Chapter Text

[Well, I think we had a good run, didn’t we, assholes?]

In a vast forest, beyond the long ago abandoned planes of the earth, a couple of grineer, super-augmented soldiers, were marching, silently, through the woods. Their squad had dissapeared a couple of hours ago, and they were wandering for a time.

A wind breeze flew across their cheeks, and one of them turned around. A golden wind sewed his fate, as he was sliced in half with no efford.

The second one, couldn't even react. He, too, met the same fate

In the year 2138 AD there was a term: DMMO-RPG.

That word was an acronym for “Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game”.
These games were played by connecting a dedicated console to the brain via a neuronal nano-interface — an intracerebral nanocomputer network, created from the fusion of cyber- and nanotechnology.

These were games that allowed one to enter a virtual world and experience it as though it were real life.

In between those games, there existed a couple of legends. One of them, a game that survived for hundreds of years. Ever adapting, ever growing, and, for a long time, ever loved:

WARFRAME

This game was developed and released to the public in 2013, and from there, it didn’t stopped evolving for even a second.

When the technology for the DMMO-RPG appeared, it was immediately adapted to it, bringing it to a realism far beyond what was ever felt.

Developers were loved and appreciated for every choice and detail they made, and the complexities of the old Warframe were ever-evolved into this new reality.

This was a blessing, for either new and old players.

Even when it wasn’t the biggest game, nor the most known, it was one of the hearts of the gaming industry.

-But, sadly, today, that’s a thing from the past.

The Golden Bloom, a Mountain level Clan, was one of the few active clans left.

In a vast red room, surrounded by vegetation, trees, and a red light, in the middle of it all stood a small room, and within it, a huge golden table, surrounded by two hundred and fifty-six golden chairs, although practically all of them were empty.

In the past, all of them had been occupied, but now, only four were left.

The last Tenno in that clan waited there.

One of the Tenno was wearing a dark trench coat fitted to his body, wearing a white mask, hooded, and sitting with one leg on top of the other, relaxing.

The Tenno on his left side was wearing an ornamented armour, sitting with a slim, brilliant suit. Void energy flowers decorated his suit, and an energy ponytail crowned its helmet.

On his right side, Another Tenno sat, wearing a golden suit. A simple sight, but nevertheless, precious.

The last Tenno was across the room, on top of the table, posing. He was wearing some old robes, and, as the other ones, his face was covered, not by a mask or a helmet, but by an old cloth, and sunglasses.

3 of the Tenno were Grand Masters, the peak of the tenno mastery, whilst the first, was a Legendary Master, beyond the peak.

“Man, it’s been a long time, hasn’t it, Ares?” - Asked the dark-coated tenno.

“Indeed, it’s been a long time, SilkCat” - Replied the tenno who was posing in the table.

“Bruh, you’re still as a silly-goose as ever, aren’t you?” - Calmly said the golden tenno.

“Well, one doesn’t change that much in just two years, doesn’t it?”

“Two years!?!?” - Exclaimed the armored tenno, almost jumping from its chair.

“Yes, G-StarMan, it’s been that long”

“C’mon Golddust, you’re lying, right?”

“Nope”

“Goddamn it. It really has been that long”

“We all were pretty occupied” - said SilkCat, with a quiet chuckle coming out of him - “We had lives outside of this”

“That much is true, but. . . still feels like yesterday, when we all still were together here”

“Naaaaaah, me and SilkCat are irl friends, so we kind of never stopped meeting” - expressed Ares, with pride.

“ -_- . . . changin the topic, I heard that they are closing Warframe. So, this is the last time we’ll be here, right?” - melancholy filtered in Golddust’s voice.

“Yes, ideed. But still, the whole clan is still very well preserved. Who-”

“I did” - Said SilkyCat - “I was . . . sort of waiting some of you to return”

“Well, you did a great job, keeping it all together. It was nice to see it all as last time”

“Yeah . . . Like last time . . . “

A grim, furious looks was fired towards Ares. No response from him.

“Well, I guess we just have to wait now, don’t we”

“Yes, pretty much. Missions have been deactivated, and we only have this. I’ll miss Ordis.”

“Me too”

“Yup”

“imma be honest, I had him silenced” - murmured StarMan

“. . . not surprising”

“So, how does this work, like do we have a countdown?”

