Chapter 1: SANG'GRE REGIMAGINED: Episode 1 -20
Chapter Text
PROLOGUE
"As the tale goes, Cassiopeia gave Rama Ybrahim and the kingdom of Sapiro a wondrous gift—a child. Born from Lira's hair, Cassiopeia's blood, and Amihan's ashes, she would be their heiress, and they would call her Cassandra.
The land of Encantadia overflowed with joy, for not long after, the other Sang'gres too brought forth new life—children who mirrored their mothers and the destined guardians of old. These babies were the new hope of Encantadia, a promise that the kingdom would forever stand ready against the trials yet to come..."
—From Encantadia.
The story continues, reimagined here with gratitude to the original tale.
Episode 1
THE NEW SANG'GRES
Hara Cassandra of Lireo, Diwani of Sapiro
Cassandra is the Diwani of Sapiro and the eighth Queen of Lireo. Created through extraordinary means, she matured at an accelerated rate, ultimately ascending to become both Lireo's ruler and Keeper of the Air Gem.
Flamarra, Sang'gre of Lireo , Diwani of Hathoria
The second daughter of Sang'gre Pirena (keeper of the Fire Gem) and her firstborn with Azulan, Flamarra inherited her mother's most formidable traits. She is brave, bold, wise, and cunning; a true firebrand destined for greatness.
Adamus, Sang'gre of Lireo , Diwan of Adamya, the Only Living Male Sang'gre
The second son of Sang'gre Alena (keeper of the Water Gem) and the late Chief Memfes of the Gunikar tribe from Adamya, Adamus embodies water's dual nature. Like the element he is bound to, he is strong yet gentle, unstoppable in spirit yet always seeking the lower ground; a warrior with profound humility.
Gaeia, Sang'gre of Lireo
First daughter of Sang'gre Danaya (keeper of the Earth Gem) and Aquil, Gaiea was raised alongside her cousins: Flamarra, Adamus, and Cassandra. Trained from childhood in both magic and combat by Danaya herself, Gaeia represents the unshakable strength of the earth.
Armea, Sang'gre of Lireo, Diwani of Sapiro
Armea is the daughter of Rama Ybrahim of Sapiro and Sang'gre Alena, his queen consort. She is the full-blooded sister of the late Diwan Kahlil of Lireo, and the half-sister of Sang'gre Adamus and Sang'gre Lira of Lireo.
Under Nunong Imaw's guidance, they absorb the ancient wisdom of Encantadia's past; its triumphs, tragedies, and timeless truths. Meanwhile, their mothers rigorously trained them to master their innate magic, forging them into worthy wielders of the legendary gems.
Episode 2
CASSIOPEIA'S VISION
Cassiopeia, now a Bathaluman, continues to live as the "Mata" and one of the Goddesses of Encantadia. She guides the Sang'gres, who wield the Gems of Power, in governing and maintaining peace and prosperity across the kingdoms of Encantadia. However, everything begins to change when a sudden vision appears before Cassiopeia. In it, she sees darkness and coldness sweeping over Encantadia, slowly creeping into her garden realm. She hears voices calling her name and senses that terrible things are coming. Then, a hooded figure wielding an icy sword appears before her, attempting to stab and kill her. Terrified, Cassiopeia awakens. As a new Bathaluman, she gathers her courage and prays to Emre for guidance and strength, believing this to be part of her trials, duties, and fate. Determined to act, she summons the Council of Encantadia to share her dire vision and warn them of the looming threat.
Episode 3
THE COUNCIL OF ENCANTADIA
The Council consists of the most powerful rulers and guardians of the land: the three Sang'gres - Pirena, Danaya, Alena, together with Hara Cassandra of Lireo, Rama Ybrahim of Sapiro, Rama Azulan of Hathoria and the Punjabwes, Nunong Imaw of Adamya, and the Diwanis - Lira and Mira.
With urgency, Cassiopeia implores them to prepare for the coming darkness.
Nunong Imaw sought answers from the Akashic, a powerful book of knowledge known to carry severe consequences for those who use it. Though the use of the Akashic book had cost Nunong Imaw his sight, the knowledge he gained was vital. He shared everything he had discovered about Mitena with the council.
His vision also revealed a fractured prophecy: that Danaya's heir to the Earth gem will come from the mortal world and play a crucial role in saving Encantadia against Mitena, together with the young Sanggres.
However, his strength failed before the vision was complete. A heavy question hung in the air, unanswered: why would this mortal inherit the Earth Gem instead of Sang'gre Gaeia?
The unsettling mystery cast a shadow over the prophecy, but the urgency was clear. Danaya must journey to the mortal world to fulfill her destiny.
Hara Cassandra, realizing the impending danger and lacking a child or heir to inherit the Gem of Air, commanded the gem itself to choose its rightful wielder and guardian when the time came. She ensured that it would never fall into the wrong hands.
Episode 4
THE CURSED IVTRE
Born as Ivtre, Mitena was believed to bring a curse upon her family, for she was destined to end the life of her twin sister, Cassiopeia. As an Ivtre (a being without true human form), her very existence meant she would slowly draw out Cassiopeia's life force until her twin perished. This was the terrible fate that awaited - if Mitena was allowed to live.
Her father, King Memen, fearing this prophecy, cast her away into Mine-a-ve, the Ice Land of the Cursed. There, she was found by an old woman who had long survived the frozen wasteland. The woman took Mitena in, though they barely scraped by on the land's meager offerings.
When Mitena was nine years old, tragedy struck. Arsus, a monstrous being, slaughtered the old woman and devoured her, then took Mitena as his captive slave. Forced to sing him to sleep for his amusement, she lived in misery, surviving only on scraps of his leftover meat. Starvation and despair nearly claimed her life.
Episode 5
MITENA'S TRAGIC RISE TO POWER
So many years have passed, and Mitena grew into a beautiful but bitter young woman, her heart consumed by anger and resentment. Then, one day, the Bathaluman Ether, trapped in her cursed form as a serpent, approached her with an offer of aid. Though weakened, Ether helped Mitena escape her cage and whispered of a path to power. If Mitena sought vengeance, she would need great strength, strength hidden deep within Mine-a-ve.
Ether guided Mitena to the heart of the frozen land, where a fallen Archangel dwells, drowning in centuries of sorrow after being banished to the cursed realm. His Esperanto, a weapon of immense power, lay within his grasp. Knowing the Archangel's weakness, Ether revealed how Mitena could slay him in his sleep.
Driven by hatred and greed, Mitena murdered the Archangel and seized his Esperanto. Ether, desperate, begged Mitena to use the Esperanto's power to free her from her serpent form, but Mitena betrayed her. With a merciless stab, she left Ether to die in the icy depths.
As the new master of Esperanto, Mitena witnessed a mystical snow owl emerge from its power, transforming into a woman named Anaca. Bound to the weapon, Anaca pledged her loyalty, becoming Mitena's eyes and spy across Encantadia.
Now wielding unmatched power, Mitena declared herself Kera (Queen)of Mine-a-ve, molding its people into a fierce army. She trained them, enhanced their abilities, and forged them into warriors for her cause: revenge against all descendants of Memen and Ornia, her parents, including her twin sister, Cassiopeia. With Anaca at her side and an army of soldiers, Mitena set her sights on conquering Encantadia, ready to unleash her wrath upon the world that had forsaken her.
Episode 6
DEIA
Deia was a native of Mine-a-ve, raised among its denizens by her mother, the warrior Olgana, under the rule of Chief Zaur. Her father's identity remained a mystery she had long carried in silence. For years, their people lived in hiding, hunted by the monstrous Arsus who devoured them as prey, until the day Mitena defeated him and became their savior.
As a girl, Deia idolized Mitena, seeing in her the fierce Dariken (warrior) she yearned to become. She dreamed of growing strong and brave under her Kera's command. Yet Olgana forbade her from wielding weapons or training as a warrior, insisting her daughter was meant for a greater destiny.
Defying her mother's wishes, Deia secretly trained herself, mastering the bow and arrow with a natural talent that spoke of more than mere practice. She moved with the swiftness of the wind, her arrows flying with unerring grace.
Though kind-hearted and loyal to her queen, Deia grew into a woman who valued justice over obedience. She often questioned the cruelty of Mitena's reign, yet under the weight of her Kera's power, she felt compelled to abide, for now.
As years passed, the young Sang'gres across Encantadia matured into their strength. They honed their skills and fortified their kingdoms, uniting in quiet preparation for the war they knew would one day return.
Episode 7
THE SEER'S ICY DOOM
Another vision fell upon Cassiopeia. In her dream, she witnessed a cataclysmic war between Encantadia and an army of unknown warriors from distant lands - all marching under the banner of a fearsome queen wielding an icy sword and the terrible power of an Esperanto. The premonition showed rivers of blood, fallen kingdoms, and the tragic deaths, not only of soldiers but of two Sang'gres and Kings.
