Work Text:
“Do you guys think getting my partner flowers for our six month is lame or…?” Ravi asks the group.
Buck blinks in surprise. “Since when have you been in a relationship?”
Ravi then leans over to whisper something to Hen. It must be some sort of joke, because they both burst into giggles.
When Buck turns to Eddie, he sees him furrowing his brows in confusion, similar to Buck himself. Spotting Buck looking at him, he shrugs when he sees Buck’s questioning glance, wishing for any information as to what’s so funny.
“To answer your question,” Chimney chimes in, ignoring whatever they were gossiping about. Although, given his grin, Buck thinks he knows the general topic of the joke, despite not hearing it. “It depends on your partner. Some people don’t like receiving flowers.”
“How could someone not like receiving flowers?” Buck asks, a little flabbergasted.
He’s always loved giving and receiving flowers. Going to the store, and getting to pick a bundle from all the pretty colours to give someone he cares about is such an enjoyable feeling. But it certainly doesn’t beat receiving flowers. Especially as someone like him, who doesn’t get that often. Most people think just women want flowers, but he likes pretty things too.
“Maybe they could be allergic,” Hen offers. “Is your partner allergic?”
“Uh, no,” Ravi answers. “At least I don’t think so?”
Turning to Eddie, Buck asks, “You agree with me right? That receiving flowers is pretty great?”
“Well, I’ve never been on the receiving end, but I don’t think it’s exactly all that special,” Eddie replies. “Surely you could think of something a little more personal.”
Buck pouts. For two reasons. One, because what does Eddie mean that he’s never been given flowers? Two, because Eddie didn’t just blindly agree with him.
“Nobody has ever given you flowers?” Buck questions, raising a brow at him.
“Nope.”
“Why?”
Eddie scoffs at him. “I don’t know. It’s not like I go around asking anyone why they haven’t.”
And it’s at this moment that Buck decides he’s going to make up for never having given his best friend flowers until now. Eddie will learn to love it whether he likes it or not.
“So is the consensus yay or nay on the flowers?” Ravi jumps in to ask again.
“I say yes,” Buck answers before someone can give opposing opinions. “Just maybe add something a little more personal along with it. But in general people like receiving flowers.”
“I’m actually going to agree with Buck here,” Hen chimes in, and Buck smiles proudly at himself.
Before anyone could give anymore input, the alarm goes off, sending them off to a call.
I.
The call was a long one. It took them several hours to put out the fire at an apartment building that was so far from up to code that he’s sure there will be someone going to jail for leaving it as such.
When they’ve arrived back at the station they’re all exhausted. Probably to the degree that they’ll eat something quick and easy before crashing in the bunk room for hopefully the whole night.
Stepping off of the truck, Buck watches as Eddie hits the showers first, and he decides that he’s going to use this time to start on his plan to start giving Eddie enough flowers for him to make up for the lack of doing so previously.
So, after he’s taken off his turnouts, he finds himself wandering outside. He can’t quite run to a flower shop right now, because they’d be closed. Also he’d get in trouble if he missed a call while he was out. Though he has a feeling that Chimney took them offline long enough for them to rest after all that chaos.
They’re not exactly in an area that’s flooded with flowers, but he’s sure if he walks around enough, he’ll be able to find at least one to pick for Eddie.
It does take him longer than he thought it would, but he finds one single stray flower growing through a crack in a sidewalk. It’s small and white, and Buck doesn’t know what it’s called– He makes a mental note to google different kinds of flowers later– but it’s beautiful. So, he pulls it out of the ground with a grin before he starts the trek back to the station, realising he walked much further away than he thought he did.
When he steps back inside, he spots Eddie immediately. He’s currently shoving something into his locker.
Holding the flower behind his back with his right hand, Buck makes his way over with a slight skip in his step, despite the tiredness growing inside him.
As he walks into the glass locker room, it catches Eddie’s attention, and he looks up at him. He does a once over of Buck before pinching his brows together in confusion. “Whatcha got there, bud?”
Buck smiles even wider before bringing his arm around to show off the lovely white flower to Eddie.
“And now you’ve officially been gifted a flower,” Buck says, holding out the flower for Eddie to take. “I picked it out for you with lots of love, so you have to appreciate it.”
Eddie reaches out to take it from Buck, smiling softly as he inspects it. There’s a subtle blush to his cheeks as well.