“Pretty much, when we get to midnight, the game shuts down”

“So, in about 2 hours?”

“Yes”

Silent engulfed the room - either for surprise, or respect

“I think I’d like to stay until the end” - Claimed SilkyCat - “I never actually left, so, I want to see it end”

“. . . I’ll stay too, it’s the least I could do” - Said Golddust, quietly.

"How about we take a walk around? You know, check it out, one last time"

"Yes, I would like that. It's a pretty nice view what we built here. - Said StarMan -I wouldn't mind having a last look arround"

"Count with me"

"And I'll be behind you"

Giant pillars of gold and iron rose before them, along with a layer of red light, which dimly illuminated all the rooms they passed through.

The hallways had that peculiarly gloomy style, yet they still seemed welcoming, occasionally dropping a set of beautiful potted plants, along with some sofas and chairs.

After a bit of walking, they arived to the giant dock with views to the space. In this place, the Railjack, a giant warship, was docked.

"Man, do you remember when we used to pilot this stuff? We used to fight over who would go into the pilot seat! Such times" - Said SilkCat with nostalgia. -"I even made my own "perfect" crew! Worked really hard on that one, to be honest"

"Uh. . . it was fine I guess. I still remember getting dizzy in there" - Expressed StarMan, with a bit of disdain  in his voice.

"Yeah, it was sort of good. Although, you really built a bit of an obsession with it" - Claimed Golddust

". . . Well, let's keep going"

After a bit of walking and reminiscing, walking through the boss rooms and the laboratories, they finally reached the scar.

". . . "

". . . "

". . ."

". . . "

"I do kind of miss them" - Said SK

"Um, isn't a bit too much building a graveyard for everyone who stopped connecting?" -  Wispered Ares

"Some of them left. . . some of them. . . "

"Wait, did you-"

"No. This was far before we were here. Some of them did, indeed, die"

"Too dark dude"

"Well, I mean, it'll be the last time we can see them, so, no harm done"

"Sure, sure. . . let's just go"

After some walking, they went through the syndicate rooms. They were added recently, and it had every sindicate there was, from Arbiters to Red Veil, with some representatives of the Raquis, the unbreakable, and some more.

Finally, they returned to the meeting room, and took a seat, close to each other.

“I sort of missed this, even if we’re not all of us here, I like to finish this with my fellow comrades” - Claimed Ares.

“Huuuuuuh. I mean, I have work tomorrow, but, if y’all are staying, I’ll wait with you too” Said G-Starman, tiredness in his voice.

“Hey, do you think we could bring all of the npcs to fill on the chairs?” - Asked SilkyCat.

“Works for me”

“No problem”

“Fair enough”

After a couple of minutes, every one of the 256 chairs was filled with engineers, warriors, solarians, ostrons, Sisters of Parvos, Kuva liches.

The Kuva liches, Inmortal grineer warriors, fuelled with a heart of kuva. They were one of the strongest links in the dojo.

The Sisters of Parvos, Unkillable corpus brokers. These were trapped within a temporal loop, which made them "technically inmortal". They also were some of the best warriors in our clan.

One representative of every syndicate also took a place in one of the seats, also awaiting for the end.

And lastly, the workers around the dojo. They did most of the repairs, building, and check-outs in the area, and also worked inside the Railjack.

“Well, I think we’re all here then”

“Sort of. It was good while it lasted, friends”

“Yes, it was”

“Yo, SilkCat, can we get something to eat tomorrow to celebrate?”

“Well, why not? I could go for a Kebab”

“Hey, what about us?” - Claimed G-StarMan and Golddust, cheerfully.

“We’ll send you a photo to that old ass discord server we had”

The time was 11:59. it was almost time.

“Welp, guess it’s time then. I’ll see you on the other side”

“I think we had a good run, didn’t we, assholes?”

“It was a pleasure to be your comrade y’all”

“I’ll eat that kebab in your honour”

And it was 12:00 p.m.

And 00:01 a.m.

" . . . Shouldn't we have logged out already?" -Claimed Ares, slightly confused.

"It probably takes a while, give it a second" - Said SilkyCat

“ . . . Uh. . . guys? Are you all feeling a bit . . . dizzy?” Said SilkCat, a bit confused.

"What do yo-ugh - Shouted StarMan, showing a grimace of pain

Suddenly, a horrid headache hit all of them, making them bring their hands to their heads.