Disturbed by these visions, Cassiopeia urgently sought to warn the Sang'gres. But as she reached out with her divine senses, an unnatural coldness began creeping through her limbs. Her movements slowed. Her voice froze in her throat. Before her horrified eyes, her lush garden realm transformed into an endless frozen wasteland.
As the last warmth faded from her body, a snow owl materialized before her, its form shifting into a pale woman with piercing eyes and a cruel smile. The figure's triumphant gaze was the last thing Cassiopeia saw before darkness claimed her, plunging the seer into an unnatural, icy slumber.
Anaca's master, Mitena, materialized beside her, her face alight with wild triumph. Seeing her twin sister now completely helpless, she encased Cassiopeia in crystalline ice and transported the frozen prison to Mine-a-ve using her Esperanto. This cruel act served as bitter justice; she wanted her sister to endure the same frozen torment she had suffered in that cursed land of ice.
Cassiopeia stirred awake in the frozen wastes of Mine-a-ve. Gathering what remained of her divine energy, she reached out with her powers, desperate to understand her circumstances, the nature of this place, and the unknown enemies.
Through her fading vision, she perceived the truth of Mine-a-ve's history: the tragic story of Mitena, her castaway twin sister, abandoned in this cursed land by their parents. The visions revealed how Mitena had risen to power, forged an army, and now sought to conquer Encantadia.
Suddenly, a voice pierced the icy silence - Mitena herself, speaking directly into Cassiopeia's mind. "Now you shall suffer as I have suffered," the voice hissed. For the first time in their existence, the twin sisters connected psychically, their thoughts intertwining in this frozen prison of vengeance.
Episode 8
THE FALL OF LIREO
With her twin sister Cassiopeia now imprisoned, Mitena's forces overwhelmed Lireo, though the Diwata mounted a fierce defense under Hara Cassandra's leadership. The battle proved devastating, countless soldiers fell, including Mashna Muros, while Mashna Aquil clashed with Mitena's Ovlar (generals).
The confrontation between Hara Cassandra and Mitena reached its climax. Even wielding the Air Gem, Cassandra was no match for Mitena's overwhelming power. In a final act of defiance, Cassandra resisted Mitena's attempt to steal the gem, causing it to vanish in a burst of wind before Mitena struck the killing blow.
Danaya arrived to find her fallen queen. Consumed by rage, she engaged Mitena in combat, channeling the full might of her Earth Gem. However, weakened from battle, Danaya began losing ground.
Aquil, seeing his wife on the verge of defeat, and Mitena poised to seize the Earth Gem, he rushed forward in desperation. Mitena, sensing his approach, turned swiftly and struck Danaya away with a brutal blow before hurling a barrage of ice blades at Aquil.
Gaeia, suddenly appeared in Lireo, saw her father in mortal danger. Without hesitation, she activated Ivictus, materializing beside him in an instant. Grabbing Aquil, she vanished again, just as Mitena's deadly projectiles found their mark.
Danaya, upon witnessing her husband and daughter had escaped, quickly used Ivictus to safety.
The death of Hara Cassandra and the vanishing of the Air Gem marked Lireo's fall, leaving the once-great kingdom defenseless in Mitena's icy grasp.
Episode 9
A SANG'GRE'S SACRIFICE
Danaya materialized in Adamya, her momentary relief shattering into horror as she took in the scene before her.
Both Aquil and Gaeia lay wounded, Mitena's ice blades embedded deep in their bodies. The frozen shards had already begun spreading toward their hearts.
Desperate, Danaya summoned the Earth Gem's healing energy, pressing her hands against their wounds. But the frost's grip was too severe, the ice had pierced too deep.
Nearby, Lira and Nunong Imaw rushed to assist, but even their combined powers could not reverse the curse now claiming the brave Sang'gre and her father.
As the Retres circled ominously above the bodies of Gaeia and Aquil, a chorus of anguished cries rose from the grieving families, Adamyans and the heartbroken mother, Danaya.
Gaeia's Ashti Alena and her cousins, Adamus, Lira, and Mira, stood shattered alongside Danaya, their grief mirroring hers as they witnessed the devastating scene.
Nunong Imaw and all of Adamya soon learned of Hara Cassandra's fall from Danaya, compounding their sorrow with a crushing sense of hopelessness.
Danaya, consumed by anguish and burning for vengeance, steeled herself to hunt down Mitena. But before she could act, Nunong Imaw intervened, just as Mantuk and Tukman arrived with dire news: Mitena's forces had already marched on Sapiro, poised to claim another kingdom.
Pirena arrived in Adamya. She was heartbroken about her Hadiya (niece) Gaeia, Hara Cassandra, and Aquil, but relieved to know that the three gems (Fire, Water, and Earth) were still safe.
Only the Air Gem was missing, but at least they knew that Mitena didn't have it.
The three Sang'gres, with their gems in their hands, vowed to stop Mitena.
Alena urged that they must hurry to help Sapiro, especially knowing Ybrahim and their daughter Armea were there defending the kingdom.
Since they knew Mitena was attacking Sapiro, Pirena and Alena sent Adamus to Hathoria to help Flamarra and Azulan move the Hathorian and Punjabwe people to safety.
Adamus left for Hathoria. Lira and Mira stayed in Adamya with Nunong Imaw to put up magical protections around their vulnerable land.
Nunong Imaw realized that the death of Gaeia explained why she was not meant to be the next keeper of the Earth gem.
Episode 10
FALLEN RAMA OF SAPIRO
Mitena arrived in Sapiro and confronted its king, Rama Ybrahim. She demanded his surrender and that he accept her as the new queen of all Encantadia, threatening to kill everyone if he refused.
Ybrahim and the Sapiryans bravely resisted, putting up a heroic fight. Though he had no gem or special powers, Ybrahim fought alongside his Sang'gre daughter, Armea. Despite his courage and skill, he was no match for Mitena's magic and was quickly defeated. Wantuk died trying to protect his king and the Sang'gre.
Mitena then captured Armea and sealed her inside a crystal of ice. When Ybrahim tried to save his daughter, he was beaten again. Forced to his knees, Mitena held her sword to his throat and commanded all Sapiryans to surrender, or she would kill their king.
At that moment, Pirena, Danaya, and Alena arrived in the bloody palace. Pirena and Danaya prepared to attack Mitena with their gems, but Alena stopped them. She saw Ybrahim on his knees with a sword at his neck, and her daughter Armea trapped nearby.
Mitena told the Sang'gres to hand over their gems or she would kill Ybrahim and Armea. She also revealed that she had captured the Bathaluman Cassiopeia, which explained why she had not come to help them.
With no other choice, Alena agreed to give up her gem. Pirena and Danaya, unwilling to surrender theirs, desperately tried to think of a way to save their family without losing their gems.
Growing impatient, Mitena attacked the Sang'gres with her Esperanto, trying to steal the gems while still holding Ybrahim at swordpoint.
Seeing the Sang'gres about to be defeated, Ybrahim distracted Mitena. Enraged, Mitena stabbed him. This gave the Sang'gres a moment to break free of Mitena's attack. Alena teleported to Ybrahim's side to take him away from Mitena, while Pirena rushed to Armea. She tried to melt the icy prison with her Fire Gem but failed. She was then attacked by Ovlar Zaur, Daron, and other soldiers, whom she fought fearlessly.
Danaya fought Mitena with all her rage. While fighting Danaya, Mitena spotted the vulnerable Sang'gre, Alena, who was weeping over the lifeless Ybrahim. Before Danaya could react, Mitena captured Alena in another icy crystal after blasting Danaya away with her power. Eager to claim the gems, Mitena took the Water Gem from the trapped Alena and sent both her and Armea to Mine-a-ve.
Blinded by rage, Danaya launched a final, reckless charge against Mitena. In the struggle, the Earth Gem was torn from her grasp and seized by Mitena. Seeing all was lost, Pirena grabbed her defeated sister and used Ivictus to flee. They escaped, but left Sapiro in ruins, its army shattered, its king dead, and the kingdom now under Mitena's cruel control.
Episode 11
THE FALL OF HATHORIA
Unbeknownst to the Sang'gres, Mitena's army, led by the formidable General Olgana, had set its sights on Hathoria.
Azulan rallied his mighty Punjabwe and Hathorian soldiers, leading the defense from the front lines. Meanwhile, Flamarra and Adamus worked to evacuate the civilians to safety, all while fending off attacks from the invading forces.
Adamus proved a fierce warrior, cutting down many Mine-a-ve soldiers until his path was blocked by Deia, General Olgana's daughter. Their clash was intense, but Adamus gained the advantage. As he moved to strike the final blow, he hesitated, finding himself unable to deliver it.
In that moment of mercy, a soldier lunged at Adamus from behind. Seeing the threat, Deia deliberately rolled to the side, pulling Adamus with her and saving his life. Stunned and confused by her act, Adamus locked eyes with her, a silent question passing between them.
His attention was violently torn away by a horrific sight: Azulan fell, slain by one of Mitena's generals, Olgana. A raging scream echoed as Flamarra witnessed her father's death. Consumed by fury, Flamarra carved a path through the enemy ranks to confront Ovlar Olgana herself.