“Thanks, Buck.” It comes out sounding incredibly fond. “Is that where you disappeared to?”
Buck nods. “Needed to make sure you didn’t go another day without being given some flowers. It’s not quite as pretty as you, but that’d be hard to find,” Buck flirts with a wink. It’s cheesy, but he’s exhausted, and it’s getting late. He doesn’t even normally find himself flirting with Eddie, but he’s realising that’s dumb. Eddie deserves to be told he’s pretty while receiving flowers.
How is it possible that nobody spoiled Eddie like this before?
Shaking his head with a fond smile gracing his face and an even more present blush, Eddie tells him, “You’re ridiculous, Buck.”
Buck then follows him as he grabs a glass from upstairs, fills it with a little bit of water, and places the flower inside. And when Buck goes to Eddie’s house a couple days after that shift, he spots it sitting in the middle of the coffee table in his living room.
It makes Buck feel oh so full of joy at the fact that Eddie clearly liked it.
II.
It’s been about a week since Buck first gave Eddie that flower. Which was a matilija poppy, he’s come to learn. And he’s just learned that Eddie had to throw away the wilted flower this morning. It sort of bums Buck out. He sort of wishes that he could magically make that one last forever, because that one was special.
Alas, he cannot.
However, he can provide Eddie with a flower that’s a little more permanent. Maybe he’ll even hang it up on the fridge jokingly. Which would make sense once you knew Buck was planning on drawing a flower to give to Eddie this time.
While everyone is doing chores, like Buck is definitely supposed to be doing, he’s scrounging through Chimney’s office for a piece of paper and something to draw with. It ends up being a pack of sharpies he’s found, along with paper he stole from the printer.
It takes longer than he’d like to admit to decide what kind of flower to draw for Eddie, but he ends up settling on drawing the same kind he gave to him a week ago. His first attempt was something to laugh at, that’s for sure. The second one was not much better, but it was okay enough.
Eddie deserves more than okay though. So Buck spends the next hour doodling the same kind of flower over and over again until he finally draws one that makes him look at it with surprise. “I think this is actually pretty good,” he whispers to himself.
“What’re you doing in my office?” Chimney questions, looking at Buck with suspicion.
“Only important things,” Buck assures, picking up his stack of papers before walking past a confused Chimney.
He tosses all the drawings he’s far from proud of before seeking out Eddie, finding him in the supply closet actually working.
“Where have you been?” Eddie asks with a pouty expression. “I’ve had to do half the inventory by myself.”
A wide smile graces Buck’s face as he holds up the paper for Eddie to see. “I was drawing this for you. Now you can keep this flower forever, ‘cause it won’t die on you.”
A fond chuckle comes out of Eddie. “You’re sweet, Buck. Thank you.”
“Do you like it?” Suddenly he’s feeling a little insecure. This is not the type of gift he tends to give. Probably because he’s so far from being an artist. “I know it’s not exactly well drawn.”
“It’s perfect, Buck,” Eddie assures. “I love it.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He gives Buck a very reassuring smile. “Now do you wanna help me finish this?” He holds out the clipboard, knowing just how much Buck loves getting to wield one.
Buck takes the clipboard from him, immediately jumping into ordering Eddie around.
III.
“You’re what?” Buck asks, blinking in surprise.
Eddie lets out an anxious chuckle. “I’m gay, Buck.”
Standing there, still in shock, Buck tries to rewrite everything he knows about Eddie in his head. “Okay…” He nods, mostly to himself. “Gotta admit, wasn’t expecting to hear that when I walked into work this morning.”
“Gotta admit, wasn’t planning on telling you today,” Eddie sheepishly confesses. “It sort of just slipped out.”
He looks incredibly nervous, and Buck doesn’t want him to feel like that, so he smiles soft and kind. “I’m proud of you, y’know? I feel like you’ve let yourself really start allowing yourself be happy lately, and this is only going to further that. I really want you to be happy, Eddie. You’re someone I think deserves it far more than most.”
Internally though, he’s sort of freaking out. Because if Eddie isn’t straight, then that totally fucks with all the logic he’s used to justify their relationship being just platonic. It’s going to take a lot of sorting in his brain to justify how he isn’t in love with Eddie now.
“I appreciate you lots, Buck,” Eddie tells him with a shy grin.
