Chapter Text

Eugene: Well this is my first time meeting my new roommate (Wednesdays younger brother Pugsley) and honestly I’m not to fond of him. He’s already talked about eating my bugs like his creepy uncle. IVE KNOWN THIS GUY FOR TEN MINUTES AND HES ALREADY TALKING ABOUT EATING MY PETS!!! Also he seems utterly fascinated by the fact that I got attacked by a Hyde. And he already shocked me and my only reply to that was “electricity…cool” he wants to hang out with me and my friends. CAN HE NOT READ THE ROOM I don’t want to be friends with this absolute freak. I only ever agreed to be his roommate because I owe Wednesday a lot.

Pugsley: I just met my new roommate! He’s soooooo cool and he has a collection of tasty snacks…like a buffet. He’s also REALLY cute. Which made me nervous…I accidentally shocked him. I don’t think he likes me though I asked if we could hang out and he brushed me off and made excuses. I don’t know what to do to make him like me. Maybe I’ll find some bugs and gift them to him? I don’t know I just really want him to like me. Like…a lot

Two or so weeks later (Pugsleys pov)

I think Eugene is beginning to warm up to me. He’s stop threatening to sting me with his bees when I try to eat his bugs. But also I think for his sake I might stop trying to eat his bugs or any bugs at all. he seems to really care for them and I think it’s cute. anyway the other day I went into to woods to try and find bugs to give him (very unsuccessfully they all ran from me) but I found that skull tree thingy that Ajax told us there was a boy with a clock work heart buried under. I used my power to start his heart! Now I have a pet zombie I’m keeping him in Eugene’s hummer shed. We’ve named him slurp! Well ar least I did. Eugene isn’t very fund of the whole thing but I think he’ll get used to it

Eugene: this absolute moron brought a ZOMBIE into MY hummer shed. Is he insane or just FUCKIN dense.

“Why would you bring a fucking ZOMBIE into MY hummer shed!” Eugene side with extreme annoyance “well I couldn’t just leave him in the woods!”
“YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO BIRNG HIM HERE!!!” “WELL I DID SO WHAT!” Pugsley said aggressively “What were you doing in the woods anyway?” “I was…looking for bugs … for you. I thought if I gifted you some you’d like me more and let me hang out with you” Pugsley said sheepishly “that’s actually sweet” Eugene said with a hint of regret tainting his voice. Pugsley stayed quiet for a moment then left without a word.

Eugene:
He…wanted to gift me bugs…? I thought he hated me. I’ve been so mean to him but he wanted to impress me? Maybe I should give him a chance he seems so genuine so …sweet. I didn’t know he was capable of feeling anything like at all. Apparently he’s not as much like Wednesday and the Addams family as a thought. Maybe he’s different maybe he’s just misunderstood. Like I was.

Pugsley:
Me and Eugene haven’t talked in days I miss his voice. I think I like him…as more then a friend I’ve always known I liked the way men look more then women. I’ve never felt this way about anyone. I think I’m…in love with him he is so precious the way his curly dark hair falls over his face perfectly, his deep brown eyes, his cute awkwardness, his beautiful smile and that stupidly awkward laugh of his.

Eugene and Pugsley are in the dorm alone for the first time in a while “Pugsley…I’m sorry I…” Eugene says with genuine sadness leaking from his voice. “Just stop. Eugene I understand you don’t want to be friends with me Im weird I get it. I’ll stop trying. I’ll leave you alone. I’ve requested a dorm change.” “Wait no! Pugsley I… don’t want you to go” “what…?” Pugsley says with utter confusion “you’re the first person that has actually wanted to be my friend. All the other guys just want to be seen with me for popularity. I know Ive been mean to you but now I understand because I used to be you. So please just stay give me a chance.” “What do you mean by that… ‘I used to be you’?” “I used to get treated the same way. Like a weirdo like I was to weird even for the outcasts.” Eugene continues “and then I helped your sister save the school and suddenly everyone wants to be friends with me.” “So you want to be friends…with me?” “Indeed” Eugene says gently.