Flamarra was quickly overpowered. Just as Olgana moved for the kill, Adamus intervened. Grabbing his wounded cousin, he activated Ivictus, and they vanished from the battlefield.
Amid the chaos, the Sapiryan soldier Soldarius managed to lead a brave few, some Punjabwes and Hathorians, to escape the slaughter, a small spark of hope fleeing the darkness.
Their escape and the death of King Azulan, marked a total victory for Mitena, who arrived soon after to survey her new domain. Standing amidst the ruins of Hathoria, she held aloft the Water and Earth Gems, her pride swelling as she claimed her third conquered kingdom and the two legendary gems.
Episode 12
DANAYA IN THE MORTAL WORLD
Pirena and Danaya returned to Adamya, their spirits broken and their strength depleted by devastating loss. Soon after, Adamus and Flamarra arrived, bearing the terrible news of Azulan's death and the fall of Hathoria.
The report ignited a furious rage in Pirena. As the last remaining Sang'gre still in possession of a Gem of Power, the Fire Gem, she felt the weight of Encantadia's fate on her shoulders. Fear and anger simmered within her as she faced the grim reality of standing alone against Mitena, who now wielded both the Water and Earth Gems.
Meanwhile, the blind Nunong Imaw approached the grief-stricken Danaya. He spoke of the prophecy foretelling a new keeper for the Earth Gem, the one who would rise to challenge Mitena, together with the Young Sanggres. With Cassiopeia captured and their hope fading, Imaw believed the time had come to act. Understanding that this new generation was their only hope, Danaya accepted her destiny, though her heart ached with sorrow.
Nunong Imaw advised that their wisest course was to hide the young Sang'gres, Adamus and Flamarra, from Mitena's wrath. Pirena, Lira, and Mira would remain in Encantadia as guardians of what little remained. Before Danaya departed for the mortal world, they gathered together, offering prayers to Emre for guidance and protection.
By Emre's grace, Danaya arrived safely in the mortal world. There, she met a kind old man and his granddaughter, Terra, who's the same age as her daughter, Gaeia. Both were scholarly souls who believed deeply in the existence of Diwatas and magic. They welcomed Danaya with open hearts, and soon she became like family to them.
Though Danaya continued her search for the heir prophesied to inherit the Earth Gem, she found no clear sign. She wondered if Terra could be the one, but the gentle, bookish girl showed no traits of a Sang'gre, no physical strength, no spark of innate power. Doubt clouded Danaya's purpose.
Then tragedy struck. Robbers attacked their home, and though Danaya fought bravely, she arrived too late. The old man and Terra lay severely wounded. Without her gem, Danaya possessed no healing magic. Powerless and despairing, she could do nothing but fall to her knees and pray to Emre.
Episode 13
DEVAS
In Devas, the celestial residence of Emre, the supreme deity of Encantadia, and the eternal resting place where the spirits of virtuous Encantados ascend, Amihan and Ybrahim were finally reunited. Alongside them stood Hara Cassandra, Aquil, Muros, and Gaeia. Together, they watched the tragedies unfolding in their homeland with heavy hearts. United in sorrow, they pleaded with Emre to intervene and save their loved ones from their cruel fate.
Emre listened but replied that the power to overcome these trials must come from those still living in Encantadia. He explained that true strength and greatness are revealed not through divine intervention, but through the choices and resilience of the people themselves. While he could offer guidance and wisdom, the will to rise, or fall, rested in their hands. He also urged them to place their faith in Cassiopeia, their Hara Durye and Bathaluman, whose wisdom and presence remained a beacon of hope even in darkness.
Gaeia stepped forward, her voice filled with desperation. She begged Emre for a second chance, unable to accept that her life as a Sang'gre had ended without purpose. She felt a deep certainty that there was still something she must do for Encantadia, a destiny left unfulfilled. With unwavering determination, she vowed to help her homeland in any way she could, whatever the cost.
Emre, as if he had long anticipated Gaeia's plea, simply smiled, his expression one of deep admiration for her courage. He knew she spoke from a place of profound truth and selfless intent. Though granting her return would come at a great personal cost, Emre could already see the tapestry of her fate unfolding, a path of sacrifice and greatness that lay waiting for her to walk.
Emre smiled warmly at Gaeia, his expression radiating approval. He then turned to the grieving Ivtres and spoke with divine assurance, promising them that peace would one day be restored to Encantadia. Though darkness now reigned, he affirmed that their faith and resilience would ultimately guide their world back to harmony.
Episode 14
LIRA'S NEW POWER
Adamya stood as the last kingdom unconquered by Mitena. Within its borders, Lira and Mira stood guard alongside Nunong Imaw and the surviving soldiers of Sapiro and Lireo. They had shielded the land with ancient magic, a powerful, time-tested barrier that had so far repelled all enemy forces and so Mitena could not easily penetrate the kingdom.
Meanwhile, Pirena, Flamarra, and Adamus ventured into hiding, seeking to rendezvous with the survivors of the Hathorian battle, led by Soldarius. They found the group taking refuge deep within one of Encantadia's forgotten forests.
Pirena started training Flamarra and Adamus right away. She taught them how to fight, how to use their natural Sang'gre magic, and most importantly, how to use and control a gem of power. Since Pirena had once used the Water Gem herself, she was also able to teach Adamus what she knew about it. With her guidance, the young Sang'gres grew stronger, braver, and wiser.
Back in Adamya, Lira discovered an ancient text containing forgotten wisdom. Within its pages, she learned of a form of magic that allowed telepathy, a gift similar to Cassiopeia's. Determined, she reached out with her mind, attempting to connect with the imprisoned Bathaluman—and succeeded.
Though still trapped within her crystalline prison, Cassiopeia suddenly sensed Lira's presence. A spark of hope in the endless cold. When Armea and Alena learned of this connection, their spirits lifted, grateful to once again feel tied to their homeland.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Lira poured everything she knew into their mental conversation. In return, Cassiopeia shared all she had learned about Mine-a-ve and Mitena's forces. She felt a surge of pride knowing Lira had unlocked this rare and divine ability.
But the connection was short-lived. The effort drained Lira's energy greatly, and as her power reached its limit, the mental thread between them snapped. Exhausted, she fell into a deep sleep that lasted an entire day. Throughout her rest, Mira, her ever dearest cousin and best friend, stood guard, protecting both Lira and the borders of Adamya with unwavering vigilance.
Meanwhile, the Akashic once again unveiled its knowledge to the blind Nunong Imaw. Within its pages, a vision unfolded: Danaya had succeeded in her quest, finding the heir to the Earth Gem and now stood ready to return to Encantadia. Overjoyed by this hope-filled news, Nunong Imaw immediately dispatched trusted warriors to the Aznamon Portal to ensure Danaya and the heir arrived safely in Adamya.
However, little did they know that Anaca, Mitena's ever-watchful snow owl, had been spying on them from afar. She observed every move and overheard their plans. Swiftly, she returned to her mistress and revealed that Sang'gre Danaya was returning through the portal.
Upon learning this, Mitena handpicked her finest soldiers and marched at once to the Aznamon Portal. She arrived with cold determination, poised to intercept the returning Sang'gre and crush this newfound hope before it could even begin.
Episode 15
A QUEIT DEFIANCE
Olgana's army, which included her daughter Deia, was tasked by Mitena with hunting the last remaining Sang'gres. As they scoured Encantadia, they discovered several Diwatas in hiding and brutally took them as slave prisoners. Deia's heart broke at the sight; she was vehemently against such cruelty. With every step, she found Encantadia more beautiful and its people far kinder than the monstrous image Mitena had painted. Though she despised her mission, she felt powerless to openly defy her orders.
Instead, she devised a quiet resistance. She deliberately slowed her pace, falling behind her mother and the main force to distance herself from the atrocities she could not bear to witness.
While venturing deep into a misty forest, she allowed herself to drift further from the group until she was nearly separated. In the distance, movement caught her eye—a hidden encampment. There, she spotted a group of Hathorian soldiers, Punjabwes, and to her astonishment, the young Sang'gre Adamus.
A war erupted within her, duty versus conscience. In a decisive moment, her heart won. She hurried back to the patrol and deliberately urged them to turn the other way, claiming the path was barren or too dangerous. As her mother's unit marched away from the refugees, a weight lifted from Deia's soul. A quiet smile touched her lips, her spirit lightened by the secret act of rebellion. She sent a silent hope into the world that the refugees, and the Sang'gre, would remain safe from Mitena's wrath.
Episode 16
A WHISPER ON THE WIND
Deia felt proud of the secret choice she had made. As she walked back toward the noise of the patrol, she felt a new sense of purpose growing inside her. Maybe she could find more small, hidden ways to fight against Mitena's cruelty.
But then she stopped. Something felt strange. A light tingling feeling touched the edge of her senses. She tilted her head and listened. It wasn't really a sound, more like a soft whisper carried by the wind.
It felt old and kind, but also urgent, like a song she almost remembered from a dream. It was nothing like the cold, harsh feel of Mitena's power or the serious mood of her own people. This was different. It felt... familiar.
