Chapter Text

Third person pov:

Cha siyeon wakes up in Penelope's body after playing the game whole night. She was confused where she was and panicked, she looks at her hand and saw they were smaller than the teenagers one she had and even more panics by standing up and and taking her hair into her hand to look at it. When she sees it was slightly darker pink she becomes more confused and go try to find a mirror to look at herself while trying to calm down.

After a while she ends up finding a shattered glass on the ground. She picked it up not bothering she just scratched herself with it. What she saw shocked her to the point the glass fell to the ground and shattered more than it was.

She fell to the ground while having a (reasonable) breakdown, she muttered to herself "how... how am i ...in her body" tears were on the edge of her eyes.

After she was like that for 30 minutes with so much thoughts and questions in her mind, she decided to try to calm down and look around. She saw that she was in some back alley filled with dirt and trash, after some looking around she found a was into the main street where was a festival at the time. She decided to look around, eventually after being mesmerized bi how beautiful the festival looked she bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry" were the only words she managed to say before looking up to see women with mesmerizing beauty, the person had long and thick red beautiful hair and chocolate brown eyes which complimented her attire, the attire was made of black shirt with brown colored gem at her sleeves which were wide at the end with white inside, the skirt was simple, it was long just to under her knees the skirt was brown with white under it matching the sleeves.

Penelope's pov:

'wow... She's so pretty' she thought and was standing there mesmerized by her beauty until that person spoke "are you okay" as she was saying that she knelt down to Penelope's level, Penelope responded "y-yes" while squeezing her shirt. The woman seemed to notice her scratched hand and took it into her with gentle touch, looking at her with gentle eyes, "let me get this treated".

Third person pov:

The women took her into an inn where they are, she is currently treating her wound. "My name Is Michele, what's yours little girl?" She asked Penelope, to which peny (let's call Penelope peny so it's easier for me) responded "My name Is cha-" she stopped mid sentence for few seconds and then responded again "my name is Penelope.." the woman was now bandaging the wound now "Penelope... What a beautiful name you have." To this response peny blushed a little at the sudden compliment " do you have a place where you can stay?" Michele asked peny now done with the bandage. "N-no... Not really" peny looked away with a little bit sadness in her eyes. "Then how about you go with me... I should use a helpful hand sometimes."

Peny was hesitant but In the end she said yes because she didn't know what to do to avoid her already set faith but this woman give her perfect opportunity how and she wasn't enough confused to decline her and was desperate enough to say yes to the sudden offer the other party decided but she still didn't put her guard down completely

Time skip to them being in a carriage (bc I love timeskips)

Penny was in clean clothes and washed hair. For the first time she had been there she felt full, it has been like one hour she felt hungry but she couldn't ignore the pain that it was so much a relief for her. She was sitting on one side of the carriage and on the other was sitting Michele looking at her satisfied. "So let me explain what I do for work and why I was in a capital" Michele smiled "I was there for a work trip, you see I work in an organization which specializes in special cases. I will tell you everything when we arrive home so you can process it without distraction"

Michele's pov:

'oh I'm so lucky hehehehe, to this I bumped into descendant of the ancient mages. To think she is going with me willingly too, my lucky day' she looked at peny 'not only that but she's beautiful as well, she is soo cute. I wish she was my daughter, I will definitely try to adopt her in the future. But I still need to know what she can do and what is her talent before that' peny looked at Michele from the window so she (Michele) started talking "we will stop at another inn before making it to my home... I have three adopted kids already, please try to get along, even if you wont get along at least try to respect each other and not making it each other's hell there if possible."

Penny's pov:

'she already adopted three kids? She is looking young to handle them, also is she collecting orphans like a hobby?' she responded to Michele "I will try to get along as much as possible." To which Michele responded "you don't need to get along but just try to not make it hell to each other, even ignore each other if needed I don't care as long as it's not something serious like having a full-blown argument which will effect others that much or something worse" penny though to this 'she is completely different from the duke, she doesn't care if get along as long we can be civil with each other'

Timeskip (yes again) to when they arrive at Michele home, also third person pov:

Penny arrived at Michele's home which was massive, she thought it was a family house but it was a whole mansion with beautiful garden. Michele told a maid which worked there to take penny to a guest room while Michele needed to do some final paperwork which she was lazy to do in the capital.

The maid was treating Penelope like a proper host, leading her into the guest room which will eventually become her room, Penny asked some questions to which the maid respectfully replied. When penny got into her room in was already night, the maid got her a sleeping gown and then penny went to sleep.

