Under An Eclipsed Moon.

Summary:

Sun and Blake are, and quite bitterly, rivals. Ever since their rookie season, they've been neck and neck, fighting for even pointless positions. As a result, they aren't too fond of the other.

Then, when their boss catches on and sends them to one of his houses in Bologna for a team building exercise, just the two of them, things take a turn. They get to learn about the other, and help them through certain things.

And maybe, they'll start to fall for each other.

(Updates ... WHENEVER! Idgaf about deadlines anymore, you'll get chapters when I finish chapters xP)

Chapter Text

Case 1: Qatari Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2024.

Their debut season. Having been promoted to MotoGP from the Moto2 class, both Blake and Sun were keen to set a precedent. Which was set during this exact race.

Blake was in the lead of the race, commandingly and comfortably in the lead. In second, was her teammate, Sun. She hadn't gotten time to get to know him, but he was certainly fast. After starting 2 places behind Blake in 12th, the two managed to keep a relatively close distance.

Approaching turn 4, Blake leans in, as usual, to make the turn. Then she hears the roar of her teammate's bike. When she rebalanced, she saw that Sun had gone round the outside and had passed him. Well, all she needed to do was fight back.

She saw an opening to go around the outside of turn 5, and took it. Mirroring the move Sun had made, she passed her counterpart. She gunned it and fully went for it, leaving Sun in the dust. At least, that was what she thought.

Entering turn 6, she turned in, but was suddenly interrupted by Sun blasting down the inside, somehow not crashing but staying on track and having completed a pass on her teammate. That caught Blake so off guard she nearly crashed. But she didn't, and she gunned it again, hoping to catch him again.

She didn't, however, and that blazing pass was the last she saw of him. It made her a little frustrated, but no deal. She'd get her revenge.

Score: Sun 1, Blake 0.

Case 2: Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2024.

Sun rounded turn 9, a not too tight turn. He was happy; he was lined up to get a second win, following his first in Qatar earlier this year. With two laps to go, he was comfortably in the lead. To his knowledge at least, he was.

Unbeknownst to him, Blake was readying up. With Sun in her sights, she got ready to pounce like the nickname she was given after chasing down Bezzechi last race and absolutely sending it down the inside, The Cougar.

She was gunning it down the back straight, going on the curbs of turn 10 and turning sharply into the corner. She followed through into 11 and 12, of which Sun was starting the last lap.

Sun crossed the finish straight, starting said final lap. He was relaxed, calm, and wondering what he wanted to do this time to celebrate as he negotiated the first turn. Then, he heard a familiar sound. The sound of an engine.

The Cougar.

Sun wasn't too keen to let her pass. He was in it for the win, and nothing else.

Moving over, he covered the inside, forcing Blake to use the outside if she wanted to go round it. But to his horror, she did.

Blake swooped around the outside, and got the inside line through turn 2. She had made a pass, and was running with it. Sun wasn't going to let her get away with that, however.

He locked in. Approaching the straight between turn 3 and 4, He scoped in onto Blake's bike. He noted how she was moving, and attacked when he saw an opening.

He slid down the inside, hoping to catch Blake off guard. And for the most part it did, allowing Sun to blast past. But then, he had to take the inside as he exited, which wasn't the best. Blake had planned this; she then went through the outside and got a great opening into the next corner.

Sun never caught her again, just out of his reach — 0.156 seconds — as they crossed the line. It made her satisfied. Her first win, and revenge! But she couldn't relax. She knew Sun was going to strike back.

Score: Sun 1, Blake 1.

Case 3: Emilia Romagna Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2024.

It was a dream race for Blake. Her home race, the last of her three. After not winning in a single one, she set her sights on winning here. It was her goal.

Behind her, Sun was meticulously waiting for an opportunity. An opportunity to strike at Blake. An opportunity for revenge. It might be her home race, but Sun wasn't going to back down.

The two were relatively close entering the back straight and turn 7. Behind, Sun managed to get a draft behind her and got an exceptional speed boost. As they approached turn 8, Sun dive bombed into the inside, but instead of a valiant overtake, he bumped into Blake and caused her bike to catapult her off and career into the gravel trap.

Sun grimaced as he watched. 'Owch, that oughta hurt.'