Buck then holds his arms open to invite Eddie in for a hug. He accepts the offer, hugging Buck tight until the alarm goes off, calling them to duty.
As they arrive at the house fire, Chimney sends Buck and Ravi inside to do a sweep of the place. They believe it’s empty, because apparently the neighbour told dispatch that the family left for vacation a few hours ago. Which does make him think this was a case of an appliance being left on that shouldn’t have.
They start upstairs, making quick, but safe movements to check each room efficiently, which is definitely where the fire started, because it’s much more engulfed in flames up there. Then they make their way downstairs, once again working together to double check it was in fact empty. And after they radio that nobody was found, Chimney instructs them to make their way outside.
As they’re on their way out, Buck bumps into a table, knocking something over. On instinct, he grabs it to fix it before realising it’s just going to burn in the fire. That’s when he notices what it was. It was a vase, which he could tell by the feel of it mostly, because it’d had started getting quite smokey inside.
A quick decision is made, and he pulls the flowers out before finally following Ravi outside.
“I thought I was going to have to go back in and drag you out,” Ravi tells him, sounding more like a complaint. “What took– Why are you holding flowers?”
Buck shrugs, finally looking down at the flowers he grabbed. It’s a colourful bundle of daisies. “Didn’t think they deserved to burn.”
He sees Ravi shaking his head at him, but he ignores it to walk over to Eddie, who was on his own, spraying the outside of the house. He taps on his shoulder to gain his attention. Eddie then looks over at him, still pointing the hose towards the house.
“A coming out gift,” Buck tells him, shouting a little so that Eddie could hear over the loud sounds surrounding them, holding out the flowers. “They’re rainbow. Which is perfect, ‘cause gay.”
Buck easily spots the grin that took over Eddie’s expression.
“I’m pretty sure you should be helping put out the fires, Buck,” Eddie teases. “Not flower picking.”
Buck just smiles at that. “I’ll leave them on your seat in the truck,” he tells him before rushing over to grab a hose to help. He would rush more, but this house is pretty doomed already. It’s definitely going to need to be fully rebuilt once this is all said and done. And it's far enough away from the neighbours house so as to not set it on fire.
So, basically, seeing that smile on Eddie’s face at the gesture was far more important to him. Don’t tell Captain Chimney that though.
It takes a while longer before the fire is fully out, but once it is, and they’re all packed up, they move to head back to the station. As they go to get into the fire engine, Buck watches Eddie spot the flowers, grinning to himself as he picks them up and holds them as he sits down.
Ravi gives Buck a knowing look that Buck chooses to ignore. Mostly because he’d rather watch Eddie carefully wipe ash off of the flowers Buck gave him.
IV.
“Do you wanna watch the next episode of Hell’s Kitchen?” Eddie asks.
They’ve been watching the show together lately, slowly making their way through each season. Buck, however, got a little too curious one night, and finished the season they were on. Listen, he just needed to know who won.
He can’t let Eddie know that though. So, he says, “Ridiculous question. Of course I do.”
However, it doesn’t take long before Buck shouts out a comment that made it abundantly clear that he already knew what happened.
“Did you google who one?” Eddie asks, looking mad, but playfully so.
“Uh… Not quite,” Buck admits.
Eddie’s eyes shoot open in surprise. “You watched ahead!” He accuses truthfully so.
Shrinking in on himself a little, Buck gives him an apologetic grin. “Sorry.”
“How could you?” Eddie asks, amping up the drama in his voice. “The betrayal.” He holds a hand to his chest as he lets out a playfully annoyed sigh.
“Eddie, I’m sorry,” Buck repeats. “I just had to know. It was keeping me up at night. You didn’t want me not getting good sleep, did you?” He gives Eddie his best apologetic puppy dog expression, fluttering his eyelashes at him.
“Well, now I do,” Eddie jokes. “Can’t believe you watched without me.” He shakes his head, though it comes across as fond, before he presses play to continue. “You better keep quiet about what you know.”
Buck then dramatically pretends to seal his lips.
Truth is, even if Eddie was joking about being upset about it, Buck does feel bad about it. It’s their show, and he betrayed the unspoken agreement to not watch ahead.
So, he tries to figure out a good way to make it up to Eddie
And what better way then to give him flowers? Because the man smiles so brightly when he receives them. It’d be perfect, he thinks.
