Chapter Text
In the quiet rural area of Hometown, there are many interesting faces. From Snowdrake who is known for their very bad snow puns, Temmie an odd but friendly face, to Catti known for her gothic obsessions. Gerson Boom, a famous author and great teacher, Undyne, a young feisty yet determined police student, to a shut-in ghost that no one knows much of. All these faces have a story, but none are as interesting as the stories of December Holiday, Asriel Dreemurr, Noelle Holiday, and Kris Dreemurr. Their stories are very, very interesting.
We start our story in 20xx, where we will now follow Asriel Dreemurr. Asriel wakes up exited as today is one of his favorite days of the week, Saturday, the day he gets to go to church. He always wakes up early, but he takes extra care to wake up on time for church. He gets dressed quickly, puts on his glasses, and is ready to take on the world.
“Kris get up and get ready you’re gonna make us late!”
“I don’t wanna man, church is boring and I'm tired.”
“Well maybe you wouldn’t be so tired if you actually cared about your sleep schedule for once”
“Well unlike you Mr. Perfectpants I actually am more productive at night.”
“Please, all you do is play minecrap and plan pranks on Noelle, how is that productive at all?”
“It’s productive because my pranks always work out, unlike your stinky loser pranks.”
“Ugh fine whatever you win.”
Opposite to Asriel, his little sibling Kris hates church and finds it quite boring. Though they do like one thing about it, every Saturday after church themself, Noelle, Asriel, and December all get to hang out afterwards. So, they have at least had one thing to look forward to. Asriel makes his way downstairs saying good morning to Toriel and Asgore.
“How did you sleep honey? I made pancakes so eat quickly.”
“I slept great mom, and thanks for breakfast. I can’t wait for church today! Is Dess and everyone coming?”
“Well Carol said that Dess was feeling more compliant today, so yes I think everyone will be there.”
“Okay great! I'm gonna grab Kris since they are taking forever.”
After Kris reluctantly gets ready for church, they all head out. Asriel always loved being in the car, even if it lasted for barely a few minutes. They all make it out of the car and head into church, Asriel loved the feeling of being in church, the atmosphere was unbeatable to him. On the other hand, December, Asriel's lifelong best friend, despised church with a passion. Having to wake up early was one thing, having to try to behave and put on a fake persona for 2 hours was another. Plus, the fact she had to wear outfits she would have never touched made it all worse. The only thing that showed any part of her character was the wiffle bat on her back. But she did get one thing out of it, getting to see her best friends right after. Everyone arrives and gets ready for church. Asriel practicing and clearing his throat before going up to sing in the choir. Everyone always loved his singing even if he didn’t think it, was the best. But December especially loved his singing and always dragged him to sing with her whenever she wrote a song. As everyone got ready, the Holidays and Dreemurr exchanged some laughs like they always did.
“Hey Azzy, Krismas! How you guys been”
“Oh, the same, Kris was very frustrating to get out of bed though, probably because they stayed up late playing minecrap-”
Asriel getting cut off by Kris punching they’re shoulder, because Asriel had promised not to tell anyone last night, be it he was already half asleep but still.
“So, how's Elly been? I haven't seen her since we got inside.”
“Oh, she's good, she's just a little nervous performing still. Azzy maybe hold her hand or something for me m’kay?”
“Sure D-Dess, anything for you!”
“Yeah yeah, I know you would do anything for me Azzy.”
December says with a smirk on her face. The goat, embarrassed from his voice cracking and Decembers teasing. Asriel makes sure to give Noelle some reassurement before they began. Now Pastor Alvin gives the go for the choir to start, and they began to sing.
“Heaven knows
The story that we've born
From our hearts,
Of the shadows cutting deep
And the heroes that save us.
Heaven knows
The beauty of the soul
And we weep
To the majesty and
Pray we not forget
The tale of DELTARUNE...”
