Dear diary...
Since we don't know each other, let me introduce myself.
My name is Denki, Denki Kaminari, even though many call me an idiot, electric boy, or Yammingway, the latter because of my quirk.
I'm seventeen and a second-year student at UA, the most prestigious school for heroes in Japan.
You see, diary, I know the word "prestigious."
Maybe I'm not as stupid as my classmates say.
I don't feel like wasting any more time telling you about my life, because there are only a few minutes left until lunch and then I have to go back to class.
The only thing you need to know is that I'm feeling bad.
A lot has happened in the past year.
The class has changed, and so have I, and I think I'm depressed.
Anyway, if you could talk, diary, you'd wonder why I'm writing this.
The answer is easy.
Today is March 1st, and I, Kaminari Denki—I'm writing this so no one can argue otherwise this time—am seriously considering giving up everything, so I've decided that if this situation doesn't change by the end of this month...
I kill myself.
It was nice to share this with you. I like to think you asked, you know, you'd be the first to care.
Anyway, I have to run now or I'll get a scolding from Professor Aizawa, and trust me, it's really scary.