Pugsley goes to talk with Wednesday “Eugene agreed to be my friend!” “Pugsley. You’re showing too much emotion. You’re weak” “Wednesday I’m not like you! I have feelings and you can’t change that!” “Then I’ll water bored you till you stop” Wednesday says in that flat emotionless tone “Wednesday I…have something to tell you…” “go on.l Wednesday says attempting to hide the curiousness in her voice “it’s Eugene…I think I like him as more then a friend.” Pugsley admits for the first time out loud “Jesus Christ” Wednesday says in her usual tone “I think I need to take it slow and actually get to know him and allow him to get to know me before I tell him though.”

Pugsley:
I finally told someone about my crush on Eugene. It feels like weight has been lifted off me I feel so light. He’s so cute.

Pugsley sees Eugene in the hallway in between his English and agriculture classes and
Begins grinning so wide his face hurts “HEY EUGENE!!” Pugsley exclaims ecstatically overly excited to see the dark haired boy. Eugene is walking with some of his ‘friends’. “Are you friends with the weirdo Eugene…?” One boy says. Another begins egging him on “yeah I thought you didn’t like him” “didn’t he almost kill you by bringing that stupid zombie back to life?” “He’s actually really nice and you guys would know that if you’d give him a chance!” Eugene says with a hint of anger in his voice. “Yeah whatever he’s just a loser weirdo” someone says under their breath Eugene storms off in a cloud of extreme anger.

I few days later Eugene decided to break off those friendships (and sting them with his bees for being mean to pugs) also the principal found about the zombie and the boys almost got expelled.

Pugsley wakes up to Eugene screaming. He’s having a nightmare about the Hyde. Pugsley wakes him up Eugene begins hitting at Pugsley and still screaming. Pugsley pulls the slightly smaller boy into his arm in a tight hug restraining him but helping to calm him. Eugene begins to feel calmer and comes back to his senses and realizes he is in Pugsleys arms. But instead of scrambling to get out of his arms he stays as still as possible. He feels safe and calm like this the safety of Pugsleys arms felt like something unreal. So safe so warm they stay there silent for a few minutes and then release from each other’s grasp. “What was that…..?” Eugene says clam but slightly confused “you were having a nightmare so I woke you” “yes but after” Eugene says still slightly confused “uh I don’t know.” “Listen we have Class in the morning it’s almost 3am I say we go back to sleep and don’t talk about for now” Pugsley says tiredness leaking from every pore in his body. “When ever this happens I can’t go back to sleep the nightmares come back as soon as I drift off” Eugene admits “I felt safe in your arms pugs. The most safe I’ve felt since the…attack” “do you…want to sleep in my bed tonight? I mean the dorm beds are small but I’m sure we can fit you’re pretty small.” He says with slight amusement “I’m not small!” Eugene exclaims “but I will take you up on that offer” Pugsley gets into his bed while Eugene grabs his pillow.

Eugene slides in to the small space left on the bed after placing his pillow down. He begins to drift off and the nightmare begins again but instead of waking him this time Pugsley wrapped his arms around Eugene and pulled him closer. The slight movement wakes Eugene “pugs…what are you…” Pugsley cuts him off “just get some sleep Eugene” they both drift off for about 3 more hours. when they wake up in the morning they are now even closer Eugene is practically on top of Pugsley he doesn’t mind though Eugene isn’t very big. They lay there for a few more moments before getting up and getting ready for class Eugene begins thinking

Eugene:
Did I just cuddle with someone? For the first time. And with a…boy? But I liked it does that make me gay? No I’ve liked girls before. Maybe I’m bisexual. I think I like Pugsley though as more than a friend.

10 minutes later
Pugsley has already left and arrived at English class Eugene got to class late and the only open seat was next to Pugsley. They sit through that class in awkward silence. English is the only class they have together so they don’t have to talk till they are back in the dorm alone.