Noelle’s voice was definitely the shakiest out of everyone's, yet they had the highest pitch there. Noelle was a little inspired to sing in the choir by both December and Asriel, mainly December. Now that they were all finished Pastor Alvin began his sermon. Asriel always liked listening to Alvins Sermons, sometimes imagining himself as the prince from the prophecy and then feeling immediately guilty for thinking something so blasphemous. But he did always enjoy listening to Alvin describe the adventure the 3 heroes would go on. While December on the other hand always liked comparing it to Lord of The Hammer book series Gerson made. She also liked comparing it to her and Noelles favorite games, Dragon Blazers 1 and 2. Always enjoying the times when Kris and Asriel would come over and play all together. Although she did sometimes miss the simplicity of when it was just her and Asriel. But still she loved hanging out with her little group. The town had noticed they were always together that it was almost weird when they weren't. Finally, Alvins sermon was finished and December rushed over to Asriel and Kris to start their hang out.
“So, me and Elly were planning on going over to Ice-e's or something, you guys wanna join?”
“Sure, just let me ask mom and dad.”
“Come on we hang out practically every day you don’t need to ask them anymore.”
“Okay okay fine lets go, but you’re paying this time!”
“Only if you beat me and Elly in a race! Come on!”
December races out the door with Noelle in hand, Noelle holding on for dear life. Caught very off-guard Asriel runs over with Kris to catch up with the sisters. Asgore notices the 2 pairs of antlers running out the holy doors of the church. Followed closely by 2 sets of horns chasing after them.
“Ah Tori, I hope they never change, they somewhat even remind me of us with Rudy and Carol back in college.”
“It is quite funny how they all take after us, Asriel even freezes up the same way you did around me, with Dess.”
“Well let's just hope he also inherited the Dreemurr charm as well.” *Points out finger guns*
Asgore does with a smug face on it that Toriel can’t help but chuckle at. As we return to Asriel and Kris, they have just made it to Ice-e's, but they are obviously out of breath and beaten by the Holiday sisters. Asriel’s upset because he can never beat December in anything physical related. Whether it be sports, a race, or even an arm wrestle, she just always seemed to have the advantage. But he did always have the advantage when it came to academics, becoming notorious for being the smartest in Mr. Booms class. While at the same time December became notorious for constantly cheating off Asriel. They were always known for being inseparable, always doing assignments together (mostly Asriel), going out to recess together, and always sitting next to each other during lunch. Wherever one was, so was the other, and their siblings seemed to inherit that trait as well. Just like now in Ice-e's, where December and Noelle are already ordering pizza.
“We’re gonna have a large half meat lovers pizza and half pepperoni, right Elly?”
“Mm hmm” The young fawn responds.
“Oh, Elly look, the losers finally arrived, you guys gotta pay for everything btw”
*huff huff huff* “Dess- that’s not- fair-” The goat says severely out of breath.
“You guys got- got a head start”
“Baby loser says what”
“What?-” Asriel says before realizing that he’d fallen for the oldest trick in the book.
Asriel reluctantly takes out his wallet and gives the employee $20 bill. Asriel and Kris then get their own pizza, Asriel getting plane cheese and Kris getting a everything pizza, including anchovies. Finally, they all sit down outside to eat.
“So Dess, you finally came to church for once today”
“Yeah yeah, don't expect me to come more though, I just came today so I could see Elly perform. Speaking of Elly, you did great out there, a little better than Azzy even. Especially for your first time.”
“Thank you Dess, but I still like your singing more than mine.” Noelle says with a slight blush of embarrassment.
“You know Azzy, you’ve never really sang with us before, wanna come over today so we can sing some songs? Bring Krimas along as well so Elly and them can hang out”
“Uhm okay! Oh, didn’t your mom also get you a new violin recently? How’s that been going?”
“Oh, that piece of garbage? I broke it like 3 months ago, threw it down the stairs.”
“What!? Why’d you do that?”
“Cause mom is always trying to make me play some classy stuff instead of what I want to play.”