Blake hit the ground in anger. That was stupid! There was no way Sun would get past. 'Oh, that's how we're playing? Alright, no more nice cougar.'

Score: Sun disqualified, Blake 1.

Case 4: Japanese Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2024.

Sun was leading his home race. Not only was he the fastest man on track, if he won here he'd be leading the championship! He was afraid of one thing. Blake.

After the events in Misano, even when Sun apologised, Blake turned a cold shoulder, arguing that he was reckless. Well, he was, but that was just how he did things! And if big boss and Neptune didn't say anything, it was probably fine.

Going under the bridge after turn 4, he heard a second echo. Once again, his favourite competitor was just behind him. Great. He prepared for either an unnecessary skirmish or an intentional crash.

Sun closed the inside line, forcing her to go round the outside if she wanted to pass. She didn't, and they continued. Sun in the lead, with Blake just behind him. Approaching turn 8 and 9, a left right chicane type of corner, Blake went round the outside of Sun. It surprised him, and he over corrected and was yeeted off his bike, Blake narrowly avoiding his bike.

Blake frowned seeing Sun tumble through the gravel. 'That looked bad.'

What was Blake thinking?! That was an incredibly unsafe move, even by Sun's standards! If she didn't get past in time, or stayed there, they would've both been out! 'She's gonna PAY!'

Score: Sun disqualified, Blake disqualified.

Case 5: Thailand Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2024 (Breaking Point).

Blake and Sun start in second and third positions. Behind the newly crowned world champion, ahead of both Blake and Sun by 5 points, Jorge Martin. Analysers and critics both stated that the rookies could've set a record and become the new world champions, first ever rookies to do so, but instead were too focused on their quarrels to care. And today, no one doubted that they would again fight.

As the man with the green flag ran across and the lights went out, the grid got under way. Blake immediately started to attack Jorge, but with his Pramac, he left her and Sun in the dust. They themselves were in older ones, and could thus not compete. But here's where the fun started.

Rounding turn 1, Sun got side by side with his teammate, ready to drag race with her. With the looming threat behind them, Blake had to just shrug it off and let him.

As they raced to the hairpin of turn 3, they remained head to head, wheel to wheel, until the breaking point. But at that point, Blake was watching Sun and vice versa, and Sun turned into Blake.

The two bikes collided. Blake simply fell off, while Sun fell forward and was pinned to the ground by the bike. Luckily, it wasn't too bad.

'Che cazzo!?'

'Nande!?'

Neither could believe it. They had it. They had it with that … that … that …

'That monkey!'

'That damn cougar!'

Without hesitation, both of them got up and angrily marched to the other.

"Oi!"

"Chi ti credi di essere?!"

They arrived at the midpoint between their wrecks.

"I've had it with you, you know!?", Sun exclaimed.

"Oh ho, you think you've had it with me? I'm at my limit with you!", Blake yelled back, getting closer to his face. Even with their helmets on, they could see their angry faces.

Suddenly Blake pushed his shoulder, angrily. Sun held back, only angrily walking closer.

"You wanna go?"

"You bet!"

"Hold it, hold it!", a marshal said. With his friends, they escorted them off the track. They were fuming. And slightly embarrassed. That was televised live on television. But that embarrassment only set in at night.

Right now, the only thing on their minds was each other.

Score: Redundant.

Bonus: Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix Press Conference, 2024.

Blake Belladonna, Sun Wukong and Weiss Schnee, the winner of the event, sat inside the press conference room. They were the bikers that finished in 3rd, 4th and 1st. The tension was still very much there, but some how, Weiss was oblivious.

"Now, a question for Weiss. You were very good earlier during the rain. I just wanted to ask, how does it differ from normal weather for you?", a reporter asked. Most questions that night were asked towards Weiss, but Blake and Sun weren't bothered. They were too focused on not lashing out on each other.

"Uhh … not too different to be honest. Just a little more wet. Heh."

A low laughter rumbled in the room.

"Ah, it really isn't too different. Like I said, more wet. But also, for me, more noisy, more cold, more calm."

That was certainly not what this room was. Very hot, very much quiet, and not calm. It seems that Weiss caught on.

"Uhh … is something wrong? I can feel something-"

"I'll excuse myself. I need some fresh air. Sorry.", Blake said, rising from her chair. And without hesitation, she left.