The duke woke up in his bed, it looked like a normal morning for him but his mind was racing with memories from another timeline where he died at the hands of his beloved daughter Yvonne or should I say Leila who deceived everyone around her and got Penelope killed That afternoon the duke ordered the knights to search for Penelope but he was already late, Penelope was already away from the capital but he didn't know that, the search continued for few weeks. Surprisingly derrick and Reynold remembered the past too and we're involved in the search but didn't find her. They still couldn't accept that and continued to search for her even after few weeks Meanwhile when Yvonne saw that they didn't try to search for her, she was crushed but this time didn't give in to Leila instead accepted the offer of someone to join him in his journey

A week go by and penny gets to know the three kids which were adopted by Michele, the first one she met was a boy named Luke which is 16 years old and despite being adopted is the heir to the estate, he was very welcoming to her and even had dinner with her one where he asked how she settled down. The second one she met was Isla she was 4 years old and played a happy house with dolls with penny. (btw I think Penelope is 7 at the time) The last she met was Amelia which she met when playing with Isla. Amelia is 14 years old and has her guard up against Penelope but is respectful towards her. Today penny woke up in her room because the butler was knocking on the door "miss penelope, are you awake?" Called out the butler to her , to which penny responded with yes and the butler told her that the lady wants to see her, penny figured out how to get out of the bed because she was sleeping with Isla sleeping by her side because she had nightmare tonight, she gets ready and follow the butler to Michele office. The butler knocked at the lady's door to which the lady (Michele) responds to come in, Penelope goes in and see two unfamiliar figures, one was a grown men and the other was a child with pink hair.

Chapter Text

When penny went into the office she was baffled to see Yvonne there and was surprised, she and Yvonne were staring at each other until Michele broke the silence "Penelope this person's name is Yvonne, Yvonne this is Penelope. Hope you two get along because you will share a teacher, which is also why I asked you to come. This young man here is Michael, he will from now on be your teacher so please get along" penny looked at the man named Michael who was wearing a simple and familiar attire to Michele, a black shirt, brown pants and white belt with blueish colored cristal.

"Hi, nice to meet you miss Penelope, I will be teaching you the basics for now and in the future other things." Said Michael who was looking at penny with genuine smile and then continued "as you heard this is Yvonne she will also stay here and have classes with you." Yvonne looked at penny from behind Michael. "Hi, hope we get along" Yvonne then exchanged hand to penny which penny hesitantly took.

(One hour ago)

"Are you sure this is good idea Michele?"
"Yeah I'm sure Michael, how else are they going to meet and have better bond than in the 'past' or 'future' or what it's called"
"The duke today ordered a search for Penelope, it seems he knows" said Michael as he sat down across from her "then it's good thing we got to her first no? or she should have that sad future as always... Poor her"
"We both know you don't have emotions Michele so stop acting sad for her" at this Michele smiled and said"why? It's fun to act like I'm a human again, no, Michael? you do it all the time. Living like as a merchant and going as far as hiring people for your benefit." At her response he frowned "well at least I'm still in the organization, unlike you who left me there"
"Don't act so bitchy about it, the only reason I was there is no longer here so I have no business there, also be happy I didn't betray you like Asher" at her words he deeply breathed to control his emotions. "Oh? did I struck the nail? Why so angry I'm telling facts" she calmly sipped her coffee"also don't think I don't know about Yvonne, it's good you got to her before Leila did but don't hide her from me. It should be good if they know each other sooner than last time no?" At this his frown deepened "I will go for her" as he said this he stand up and go out for Yvonne. Michele simply smiled at this

To the current time:

"I will be teaching you from tomorrow on until you both are fifteen" said Michael. Penny nodded at him and then turned to Michele. "Thank you so much for letting me stay here and giving me education" to this Michele simply answer "no need to thank me after all I'm the one who took you in, it's only natural I take care of you properly" at the answer penny was amazed "I called you into my office to announce you will have classes tomorrow and with Yvonne too, hope you get along. I think you should go so Isha won't get scared for you"

Penny nodded and goes back to her room where Isha is still sleeping. Penny decided to write everything what happened down, she sat down to her desk and took a pencil and paper, then she started writing what happened so far.

Timeskip to the next day:

"Lady Penelope it's time to wake up" were the first words penny heard when she woke up, penny allowed the maid in and the maid brought in her breakfast. After penny ate she did her morning routine such as bathing and letting the maid do her hair. After she was done the maid led her the classroom where should be her first lesson in this world. When sho got there, Yvonne was already there they greeted each other and penny sat next to her. The 'classroom' looked nothing like a class. It was a modest room with table in the middle of the room with couches on both sides of it and shelves with books on the wall with some paintings. not long after penny sat down the 'profesor' came in and sat opposite to them, "good morning, i hope you guys slept well because today will be a long day"

Chapter Text

Michael sat down across from them, "i hope you slepit well because today will be busy day for you two" he crossed his arms. "Today we will be talking about the basics about mana and swords." He sat down “i will also teach you how to read and write, at least get to know how much you know but it should be good if you knew the same things. Today I will be only telling you what we will do this year and how I will teach you.”

He crossed his legs and got comfortable “so this year I will teach you things which nobles or wealthy people know which is reading, writing and counting. We will take it this year slowly and make sure you get to know how to do there’s things” penny was surprised at how he was explaining it so patiently to them but she reminded herself that she is in the body of seven year old kid. She then looked at Yvonne to see her expression at his explanation and she looked exited by hearing that all.