A shiver ran through her that wasn't from the cold. Without thinking, her hand rose to touch the simple stone necklace her mother had given her years ago. For just a moment, the whisper in the wind seemed to hum along with it.
What is this? she wondered, looking around the calm, empty forest. The call felt like an invitation, a silent question. It touched a part of her heart she didn't even know was there.
Just as quickly as it came, the feeling faded, leaving behind only a faint memory and a deep curiosity. In the distance, Olgana shouted her name, calling her back to reality. But as Deia rushed to rejoin the others, she wasn't thinking about prisoners or Sang'gres anymore.
Her thoughts were on the wind, and the gentle, mysterious power that had just called out to her.
Episode 17
TERRA AND GAEIA
Emre told Gaeia she could return to life to help save Encantadia, but the price would be her memories. She would forget her family and her past, but fate would guide her back. Someone who cared for her would help her find her way, and she would still feel a deep connection to those she loved. Gaeia agreed, willing to sacrifice everything to protect her home and family.
Terra would become Gaeia's sarkosi, the new vessel for her spirit. This meant Terra was the one from Nunong Imaw's prophecy: the next keeper of the Earth Gem.
Meanwhile, in the mortal world, Danaya cried over the bodies of the grandfather and Terra. Suddenly, Terra gasped, alive again, her eyes opening.
Overwhelmed with joy, Danaya felt she had missed Terra more than she knew. In that moment, she sensed something familiar, the presence of her daughter, Gaeia, and the strong energy of the Earth gem. She realized, clearer than ever, that Terra was the heir to the Earth Gem she had been searching for all along.
Danaya quickly told Terra everything: about Encantadia, the gems, and the magic she was meant to wield. Terra could hardly believe it, but she felt excited, and deep down, something felt right.
With no family left in the mortal world, she agreed to go with Danaya. Together, they journeyed to the Tree of Aznamon, the portal that would lead them back to Encantadia.
Episode 18
A PLAN OF HOPE
Cassiopeia, still trapped, tried to understand Mitena's power. She realized it was as strong as a Bathaluman's, and she believed the weapon Mitena used—the Esperanto—must have once belonged to a divine being. Even she, a Bathaluman herself, could not break free from the icy prison on her own.
She thought it would take tremendous power to shatter the crystal, perhaps even the combined force of the Gems of Power. But knowing Mitena already held two gems, she worried whether Pirena's Fire Gem alone would be enough. Still, she had to try. She told the other captives, Alena and Armea, her plan. Together, they began to meditate, gathering their strength.
To reach the Fire Gem, Cassiopeia needed to connect with Lira again. Lira would serve as a bridge, allowing Pirena's power and the Fire Gem's energy to flow through her and reach them.
In Adamya, Lira woke up fully rested. She told Nunong Imaw and the others about her mental conversation with Cassiopeia. Knowing she could speak to their Bathaluman, Lira eagerly began thinking of ways to help free them.
Her thoughts then turned to the Air Gem. The painful memory of her daughter Cassandra's death surfaced in her heart. She remembered that Cassandra had commanded the gem to find its own rightful keeper. A new urgency filled her. She needed to know if the gem had succeeded. Had it found someone new? And if not, how long would they have to wait? Their hope might depend on it.
Episode 19
A NARROW ESCAPE
As soon as Danaya sensed the portal open, she and Terra stepped through, only to find Mitena waiting for them. The soldiers Nunong Imaw had sent lay slain. Ready to fight, Danaya bravely faced Mitena's soldiers.
Enraged by Danaya's resistance, Mitena attacked using the Earth Gem. But Danaya, who had once been its keeper, knew its power intimately and easily dodged the assault. Angered by this, Mitena switched to her Esperanto, hurling sharp blades of ice toward Danaya.
Terra watched, frozen, but the scene felt strangely familiar. Without thinking, she suddenly used Ivictus, teleporting herself and Danaya a short distance away, behind enemy lines. Danaya was stunned. Terra had used a power only Sang'gres should know. Her heart swelled with emotion, feeling the presence of her daughter, Gaeia, stronger than ever. Terra herself was confused but somehow certain, she had known what to do, and she could feel a new energy awakening within her. Furious, Mitena prepared to strike again, but Danaya acted quickly. Holding Terra close, she used Ivictus once more, and they vanished, reappearing safely in Adamya.
Nunong Imaw, Lira, Mira, and all in Adamya rejoiced at their return. After resting and receiving healing from Lira, Nunong Imaw gently explained to Terra her destiny as the new keeper of the Earth Gem. Later, Danaya spoke to Imaw in private. She confessed what she felt, that Terra might be Gaeia's sarkosi, her reborn spirit. Nunong Imaw could not confirm it, but he, too, sensed something familiar within Terra. Filled with renewed hope, Danaya vowed in her heart to protect Terra no matter the cost. This time, she would not fail.
Meanwhile, back at the Aznamon Portal, Mitena's rage erupted into a storm of icy power. Her prey had escaped not once, but twice, slipping through her grasp like mist. Enraged by the humiliation and the lingering presence of the Sang'gres' magic, she decided they would never escape her again. Channeling the full force of her Esperanto and the stolen gems, she unleashed a devastating blast of frost onto the ancient Tree of Aznamon. The portal shimmered, cracked, and then froze over entirely, sealed behind a wall of impenetrable, magical ice. A cruel smile touched her lips. No Sang'gre would ever flee Encantadia again. They were all trapped now, and she would hunt them down one by one.
Episode 20
HEARTS OF FIRE, MIND OF WATER
After training intensely with Pirena, Adamus and Flamarra were eager to strike back at Mitena. However, their plans were interrupted when Pirena received an urgent mental message from Lira, summoning her back to Adamya immediately.
Left to their own resolve, Adamus and Flamarra could not stand waiting while Mitena tightened her grip on Encantadia. They began leading daring, hit-and-run raids on Mitena's supply lines and smaller patrols. Flamarra's rage made her fierce but reckless. She led charges that inflicted real damage on Mine-a-ve forces, becoming a symbol of resistance that slowly spread hope. However, her hunger for vengeance constantly put her in danger, requiring Adamus to rescue her.
Adamus's goal was more strategic. While he fought, he was also gathering intelligence, how to get to his mother, Alena, who was being held captive and how to reclaim the Water Gem. He was the cautious mind to Flamarra's burning heart. Their strikes were initially driven by pure rage, but they soon realized that to truly win, they needed an army.
Shifting their strategy, they used their growing reputation as "ghosts" who strike from the forest to make contact with and inspire the resistance movements in Sapiro and Hathoria. Flamarra appealed to the people's loyalty to her slain father, Azulan, and rallied the surviving warriors. Her passion ignited a rebellion, while Adamus, using his calm strength and his mother's legacy, earned the trust of the scattered Sapiryan resistance. He worked to unite them with the Hathorians.
Their actions successfully diverted Mitena's attention, forcing her to send resources to hunt them down instead of focusing solely on crushing Adamya. This indirectly helped Danaya and Terra gain more time for preparation.

Chapter Text
Episode 21
OLGANA'S SECRET
The forest was silent, save for the crunch of frost underfoot as Deia and Olgana scanned the trees for any sign of the remaining Sang'gres. Deia's steps were heavy with doubt, her heart conflicted after yet another day of hunting those she felt no hatred for.
Noticing her daughter's silence, Olgana placed a firm but gentle hand on her shoulder. Her touch was meant to reassure, but her eyes held a deep, unspoken fear. She urged Deia to remain strong and to obey their Kera Mitena without question or hesitation. The intensity in her gaze conveyed a desperate warning: that any sign of opposition or failure would risk Mitena's wrath, and Olgana could not bear the thought of losing her.
In that moment, as she looked at the daughter of her heart, Olgana's mind flashed back to the day she found Deia—a memory she had sworn never to share.
Olgana was pulled from her thoughts as Deia's voice called out to her, suggesting they return to Kera Mitena empty-handed: their search for the Sang'gres had failed. Olgana nodded in agreement, her expression neutral, but behind her eyes lay a deeper understanding. She knew the truth of Deia's origins, and she had already begun crafting a quiet plan of her own. She would keep Deia safe, hidden in plain sight under Mitena's rule, until the time was right. When the greedy and power-hungry Mitena was finally overthrown or stripped of her stolen authority, only then would Olgana guide Deia to reclaim her birthright and true place.
Episode 22
BETWEEN RESCUE AND BATTLE
Pirena arrived swiftly in Adamya after receiving Lira's summons. Lira immediately proposed a plan to rescue Bathaluman Cassiopeia and the other captives, now that she could communicate with her telepathically.
At that very moment, Cassiopeia reached out through their mental connection, sharing a plan to break free from their icy prison, a plan that required combining her own divine power with the strength of the Sang'gres and the raw energy of the Fire Gem.
Though they only possessed one gem, they knew this fusion of power was their only hope to shatter the prison and join the fight against Mitena.