“But still Dess isn't that extreme?”
“You know I'm all about extreme Azzy-”
“Not as extreme as Ice-e" The young human cuts in
“Huh what are you talking about Kris?” Noelle says very confusingly
“You know, Ice-e, the mascot for the pizza place, he’s real. And he’s wayyy more extreme than Dess.” Kris says with a smug look on their face.
“Okay, then tell us how Ice-e more extreme than me Krismas?” The deer says preparing for another one of Kris’s shenanigans.
“Well for one, he eats children, two, he’s the face of a pizza place, way cooler than you Dess.”
“W-WHAT!?” Noelle shrikes, her naiveness causing her to believe most of the pranks Kris pulls.
“Yeah Elly, he eats kids if they under 10 if they don’t try EVERYTHING from the menu” Kris says, knowing very well Noelle is picky.
“Thats not true! No one would eat kids just for not eating off a menu!”
“It's true Elly I swear! Remember Jerry, Terry’s younger brother, he didn’t eat off the menu and got EATEN”
“Wha-what?! But everyone said that they went to live with their dad?”
“They were lying Elly, I saw it happen too.”
Noelle starting to feel frightened. Now putting together that they actually dont really remember seeing Jerry leave at all. Due to this revelation Noelle’s eyes began to swell up with tears in fear.
“Stop that Kris you’re scaring Elly!” December says in an attempt to stop Kris.
“Stop what? I'm just telling her the truth.” They said with a mischievous grin akin to The Grinch.
“If you don’t stop, tell the truth, and apologize to Elly for scaring her, I'll hit you with my bat. I'm warning you.”
“KRIS SHE’S SERIOUS JUST BACK OFF.” Asriel said while gritting his crooked teeth.
“I’ll be fine though Elly, I’ve eaten everything off the menu already. You though... you might have to watch out at night, and not because I’ll be under your bed-”
Kris was cut off as they felt the pain of a bat being slammed into their face. So quick they didn’t have time to react. Though when they got back up, they began to run as fast as their little legs could take them. They start giggling immensely as December runs behind them quickly trying to hit them again. “APOLOGIZE TO ELLY NOW!” she screamed, as Kris quickly responded “NEVERRRRR!”. She ran after them loony tunes style, running back and forth to catch them. This lasted around 5 minutes, by then Kris had collapsed to the floor. Finally yelling in a panicked voice “OKAY OKAY! IM SORRY ELLY, I MADE IT UP! ICE-E ISNT REAL AND HE WON'T EAT YOU” The deer finally happy to get Kris to give in sits back down and inhaled her last slice. Kris, now having a few bruises, makes a note not to prank Noelle in front of December. Noelle and Asriel both giggling from the situation. Now, they quickly finish up their food and get out of the Ice-e's. They all decide to go to Noelle and December’s house. It being by far the most beautiful home in all of Hometown. As they walk down to the Holiday residence, they seem to walk down in a strange way, they almost walk in a single file line. December in front, Asriel next, Noelle, and then Kris. Almost as if they’re in a video game. They’re all not sure why they walk in this order, or in a single file line in the first place, but it's a habit the 4 all picked up. Anyways, they make it to the Holiday front gate, the enormous gate the size of 5 Kris’s. Unfortunately, the Holiday sisters realize they had left their keys with their mother. Luckily though, December had a solution. Somehow December was able to easily climb the gate and unlock it from the other side. A skill that she uses much to her mother's dislike. And as she opens the gate letting Asriel in first, in an exaggeratedly fancy way she says to him
“Ladies first~”
“Hey, I'm not a lady!”
“Sure you aren't Azzy”
The 2 8-year-olds giggling immensely from the embarrassment Asriel is going through right now. As they walk down the pavement to the Holiday Manor the Dreemurr children still take in this massive sight despite being here nearly a million times. They enter the house, and December has to force herself too not say “Welcome to our ho-ho-home" in retaliation to her mother. Though Noelle couldn’t help herself and still introduced them to the house like that.