In the dorms around 7pm:
“Eugene I have something I want to tell you” Pugsley say sheepishly “go ahead” Eugene say with a hint curiousness “I don’t want this to affect our friendship in any way.” Pugsley says with worry dripping from his voice. Eugene is beginning to get worried “I think I like you…” “as more than a friend” “umm… Pugs I don’t know what to say” Eugene says knowing he wants to tell pugs he feels the same “ I know you don’t like men and it’s fine if you don’t want to be friends anymore. And it’s ok if you want to change dorms and…” “PUGSLEY!” Eugene cuts him off to stop him from spiraling “I…feel…I feel the same way” Eugene admits “what?” “I feel the same way pugs I like you as more then a friend too I’m just still trying to work it out your the first male Ive ever felt attracted too.”

Chapter Text

Two weeks or so later Pugsley and Eugene are still trying to figure out exactly what they feel for each other. Except Pugsley knows he’s definitely in love with Eugene. But Eugene isn’t quite sure what to make of his feelings. He doesn’t understand how he could have feelings for a man let alone Wednesdays younger brother.

Eugene:
I mean it not so weird that i have feelings for a man I mean hell I have two moms. I just…never expected it do be Pugsley especially after that stunt he pulled with the zombie. But will I be known as the gay kid because I love a boy? I don’t want to be the weird kid anymore…again.

Pugsley:
I want Eugene more then anything more then roadkill potpie. More than I wanted a guillotine when I was 8. He’s so fascinating. The way his face lights up when he talks about his bugs and the way he gets embarrassed when I catch him staring at me. He’s so cute.

Pugsley and Eugene finally decide to have THE TALK after putting it off and tip toeing around it for weeks they FINALLY are going to talk out how they feel about each other and if they want to progress to a relationship. “Eugene we need to talk about our feelings for each other we can’t put it off anymore.” Pugsley says entering their dorm. “I’ve been wanting to talk to you about this so it’s good that we are on the same page” Eugene say almost immediately “I really like you more then I’ve liked anyone and I know it’s a lot because we are both men but I think we could work if we try”

Eugene thinks for a moment and then begins “I feel the same… but I don’t think we should jump into a relationship right away. We’ve just found out how we feel about each other and…well I don’t want to be known as the gay kid it was already hard enough getting bullied for being a loner.” Eugene admits genuinely “I think that we should be able to love who we love without feeling judged…and who cares what everyone thinks Eugene I want to be with you…forever.” Pugsley begins inching closer to Eugene inspecting every one of his perfect feature. Eugene begins getting closer as well.

Pugsley sits down on his bed Eugene still getting closer and closer as they speak. Eugene gets so close to Pugsley that his legs are now between Pugsleys. He begins leaning towards Pugsleys face. looking in to his eyes. Pugsley gets tired of the tension and pulls Eugene by the collar of his shirt they meet lips. Gently kissing Eugene he pulls back out of surprise. Pugsley looks at him as if he will combust if Eugene doesn’t kiss him.

Eugene leans back in kissing Pugsley carefully as to not cut him with his braces (not that Pugsleys would mind) but Eugene doesn’t want to hurt him they kiss for a few more seconds before Eugene gets nervous and backs away. They fall into an awkward silence for a moment before Pugsleys starts “Eugene I don’t know what I was thinking sorr-“ Eugene cuts him off abruptly “Pugsley…I don’t mind” Eugene is now a bright shade of red. With a mix of confusion and pleasure on his face. “So did THAT change your thoughts about a relationship?!” “Uh I think so…?” Eugene says still confused “Eugene…are you ok…?” Pugsley says slightly worried to the now bright red boy

Eugene:
Did I just kiss Pugsley?! I think I liked it? I-I-I’m not sure

“Eugene” “Eugene” “EUGENE!” Eugene snaps back into existence. And looks at Pugsley attempting to find words but he can’t. Pugsley pulls Eugene into his arms as close as he can get him and holds him there for a while before eventually Eugene wraps his arm around Pugsley. The only thing Eugene can manage to say is “I love you pugs”.

Pugsley:
He said he loves me like actually said it!
“Pugsley I think actually i want to be together and you’re right we shouldn’t care what other people think.” Eugene says slightly nervous “well then on that note Eugene Ottinger can I be your boyfriend?” “Yes!” Eugene replies proudly “it’s almost 3am we have class at 6 we should get some sleep” Pugsley says with a tired smile on his face “well who’s bed are we sleeping in?” “Oh definitely mine” with that Pugsley and Eugene cram in to the small dorm bed and drift off.