“Ugh . . . what the hell is going on?” - muttered Ares.

“Ouch. I’ve got a better question for you. How comes we’re still here?” Responded SilkCat, restin his head on his hands.

Golddust just started puking.

That confused them all. There was no mechanic about puking in Warframe, nor was it ever.

“Uhhhhhh, can any of you access the Menu tab?” - Asked Ares, sounding a bit scared.

“Well fuck me it’s, not working”

“Neither for me”

A voice from the side of G-StarMan startled them.

“Master SilkCat, AresGod50k, Golden_StarMan, Golddust5545, is something wrong?”

All of them froze in place, and, slowly, looked at its side, from where the voice came from.

One of the kuva liches, Aggriddo Arduovo, spoke to them.

And every other NPC in the room was looking at them, some of them with a worried expression.

“WHAT”

“THE HELL”

“IS GOING ON”

And Golddust was still puking.

Chapter 2: Apathy and Confusion

Chapter Text

“Uh . . . Is something wrong, masters?”

Aggrido kept asking questions, while the quartet was still dumbfounded.

A lot was going on, and the dizziness didn’t help that confusion.

“Okay, um ,what the hell is going on!?” - Exclaimed SilkyCat, with genuine confusion in his voice.

“We were called, so we came” - Said Gridduvo Kiddmo, one of the engineers of the railjack - “Is there something wrong?”

The four tenno looked at each other, then looked at the scene in front of them, and started whispering between them.

“What the hell just happened!? Are the npcs just speaking to us??” - Muttered Golddust, still spitting whatever he threw up.

“I don’t know man, between that and the menu not working, I’m as confused as you” - Said StarMan

“The chat isn’t working as well” - commented Ares, while doing some movements with the hands.

SilkCat didn’t say anything about the sudden change, but an idea brightened his mind.

He was the first one to leave the whispering circle, and as if it was second nature to him, got close to Aggrido.

“Aggrido, come here for a second”

“Sure thing boss”

As said and done, Aggrido stood in front of SilkCat. A 3 '5 meters giant, wearing red armour, and with a Kuva heart on his chest. Ugly as a gorgon, and as strong as well.

SilkCat observed him with utmost detail. He checked his little movements, his eyes, his mouth.

There were far too many details into every little movement. It was too “perfect”.

That is what made it “click” in his head. A theory of some sorts.

“Well. . .ain’t that some trouble, huh?”

“Um. . . is something wrong, master? Have I got something in my face?”

“...!”

That took him by surprise. - A response without an input, just because I was looking at him? may this mean. . . No, it’s also possible to program that, but . . . maybe. . . - thought to himself.

“Uh, look, master, you’re being a real weirdo here, to tell you the truth.”

“. . . you don’t say, huh. Well, forgive me then, I had to check it myself”

“Check what?”

“. . . Something. . . wait. Wait a minute”

SilkCat suddenly felt something. As fast as he could, he removed his mask. And touched his face.

He could FEEL it, like he would in the real world. Not only that, his mouth moved, like it would in real life when he spoke - Not just simple movements, but rather complex ones.

“Oh. Oh god, that makes a lot of sense”

SilkCat put his mask back on, and rushed to the others, as fast as he could.

“Out of the room, now”

“What? Why?” - Said StarMan, even more confused than before.

“Just trust me on this one”

Ares and Golddust got outside. No questions asked.

“. . . Fine, fine, let’s get out a moment”

“Good, one quick thing first”

SilkCat quickly faced the other npcs in the room.

“Give us a moment please, we have to discuss a thing real quick, we’ll get in a bit later, okay?”

“Has someone the slightest idea of what’s happening!?” - Screamed Golddust, nervously.

“. . . “

“What is it SilkCat?” - Said Ares.

“I think I’ve got a theory”

“Well, we’re literally all ears”

“We’re inside of the game”

“. . . “

“. . . huh. Well that makes sense” - Said Ares, calmly

“Well, it’s quite the thing, but I don’t feel too worried about it” - Replied Golddust

“I mean, It’s worrying, but not like, super worrying” - Whispered StarMan

“Wait, that’s it? That’s your whole reaction?”

“I’m as surprised as you. I was also kind of expecting to at least feel worried or something, but, nope. I literally just thought ‘ok’.”