Everyone knew why. She couldn't stand to be in the same room with Sun. After Thailand, they made it vocal that they, well, despised the other.

Apart from Weiss.

"W-What did I miss?"

Final Case: Czech Motorcycle Grand Prix, 2025.

The 22 bikers round the final corner as they end their formation lap. The last biker to line up was Pyrrha Nikos, having an abysmal Qualifying session yesterday. As for our two protagonists, Blake started in 4th, the rest of her little RWBY ahead of her, while Sun was in 13th, not particularly good at the Brno Autodrome. At least that was what he put on.

As the man with the red flag at the front retreated, the lights went on and the bikers got ready. Last race before the summer break, and everyone was itching to give a good performance.

1 … 2 … and 3 … go.

The whole grid get off with no problems, RWBY sticking relatively close as they went into turn 1. Nearly the whole grid stuck together in a single file line, apart from most people, like Sun, who was on the attack of two people ahead of him, Jaune and Emerald, who were fighting amongst themselves.

As RWBY approached the hill up to turn 3, Blake started to attack Ruby and Weiss tailed behind Yang, who was in the lead.

Reaching the top, Blake got out of the draft behind Ruby and slid up the inside. But with Ruby powering her bike through the corner, she managed to keep it as they rounded the next. Up ahead, Weiss and Yang were neck and neck.

Once again in draft through the straight, behind, Sage Ayana was catching up. Which meant that Blake had to either pass or be passed soon. Ruby saw him too, and started to pull away, leaving Blake. Blake grumbled. This was going to be a long race of fending off and attacking. Like all races, so she was prepared.

On lap 5 of 21, Sun was racing with Sage, one of his friends who had been pressuring Blake through most of the race. He followed him closely through the final turns of the race track, opting to get a draft off of his friend rather than fend off from the looming threat that was Velvet Scarlatina behind them.

Sun took the corners gracefully, devoid of much urgency as he waited for Sage to slip up, until he saw Blake's bike negotiating turn 1, racing with Ruby for what Sun thought was 3rd. And when Sun sees Blake, something flicks in his mind.

Immediately, Sun attack Sage, catching him by surprise, lunging from a long way back. The Japanese rider stood a little as he traversed the corner, correcting his bike. Now with sage out of the way, he was in 5th, and ready to chase Blake down.

As things settled, because Blake was so far away, Sun relaxed a little. Well, not really, but he allowed his mind to wander. Why did Blake do this to him? Blake drove him crazy, and not in a good way. Usually, if a girl made Sun go crazy, it would be because of other things. Feelings, one might say.

The feelings he felt about Blake were nothing of the sort. She was mean, quiet, condescending and a downer. A loser of a person. But not a loser in a race. Sun may diss her as much as he wants, but he did respect her riding. What he didn't respect was everything else about The Cougar.

She was also a menace. On track and off. On track, she would present Sun with daring moves that not even he, the quote Monkey, would do. Switchbacks, wheelies, and even dummy crashes! And she has the gall to call him reckless? She even taps Sun's bike from time to time! In revenge, he usually does burn outs if he is starting from ahead, leaving a bit of dust behind in her face.

Was it mean? Yes, but she was too, so it was fine.

On lap 7, Blake herself could see Sun behind her.

Crap, not him again. She hated this. Why did he have to be so good?!

Blake rounded the so called stadium section in tandem with Ruby. Ruby was a tough nut, and Blake needed to pass her. She couldn't let Sun get the ledge over her over the Summer Break, she just couldn't!

Exiting turn 9, she entered a draft behind Ruby, she leaned forward to the visor and gunned down the straight, hoping to beat Sun to the corner.

She really didn't like him. Like, at all. Obnoxious, noisy, bratty, and just reckless! Sure, Blake did … questionable things on track, but he did much more things than her!

He dives down and round insides and outsides from Light years away, leans the other way to corner, and does burnouts! Even on the starting line, he did burnouts right in front of Blake in order to mess with her. She knew that was the reason. The damned Monkey had nearly no remorse or care for either his bike or his championship.

So, if he gets ahead of her in the championship-

Oh, the championship. She'd started well in the championship … where was she now? 6th? 7th? Where was Sun? Would she beat him soon?

As she thought that, she saw an opening into turn 1, Ruby had made a mistake. She throttled the bike and leaned earlier than usual, riding the curb slightly.