The next day before class Pugsley goes to see his older sister to tell her about him and Eugene’s relationship. (Of course leaving out the whole kiss thing so she doesn’t attempt to murder him) “heyyyy Wednesday” “why are you in such a good mood I already told you emotion is a sign of weakness Pugsley.” “Wellllll I have something to tell you! It’s very important!” “Let me guess it’s about bee boy” “why yes it is Infact” Pugsley says attempting (and failing) to hide how ecstatic he is. “Go on and you have 30 seconds to talk or I’ll chop your limbs off one by one” “me and Eugene…are…together as in dating” Pugsley says desperate for his older sister’s approval “ew” “but good for you I guess” Wednesday says unimpressed (but deep down she feels happy for her little brother) then Pugsley hears a squeaky squeal. He turns to find that Enid is in the dorm and overly excited about this news. Enid begins talking at an impossible rate and asking questions “tell me the story from the beginning” “how did it happened?” Pugsley cuts her off “sorry I’m gonna be late to class see you guys later!” He says already out the door.

On the way to class him and Eugene meet up to walk to together joining hands as they walk. Some people gave them weird looks and began whispering but they didn’t care all they knew was they loved each other and that was all that mattered. By lunch the news that they were dating had spread like wildfire (there was no doubt Enid told everyone) but that was for the better at least they didn’t have to tell everyone.

Chapter Text

Two days later
“Sooo since we are like boyfriends now…we can to go to the gala together!” Pugsley say’s overly excited. “YES!” Eugene says even more excited than Pugsley. In reality Eugene was just happy to hear Pugsley call him his boyfriend. “We should start planning what we should wear!” Pugsley says “yeah totally!” Eugene and Pugsley plan their outfits (it took hours because Eugene is picky) by the time they are done it’s already 3am “Pugs I think we should sleep we still have a half day tomorrow” Eugene says exhausted. “Whose bed?” Pugsley says also exhausted “yours of course” the boys get into bed and drift off quickly.

The next day they attend their first 3 classes as normal but have the rest of their class excused so students can get ready for the gala. Pugsley and Eugene meet back in their dorm “why did they let us out of class sooo early if the gala doesn’t start till 6” Pugsley says confused “well girls take long to get ready” once they are done getting ready they still have 2 hours till the gala begins “what do we do for the next 2 hours?” Eugene says “I have a few ideas” Pugsley says in a flirtatious tone as he gets closer to Eugene.

Eugene closes the gap between them and begins to slowly kiss Pugsley. Pugsley starts kissing Eugene as if he was hungry for more. Eugene begins moving down to Pugsleys neck leaving small hickeys on his jawline and down his neck. He kisses back up his neck and then Pugsley begins moving down Eugene’s neck leaving the same hickeys down Eugene’s neck but instead of moving back up he began kissing Eugene’s collar bone. Then suddenly Eugene’s shirt is off and Pugsley is kissing his neck but Eugene backs to an abrupt stop. “Pugsley someone is coming down the hallway.” Eugene says putting his shirt back on while the small red marks turn purple and blue.

“Damn it Ajax!” “What did I do !?” Ajax says confused “nothing never mind” Pugsley says dismissively “what do you need Ajax?” Eugene says slightly annoyed “I was just asking if you guys were going to the gala…and with who” “oh you don’t know yet?” Pugsley says “know what?” “Me and Eugene are together like together together.” “WHAT?? HOW COME NO ONE TOLD ME!!” “I thought Enid told everyone…?” Eugene’s says “well me and Enid broke up and haven’t talked in weeks so…No” “ok well now you know that yes we are going and we are going together. So can you leave now”Eugene say once again annoyed “yeah I guess you guys can go back to what you were doing” Ajax says grinning once Ajax left they kissed just once gently and sweet.