“Well I mean, I kind of lived in the forest. Not that much change besides the woods”

“I mean, I hope my pets are okay, but besides that. . . not much”

“. . . You know, normally that would fall under the kind of behaviors and thoughts that you tend to have... but, I have the same feeling... you know, like, I don't even care. And I know I should care! Doesn't it bother you? That thought that you should care about something, but you just can't seem to give it any more thought? What if-”

“Brother, take a chill pill, you’re over-reacting over not reacting” - Exclaimed Ares

“I mean, I don’t feel that . . . you know, bad. So, what do we do now?” - Inquired Golddust - “Like, shouldn’t we check the dojo now?”

“I mean, it makes sense to me. We should check it out” - Complied StarMan.

“Well, if you two want to . . . do as you wish. I gotta see how much we can communicate with the “npcs”, although, I don’t think I can call them that anymore, do I?”

“Then I’ll come with you” - Inquired Ares - “I’m also curious as of how this works”

“Great then. Shall we meet at the navigation room then?”

“Works for me”

“Fine”

“Cool. meet you two there then”

After a quick talk (Roughly two minutes), Both SilkCat and Ares returned to the room.

A robot-looking man rose from his seat, still holding in his left hand some kind of blowtorch.

“Yo, boss, mid telling us what’s happening? Some of us would like to return to work. There are some leaks in the coolant of the repeater that I would like to finish fixing today”

“Yeah, some of us have to check on the railjack” - Said another worker, wearing a full set of protective armour.

“Uh . . . yeah. Don’t worry Deri, we’ll finish this fast.”

“. . . You remember my name?” - Claimed the armored man, surprised.

“Well, of course I do. I remember every one of your names. You are all part of this clan, if I’m not wrong. I even contracted and trained some of you myself!” - he said, confident.- “You’re all part of this place too.”

The room fell silent. SilkyCat shifted on the place, a bit uncomfortable.

“Maybe a bit too emotional there?” - Whispered Ares, trying to contain a chuckle.

“. . . “

Then, a wave of applause and whistles broke the silence.

“That’s one heck of a master we’ve got!” Shouted one of the Sisters, excitedly

“Goddammit, if that ain’t true, I don’t know what else is, you bastard!” Said another Kuva Lich.

“I came in for the money, but damn, ain’t you a sweet talker” - Said Deri - “Well, what is it you need to tell us, boss?”

“Well you see-”

Schhzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-

A screech came up to the ears of both Silky and Ares. A transmission.

Meanwhile, StarMan and Golddust wandered through the gigantic hallways of the clan's first floor.

For the first time in ages, as they walked, there was life. Genuine people greeting them, bowing to them.

“Well. . . this feel somewhat nice” - Said StarMan, cheerfully

“Yeah, it does feel nice”

“Do. . . you know any of their names?”

“No I don’t, they weren’t even npcs, were they?”

“Well, they are now”

“Sure, sure. Wonder if the teleporters work tho’”

After some more walking, they finally arrived at the navigation. A heavily decorated place, full of sculptures, lights, and on the side, a full bar, with built in functions.

“Man, I did that” - Proudly claimed Golddust - “it was a pretty fun project. . . makes me wonder. . . “

Without another word, Golddust rushed to the other side of the bar, and started pouring a pint.

“NO FUCKING WAY!!!” - Shouted Golddust - “IT WORKS!!!”

Starman ignored Golddust, for she was in shock. Her eyes seemed to deceive her.

In the navigator, where usually there were dozens upon dozens of planets, was reduced to just one.

A new planet, called by the navigator itself “%$!&’/!)”

“Where the hell are we?” - Said Starman, confused - “What is this place? What’s happening to the navigation?”

“Looks like we’re in some kind of planet. How about “New World”?” - said Golddust, holding a bit of a chuckle.

As soon as he finished that sentence, the Navigation changed the name to “NEW WORLD”.

“. . . are you some kind of ret-”

“Don’t finish that sentence”

“Fine, idiot”

“By the way, do transmissions still work like they did?”

“Well, let’s try then. It’s the bracelet on the left wrist, right?”

“HEEEEY, can you hear us? It’s us, StarMan and Golddust! We found a way to make the transmissions work, it’s on the side of the wrist. Also, we’ve arrived at the navigation room, and you wouldn’t believe what we found. . . “

A brief explanation later. . .