“Ugh Elly don’t you think it's a little weird how mom has us introduce guests like that every time?! I mean, I guess at like a big family gathering but no one has come here in ages.”
“Well, I dunno I think it’s nice, plus I mean, it fits with the whole Christmas theme.”
“Elly, no offense, but you think everything is nice, except Kris. And the movies I watch.” She says before getting an idea for what to do that day.
“Speaking of! Guys we should watch the new Bloodcrushers movie dad got us!
“Bloodcrushers? Dess isn’t that a little extreme to show them? Well, Noelle at least.”
“Yeah, sure princess, we all know it’s you that doesn’t want to watch it. Every time we watch a remotely scary movie you crap your pants.”
“What n-no! I’ve watched tons of scary movies, remember when I watched Bloodcrushers: Revenge with you.”
“With hands covering your eyes yeah. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you not get frightened at a Bloodcrushers movie. Listen Azzy it’s fine if you don't want to watch the movie with us. We already know how much of a chicken you are“ She said under her breath. Asriel determined to prove himself not a scaredy cat steps up to the challenge of watching the new Bloodcrushers. Albeit he will most likely fail, he is still determined to do so.
“So, which one do you guys wanna watch? Dad got the full set from 20xx. We got Bloodcrushers 5: Return of the Severed Heart, Bloodcrushers: The Frost Killer, Bloodcrushers: The Return of the Roaring Dragon, and Bloodcrushers: Eternal Night”
“Oh oh! Dess can me and Kris pick!?” The young fawn spiked up excitedly
“Yeah of course, what’ja have in mind?”
“Bloodcrushers: The Frost Killer!” The two children said in unison
“Okay okay you two, now that we got the movie all we need now are some snacks. Azzy come help me chose some” She rushes Asriel so they can get to the movie quicker. Though when they enter the kitchen Asriel notices something weird. He’s confused at the sight of a katana laying above the top of the kitchen counter.
“Uhm Dess?”
“Yeah Azzy?”
“Is that a katana in your kitchen?”
“Oh, yeah it is, it's my mom's though, she found it in the basement and wanted to put it up.”
“Why does she own a sword in the first place??”
“Well, when she was in like college, I think, she used to take sword class lessons. Apparently, she was really good at it. She even got some awards for it.”
“Oh that's really cool! You know my favorite type of sword is the German l0ngsword because it is one of the most affective and was even the inspiration for shadowsabers in Delta Wars” The goat would continue to nerd out and info dump for around 5 minutes while December looked for snacks.
“Y’know Azzy you just might be the biggest nerd in all of Hometown. Maybe even the country.”
“Well at least I'm not getting in trouble every other day like you” he said sticking out his tongue in rude manner. She responded in the same way. It was kind of their thing. They finally leave the kitchen seeing the 2 eager children waiting to watch the newest horror movie available.
“I just got an idea Azzy, since you wanna prove yourself not a scaredy cat how about we have a challenge?”
“Uhh sure, what is it?”
“Whoever can last the longest watching the marathon without getting scared gets to pick a challenge for the loser, and the loser has to go with it.”
“Hmmmm, what are you planning Dess?”