Blake got the move through, and was pretty happy about getting away from Sun for a little, until Blake heard a roar of an engine similar to hers behind. How?!

Sun had caught up. Blake knew, and was desperate to get away, so she fully gunned up the hill, getting a little airborne as she reached the top. She slowed just enough to make the corner, and before long, she was in a train with Sun and a lacking Ruby behind.

Ahead, Weiss and Yang were fighting for the lead, neck and neck with each other. Those two were just some of the most closest people she'd ever seen; the polar opposite of herself and Sun. And Weiss was much more lively, especially after Germany. Ciel probably really boosted her mood, even if she won. Blake smirked.

The thoughts however had to be sidelined, as not only was Sun rapidly approaching behind her, but ahead they were catching Weiss and Yang who were losing time themselves. This was going to become a 5 way battle.

Entering the straight after turn 9, the Blake Train arrived at the scene of Weiss and Yang attacking each other. Blake went to the right, next to Yang, and the other two … well, Blake didn't care where they went, she just wanted to race for the lead.

They raced down the straight, and Blake saw that the other two had gone behind them, so it was going to be very close.

Entering turn 10, they were 3 and 2 wide, and Blake having the inside line capitalised and took the lead. Sun managed to squeeze between the Freezer Burnt pairing and went through, while Ruby slotted herself between Weiss and Yang. Poor Weiss, who now sat in 5th.

Streaming away but not really, Blake swallowed her saliva. Sun was behind her, and was sure to cause a stir.

As they negotiated the next corners, the trio behind the Eclipsed duo caught up, and went 5 wide going into turn 1.

With Blake wanting to do a switchback, she went a little wider, allowing for Ruby to slot between her and Sun. On her outside, Weiss and Yang both huddled close, probably wanting to catch them off guard. The crowd roared, but Blake's attention was directed at what happened next.

She suddenly felt something press on her thigh, and it was a little warm. Then she was sandwiched between Ruby's bike and Weiss', unable to move. As Ruby fell behind her, Sun slid across behind them, with Weiss and Yang both falling off unceremoniously.

Blake was caught between all 5 bikes and was dragged by the bikes along into the gravel. She felt multiple things getting injured, mostly just little hits and clangs, until she heard and felt a crack in her right arm that made her want to scream.

As the bikes came to a stop, she laid motionless, cradling her arm. She had broken it.

'Fuck, that hurts. Ow, ow, ow … what happened?!', Blake thought, frustrated. Then she saw and heard her team running back to her, tapping her and asking questions.

"Blake! Are you okay?!"

"Your arm — ooh ouch, that surely hurts."

"Let's get you to the marshal."

Then she heard another person behind her walking to her. Sun. He … he did this, didn't he? It was on purpose. Sun. This damned Monkey was going to absolutely pay for this.

"Blake! Are you-", Sun started, before Blake promptly kicked him in the nuts. Sun winced in pain, just as Blake did, and Blake riled up even more.

"You dare do this?! How unsportsmanlike can you be!?!!", she exclaimed, flipping him off. The unsuspecting Sun — who was now laying on the gravel, in pain — clutched his groin and huddled. He didn't care for the other bikers, a yellow flag was being shown anyway.

"Woah Blakey, calm your jets!", Yang urged, directing the fuming Blake away to the marshals, of which had spilled onto track to clear the bikes. Ruby and Weiss clamoured to get Sun back on his feet, with a stretcher on it's way. For Blake, at least; Sun might have been kicked in the huevos, but it was, you know, a kick in the balls. Hurts like hell, but the pain should go away without concern. Luckily for Sun, Blake had mercy.

As they sat down, Blake had the diagnosis that she broke an arm. This was the first time she had that happen, and by golly it hurt. As for Sun … he was angry. That was definite, and most of it was probably from crashing out so unceremoniously. The 5 way crash had also gave him a bit of whiplash, gave Ruby a friction burn on her knee, Yang a sprained arm and Weiss … a broken spirit.

Chapter Text

Blake and Sun stood bickering in their boss' office, with Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck watching. He'd hired these two when they were new rookies, promising in the junior Moto2 and Moto3 categories in the years passed. But, in the last year, not only had he started to wonder if that was a bad idea, he spent close to millions of dollars to compensate for their bickering. It was acceptable as they were rookies, but now? They were well seasoned, not to mention experienced! They could've won the Championship if it weren't for these two!