“. . . right. Okay. . . Um- so, you’re telling me that we don’t know where we are exactly?” - muttered SilkCat.

“Pretty much” - Said Golddust, rather unfazed.

“Fuck me”

“Well, it could be worse” - Said Ares.

“No, I actually think it couldn’t be worse” - muttered SilkCat, slightly angry - “Hrng, I gues we’ll have to check out that ‘new world’. Who came up with that name?”

“I did” - Said Golddust.

“That checks out”

A second after that, SilkCat faced all of the NPCs of the Golden Bloom.

“Well, we seem to be in some sort of trouble here. I’m gonna be honest with y’all, we don’t know where we are. For all I know, we might even be on another plane of existence, so, I expect some surprise, even shock from some of you. Unfortunately, we don’t have time for that now. We’re putting our sights at a new world here, so-”

“bro stop yapping and get to the point” - Interrupted Ares.

“ . . . really?”

“Really. Summarize it”

“Okay, In summary, we’re gonna go on an assessment of the planet! Any questions?”

Everyone started talking amongst themselves, discussing the situation, what to ask, and the whole situation. One of the liches, Aggrido, spoke up.

“What are the orders, boss?”

“ . . . heh, well, that’s a good question, isn’t it? Well, of course, we’ll go down and see for ourselves. Once we’ve-”

Ares slaps SilkCat

“Summarize”

“okay okay! Me, Ares, Golddust and StarMan will go down and check on the land closer to here, then we'll see what we do. For the meantime, all Liches and Sisters will be patrolling the dojo while we’re outside. We can’t risk anyone raiding the dojo”

“Sounds good then. Heard the bosses, boys, time to patrol” - Reaffirmed Aggrido

“Sure thing boss! . . . Also could we talk about that raise later?” - Commented one of the Sisters.

“. . . Yes, Vidia, we’ll talk about it later”

“YES!” Exclaimed her, happily, while she was getting out.

“. . . “

“. . . “

“Everyone else, please return to your duties. I’ll answer any other questions tomorrow, before we go checking out the new planet”

After the little talk, both tenno parties reunited in front of the Railjack.

SilkCat looks rather tired.

“Well that was pretty good! Didn’t know you had that leader vibe bro!” - Claimed Ares

“That’s because I don’t. I’m like, super nervous”

“Nah, don’t be. You did great! Well anyways, how did it go for you two?”

“Well, we found out the bar we made at the navigation works, so, pretty great!” - Said Golddust, cheerfully.

“Yep, and we also found out that all of the decoration NPCs are also ‘alive’ now”

“Well, that’s a big ass crew” - Said StarMan, nonchalant.

“Yep. Luckily, we have these pretty big warships, so ,we should have no problem with that”

“Wait, we’ll be taking the Railjacks to get down?”

“What the hell, no! We’ll take our landing craft, since it has stealth and invisibility systems implemented. We should take a rather stealthy approach, we don’t know how strong are they. Besides, THAT’S A FUCKING NUCLEAR WARSHIP. Why in the world would you-”

“You’re worrying too much, bro. We’re tenno, we literally can’t die”

“. . . Are we even tenno!?”

“Well, now we’re our avatars, and we’re recognized as such. Aren’t we supposed to be immortal?"

“Well- uh, how are you even so sure about that!? Have you tried dying? Yes, we were immortal on the other game! But we don’t even know if it works like that here, or if our connection to the void is still plenty active-”

As soon as he finished saying “active”, Ares shot out a fierce void ray that slightly damaged the hull of the dojo.

“I think we’re still pretty connected to the void, if the migraines didn’t give you a clue” - Claimed Ares, as if he was saying the most obvious thing in the world.

“. . . Fine, fine, whatever. I still think we should take a stealthy approach. AND send scanners to get a good picture of the planet. We shouldn’t go down just yet.”

“I’m not saying we shouldn’t, I’m saying you shouldn’t be so worried about it”

“. . . Okay, I won’t. Let’s just. . . get to it. . . I’ll be on my room, if you need anyt-”

And then, SilkCat disappeared in a flash.

“-hing. . . Uh, wh- ho- . . .Oh wait so that’s how the teleport works. Neat”

He was now in his room.

Meanwhile, somewhere else, on New World . . .