“You think Ajax knew what we were doing?” “Probably but I don’t care” Pugsley says “there’s still an hour till the gala” Pugsley says annoyed “I’m gonna go to the hummer shed you can come with if you want” “yeah I’d like that I’d like to spend some quality time with my boyfriend” Eugene blushes at that. Once they get to the hummer shed Eugene begins trending to his bees while Pugsley watches lovingly

Pugsley:
Wow he’s so cute I love the way he loves his bees. And the way he loves me he’s so sweet and gentle andddd sooooo beautiful in his gala outfit.

Eugene begins telling Pugsley more facts about bees “did you know a single worker bee produces only about 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime” Pugsley just listens to him talk “hey bee boy it’s time to go to the gala” “oh yeah let’s go!” On their way to the gala they join hands as usual. Once they arrive at the gala they sit with Wednesday and Enid (who are totally dating) while principal Dort gave his speech.

Eugene and Pugsley decided to leave early and go explore the woods. They go to the cemetery (Pugsley somehow convinced Eugene to come with) they were sitting and talking when Pugsley leaned in a started kiss Eugene again. This time though neither one held back kissing like they are hungry for more and more. Pugsley eventually had Eugene pinned against a tree. Eugene wrapped his legs around Pugsleys waste. Pugsley runs his hands through Eugene’s hair. Eugene does the same eventually they snap back and realize they probably shouldn’t be making out in the middle of the woods “pugs we shouldn’t be doing this it’s dangerous” Eugene says having flashbacks to when he was attacked by the Hyde. “I’m scared pugs please can we go!” Eugene says getting more nervous by the second “it’s ok Eugene we can go. Come on” Pugsley says so gently Eugene practically melts. They once again join hands and begin walking back to the school instead of going back to the gala.

They get back to the dorm and decide to go to sleep (in Pugsleys bed of course) Pugsley wakes up to Eugene screaming and having a nightmare once again Pugsleys feels bad knowing he’s the reason Eugene was in the woods in the first place and he knew that was the reason he was having the nightmare. He pulls Eugene close and crosses his arms over his chest “Eugene my love your ok I’m here” Pugsley says gently attempting to calm Eugene down. Eugene begins to calm down “I love you Pugsley.” Eugene says in a tired voice before drifting back off.

Chapter Text

Eugene and Pugsley have to part ways for the summer. Eugene feels sick knowing that he will be without the only person who has been able to calm him after a nightmare. Pugsley is sad knowing he will have to leave his favorite person for the next 3 months. “Pugsley there is only 2 days till we have to leave each other for the summer.” Eugene says “yes I know my love.” Pugsley says gently rubbing Eugene’s back “well we should do something together as a last little send off. Like go to Jericho and have lunch nothing big.” “Like a date?” Pugsley says ”yes like a date”Eugene says excitedly “hm our fist date that sounds nice” “well anyway you figure out where you would like to go and we can talk at lunch I have to go see Wednesday.” Pugsley says getting up and kissing Eugene’s forehead. “Bye pugs!” Eugene says as Pugsley is walking out the door.

“Wednesdayyyyyy” Pugsley begins as he opens the door to her dorm only to find…her and Enid kissing “I KNEW IT!!” Pugsley exclaims “I knew you guys were together!” Pugsley says “PUGSLEY!” Wednesday yells with more emotion than usual “WHY WOULD YOU WALK IN WITHOUT KNOCKING!” Wednesday says walking towards “well I wasn’t expecting you to be kissing Enid when I walked in duhh.” Pugsley says with an attitude “what were you coming here to talk about anyway” Wednesday says attempting to hide the fact she wants to murder him for ruining the best moment of her life. “Eugene is taking me on a date in Jericho!” “AWWWWWWWW” Enid says from behind Wednesday “THATS SOO CUTE! Where are you guys going?” Enid says in a high pitched voice “well he’s planning where to go I think he wants it to be a surprise” “well that’s cute” Enid says completely joining the conversation now “no it’s not.” Wednesday says in a murderess tone “Wednesday don’t be mean to him this is his first relationship he’s gonna be excited about things” “well I’m disgusted by it.” “Not the whole part about him being in a relationship with a man I always knew that would happen I’m disgusted by the emotion he’s showing” Wednesday clarifies “well if it means anything I’m happy for you and Eugene.” Enid says

