Chapter Text
I Need Help ~~ Tory goes to Amanda after what happened with the dummy, knowing she needs to have her hand looked at. (They go to Carmen) ~~ Based on Season 5 Episode 9.
Tory looked down at her hand and grimaced. She frowned at all the blood there was and how much pain there was. Tory ran to the locker room, got changed and called an Uber.
She was going to go back to her apartment but decided against it and gave the driver LaRusso's address.
When she got to the house she knocked but received no answer. She sighed. She didn't want to go snooping around so she just slid down the wall and slid down to the ground. She was whimpering from the pain she was feeling when she heard tires.
She stood up, yelling in pain from using her injured hand to get herself up.
Amanda had just pulled up when she heard a yell. She rushed out of the car and when she saw someone by the door.
"Hello?" Amanda called and when Tory stepped to where she could see her, she was surprised. "Tory? What are you doing here?"
Tory looked up and Amanda was shocked to see the tears in her eyes.
"I, Something happened at Cobra Kai, and I need your help." Tory rushed out and held up her bloody and bruising hand.
"Holy shit." Amanda walked closer to Tory and gently inspected her hand. "We need to get you to a hospital."
Tory shook her head. "I can't afford a hospital visit, Mrs. LaRusso."
"Hey, hey. Don't worry about that. We just need to get your hand looked at, okay?" Amanda tried to comfort her. She was surprised when Tory let a tear fall down her cheek. Amanda didn't know what to do so she pulled the girl into her arms. She felt Tory sigh and try to calm her breathing. She held Tory in her arms for a couple more minutes and then pulled back. She led Tory to her car, and they began the drive to the hospital.

Amanda led Tory through the hospital to the nurses' station. "Hi, is Carmen Diaz working tonight?"
The nurse took a moment to look down at the hospital's schedule. "Yes, she is. Would you like me to page her?"
"Please," Amanda breathed out. She looked at Tory and saw her looking down at her hand, face pinched in pain. "Tory," Amanda called, waiting for Tory to look up. "Are you going to tell me what happened?"
Tory sighed. "It was punishment for running out on the fight for Sakai Taikai against Sam," Tory told her, and Amanda looked confused. "I knew that Silver had paid off the ref again, so I didn't want to fight. I didn't want to fight Sam and have a win possibly paid for again. I deserve better and so does Sam." Tory explained and looked down. "They made me punch a stone dummy," Tory told her, and Amanda's mouth gaped open. "I wanted to leave when they pulled it out, but three other sensei's blocked me." Tory continued to look down. The thought of what happened crimpling her. "I know I deserved it though. Guess it's karma for everything I've done." Tory said, a spiteful laugh.
Before Amanda could reply Carmen came up to them.
"Amanda, what are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Carmen asked but then saw Tory, clutching her hand close to her chest. She saw that it was bloody, and she walked closer to Tory and gestured to her hand, Silently asking if she was okay with her touching her. When Tory nodded, Carmen held her hand. She softly touched a knuckle and frowned when Tory whimpered. "Okay, I think this needs to be X-rayed," Carmen told her. Tory looked up and nodded.
Carmen instructed Amanda to wait in the waiting room and she would come back with Tory as soon as they finished. Carmen got her hand X-rayed, and Carmen confirmed it to be broken. Tory frowned and flinched as they were putting the cast on.
"Sorry."
"Hey, no need to apologize," Carmen told her, rubbing Tory's arm. "What colour do you want the cast to be?"
"I don't really care. Maybe blue," Tory told Carmen. "how long will it need to stay on?"
"Four to six weeks," Carmen said, and Tory groaned. "I know. I know. It sucks." Carmen sat next to the patient's bed Tory was on. "It takes a few more weeks after the cast is taken off for it to heal properly." Carmen looked at Tory and could see the pain in her eyes, and not just from her hand. "Tory, I know you and my son only dated briefly and while I don't know you, I would like to help however I can."
Tory looked at Carmen for a couple of moments before speaking. "You are right now. Thank you, Ms. Diaz."
"It's no problem," Carmen told Tory, smiling softly. Carmen watched the nurse working on Tory's cast and when the cast was done, Carmen helped Tory off the bed and walked her back to the waiting room where Amanda was.
"How's the hand?" Amanda asked.
"Broken," Tory said, holding her hand up, giving Amanda a look at the blue cast.
"Shit. I'm sorry." Amanda said, standing up. "Do you want me to take you home?"
"Would you mind?" Tory asked, shyly.
"Are you okay to be on your own right now?"
Tory nodded. "Yeah, I really just want to get some sleep right now," Tory told her, yawning.
Amanda nodded and they left the hospital.

After going to the pharmacy to get her pain medication filled Amanda took Tory home.
Amanda had just parked, and Tory was about to get out of the car when she hesitated.
"Tory? You okay?" Amanda asked, worried about the girl.
Tory looked at Amanda. "Yeah, yeah." Tory turned to look at Amanda. "Just grateful you did this for me."
"It's no problem," Amanda tried to ease the girl. "Anytime you need something I'll try to be there, okay?" Amanda told her and Tory nodded.
"Thank you, Mrs. LaRusso." Tory surprised Amanda by leaning over the center console in the car and gave her a quick hug.
"Get some rest, Tory," Amanda said as Tory got out of the car. Amanda watched her until she got into her apartment and sighed. She really hoped things would start to get better for the girl soon.