“...No, this is not something I can claim for myself. Perhaps these jewels are meant to adorn the Great Tomb of Nazarick; myself, and my friends from Ainz Ooal Gown.”

“...What a moving statement. If is your wish, then by your command, I shall lead Nazarick’s forces to claim this chest of jewels. I, Demiurge would like nothing more than to present this chest of jewels to my lord and master, Momonga-sama.”

Those cheesy lines made Momonga chuckle. He wondered if Demiurge had been intoxicated by the atmosphere as well.

“As long as we do not know anything about the beings which live in this world, I can only say that your idea is foolish. For all we know, we might be minuscule weaklings in this world. However, conquering this world might be quite interesting. . . Wait, is that a castle in the sky?”

Chapter 3: Preparations And True Arrival

Chapter Text

“Oh wait, can we teleport here now?” - claimed Ares, calmly. - “Well, I guess I’ll see y’all later then, I’ll be going to my roo-”

In the instant he announced his intentions, Ares was already gone.

“ . . . Wait, since when do we have rooms?” - Said Golddust, rather confused.

“We don’t” - Responded StarMan. - “We never made our rooms”

“Well that sucks”

“Also, since when do we have scanners that can scan a whole planet?”

“Honestly? I have no clue.”

After some time, in the room of SilkCat. He was checking into the scanners he sent a couple of minutes ago.

His room was a mix of black and red, with little furniture: just a sofa, a table with a really old computer, and a bed. Ayatan statues decorated the walls, as well as the whole roof, and as the final touch, a roomba.

SilkCat was in bed, checking onto his bracelet, which was showing a holographic scan of an area around 200 km wide.

“ . . . well, this seems strange. . . “ - Thought SilkCat - “The scanners seem to have detected some kind of civilization.

A city on the east. . . some buildings more to the south. . . and seems the relay is just right now passing right above some mountains”

A knock on the metallic door startled SilkCat, and after a bit, Ares came in.

“Hey”

“Hey”

“What are you doing?”

“Checking on the scanned area”

“Is the scanning already finished?”

“Well I settled for a smaller area, around 200 km”

“Aha. . . I see. . . How the fuck IS that a small area?”

“Comparing it to the whole world.”

“Uh… fair point. Anyways. . . what do we have close here?”

“I’ll send you a copy of the map. I figured out how the communications works, too. Only the clan comms work, though.”

After a thorough review of the map, they finally concluded that-

“Yep, we definitely don’t know where we are, do we?” - Muttered SilkCat, frustrated.

“Well, I sure as hell don’t know, but it looks like the buildings look rather antique” - Emphasized Ares. - “So, I guess we’ll have to go down there, you know, check it out ourselves”

“ . . . yes, I guess we’ll have to”

“I’ll go take my stuff”

“Good. right behind you. I’ll tell Starman and Golddust the details.”

“Shouldn’t we build our own rooms?” - Questioned Golddust, a bit annoyed.

“Well, I mean, do you know how could we build another room?” - Asked StarMan - “I mean, I don’t know you, but I have no damn clue how to build”

“ . . . I mean, weren’t there any engineers around here that could help us with that? There’s plenty of people around here”

“Sure, go ask”

“. . . could we, like, go together?”

“Awww, are you afraid of asking for yourself?”

“No? Uh, maybe? Sort of?”

“ . . . Let’s just ask someone later”

“Why later?”

“Check your bracelet”

[15:29] SilkyCat: Hey, StarMan, Golddust

[15:40] Golddust5545: Wtf, how does this still even work?

[15:41] SilkyCat: Irrelevant. Get ready, we're going down there. I need you two to get simple weapons, no guns, as well as an armor-looking frame

[15:42] Golden_StarMan: Really? Right now?

[15:42] SilkyCat: Are you doing anything?

[15:42] Golden_StarMan: No, just asking

[15:43] Golddust5545: Nobody is gonna comment on how we kept the same usernames in the chat?

[15:44] SilkyCat: Irrelevant, get ready. I'll meet you two on the Dry Dock

“I guess we’ll have to leave the ‘building our rooms’ for later” - Commented Golddust.

“Well, I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time later on.” - Replied StarMan, while starting to walk towards the docks. - “Plus, if we go down, we could probably get something to fill the rooms with! Who knows what type of things must be down there”

“. . . I think we shouldn’t take anything, specially considering we don’t know how this world works” - Says Golddust.