Before they could begin the rescue, however, Mantuk and Tukman, Adamya's most trusted spies, rushed in with urgent news: Mitena's forces were advancing on the rebel "ghosts" hiding in the forest. Pirena instantly knew these were Flamarra and Adamus. Fear seized her, if they faced Mitena's army, their lives would be in grave danger.
Though Pirena longed to aid them herself, she knew her duty lay with the Fire Gem and the mission to save Cassiopeia. Just then, her first-born daughter, Mira, stepped forward. Having grown into a formidable warrior blessed by Emre himself, she now wielded the mighty sacred weapon, Kamao ni Emre (Fist of Emre). Confident in her daughter's strength and divine armament, Pirena agreed, entrusting Mira to find Flamarra and Adamus and ensure their safety.
Episode 23
THE SHATTERING
With Mira gone to aid the rebels, Adamya's defenses were weakened. Sensing the vulnerability, Nunong Imaw strengthened the magical barrier with deeper, more powerful incantations, weaving additional layers of protection around the kingdom.
Meanwhile, Danaya approached Terra, offering her Aquil's sword. As Terra's fingers wrapped around the hilt, a wave of powerful yet conflicting emotions washed over her. As Gaeia's sarkosi, she felt an inexplicable joy, a deep, soul-level recognition mixed with profound sadness. This was the sword of Mashna Aquil, Gaeia's father. Though her mind held no memories, her spirit felt an instant and powerful connection to the weapon and the legacy it carried. Without hesitation, she accepted the blade, her resolve firm. She was ready to stand alongside them, to defend Adamya. Taking command, she led the brave soldiers in preparing their defenses.
At the same time, the Sang'gres: Danaya, Pirena, and Lira, began their rescue mission. They gathered in a circle, meditating deeply as Lira reached out telepathically to Cassiopeia. The Bathaluman answered immediately, and together, they focused their combined magical power on one goal: shattering the icy prison.
Lira channeled the raging energy of the Fire Gem through her mind toward Cassiopeia. With divine incantations and immense power, Cassiopeia directed this force, first shattering the crystals containing Armea and Alena, then finally breaking her own bonds.
Free at last, they did not delay, using Ivictus, they transported instantly to Adamya, reuniting with their allies. Joy swept through everyone at the mission's success, though Lira lay weakened, drained by the immense effort. Cassiopeia gently restored her energy with a touch.
Yet the Bathaluman's expression remained grave. She reminded everyone that it was not yet time to celebrate. They still needed to reclaim the gems from Mitena. Drawing upon her divine authority as a Bathaluman and former keeper of the Mother Gem, Cassiopeia called upon the Earth and Water Gems. With unwavering command, she summoned them to return to their rightful keepers.
Episode 24
THE GEM'S RETURN
Meanwhile, Mitena's forces relentlessly pursued Flamarra and Adamus through the forest, with Mira fighting fiercely to protect them. Drawing on their intense training under Pirena, Flamarra and Adamus fought valiantly beside her.
Flamarra's strikes burned with newfound precision, while Adamus moved with the fluid, unstoppable force of a rising tide. Their Sang'gre powers awakening in the heat of battle, it was clear they were no longer the vulnerable children they once had been.
Many of their rebel companions fell, and Soldarius was left mortally wounded in the struggle. The sight of her loyal commander lying helpless struck Flamarra deeply, and for a moment, her focus wavered, grief and fear clouding her resolve.
Determined to end the young Sang'gres' lives, Mitena prepared to strike the final blow. Suddenly, she faltered. The Gems of Power shuddered violently, tearing free from her control.
Confusion and panic gripped her as she fought desperately to hold onto them, but it was too late. The Water and Earth Gems ripped from her grasp and vanished into light.
Mira realized in an instant: Cassiopeia and the others had been freed. The gems had returned to their rightful owners.
Seizing the moment of Mitena's distraction, Flamarra, Adamus, and Mira rallied. They drove back the remaining soldiers, leaving Mitena isolated and vulnerable. Just as the enraged queen gathered her power to retaliate, Adamus and Flamarra gathered the survivors. With Mira's aid, they activated Ivictus and vanished from the battlefield, leaving Mitena alone, humiliated, and burning with fury.
Episode 25
THE KEEPER'S LEGACY
A wave of relief and joy swept through Adamya as the rebels arrived. The air, once thick with tension, now buzzed with a short but heartfelt celebration of victory. Cassiopeia, Alena, and Armea were finally free, leading to emotional reunions with their loved ones.
Alena and Armea embraced Adamus, their hold tight with tears and unspoken gratitude. Pirena gathered Mira and Flamarra in her arms, and with the returning survivors, her heart swelling with pride and relief that they were all safe.
All eyes then turned to Terra, whom Nunong Imaw and Danaya presented as the destined next Keeper of the Earth Gem, just as the Akashic had foretold. The atmosphere shifted to one of awe and acceptance as everyone welcomed her.
Cassiopeia, her divine presence calming yet powerful, reunited warmly with the Sang'gres and a deeply moved Nunong Imaw. As if answering their renewed hope, the Water Gem soared through the air and returned to its rightful keeper, Alena, while the Earth Gem glowed brightly as it settled once more into Danaya's hand.
The fight was far from over, but in that moment, surrounded by reunited family and reclaimed power, hope felt stronger than ever.
With Terra's role now clear, Cassiopeia turned to Pirena and Alena with a sobering suggestion. Anticipating Mitena's inevitable return, which for sure is stronger and more vengeful than ever, she urged them to follow the same path of foresight.
She proposed that they formally prepare Flamarra and Adamus to become the next Keepers of the Fire and Water Gems. By forging this bond ahead of time, they would ensure the gems could never be taken by force or fall into the wrong hands, even if something were to happen to Pirena and Alena themselves.
In facing what lay ahead, they could afford no surprises; they had to be ready for anything. Heeding the Bathaluman's counsel, Pirena and Alena immediately agreed. They each placed their hands upon their gems, closing their eyes as they began the sacred process of attuning them to their children's spirits, ensuring a seamless transition of power when the time came.
As the ritual concluded, a thoughtful silence fell over the group. Lira then stepped forward, her expression both gentle and deeply curious. She turned her gaze toward Bathaluman Cassiopeia, her eyes silently posing a question that weighed on many minds—what had become of the Air Gem? With a look of earnest concern, she sought to learn whether Cassiopeia's visions had revealed the gem's new keeper, or if it had already found its destined guardian.
Episode 26
A DESTINY FROZEN IN TIME
Once there was Diwata raised far from the intrigues of the royal court. In secret, she gave birth to a daughter. But as a great darkness began to engulf Encantadia, the diwata feared for her child's life. Using all her magical power, she performed a desperate act of protection.
She concealed her infant daughter inside the heart of a massive, ancient tree deep within an enchanted forest in the heart of Encantadia. There, the child was placed into a deep, magical sleep, a slumber meant to last until the day she was destined to awaken and serve her homeland in its hour of greatest need.
As a final act of love, she placed her own royal necklace around her daughter's neck—proof of her Sang'gre bloodline and a promise that one day, she would return to her rightful home. The years turned into centuries, and the secret of the enchanted tree remained kept.
Olgana, a strong-willed woman living in the harsh lands of Mine-a-ve, was part of a desperate hunting party that ventured far beyond their borders into the heart of Encantadia, risking the perils of the outside world to find food for their starving people.
Their path led them deep into a strange, silent forest that felt older than time. While separated from her group, Olgana felt an inexplicable pull guiding her toward the oldest tree in the grove. And suddenly fell into a deep sleep. And that moment also, she woke up at the same spot, but everything felt magical and enchanted.
A soft light pulsed from within its vast trunk of the tree. Compelled by a force she couldn't understand, she placed her hand on the bark, which shimmered and parted to reveal a miraculous sight: a sleeping child, glowing with a gentle light, a beautiful necklace that bore Lireo's emblem around her neck.
The moment Olgana lifted the girl into her arms, the child's eyes fluttered open. Seeing the vulnerable infant and fearing the dangers of the world that had forced her into hiding, Olgana's instinct to protect overwhelmed her. She made a choice: she would not leave the child behind.
Then she cradled the baby in her arms, closing her eyes as she held the child close. When she opened them again, she was back in the present moment—still holding the infant tightly against her, as if no time had passed at all.
She kept her discovery a secret from the others and brought the child back to the only home she knew, Mine-a-ve. She named the girl Deia, raising her as her own daughter and forever guarding the truth of her royal origins.
Yet, one question had lingered in Olgana's mind for years—why had Deia never shown any signs of the extraordinary abilities that defined the Sang'gres? Was her power lying dormant, sealed away by the same ancient magic that had hidden her as an infant? Or did the blood of the Diwatas simply not flow as strongly within her?
The uncertainty weighed on Olgana, a quiet worry that never fully left her thoughts. Whatever the reason, she was secretly thankful for it, for now. If Deia's powers were to awaken prematurely, she would instantly become a threat in Mitena's eyes, exposing her true identity and destroying Olgana's carefully laid plans for both her daughter's future and her own survival.