This time, he finds himself walking into a local flower shop, one he’s never actually been in before. He’s almost overwhelmed by the options. They don’t seem to have too many of each kind, but a lot of variety.
It must be obvious that he’s unsure where to start looking, because the owner makes her way over. “Who are you looking for?” She asks.
“My, uh– My partner,” Buck replies, then realises that Eddie technically isn’t his partner anymore now that he’s switched to being a paramedic. He’s sort of like his partner in life though, so good enough, he supposes.
“Do you know what kind of flowers your partner likes?”
“Hmm.” Buck stops to think about it. So far, Eddie just seems to like whatever he gives him. “Not sure he has a favorite,” he expresses. Maybe he should ask him.
“May I ask why you’re buying flowers for him? Is it an anniversary?” She questions, looking like she’s already mentally trying to come up with suggestions.
“It’s an apology for watching ahead on the show we were watching together,” Buck admits with a shy grin.
“Ah, I see.” She hums as she looks around. “Well, we’ve got a few options. You could go with a classic like roses. You could even line up some petals leading to the bedroom. Can never go wrong with sorry I watched ahead sex.”
Buck wasn’t eating or drinking anything, so what he finds himself choking on is pure shock. He hits himself on the chest a couple times as he lets out embarrassing coughs.
“You alright?” Her eyebrows are furrowed in concern.
“Yup.” Another cough, though this one is small. “Accidentally swallowed my gum, and it went down wrong,” he lies. He wasn’t chewing any gum. However, admitting that the fact she suggested he apologise to Eddie with sex caused his body to stop functioning normally is far too embarrassing.
“What, uh– What are the other options?” He asks, because he’s not buying those roses. It’s just going to make him think about sex with Eddie every time he sees them, and that seems dangerous.
She then shows him some other options before he settles on a beautiful bundle of anemone flowers because he thought they looked cool. It’s got a lovely mix of red and white ones.
As he’s walking out, Buck brings them up to his nose to smell them, humming in content. They smell as great as they look.
He then drives straight to Eddie’s place. And when he gets there, he knocks on the door, but gets no response. Taking a step back, Buck double checks that Eddie’s truck was there. It is.
Figuring Eddie might just have headphones on or something, Buck uses his key that Eddie gave him many years ago, and lets himself in. And as he does, he’s welcomed to the sight of Eddie walking down the hall with nothing but a towel around his waist. Water is still dripping off of him from the shower he must have just gotten out of.
He’s aware of the fact that the sight is making his jeans a little tighter, but apparently not the fact that he’s been stopped there staring at Eddie for far too long. Not until Eddie is waving at him like he already tried getting his attention another way.
“Huh?” Buck blinks, moving his eyes up to look at Eddie’s face, who is smirking at him.
“Like what you see?” It’s probably meant to be a teasing joke, but Buck can’t help but nod truthfully. “Whatcha got there, Buck?” He gestures to the flowers in Buck’s hands, thankfully ignoring Buck’s reaction to seeing him like this.
And to be clear, Buck blames the reaction on the fact that he wasn’t expecting the sight. If he knew Eddie would be wet and in nothing but a towel he’d— Actually maybe he still would be stopped frozen in horny awe.
Maybe he should have bought the roses and tried that trick she suggested.
“Buck?” Eddie prompts after he notices Buck got lost in his thoughts again.
“Right.” He holds out the flowers. “Sorry again for watching the rest of the season.”
Eddie smiles warmly at him. “It was never that serious, but can’t say I don’t appreciate it. Especially given that my vase went empty a couple days ago.”
“Would you say you agree with me now? That flowers are a nice gift to receive?” Buck questions.
Eddie sighs, but admits, “Yeah. I sort of love it. However, you always make it sweet and personal. So that’s why I like it so much.”
“Doesn’t matter why you agree, just that you agree,” Buck tells him, grinning proudly.
Eddie grins back. “Come help me put these in water,” Eddie requests, walking towards the kitchen.
It’s as Buck is watching Eddie, still in just a towel, reach to grab a vase that he notices something.
“Eddie…?”
“Hmm?” He hums, not looking at Buck, just turning on the sink.
“Did you get my drawing tattooed on you?” He asks, staring at the tattoo on Eddie’s ribs that he knows he hasn’t seen on him before. At least not on his skin. He has seen the drawing, though, when he drew it at work that day.