“ . . . Spoilsport”

“Oh come on! You know I’m right”

“Nope, you’re not”

And so, the couple had a brief discussion, until they arrived.

While going to the landing docks, their ships awaited them.

Ares’s ship was triangular, painted in blue and red, and with rather simple decorations.

Golddust’s ship was rather striking, close to the one of Ares, but painted in a layer of gold, and heavily decorated with such.

StarMan’s ship was a long, green ship, with some blade-like decorations on the side.

SilkCat’s ship was a giant bulb, painted in black and red, and loaded with weapons. A rather bold ship in comparison.

“Okay, so, how are we doing this?” - Asked Goldduse.

“Easy. We’ll take our landing crafts, and we’ll descend in one of the greenfields we’re close to” - Said SilkCat, calmly

“So, then we’ll check out the area around, maybe search for some people?” - Asked Ares.

“Yep, pretty much so”

“And, what do we take?” - Questioned StarMan. - “Because I was thinking in bringing Kho-”

“Don’t. That one is too . . . striking” - SilkCat cut her off.

“Ok, asshole . . . and what about Mag? I’m not too fond of him, but. . . “

“How about Loki?” - Asked Golddust.

“Hm . . . I think it should be fine”

“Well, I’ll be taking Volt then?” - Conferred Ares

“And I’ll be taking Excalibur”

After a bit of discussing their weaponry, the tenno went their ways to get geared up.

Each tenno took their ships, and went to the void of space.

In the exterior of the dojo, four shapes uncoupled from the dojo’s dock, the orbiters, antique Orokin constructs, one third house, one third warehouse, and one third headquarters, undetectable except from the Tenno owner.

The tenno ship docked in a dedicated spot on the front, and they finally geared up properly.

In a room full of flasks, fishes in tanks, and investigation tools, Ares was choosing his equipment.

“. . . Fuck it, I’m going full Stalker”

In a room rather green, naturalistic, full of life and plants, Golddust was indecisive about what to bring.

“Uhhhhh, what do I choose, what do I . . . uh, I guess I’ll take the Paris Prime, classic. Eh, what else. . .  uh, the Hikou Prime will work probably. . . and. . . Uh, the Skana. . . I mean, with all of the other stuff. . . It’s pretty nice whatsoever. Okay, I’m set”

In a room filled to the brim with balls, toys, beds and half of the species and fauna of 10 worlds, StarMan was searching around for some equipment that fit her style.

“Hrng . . . what to choose, what toooooooo- Oh, yeah, this bow. . . uh, the red Cernos, I think his name was . . . Rakta, or something . . . I’ll also take a Lato, classic, and. . . uh, not this, not that. HERE! The Rakta Dark Dagger. Fully set on then”

And finally, in a room full of perpetual motion statues, golden pillars, golden fishes, trophies and roombas, SilkCat had already chosen his equipment.

“Okay, so I’ll be bringing my Burston Prime with the incarnon installed,  one of my seven Lex Primes, the one without the incarnon, and the Nikana Prime. As beautiful as ever, aren’t you girls? I’ll check if they’re all set.”

[19:41] SilkyCat: Yo! Everyone’s ready?

[19:42] Golden_StarMan: Yep, ready as one can be. A bit nervous.

[19:42] Golddust5545: Set and ready to go. What about Ares?

[19:43] AresGod50k: ****** I’ve been ready since 19:00 how the **** did y’all take so long to prepare.

[19:43] AresGod50k: No ******* way the censorship still applies.

[19:44] Golden_Starman: Lmaoooo

[19:44] Golddust5545: Bruh, epic.

[19:45] SilkyCat: . . . I’ll be taking that as a yes. We’re going in 5 minutes. Out.

“Which brings to me the question . . . Ordis?” -Shouted SilkCat.

“Yes, Operator?” - Answered the ship’s cephalon.

“Good to see you still kicking. Can you trace a route for us all to the earth, if possible?”

“No problem operator, just let me check for the area a bit and -WHAT THE-, It seems we’re on a different planet, operator!”

“Yep, we figured that much 6 hours ago. Will that be a problem?”

“Not at all! Coordinates have been applied. If you need something, feel free to -GO DO IT YOURSELF- ask for anything!”