Episode 27
BEFORE THE STORM
With the Gems of Power restored to their rightful keepers, Cassiopeia stood before her allies and laid out their final strategy for liberation. Her plan was one of precision and diversion.
She would personally ensure that Mitena's wrath was focused solely on her, drawing the usurper queen into a direct confrontation. This would prevent Mitena from intervening as the others moved to reclaim their homelands and save their people.
With this crucial role securing their efforts, she assigned the missions:
Pirena and Flamarra, alongside the surviving Hathorian warriors, were to reclaim Hathoria.
Alena and Adamus, leading the loyal Sapiryan soldiers, would aid the newly crowned Queen Armea in retaking Sapiro.
Danaya, Terra, and supported by a contingent of Sapiryans, would march to restore Lireo.
Cassiopeia, Lira and Mira, and Nunong Imaw would hold their position in Adamya.
From this heart of resistance, Cassiopeia would extend her consciousness toward Mitena, seeking to connect with her twin sister in a final attempt to appeal to the light buried within her and persuade her to abandon the path of darkness.
This outreach would also serve a vital strategic purpose: Cassiopeia would act as a beacon, deliberately drawing Mitena's complete and undivided attention away from the other Sang'gres' missions.
Meanwhile, Lira, whose emerging abilities increasingly reflected Cassiopeia's own profound connection to Encantadia, would dedicate herself to an urgent task. With great focus, she would work to locate the prophesied Keeper of the Air Gem, racing to find this crucial individual before the forces of darkness could claim the gem and its destined guardian.
Their fates now intertwined by duty and hope, the allies dispersed, each group carrying the resolve to reclaim their future and the trust that Cassiopeia would be their shield against Mitena's fury.
Episode 28
ECHOES OF A COMING WAR
The sudden silence that followed was broken only by the howling wind. Mitena stood alone where her enemies had stood moments before, her humiliation curdling into pure, undiluted rage.
Consumed by this fury, she unleashed her power, flash-freezing the entire forest around her into a silent, glittering tomb of ice. But in the terrible clarity of her anger, a chilling realization struck her: Cassiopeia and the others had broken free from their prison in Mine-a-ve.
This betrayal fueled her wrath into an inferno. She immediately returned to Lireo, the kingdom she had stolen, and from its conquered throne, she issued a command that echoed across her occupied territories. Every warrior of Mine-a-ve stationed in Lireo, Hathoria, and Sapiro was to prepare for a war of total annihilation; this time, she would leave no Sang'gre alive.
Soon after, Anaca arrived, her form shifting from owl to woman. She delivered grave news: Cassiopeia and the Sang'gres had been sighted in Adamya, and they had successfully reclaimed the gems of Water and Earth. She also warned of a powerful, ancient magic shielding Adamya, a barrier so strong that not even Mitena could yet breach it.
Undeterred, Mitena's resolve hardened into cold, absolute purpose. She would crush Adamya and end Cassiopeia. Retreating to her chambers, she began to meditate, drawing deep upon the dark power of her Esperanto to gather her strength for the coming storm.
Episode 29
AWAKENING
Olgana's troupe arrived at the conquered halls of Lireo to report to Queen Mitena. From the moment they entered, Deia sensed a heavy, dangerous mood hanging over the throne room, a stark contrast to the grim determination that usually filled it.
Olgana stepped forward and delivered their report: they had found no trace of the hidden Sang'gres. Mitena's expression darkened into something monstrous. In a voice trembling with rage, she revealed that the young Sang'gres were not only alive but actively undermining her reign and had just escaped her very grasp, humiliating her before her own army.
Mitena seethed, her eyes burning with uncontrollable fury as she told Olgana and her troupe is useless. Terrified, Olgana could only bow lower, begging for mercy. But Mitena, lost in her anger, raised a hand crackling with deadly power and struck Olgana down where she stood.
Deia stared in horror as the woman who had raised her, protected her, and loved her as a mother fell lifeless to the floor. A wave of shock, grief, and raw fury surged through her. Without thought or control, a whirlwind of power erupted from deep within her, shaking the chamber, throwing soldiers off balance, and even causing Mitena to step back in surprise.
As quickly as it came, the energy faded. Deia collapsed to her knees, weakened and weeping, her eyes blazing with pain and hatred. Mitena approached slowly, her own rage now mixed with cold curiosity and alarm.
She had not known Deia possessed such power—power that could make her a threat. As she lifted a hand to punish the girl, Deia looked up sharply, her gaze cutting through the tension.
Then, just as Mitena moved to strike, Deia vanished into thin air, as though using the Sang'gre art of Ivictus. Silence fell. Mitena stood alone amid the chaos, more intrigued than ever, and utterly enraged.
Episode 30
THE BANNER RISES AGAIN
Pirena and Flamarra stood united against Mitena's mighty Ovlar generals and the hardened soldiers of Mine-a-ve. Though the battle was fierce and cost the lives of many brave Hathorian and Punjabwe warriors, the power of the Fire Gem burned brightly in the Sang'gre's hand, leading them to a hard-won victory.
With the enemy forces defeated, they liberated the enslaved captives, offering them shelter and hope. In a moment of solemn triumph, Pirena reclaimed her rightful place as Hara of Hathoria, her voice echoing with authority and resolve as her people rallied around her.
High above the fortress, the banner of Hathoria—a symbol of resilience and pride—was hoisted once again, waving defiantly against the sky as a testament to their reclaimed freedom.
Flamarra, her heart burning with the fire of victory and fierce pride, stood taller than ever before. The heat of battle had forged her spirit, and in that moment, she knew, she was no longer just a princess in training. She was a warrior, strong, determined, and ready to face Mitena herself.
Meanwhile, in Sapiro, Queen Armea returned with a heart steeled by resolve and a crown weighed by purpose. She was determined to reclaim her beloved kingdom, not just for herself, but for her fallen father, King Ybrahim, and for all who had suffered under Mitena's cruel reign.
With her mother, Alena, wielding the formidable power of the Water Gem, they overwhelmed the Ovlars stationed to oppress the kingdom. Adamus and Armea fought side-by-side, a storm of vengeance and justice, cutting down every soldier who dared to stand in their path.
As the last of the enemy forces fell, they turned their efforts to breaking the chains of the enslaved, offering freedom and renewed hope to their people. As the sun set over the liberated capital, the banner of Rama Ybrahim was hoisted high once more, its colors waving not just in victory, but in promise—a solemn vow that the light of Sapiro would never again be extinguished.
Chapter 3: SANG'GRE REGIMAGINED: Episode 31 - 40
Chapter Text
Episode 31
A REBEL'S HEART
Lira's mind grew still, her consciousness reaching across Encantadia as she sought the Air Gem's chosen keeper. Then, a vision bloomed behind her eyes: the ancient, enchanted tree Cassiopeia had described.
Before it stood a young woman, her body trembling with silent sobs. An aura of immense power—raw, untamed, and edged with deep hatred—radiated from her, yet beneath it, Lira could feel profound sadness and fragility.
Lira called out to her, softly at first, then with more urgency, trying to offer comfort or connection. But the girl did not seem to hear her; her grief was a wall nothing could penetrate.Lira's focus then shifted to the girl's attire, armor she recognized all too well. This was no ordinary Diwata; she was a soldier of Mine-a-ve, a bow and quiver visible at her side.
Confusion swept through Lira. How could one of Mitena's own be the subject of a vision meant to reveal the heir to the Air Gem? Could this grieving warrior truly be the one Queen Cassandra's gem had chosen? Why would it select someone from the enemy's ranks?
Before she could ponder further, the vision faded, and Lira returned to herself. She took a steadying breath, grateful that her control had grown; the strain of such deep sight no longer drained her as it once did.
Without delay, she sought out Nunong Imaw. She recounted every detail of the vision—the tree, the tormented girl, the Mine-a-ve armor—and asked if he might use his Balintataw to scry into this soldier's recent past, hoping to understand who she was and what pain had brought her to that lonely place beneath the enchanted tree.
Nunong Imaw, though weary and aged, agreed. He closed his eyes, and the mystical Balintataw glowed softly before him, its surface swirling with shadows and light. In its depths, he witnessed the truth: the girl was Deia, daughter of the Ovlar, Olgana.
He saw Mitena's uncontrollable rage, the cruel strike that ended Olgana's life, and Deia's explosive surge of grief-stricken power that followed—a whirlwind of emotion and energy that shook the very foundations of the throne room. He saw her vanish, using a power she should not have possessed, leaving a stunned and furious Mitena behind.
As the vision faded, Nunong Imaw turned to Lira, his expression grave with the weight of what he had learned. He revealed that the girl was named Deia, daughter of the loyal Ovlar Olgana. it seems that her extraordinary power had not been born from Mitena's influence, but rather awakened in rebellion against it—triggered by the profound injustice and personal tragedy of her mother's death.
The Air Gem, he explained, did not seek a flawless champion, but rather a wounded one whose heart understood loss and burned with an innate sense of justice. It had chosen Deia not in spite of her suffering, but precisely because of it, because she was a rebel at heart, unwilling to bow to tyranny even when raised within its grasp.