He sees Eddie freeze, and blush encase him before he finally admits, “Uh, yeah. I did.”
And it hits Buck right then and there. Eddie loves him. There’s many reasons why he thinks so, suddenly thinking back on things. But why else would he get that tattooed on him? And if Eddie loves him, that means it’s okay for Buck to love him back. Suddenly it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off his chest.
“It looks good on you,” Buck tells him, and he wonders if Eddie can hear the love seeping out of his voice.
And Buck wouldn’t say he had a favorite flower before, but he can say for certain that he does now. It’s the matilija poppy, because it’s sort of become their flower. It’s now on Eddie permanently. Maybe one day he can get Eddie to draw him one so he can match.
Maybe after he asks Eddie out.
V.
It seemed only fitting for him to ask Eddie out with flowers at this point. So, he went back to the same flower shop as before and got a new bundle of flowers. This time though, before he went to Eddie’s place, he walked around until he found enough matilija poppies to pick and add to the rest, to make it all the more meaningful.
It takes a while, because he didn’t exactly know where to look, but he does eventually find an area where they were growing that wasn’t in someone’s front garden.
He then went home, and added them to the flowers he already bought before jumping into the shower to freshen up. Afterwards he gets dressed up nicely, but not too fancy, and spritzes himself with a cologne that Eddie complimented one time three years ago.
When he’s ready, he makes his way to his truck, and drives over to Eddie’s.
After parking the truck, he turns it off, and takes a few moments to hype himself up to do this. He’s pretty sure Eddie does in fact love him back. He even took a couple extra weeks to observe to make sure, and he came out of them feeling pretty good about his assumption.
However, he’s fucking nervous regardless. This is a big deal. For their relationship at least. It’s a huge step, one he never thought they’d take until recently. And because it’s a big step, it's hard not to think of all the ways taking this step could go wrong.
But in the end, they’re Buck and Eddie. No matter what, that won’t change.
And that thought is enough to get him out of his vehicle and over towards Eddie’s front door.
Knocking, Buck takes a deep breath as he waits for Eddie to answer.
When Eddie opens up, he does a once over of Buck. “What’s the occasion this time?” He asks, grinning in what looks like curiosity.
Might as well rip off the bandaid, Buck figures.
“Eddie, would you like to go grab dinner with me?” He asks a smidge hesitantly.
Eddie pinches his eyebrows together as he seems to be trying to read Buck’s mind. “Like…?” He pauses for a moment. Then says, “I really hope I’m not reading this wrong, but… Are you asking me out? Like on a date?”
Buck nods minutely. “Uh, y-yeah. If, uh– If you want to,” Buck replies, sounding far less confident than when he practiced in the mirror. “But if I’ve been misreading things, and you don’t actually–”
Eddie cuts him off before he could even finish that thought, reaching out to place a hand on Buck’s shoulder. “I would love to, Buck. Very much so.”
Buck sighs in relief. “Thank god.”
So, he wasn’t seeing things that weren’t there. That’s good to know. And now he’s actually going to get to go out with who is very clearly the love of his life. Turns out life isn’t all that bad after all. The younger version of himself would be in disbelief of that, but he has very solid proof right now.
Eddie lets out a soft chuckle. “You look really good, by the way,” he compliments. “And is that the cologne I like?”
“Yeah, it is,” Buck admits, blushing slightly.
Eddie reaches to take the flowers from Buck, taking a good look at them, as well as smelling them. “Let me just get these in water, and get ready, then we can head out.”
Buck nods, despite Eddie currently not looking at him. “I got us a reservation at that Italian place we really like, but it’s not for a while, so take your time.”
“We have time, you say?” Eddie says with a smirk, and Buck tilts his head in confusion. That is, until Eddie grabbed him by the collar with the hand that wasn’t holding the flowers, and pulled him in close. He pauses for a second, as if silently asking for permission. Buck gives it with a tiny nod before Eddie is finally closing the gap between them.
Eddie starts guiding them towards his room without breaking them apart for more than a few seconds. As they’re passing the kitchen though, Eddie pulls away, much to Buck’s chagrin.
“I’ve got to put these in a vase,” Eddie tells him, holding up the flowers. “I’ll meet you in the bedroom, okay?”
“Be quick,” Buck demands, leaving another kiss on Eddie’s lips before letting him walk away.