"Enough!", Oobleck exclaimed, slamming his table. With Blake in a cast, he did feel bad, but she also kicked Sun in the balls. Now that was a PR disaster. People saying things like: The Cougar takes the Monkey as pray! Oobleck had seen and read that article, and was absolutely fuming. Not only was that a very condescending use of their nicknames, it was also true. Blake could get mad when she was angry, same with Sun, except that Blake got mad very rarely. It wasn't good to have two bikers who were at odd with each other at all times.

"You two have been quarrelling ever since we took you in! When you were rookies, I let it slide. But do you know how much money was wasted, repairing your bikes?", he snapped, jabbing a finger in both of their faces. And for once in their one and a half seasons of racing, the two were quiet as they stood in the same room. His brain calmed and he took a breather.

"I'm all for friendly competition. In fact when I raced I competed with all of my friends. And while I never won anything, I had fun. Are you two seriously going to fight like this for your whole careers? Think about it, that would be a waste. Not only of your lives, but your talents as well!", he asked the pair of them, who looked a little shamed. But also mostly angry at the other. Oobleck sighed.

"Look, alright? You two are some of the best bikers on the grid. Exceptional! That's why I picked you up. Everyone called me mad. But … when you do stunts like that, Blake, you in particular, it only proves that point. I inch closer to becoming an example of a washed up veteran, and you two become an example of the new generation. You might just already be the image of the younger generation in some people's mind. What is that image, then?", he added, pinching the bridge of his nose. He always talked at blazing speed, but today he was fuming, so he went at an even faster pace.

Somehow, the bikers understood.

"Violent, idiotic, crass …", Blake muttered.

"… short fused, hot headed, egotistic. Yeah, I don't like the sound of that.", Sun added, scratching the back of his neck in shame.

Oobleck smiled. But he hid it as not to give up his muse. He had a plan to get these two to settle. Not for each other, but that would definitely help in getting their frustrations out. He nearly gave it away as the thought crossed his mind.

"I don't like scolding people, you know? It hurts my soul. And Glynda's too. Though she'd go ham at you two for 'causing all the problems we have in bed'. Not only do I have to deal with the team's affairs, I have to shoulder you two costing us a portion of our resources, and I have to silence all these reporters talking smack about you two.", Oobleck said. His plan was simple — make the two feel guilty.

And it seemed to work when Sun spoke up.

"Sorry, sir. I suppose we've been causing a lot of problems for the team. Please, tell us what we could do to repay you for everything.", Sun said, bowing. A sign of respect, especially in Japan, and one Blake seldom saw.

"Oi, what do you mean we?", Blake whispered. Sun groaned.

"Just do it for him, man!"

"Fine! Fine. Yes, sir, please, tell us what we could do.", Blake said, a little reluctance in her voice but Oobleck could tell she was guilty and sincere.

"Well, now that you mention it … me and Glynda are going off for a trip for this summer so … yeah, you two could do that!", he said to himself, clapping his hands. Curious, Sun got up from his bow and looked at his superior. Blake too.

"What is it?", they said at the same time.

"Right! So, we live in Bologna, right? Our house is small … but the burglar alarm doesn't work anymore, so we'd probably need to hire someone to take care of it. Could you-"

"With her? No."

"With him? No."

"But that money could be used to fix your bikes. Without it, you two might need to miss a few races. Besides, I'm running low on funds as is, that last crash is going to chip into my retirement fund!", Oobleck persuaded, hoping it would make them a little bit more guilty. Sure, it was petty, but was it worth it? Most definitely.

Sun broke first. "Alright. I did say anything, and we're going to do anything.", he said, nodding and giving a thumbs up in confirmation. Blake stammered, but after Sun shot her a look, she broke.

"Fine, if spending time with this monkey lets me race, I'll spend time.", she said. Sun rolled his eyes at her pretty obvious distaste, but ignored it.

Oobleck finally allowed for his smile to show. His plan worked, and not only had he saved a few bucks, but he also got these two to spend the summer break together! That would surely fix his problems. He just had one left.