A deeper intuition stirred within Nunong Imaw, one that resonated with ancient wisdom. Something in the clarity of her energy, the noble defiance etched in her spirit, whispered a truth he could not ignore:
Deia was not merely a soldier of Mine-a-ve. She carried the radiant, unmistakable essence of Sang'gre blood.
Episode 32
HIRAYA
Cassiopeia focused her power, reaching across the vastness between them to touch Mitena's mind. Her intent was not to fight, but to guide her twin into Hiraya—a sacred dream realm where their consciousness could meet beyond the reach of their physical conflict.
After a moment of intense concentration, the connection solidified. Mitena suddenly found herself standing in an unfamiliar, ethereal space, confusion clouding her thoughts until her eyes fell upon Cassiopeia standing calmly in the distance.
Rage ignited within Mitena, fierce and immediate, and she moved to challenge her sister. Yet Cassiopeia did not flinch or prepare for battle. Instead, she stood with open arms, her eyes filled not with anger, but profound sorrow and concern.
In a voice resonating with empathy, she asked Mitena for forgiveness—for the suffering she had endured, for the abandonment by their parents, and for not having known her fate sooner. She spoke of how deeply she wished she could have saved Mitena from the torment of Mine-a-ve.
Though hatred still burned in Mitena's heart, she found herself unable to strike. Something in Cassiopeia's sincerity, in the raw remorse she showed, gave Mitena pause. Against her will, tears began to trace paths down her cheeks—tears of pain, isolation, and perhaps the faintest spark of longing.
Cassiopeia gently urged her sister to turn away from the path of darkness, assuring her that it was not too late. She promised Mitena love—not only from herself, but acceptance from her true kin, and a rightful place waiting for her in Encantadia, the home she was always meant to know.
Mitena, on the verge of being moved by her twin sister's heartfelt words, suddenly recoiled as a flood of painful memories surged within her—the cold, the abandonment, the years of suffering in Mine-a-ve.
Her heart, which had begun to soften, now turned cold again, fortified by doubt and bitterness. How could Cassiopeia—how could any of them—truly accept her after all the destruction she had wrought? After the lives she had taken and the kingdoms she had broken?
No, it was too late for forgiveness. Too late for belonging. What mattered now was power—the only truth she had ever known in a world that had shown her no kindness. She would prove to all of them that casting her out was their gravest mistake.
She would rise, not as a sister welcomed home, but as a queen who demanded reverence. She would make all of Encantadia bow before her—especially the sister who now offered a love that felt, to Mitena, like pity far too late.
Cassiopeia, though refusing to fight, deftly evaded Mitena's attacks. Instead of striking back, she raised her hands, weaving a powerful magical barrier that sealed the dream realm of Hiraya—not to harm her sister, but to prevent her from leaving.
Though she would not engage in combat, Cassiopeia gently guided the flow of the dream, subtly trapping Mitena within the shared consciousness a while longer, buying precious time for the Sang'gres to reclaim Lireo unimpeded.
Episode 33
THE ESPERANTO GAMBIT
Back in the physical world, a shimmering forcefield enveloped Mitena's entire chamber, sealing her body safely inside while her mind remained adrift in Hiraya. No one could enter or exit, ensuring both her protection and her temporary isolation.
Within the dream, Cassiopeia continued to speak calmly to Mitena, her voice a steady presence amid the swirling emotions. Mitena struggled fiercely against her sister's control, lashing out with raw power and frustration, but in this realm of the mind, Cassiopeia's will held gentle sway—not to dominate, but to delay, to reason, and to hope.
Terra, still struggling to adapt to her new role and not yet in full control of her powers, found herself in mortal peril when she faced one of Mitena's most powerful Ovlars. Though she fought bravely, she was severely wounded.
Danaya, seeing Terra fall, rushed to her aid, driving off the attackers—though in doing so, she allowed several generals to escape and report to Mitena. After quickly healing Terra's injuries, Danaya and her newly recovered companion pressed on, cutting their way through the remaining Mine-a-ve soldiers toward Mitena's chamber.
When they arrived, they found the escaped Ovlars already there, confused and alarmed to discover their queen sealed inside a glowing, impenetrable force shield—trapped by Cassiopeia's power.
Another fierce battle erupted as Danaya and Terra fought to eliminate the last of Mitena's loyalists. They could not risk any interference; they had to ensure every Ovlar was defeated and that Mitena remained securely contained within Cassiopeia's mystical barrier.
To secure final victory, they knew they must seize the Esperanto from Mitena while she remained unconscious and trapped in Hiraya.
Sensing that the path was clear and that Danaya and Terra had succeeded in clearing Lireo of Mine-a-ve soldiers and Ovlars, Cassiopeia gently lowered a section of the forcefield, allowing them to enter and carry out their crucial mission: to take the weapon that had brought so much darkness to Encantadia.
Episode 34
THE TRUE ENEMY REVEALED
Danaya reached out to take the Esperanto from Mitena's still form when suddenly the weapon pulsed with an intense, icy light. Before she could react, a shimmering white owl phased effortlessly through the forcefield and landed gracefully beside Mitena.
In a swirl of frost and magic, the owl transformed into a woman with piercing, cold eyes—Anaca. A faint, arrogant smirk touched her lips as she glanced at the glowing Esperanto, which brightened in response to her presence.
She turned her gaze toward Danaya and Terra, and with nothing more than a sharp, silent look, an invisible force seized them—freezing them in place, helpless and stunned.
From within the dream realm, Cassiopeia sensed a familiar, chilling energy—the same numbing cold that had overwhelmed her before her imprisonment. This was no ordinary power. She realized with dread that this presence—Anaca—was the true source of the darkness that had ensnared her sister.
Struggling to maintain her hold on Mitena's consciousness, Cassiopeia felt the connection slipping as Mitena began to stir awake, pulled back toward reality by Anaca's influence.
Knowing Danaya and Terra were in grave danger, Cassiopeia made a difficult choice. She released her mental grip on Hiraya, allowing Mitena to awaken, and instead channeled all her divine energy into saving the Sang'gres. In an instant, she teleported Danaya and Terra safely back to Adamya.
As the forcefield dissolved, Cassiopeia's focus turned fully to Anaca. Who was this mysterious being who wielded power rivaling that of a Bathaluman? It became clear: Mitena was not the true enemy of Encantadia—she was a pawn. Anaca, cold and cunning, had been pulling the strings all along.
With Danaya and Terra suddenly transported to safety by Cassiopeia's power, Lireo was left vulnerable once more. Though all of Mitena's soldiers had been defeated, the sudden awakening of Mitena—now guided by the sinister influence of Anaca—meant that the liberation of the kingdom remained incomplete.
Without the Sang'gres to lead the resistance, the remaining Diwata defenders and rebel forces in Lireo found themselves quickly overwhelmed. Anaca, coldly strategic, wasted no time in consolidating control. She reinforced Mitena's armies with fresh soldiers summoned from Mine-a-ve.
A renewed sense of fear fell over Lireo. The brief glimpse of hope was extinguished as patrols tightened, curfews were enforced under threat of punishment, and those who had openly celebrated the Sang'gres' return were now forced into hiding or silence.
The kingdom remained under occupation, its spirit unbroken but its freedom once again deferred—a prize still waiting to be won, now under the watchful gaze of a new and even more dangerous enemy.
Episode 35
A QUESTION FOR EMRE
Cassiopeia, her spirit calm yet urgent, reached out with her mind to all the Sang'gres. She warned them of a new and ancient enemy—a being similar having powers similar to a Bathaluman, who now wielded control over her twin sister Mitena and sowed chaos across Encantadia.
She urged them to fortify their kingdoms, strengthen their forces, and prepare the young Sang'gres for a greater war than any they had faced before. Most crucially, she impressed upon them that the four Gems of Power must be united, along with their rightful keepers, if they hoped to stand against this threat.
Expanding her divine awareness further, Cassiopeia sensed that Lira had succeeded in locating the chosen keeper of the Air Gem. She echoed the urgency of finding this young woman before their enemy could.
Guided by vision and compassion to help the Sang'gres, Cassiopeia then gently entered the dreams of Deia—the girl hidden in plain sight. There, she softly revealed glimpses of Deia's true origin: the enchanted tree, her royal bloodline, the mother who had loved and lost her.
Cassiopeia showed her not only the past she had forgotten but also the destiny that awaited—a future where she was needed, wanted, and deeply belonging to Encantadia.
Cassiopeia then turned the full focus of her might and divine insight toward unraveling the mystery of Anaca. How could someone like her of such immense power have remained hidden for so long? Why had she never been spoken of in any legend or prophecy?
The questions burned within her, and though she searched through layers of time and memory, no answers surfaced. Realizing that mortal and divine recollection alike held no trace of this enigmatic being, Cassiopeia understood that only one source could hold the truth: Emre himself.
She resolved to seek an audience with the supreme deity, to inquire directly about the origin and nature of this dangerous and mysterious being.