The lesson has gone on until it was evening with the occasional breaks, when the first lesson ended she was going into her room with Yvonne because they have rooms near each other, penny was going first and Yvonne right behind her. Yvonne was smiling and when there weren’t any maids nearby she mumbled something for penny to hear “its glad to meet you in this life sis.” When penny heard that she stopped and Yvonne simply kept going pretending she didn’t said anything

Penny was standing there stunned and confused, her head was flooding with questions. ‘What…how… when… how does she remember?’ Were similar kind of questions, when she calmed herself a little Yvonne has already left, she slowly walked into her room and went to sleep after her night routine.

The next morning was same as the previous day, servant woke her up, she got dressed and had breakfast then went into the ‘classroom’ where Yvonne was already there. That day Michael tested their knowledge and discovered that they both knew how to read, write and count so for the left time of the day they had freer class,they were drawing while Michael was reading out loud the history of the empire and the remaining time was explaining what will they do for the rest of the year which is learning the history, swordsmanship and at the end of the year how to use mana.

When they were going to their rooms penny stopped Yvonne and asked “what did you meant by that yesterday?” Yvonne stopped at that question, stopped and smiled at penny “I think we both know penny…and its good to see you happy” Penny didn’t expect her to be so straightforward and didn’t know what to say “its…good to see you again too…” they went to their rooms and penny did her usual.

The next few days they learned the history and started slowly learning swordsmanship, penny and Yvonne sometimes have conversations and penny learned from her that Yvonne this time remembered everything from past lifes and that she was possessed by an evil goddess. They started to see each other as siblings and sometimes had breakfasts or dinners with the others and have healthy relationships with others too.

Fast forward we skip to when they are both 17:

Penny wakes up to her maid knocking at her door waking her up, “my lady, it’s time to wake up” “come in” the maid comes in and they do their normal morning routine. When the maid is doing her heir she informs penny that today she will have breakfast with her family.

Penny finished getting dressed, her maid carefully arranging the final pins in her hair. "Thank you, Elara," Penny said, her voice a soft, morning hum. "Please inform my family that I'll be down shortly."
Elara curtsied and left the room, the door clicking shut behind her. Penny walked over to her full-length mirror, gazing at her reflection. A decade had passed since she had been reborn, since she had met Yvonne, since she had learned about her past life and her sister's enduring spirit. Her seven-year-old self was a distant memory, replaced by a young woman on the cusp of adulthood. Her once-childish features had matured, her eyes now held a deep, knowing light, and her posture was one of quiet confidence. She looked every bit the noble she had become.

Penny remembered the early days of their training. Michael, their stern but patient teacher, had been true to his word. They had mastered reading, writing, and counting quickly, their past-life knowledge giving them an unexpected advantage. History lessons had been a fascinating journey through the rise and fall of empires, the deeds of ancient heroes, and the treachery of forgotten villains.

Swordsmanship had been the most physically demanding part of their education. Michael had taught them not as a recreational pastime, but as a discipline of life and death. He had pushed them, day after day, until the ache in their muscles was a familiar companion. Penny and Yvonne had sparred countless times, their movements becoming a synchronized dance of attack and defense. They had learned to read each other's intentions, their sisterly bond translating into a seamless flow on the training grounds.

And then there was mana. Michael had waited until they were thirteen, and then he had finally introduced them to the core of all magic. He had explained it as the very lifeblood of the world, an invisible energy that flowed through everything and everyone. He had taught them how to sense it, how to draw it in, and how to shape it. They had navigated the complexities of their new lives together, leaning on each other through the awkwardness of adolescence and the pressures of their noble status. Yvonne had confessed more about her past, about the evil goddess that had once controlled her, and the terror of being a spectator in her own body. Penny took a deep breath, her mind returning to the present. It was time for breakfast, a rare opportunity for the family to gather. Over the past few years, the family had grown closer, and their relationships had flourished. The person who adopted her and Yvonne, Michele , who had been kind but distant in their early years, now shared a genuine closeness with them, proud of the capable young women they had become. Their lives were filled with a comfortable rhythm of training, studies, and family gatherings.

With a final check of her appearance, Penny walked out of her room, her stride purposeful and confident. She was ready for whatever the day held. She was a woman of two worlds, of two lives, and she was finally, truly home.

She arrived to the dining room and sat down at her spot, there were already some ‘siblings’. When everyone arrived with Michele being the last to arrive they started dining while having so conversations with the other, the atmosphere was friendly and chilling and the food was good as always. At 5e end of the breakfast Michele asked Luke,Yvonne and penny to go to her office after breakfast if posible.

Penny and Yvonne are 17 years old and they growed up into pretty and intelligent noble ladies, the high society view them as mysterious people because they never were in the official evens or tea parties. Luke is 26 and will inherit the title from Michele, Luke is known for his calm personality even in difficult situations and is popular with the ladies just because of his good looks and great personality which is in this time rare because other noble men are known for just acting until they are married or their fiance can’t easily break the engagement. Isha is 14 years old, she has private teacher and isn’t interested in gathering instead in swords and is good in swordsmanship, getting her name slowly known in high society for her talent and hardworking. Amelia is 24 years old and is known for her talent with musical instruments and intelligence, she is engaged to marquis, unlike other noble ladies she wasn’t engaged without her consent but was able to choose or to remain single if she wanted.