'Now I just need to break that alarm …'

Sun and Blake walked out of their boss' office, both not too sure what to think. But Blake felt a little … guilty. Not for wasting a bunch of the team's assets over the years, but because he also caused Sun a lot of problems over the year and a half. She'd come to terms with herself, and decided to try and reconcile. And it would probably be a good thing, seeming that they were going to spend about 3 weeks with the monkey.

Not that she was particularly looking forward to it, either way.

"Hey, Sun … seeing that we're going to be spending like 3 weeks together … mind stop being a jerk?"

"Me, being a jerk? I could ask the same thing from you."

"Ugh! You're insufferable, you know? I'm trying to put our differences aside, can't you take things seriously?", Blake accused. She couldn't really move her hands much, her broken arm getting in the way. Sun was being unreasonable in Blake's mind. Sure, she was a little petty, but Sun was as well! He couldn't just accuse her of being a jerk without admitting he's one himself!

"Look, maybe I'm a jerk, maybe you're a jerk. At this point the word has lost meaning. Let's just … agree to disagree, eh? We'll figure things out slowly. Do you think I like constantly fighting with you?", Sun asked, crossing his arms.

"… yes?"

"No! Look, Blake, you might not be my favourite person, but I'm still a nice guy!"

"Heh, nice guy. Sun, you crack me up. Literally.", she said, using her other arm to gesture to her broken arm.

"I said I was sorry!", Sun said. Blake sighed.

"We're fighting again."

"Ack. You're right."

"Always am. I'll … see you? I have plans.", Blake said, walking past him. Before he could object, Blake was already out of range, not wanting to hear another word from her nemesis.

That same night, she retreated to the hotel room that Yang stayed that night. Bikers had a choice — a trailer they lived in and travelled for use in Europe, or a hotel room. Most European drivers used a trailer, so Weiss, Blake and Ruby, who hailed from Germany, Italy and Switzerland — though Ruby's Swiss-ness only on paper — respectfully, utilised trailers.

Yang, on the other hand, hails from Chinese Taipei, or, Taiwan. In Asia. So it was smart of her to just get a hotel. Ren, who is also a citizen of Taiwan, was out for a night with JNPR, so Yang was alone.

"I'm telling you, Ren sleeps in that bed!", Yang exclaimed, pointing at the suspiciously clean bed. Blake and Weiss smirked like that one Spongebob picture. "I'm serious! The housekeeping just … just … d'oh, who am I kidding.", Yang said in defeat, dropping her loupák in said defeat. Weiss and Blake laughed while Ruby, who was laying on Yang's bed, jumped off.

"Ew! You two bang on that bed?! Could told me before I jumped on it earlier.", Ruby exclaimed, huddling and hugging her knees on the ground. Weiss broke into a laughing fit and slammed the table, while Blake held in hers.

"I-I … I don't have s-sex with Ren! … not yet at least.", she said. When she realised she said that last part, her face turned the same colour as Ruby's hair. Blake finally broke, and she started laughing with Weiss, while Ruby pulled her hoody over her ears.

"Oh yeah, huh? Weiss, stop laughing, I saw Ciel this morning.", Yang said. Weiss' laughing stopped and she continued to eat her food. "She had some of the most ruffled hair, you know? Weiss, you that pent up- ow!", she added, receiving a lemon seed from Weiss to the cheek. She was damn precise.

"Ciel thought you to be quite precise, eh?", Blake thought, smiling at her. Weiss frowned.

"Don't tease me, Blakey, or maybe I'll just let you carry your stuff down yourself?", she said. Blake put her hands- er, hand, up in surrender.

"Speaking of, Blake, you're the only one who hasn't hit anyone up. Even Ruby laid Pyrrha. Pyrrha! She's stinking beautiful!", Yang exclaimed. Before long, Ruby came up to her elder sister, who had stopped eating for a moment, and choked her. "Ruby-ack!"

"Shutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutupshutup!", Ruby blurted out as her face flushed and tackling Yang. Weiss and Blake watched in awe and decided to have a 'grown ups' conversation.

"Nobody caught your eye in the paddock?", Weiss asked, swirling her wine cup. Blake shook her head.

"I'm here to race, not to get laid. Besides, I think most of the grid and workers are scared of me.", Blake mused, watching the Rose-Xiao Long sisters fight it out. The thought of how far that Tai must've travelled to hook up with a Swiss and a Taiwanese went through her mind for a bit.