“Oh me? Nothing really.” She was, in fact, planning something. But Asriel wanting to lose title of 2nd biggest scaredy cat, 1st was Noelle, decided to accept the challenge. He wasn’t exactly sure what he would make December do if he won, maybe study with him for once, but he was ready to prove himself fearless. And so, they started their horror movie marathon. The kids quickly put The Frost Killer in the DVD compartment, and the intro began. Big bold letters in an 80’s font appeared on the screen. The music was eerie and filled with ice sound effects you could probably find online for free. It started off where the last movie, Bloodcrushers: Control from The Heart. It was more than your average horror movie, because it was based off the horror novels of Lord of the Hammer, made by Hometowns very own Gerson Boom. While these novels did not take off the same way Lord of the Hammer did, they were found very fond of by an upcoming producer named Tim Burton. He actually traveled all the way to Hometown in 19xx, back then there were 5 buildings at most. When he got there, he begged Mr. Boom to let him create the movies, and he agreed, on one condition. His name was to not be credited at all. He said to the young man “I’ve already made Lord of The Hammer, let this be your story to tell byah byah byah!” And once Burton got permission, he went straight to work, and it was an immediate hit. Cementing his movies into the horror movie hall of fame. But because they were based off Lord of The Hammer, they were also based of the prophecy of DELTARUNE. Making this a movie series that Toriel deemed “Absolutely Blasphemous!” Being banned in the Dreemurr household completely. Meaning the only time, they could watch this was at the Holiday residence, making this even more frightening to Asriel hoping that his mother wouldn’t burst in and catch him and Kris watching this. But nonetheless he continued to watch the movie. The last movie was scary enough, a person getting controlled by their own heart was scary, but going around attacking everyone and no one stopping them was what really got to Asriel. Though his sibling loved this movie, they loved any horror movie. But in this movie, the main character from the last having their heart control not only them, but the ice mage too. Noelle had a strange liking for horror movies, not particularly enjoying getting scared from them, but from feeling almost a sense of comfort for when December would try to cheer her up. She also had a love for the Ice mage character, maybe because it was the only snow themed character but still. Asriel watched as the movie started off semi normal, nothing scary happening until they made it to the part where the person arrived at The City of the Shinning. A city filled with lights, technology, and secrets thrown away. Asriel knew very well what should be happening. Having studied the DELTARUNE start to finish 100 times. It was supposed to be an adventure of fun, love, and redeeming a rogue queen. But this story was different. The Heart forced the Ice Mage to freeze everyone. Their bodies encased in a clear, blue, shining layer of ice. The movie was so realistic it looked like they were still alive while frozen. Or maybe it was so bad the effects couldn’t make them look dead at all. Regardless it was still a frightening sight for the goat. He was surprised he had been able to make it this far without a squeal, though Noelle could not say the same. Getting scared at the very first jumpscare. They watched as the Heart forced the Ice Mage to kill everyone. While the Ice Mage was doing so, it seemed to be killing them as well. Making them seem so pale that you would think they’re dead. This is what really freaked Asriel out, the appearance was just so unnerving he could barely watch. Covering his eyes with his hands, but Dess pulled his hands off forcing him to watch.
“Hey no cheating! You gotta watch the full thing!”
Asriel reluctantly pulled his hands down and continued to watch. The Ice Mage continued to get stronger, and stronger as the Heart called it. This was by far the scariest movie out of them all. But he was able to push through it and finish the movie without, visibly at least, getting scared. By the time they got to the last movie, somehow Asriel had not shown any physical reaction at all. This might be due to the fact that he had been petrified after the third jumpscare in the first movie. But he was somewhat intrigued a few movies in. With the ending not being one he expected, where the Heart kills both the Person and Ice Mage. This was something he had not expected at all and was completely different from the DELTARUNE prophecy he knew. He then realized that he actually won! He finally won against one of Decembers challenges for once! He was ecstatic, well, as ecstatic as he could be in this moment of paralyzation. When suddenly
“BOO!” Kris yelled from behind Asriel.
“AGHHHH!!!” The goat finally let out the fear he had been trying to suppress for hours.
“KRIS WHAT IN THE ANGEL IS WRONG WITH YOU” It was not very often that Asriel would react this way. Almost never raising his voice unless he tried to be the loudest on choir. Kris was slightly taken back by how their brother yelled at them, before immediately bursting into laughter. Then everyone else immediately bursted into laughter. Even Noelle, who quickly apologized after.
¨So I guess that means you lose huh fahaha!" December said with a smug look on her face.
¨Wh-what!? I didn’t get scared at the movie though????”
“We never said you had to get scared from the movie to lose, just while watching it. And the credits are still playing so technically, you lost bozo!” December said hitting Asriel in the arm playfully. Asriel wanted to argue but yielded and accepted defeat.