“. . . yep, I will surely do”

Once their equipment settled, the four of them descended into this new land, on a swift ride.

In another place, on another kingdom, a knight was running desperately, quickly entering into the throne room.

There, on the throne, sat the old king of the Re-Estrize Kingdom: Ramposa III

The knight quickly kneeled in front of his king.

“Your majesty! Forgive me for my rushed entrance, but I bring news from great importance!”

The king rose his head from a scroll he was reading, and looked at his knight.

“There’s no need to apologize, but, do tell me, what news do you bring?”

“Yes! There's been a sighting of something in the sky. Some of the astrologers say it looks like some kind of... castle.”

“Huh. . . a castle in the sky . . . that’s quite interesting. . . Tell the astrologers to keep a close look on it, just as a precaution”

“Yes, your majesty”

The nameless knight left as fast as he arrived, leaving the king with some doubt in his mind.

“A castle in the sky. It sounds a bit unbelievable. . . but perhaps. . . “

Meanwhile, in a giant tomb, hidden in plain sight:

“Impressive. . . It’s no easy feat to create a floating castle. . . the creatures in this realm must be quite skilled if they are capable of such feats! And that terrifying magic that emanates from there! We shall be a bit more careful with our advancements. But worry not, Momonga-sama, I’m sure they shall be no problem for us.” - Commented a Red-dressed Devil.

“Um . . . yes, I too think we should . . .uh, be careful” - Said a dark-skinned elf 'girl'

“. . . to think there are creatures this strong here. . . Maybe there are players too?” - Thought Momonga to himself, looking at the sky.

In a far away kingdom, from a small window, a platinum-scaled dragon looked beyond the great tower.

He said nothing, but a weary sigh resounded throughout the kingdom.

In another kingdom, some old figures in religious robes whisper in fear and worry, commenting about the giant castle that rose in the skies.

“We don’t know if it’s dangerous, but we shouldn’t be weary of it”

“We should send someone to check it-”

“Who do we send to the sky!?”

“Silence. We cannot afford to panic now. We shall wait and see.”

“. . . Indeed”

Their landing crafts seamlessly landed on the jade grounds, and from them, four humanoid creatures descended.

The perfect communion between iron, flesh and Void. The Warframes, tenno’s garments, the definitive creations of the Orokin, and their last weapons.

Excalibur, a white, black and red warframe, with a protrusion emerging from its head, almos looking like a horn.

Volt, a greenish-yellowish warframe, with some basic armor in its arms, looking like tesla coils.

Mag, a blueish warframe, her arms being enveloped in a thick iron rope. Her helmet shining like the starry sky.

And finally, Loki, a green-looking warframe, with a hammer-like head.

The breeze of the New World caresses the four Tenno, who land on a green field. Before them appear enormous mountains, lush forests in the distance, and, if they strain their eyes a little, a column of smoke, and in the distance, they can barely recognise a camp, with the faint sound of metal clashing.

Ares and SilkCat stopped to enjoy the clean, pure air. It had been a long time since they had breathed such fresh, pollution-free air.

Golddust and StarMan marveled at the forests and hills, and the world of nature before them.

“This feels . . . nice” - calmly said SilkCat - “It looks . . . beautiful”

“Yes, it feels quite nice. I think this could be the start of a pretty nice adventure” - Claimed Ares, with emotion in his voice. He, from everyone else, seemed the most excited about this event

“Haaah. . . well, I guess you’re not wrong. . .”

“Yep. Well, what do you say we go exploring that pillar of smoke?”

“Sounds great to me. HEY! Goldy, Star, we're going to go towards the pillar of smoke.”

“Sure sure, we’ll have to cross the forest, won't we? We can stop and take notes on the different species if we find them?" - Asked Golddust, with excitement in his voice.

“OH! OH! If we find some kind of dog or wolf or whatever, can we take it to the dojo? Please?” - Asked StarMan, excited, too.

“Well, I don’t think we should disturb the fauna of this place, at least not without a bit of knowledge about it”

“What Golddust said, first we learn, then we capture” - Conferred SilkCat.

“. . . Fine. . .” - Said StarMan, grumpy.

“We’ll take a walk to there, if everyone agrees”

“Fine by me”

“Works real well, I can take better notes like that”

“If we can see animals, then I’m in too”

“Then, let’s start walking”