"Well, not everybody.", Weiss said, gesturing at an open chest. Blake's eyes widened and laughed. She took a swig of the beer she had — the Czech Republic is known for their beer, so Blake decided to try some out. Truth be told, it was good!

"Hah! Are you for real?", Blake exclaimed, getting a little tipsy. The beer was a little too good, evident by the ever growing pile of cans in the trash can. Weiss nodded and took the empty can out of her usable hand and threw it, the 3rd can of the night.

"Never. hic. That insufferable hic idiot drives me hic mad!", Blake said, hiccoughing as she skilfully cracked another can open. Yang and Ruby stopped and smirked and looked at her. Blake sighed.

"Not like hic that, you dum- hic -asses.", she said, downing the 5th can in one go. Yang shrugged.

"Look, all I'm saying is that you're probably going to have to get over this rivalry you have with him if you're spending summer break with him.". The other 3 looked at Yang in curiosity and irritation. Guess who's faces were which.

"What? I heard it from Ilia. She spreads word fast.", she said. The group looked to Blake, who in her irritation cracked yet another can, her 6th. She was well aware she was drinking too fast, but couldn't be damned.

"Yes, hic I'm spending the break hic with Sun.", Blake slurred, taking another swig. Weiss got worried and reached for the pack of cans, but Blake snatched them, and like the Cougar she was, hissed. Weiss backed away.

"Well, 3 weeks in the same house? That's … gonna do something for sure.", Yang said. Blake shrugged and leaned forward.

"Maybe."

"No way dude, spending 3 weeks in the same house as that chick? Talk about lucky!", Neptune exclaimed, leaning over the ledge in a little paddock type place in Prague. It wasn't a bar, Neptune needed to drive the rest of SSSN, excluding Sun, to Budapest tonight.

They hadn't the slightest clue where those lovebirds were, but they were somewhere, preferably not getting drunk and in the Czech Republic still. Sage wasn't a European national, so if he were to be found outside the nation drunk, it'd certainly cause a stir.

"Lucky? With that bitch? I'd be lucky if she retired. She drives me nuts!", Sun said, sipping at his drink. Even if he wasn't driving anywhere — they'd be going to Bologna by plane — he wasn't a fan of alcohol much. But still, like Blake, he didn't realise what he had just said.

"Huh. She drives you nuts? I dunno man, you sound pretty in love.", Neptune said, popping the 't' in 'pretty'. Sun's cheeks flared up and he choked on his chocolate beverage. Wha- No! Never! He wouldn't ever fall for that Cougar, even if she was the last woman on Earth!

"N-No! Ugh, Neptune, you know what I mean.", Sun groaned. Neptune chuckled as he chewed his little bun he got from this cafe. He must say, it was quite nice and cosy. Their waitress that night was also quite nice. Though he didn't make a move, he saw that Neptune was fond of that Neon.

"Yeah yeah. So where is this place?", Neptune asked, though only half attentively, he was eyeing up that Neon. Sun rolled his eyes. But answered nonetheless.

"In Bologna, Italy.", he said, grimacing at the fact they were practically living in Blake's backyard for 3 weeks. She was from Florence, so quite a bit away from Bologna, but still Italy.

"Ooh, Italy? You know how many romantic stories are set there?"

"Cool it, Nep. It ain't happening.", Sun sighed as he stirred his drink. Neptune laughed but halfheartedly. Sun sighed.

"Just go for it dude.", Sun urged, leaning back in his chair. Neptune grimaced.

"D'aah I dunno dude, who would want to date me looking like that?", he said, gesturing at Neon. Sun knew what he had to do.

"Yo, waitress?", he hollered, and sure enough, Neon turned at him. "Nep here has something for you!", he called out. Neon perked up, and that was all Sun needed to know to confirm that Neon was interested.

"Sun what are you DOING?!", Neptune whispered over the table. But before Sun could respond, Neon had arrived.

"Yes, Neptune, was it?"

"U-Uh! Yes, Neptune. Like the planet … and the God.", he said, stumbling. That got a laugh out of the Czech waitress.

Sun watched on as they actually got along. Would he ever find someone like that? Well, surely.

But not her. No. Never with Blake.