“So what are you gonna make me do?” Asriel said with very visible fear on his face.”
“Wellll, I was thinking of putting your voice to good use, since you’ve only used it for church so far.”
“Oh that's all? Just singing? Thats hardly a dare Dess.” Asriel said, not knowing the scheme she was making.
“Oh well, it's not gonna be one of your boring church songs, it's gonna be one of MY songs.”
Asriel now realized that December was going to make him do something (that according to his mother was) very unholy. He had heard some of December's music, when he asked which she was listening to one day last November. To get an idea of what music cd to get her that Christmas. Even though he got her a religious ska cd, he still remembered listening to those songs and being petrified by the number of curses in them. Even more curses than he had heard Pizzapants say when he was losing against Asriel in a gaming session. And even MORE than that one incident in with Kris about a year ago. Nonetheless, saying he was scared of what songs December would make him sing was an understatement.
“Uhmmm so uh what songs did you have in mind?”
“Well at first I was thinking of making you sing a MCR song, but I think that's too emo for you. So I’m gonna make you sing a song I wrote instead!”
“Oh that’s awesome actually! But with what instrument? You said you threw your violin down the stairs, and you also said before you forgot how to play the piano. So what are you gonna play it on?”
“Well, don’t tell anyone, especially not mom, but I bought a guitar the day after I broke the violin!”
“You bought a guitar?? With what money?? I thought you didn’t get an allowance cause you barely do chores.”
“Well, I’ve been taking a little money every now and then from my mom. It’s fine though, she clearly has more than enough anyways.”
“But where’d you get it from? Theres no stores to buy instruments anywhere here?”
“Well normally I would’ve gotten it online, but mom would have seen the order. So instead, I bought it off someone here.”
“Who?” The goat asked, trying to stall singing whatever song December made, but also to listen to her as much as he can.
“Guess.”
Asriel had no clue as almost no one in town played an instrument. Besides her and Kris, they were the only musicians Asriel knew personally. But wait, Asriel thought, didn’t Father Alvin play the organ? Maybe he played the guitar too?
“Was it Father Alvin? He’s the only one who can play an instrument besides you and Krissy.”
“Close, it was actually Mr. Gerson! I talked with him after class one day, and he talked about how he used to play a variety of instruments. Said he also wanted to be rockstar before becoming an author. And he asked me if I wanted one of his and duh, I wanted one. So I bought it! It’s in really good condition too.”
“Well now I wanna hear you play! Go grab it so we can sing together already!”
December quickly ran upstairs to her room where she brought down her recently acquired guitar. It was a miracle her mother hadn’t heard her play it, maybe cause December always knew when to stop playing and where to hide it. Strict parents, or well, a strict parent makes a good liar. When she came back Asriel saw the girl holding a very unique looking guitar. It was a fully orange guitar with yellow strings and yellow undertones on each side. The guitars Asriel had seen were very extreme and typically electric. The first time Asriel had ever seen a guitar is when December had shown that one music video on Tenna, Asriel and Kris’s TV. But that one was white, x shaped, and being played by topless alligators on screen. December wasn’t allowed at their house for a good month. It seemed almost out of character to have a guitar like this. But nonetheless Asriel was still intrigued at the sight of it, never seeing one up close all his life. Both Kris and Noelle were amazed at the guitar and patiently waited for December to start playing.
“So which of your songs did you pick?”
“Well-” December takes out and old folded piece of paper, with 6 vertical lines and little numbers on them. It was labeled “Draft Song: Raise up Your Bat!”
“After about a month of doing online tutorials, I tried writing my own scales and stuff. It took a while, but I think I came up with something pretty rad. Here’s the lyrics too, it's pretty toned down from the first ideas so you should sing this with no problem.”
The goat read through the lyrics with his big glasses and was kind of amazed by her writing skills. Still locked in his church boy mentality he couldn’t look past the inappropriate mention of demons. But maybe this time he could put that away just to have fun with December.