And by the time Eddie makes his way into the room, Buck has already stripped himself out of his clothes.
“Impatient much?” Eddie teases as he starts taking off his own shirt.
“Been waiting too long already,” Buck tells him. “Even if I didn’t know I was waiting this whole time.”
He knows the wait was totally worth it though.
+1
When Buck wakes up, the first thing he notices is that Eddie’s side of the bed is empty. Which is not something he’s used to. Since they got together a year ago, they’ve woken up next to each other almost every day since. Other than at work, because apparently it goes against some rules or whatever for them to share a bed every night. Something about it being unprofessional.
So, since he’s alone in bed, he frowns. That is, until he notices the note where Eddie is normally laying. It reads, follow the petals. And when Buck looks up, he notices a trail of petals leading out the door of their room.
As he gets up, Buck wipes the sleep out of his eyes. He then follows the trail with curiosity. It must have something to do with today being their anniversary, he figures. Which fills him with excitement. Eddie probably made them a nice breakfast or something. Maybe he’s even wearing something sexy.
Grinning at that thought, Buck follows the petals all the way to where they lead in the kitchen. Which is where he finds Eddie, who is standing there with what looks like a nervous smile, holding a bouquet of flowers.
“Happy anniversary,” Buck says, smiling back at him, walking over to give Eddie a brief kiss before reaching for the flowers. There’s quite the assortment of flowers in there, but he can’t help but notice the matilija poppies.
“Happy anniversary,” Eddie says back. Then Buck watches as he takes a deep breath, like he’s psyching himself up to say or do something. That intrigues Buck.
“Eddie?”
“Buck, my life changed the day I walked into the station for the first time. For many reasons. But the biggest being you. You taught me I deserved to be loved, and that I am capable of loving properly. Partially by being the reason I realised I’m gay,” Eddie jokes, and Buck can’t quite stop himself from thinking that this sounds like it’s leading up to a proposal.
“If you’re about to ask what I think you are then my answer is yes,” Buck excitedly cuts in.
Eddie smiles huge, chuckling lightly. “Let me finish.” Buck then shuts his mouth, nodding. “I love you so much that I don’t know how all that love fits inside me. And my son– Our son– loves you so much too, and that’s so important to me. You fit in so perfectly in our lives, and you have for quite some time now.”
It’s crazy to think about how they’ve known each other for so many years at this point. They’ve got so many memories together. They’ve been through so much, and with Chris too. They are a little family at this point, and Buck can’t wait to make it just a little more official.
“We’ve seen each other at our worst and at our best, and it’s just made me love you more each and every day. We’ve managed to build ourselves such a good little life together, surrounded by great people, and I can’t wait to get to spend the rest of our lives together.”
And here it is, the question Buck always wanted to either be asked, or to ask, but always thought he’d never be lucky enough to get.
“Yes.” Buck answers before Eddie could even ask.
“Buck,” Eddie scolds. “Let me ask.”
And to be a tease, Buck says, “I would love to marry you.”
To Eddie’s credit, Buck can tell Eddie is trying to pretend to be mad at him. However, he has not stopped grinning.
Eddie then gets down on one knee, opening up a small ring box. “Buck, will you marry me?”
Smiling so wide that his cheeks hurt, Buck nods, holding his left hand out for Eddie to put the ring on his finger. “I would be a fool to say no.”
After Eddie has gotten the ring on Buck’s finger, he stands up, pulling Buck into a kiss.
When they part, Buck says, “I haven’t even brushed my teeth yet, but now we’re engaged.” He chuckles at the thought.
“Well, go brush them, then we can celebrate the engagement before breakfast,” Eddie tells him with a smirk.
“Today is on track to be the best day of my life,” Buck announces as he rushes to get his teeth brushed so that he can get to what he knows will be a long and enthusiastic celebration with Eddie in bed.
And he was not wrong about that, or it being the best. It was beaten out by their wedding day though, and every day after, because every day that he knows he gets to be Eddie’s husband is the best day to him.
He didn’t slow down on giving Eddie flowers, but Eddie gave just as many in return, and eventually they decided to just start a little flower garden in front of the house they bought together. The decision to move was made when they found out someone picked them to adopt their twins when they were born.
And it seemed only fitting for them to name them Poppy and Daisy, given how important flowers became in their relationship.
Now they’re a family of five, feeling complete, and looking forward to every day going forward.