Episode 36
THE BATHALUMAN'S CHARGE
Emre revealed to Cassiopeia that Anaca's emergence was woven into the very destiny of Encantadia. Her appearance, though disruptive, was necessary—a catalyst meant to unveil long-hidden truths, deliver overdue justice, and ultimately shape the new generation of Sang'gres, leading to the renewal of their world.
Cassiopeia, he explained, held a crucial role in these unfolding events. As a Bathaluman, she was destined to guide the Sang'gres through this pivotal time.
However, Emre also reminded her of the sacred law that governed her divine nature: while she was entrusted with the power to give and nurture life, she was strictly forbidden from taking it. Her strength must lie in wisdom, protection, and guidance—never in destruction.
As Cassiopeia absorbed this profound guidance, a new clarity settled upon her. She understood now that defeating Anaca would not come through direct confrontation, but through strengthening her allies and unveiling the truth behind the mysterious enemy's motives.
Her path forward became clear: she must help the Sang'gres unite all four Gems of Power, guide Deia to embrace her destiny as the Air Gem's keeper, and help them discover the hidden weakness in Anaca's power.
Only through the combined strength of Encantadia's chosen guardians could restore balance, fulfilling the destiny that Emre had foreseen.
Episode 37
A FAMILIAR SPIRIT
Under the leadership of Hara Armea and Sang'gre Mira, the kingdoms of Sapiro and Hathoria began extensive fortifications, strengthening their defenses in preparation for the looming conflict.
Meanwhile, their mothers, Alena and Pirena, together with Adamus and Flamarra, departed for the secluded and mystical land of Asilades. There, far from the reach of their enemies, they would continue the vital training of the next generation of gem keepers. Danaya and Terra, accompanied by Mantuk and Tukman, journeyed to Asilades. Upon her arrival in Asilades, Terra was warmly greeted by Adamus and Flamarra.
Almost immediately, the two young Sang'gres sensed something deeply familiar about her—a comforting presence, a certain grace in her movements, and a light in her eyes that reminded them vividly of their beloved cousin, Gaeia.
Together, the three young Sang'gres would hone their abilities and master their connection to the gems, safely hidden away while preparing for the great responsibility ahead.
Though they understood Terra was her own person, the echoes of Gaeia's spirit within her made their bond form effortlessly.
Training sessions flowed with natural synergy. Adamus, usually reserved, found himself sharing techniques with an eager openness. Flamarra, whose passion often burned like fire, felt a calming balance in Terra's presence.
Together, the three quickly fell into a rhythm of mutual support and growing trust, their connection strengthening with each passing day—as if Gaeia herself had gently guided Terra to them, ensuring they would not face the coming trials alone.
Episode 38
THE SEED OF TRUTH
Cassiopeia, her consciousness flowing like a silent river, forged a deep mental link with Lira and gently guided her awareness toward the hidden enchanted forest—the sacred place where the Air Gem's chosen keeper was destined to be found.
Upon finding the ancient tree, Lira placed her hands upon its bark, and a flood of visions revealed Deia's hidden past—unveiling her true origin as a descendant of a long-lost Sang'gre bloodline from centuries ago.
Cassiopeia confirmed what the visions showed, revealing that she had already communed with Deia in the dream realm of Hiraya. She shared how she had gently shown Deia glimpses of her true heritage, hoping to guide the conflicted young warrior toward acceptance of her destiny.
"The seeds of truth have been planted," Cassiopeia conveyed mentally, "Now we must trust that Deia's own heart will lead her to us when the time is right."
Suddenly, a sharp vision pierced Cassiopeia's awareness: Mitena's forces were advancing on Adamya, and a wave of destruction was imminent. Without delay, she alerted Danaya, Nunong Imaw, Lira, and all within the kingdom of Adamya to prepare for battle.
Through her divine connection, she summoned the Sang'gres, Pirena, Alena and Danaya to return at once, instructing them to join Lira in defending Adamya against Mitena with the combined power of their gems.
Yet even in urgency, Cassiopeia emphasized the greater priority: the young Sang'gres—Flamarra, Adamus, and Terra—must remain hidden and protected at all costs, and until the chosen keeper of the Air Gem arrived to join them, for they were the sacred promise of Encantadia's future.
Cassiopeia knew that to understand their enigmatic new enemy, she must seek deeper wisdom and tapped deeply into her Bathaluman powers. She resolved to journey back to her garden realm, the wellspring of her power, to perform ancient sacred rituals.
There, she hoped to unveil the origins and nature of Anaca—the mysterious being who wielded power akin to a Bathaluman. Understanding every facet of this foe was crucial to devising a strategy to defeat her.
Episode 39
THE BATTLE IN ADAMYA
In Adamya, the threat at their doorstep materialized. Mitena, now fully awakened from the dream prison of Hiraya due to Anaca's subtle but potent interference, stood at the borders of Adamya with a reforged army, ready to unleash her fury.
Unbeknownst to Mitena, her freedom and renewed resolve were not her own triumph, but the calculated design of her hidden manipulator.
From a distant perch, Anaca watched in her snow owl form, her true nature and immense power still veiled from Mitena. She observed the gathering storm with cold satisfaction, the true architect of the conflict waiting patiently in the shadows for her moment to strike.
As the first wave of Mitena's assault thundered against Adamya's faltering defenses, the Sang'gres stood resolute. Pirena, Danaya, and Alena met the onslaught head-on, the raw energy of the Fire, Earth, and Water Gems flaring brilliantly as they clashed against Mitena's icy fury.
The Sapiryan soldiers fought with unwavering courage. Though they were disciplined and valiant, the sheer power and ferocity of Mitena's Ovlars took a heavy toll, and many brave warriors fell in the brutal exchange.
While the battle raged, Lira anchored herself at the kingdom's spiritual core. Channeling her burgeoning abilities, she wove a shimmering, dome-like barrier of protective energy that enveloped Nunong Imaw and all who had sought refuge there.
Her focus was absolute, shielding not only the people but also the revered Hall of Knowledge and its priceless wisdom from the chaos and destruction unfolding just beyond her light.
Understanding the grave risk, the blind sage Nunong Imaw placed his hands upon the Akashic book. He whispered ancient words of concealment, a powerful incantation that caused the legendary tome to shimmer and then vanish from sight and sense, saving the heart and knowledge of their beloved Adamya.
It would remain hidden from friend and foe alike, its vast knowledge secured until the prophesied time when the four chosen keepers were finally united. Only then would it reveal itself once more, to guide the Sang'gres in their final and most crucial hour.
Episode 40
THE SANG'GRES WRATH
The air now crackled with the raw, unleashed fury of the Sang'gres, each channeling their grief into the devastating power of their gems.
Alena's wrath for her slain love, Ybrahim, manifested as a colossal tidal wave summoned by the Water Gem. It crashed over Mitena's forces, washing away ranks of soldiers and drowning them in an unforgiving deluge. Mitena, reacting swiftly, conjured a dome of ice that shielded herself and her nearest Ovlar commanders from the onslaught.
Danaya's rage for Aquil and Gaeia fueled the Earth Gem. She commanded the very ground to tremble and split, swallowing the remaining soldiers and several Ovlars whole.
She then focused her vengeance directly on Mitena, hurling sharpened stones and commanding massive roots to strike at the ice shield. Yet, the power of the Esperanto held firm, protecting its mistress.
Pirena's anguish for Azulan and her Hadiya, Cassandra, erupted in a storm of fire. Using the Fire Gem, she conjured a raging inferno that encircled Mitena and her remaining commanders, then unleashed a searing rain of fire upon them.
Forced into a corner, Mitena encased herself entirely in a thick crystal of ice. But in the crucial moment before the ice sealed completely, a single, cunning root from Danaya's command infiltrated the barrier from beneath the ground, unnoticed.
It wrapped around Mitena's limbs, binding her arms and legs. The sudden restraint broke her concentration, and her protective ice shield shattered.
Exposed and struggling, Mitena could only scream in rage as Pirena's fiery rain consumed her last loyal Ovlars. Pinned to the ground by Danaya's unyielding roots, which tightened their grip with every movement, Mitena lost her hold on the Esperanto, leaving her utterly defeated and disarmed.
Knowing the immense threat the Esperanto and its guardian, Anaca, posed, Danaya had already shared this crucial intelligence with her sisters. They devised a plan to separate the weapon from Mitena.
As the Esperanto lay vulnerable on the ground, Alena acted swiftly, using the Water Gem to conjure a sphere of water that enveloped the weapon, intending to float it safely toward them.
While Pirena and Danaya stood guard, their eyes scanning the skies and the tree line for any sign of the snow owl Anaca, their plan was suddenly and violently undone. Just before the water bubble could reach them, it froze solid into a prison of glittering ice.
A blinding light erupted from within the frozen sphere, and it exploded with devastating force. The concussive blast threw the Sang'gres backward, hurling them to the ground and leaving them momentarily stunned. The attack had not come from Mitena, but from her hidden, far more powerful ally.