“Okay you got the lyrics down?”
“Y-yeah I think I got them down.”
“Alright then, Elly, Krismas, prepared to be amazed!”
December began with the chords, a sound that absolutely would have been 10 times better on electric, but still unique and different from the music in town. Asriel prepared himself to start singing, clearing his throat and giving it his all.
“WHEN THE DEMON HEART IS CRYING
AND THE BLOOD IS GUSHING BRIGHT
RAISE UP YOUR BAT FOR THE BURNING FIGHT
WHEN YOUR HOPE IS SLOWLY DYING
AND YOUR FUTURE'S LOST ITS RIGHTS
RAISE UP YOUR BAT AND FACE THE FRIGHT
LET'S KNOCK EM DEAD INTO THE NIGHT!”
Asriel was shocked to say the least that his voice could even sound like this. He was so used to being apart of the choir that any other genre sounded foreign. December continued with the guitar solo and the children sat jaw dropped. Kris had always wanted to find a way to listen to this music without getting in trouble ever since December introduced them to it. And Noelle, having heard Christmas music 24/7 all year, it was a refresher to hear something new, even if it was a little violent.
“Come follow me into the dark
With your heart as the ark
Which shall shine you the way
Because I'm with you in the dark
With your heart as my mark
Which shall guide you the way,
through the waves
Come follow me into the dark
With your heart as the ark
Which shall shine you the way
Because I'm with you in the dark
With your heart as my mark
Which shall guide you the way,
through the waves”
Kris felt very inspired in this moment. They had already seen December as a big role model for them, taking her mannerisms and attitudes. But this song felt partially like it was written with themself in mind.
“WHEN THE DEMON HEART IS CRYING
AND THE BLOOD IS GUSHING BRIGHT
RAISE UP YOUR BAT FOR THE BURNING FIGHT
WHEN YOUR HOPE IS SLOWLY DYING
AND YOUR FUTURE'S LOST ITS RIGHTS
RAISE UP YOUR BAT AND FACE THE FRIGHT
LET'S KNOCK EM DEAD INTO THE NIGHT!”
Asriel sang loudly. His lungs empty without air, but his mind filled with a new sense of rebellious nature and passion. Not thinking about the consequences of him singing something like this. When he finished the 2 children erupted into cheers and claps. And very unsuccessful attempts at whistling leaving slobber on their chins.
“Man Azzy! I didn’t think you had it in you to sing like that! Usually you’re too much of a wimp to even listen to something like this.”
“Well yeah but what about your guitar skills!? You started what? 2-3 months ago, and you’re already amazing! N-not that you weren’t good at other instruments either.”
A blush appearing on the rowdy girl’s face.
“Thanks man, nice knowing you guys liked it so much. All we need now is a name for whatever duo we are.”
Everyone paused and thought for a while of what too name themselves. Until suddenly a louder deep voice said-
“How about Blood Crushers The Band? Yall seemed to watch the whole series already bahaha!” It was Asgore, with Rudy standing right next to him.
“DAD?! MR. DREEMURR!? HOW LONG HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN THERE?? DID MOM HEAR? PLEASE SAY SHE DIDN’T.”
“Woah woah calm down kiddo, Torri and Carol are still outside talking. Now if you run up and hide that guitar, along with those movies, me and Asg won’t say anything to your mothers.”
The kiddos all nodded in agreement and quickly got everything hidden, Kris and Noelle hiding the movies and Asriel helping December stash away her, not so secret anymore, guitar.
“Thanks dad and Mr. Dreemurr! You guys are the best.”
“Course Dessy, me and Asg are going to get the barbeque started. Don’t get up to anything else tonight, okay?” Rudy said with his signature wink.
And with the kids finally taking in all the fun they had that day. They all laugh hysterically, enjoying the time they spent on this, technically, uneventful Saturday. Enjoying time together.