With that Pugsley leaves their dorm to let them go back to what they were doing before. He goes to his first class of the day where of course he sits next to Eugene as usual. “Have you figured out where you wanna go yet?” Pugsley says whispering so they don’t get detention for talking in class. “No not yet I’ll know by the time it’s time to go” “what time exactly would that be” Pugsley says Eugene tends to leave out big details like day and time when he’s excited but Pugsley try’s to make him not feel bad about it. “Oh yeah right I forgot that part sorry” “it’s ok Eugene it happens.” Pugsley says still waiting for the answer “I was thinking we could skip the rest of the day after this and go to Jericho” “sounds good honey bee.” Pugsley says “hm honey bee that’s new I like it” Eugene says beginning to blush “I was just thinking about how you have a cute nickname for me but I don’t have any for you and honey bee is fitting for you” “I love it.” Eugene says realizing that Pugsley was nervous about it.

“PUGSLEY AND EUGENE ARE YOU TALKING IN MY CLASS ?? LUNCH DETENTION FOR BOTH OF YOU!” “shit” Pugsley says “well there goes our date plans”Eugene says in a annoyed tone “no no no we can still have our date we just have to figure out how to get out of detention” “well how will we do that ms.smith is our strictest teacher” Eugene says “I think I know how.” “Pugs how” “don’t worry about it I have an idea.”

Pugsley goes to talk with Ajax once he gets out of class. “Ajax I need a big favor from you” Pugsley says trying to sound convincing “it depends on what the favor is and why” Ajax says in a mischievous tone “I need you to stall ms.smith with your snakes because I…I have a date and she gave me lunch detention” “oohhh who’s the lucky lady” “lucky man*” Pugsley corrects “me and Eugene are dating remember” “oh yeah I forgot sorry. But yeah I can stall her when? And I’m gonna need a favor in return.” Ajax says “during lunch and what favor do you need?” “I need a favor for bee boy” “well I have an easy time convincing him of things so tell me what it is” Pugsley says with a smile “I need him to attack Enid new boyfriend with some bugs” Ajax says smiling “oh he’s not a problem anymore don’t worry” “…what does that mean?” Ajax says confused “ask Enid.” Pugsley says walking off.<

Pugsley finds Eugene walking in the hallway “ms.smith isn’t a problem anymore” Pugsley says ominously “pugs please tell me you didn’t commit a crime.” Eugene says putting his head him his hands “nope” “then what did you do…?” Eugene says questioning him “let’s just say she won’t be a problem for about an hour” “Pugsley Addams. Are you telling me you asked Ajax to stall her” “perhaps” Pugsley says grinning for ear to ear “PUGSLEY!” “WHAT I TOLD YOU ID TAKE CARE OF IT” “you got Ajax to stall out English teacher.” Eugene says annoyed “it’s not like I’m harming her in anyway you’re such a goodie two shoes ugh.” Im not a goodie two shoes” “oh yes you are.” “Anyway let’s get off campus before you chicken out” Pugsley says walking to a side door of the school “pugs I’m not a goodie two shoes” “honey I was joking.” “God I hate you.” “No you don’t. Pugsley says in a flirty tone.

Pugsley and Eugene finally get off campus and begin the short journey to the town of Jericho “have you decided where we are going yet?” “I was thinking we could just go to get pizza.” “Sounds good honey bee.” Eugene begins blushing at the nickname once again. When they finally get to Jericho they find a small pizza shop to eat at. Once they get in they realize that they are still getting weird looks. “Are they looking at us weird because we are two boys hold hands?” Pugsley says confused “no pugs u think they are looking at us weird because we have nevermore uniforms on” “oh yeah”.

Chapter Text

“What kind of pizza should I get they have so many choices” Eugene says looking over the menu “I think I’m going to ask the waiter if I can get one with bugs on it!” “Pugsley no please you can eat bugs just not near me” Eugene says staring at Pugsley with wide eyes “oh yeah right sorry bee boy” “it ok pugs” “on that note I’m gonna get cheese with extra sauce” Pugsley says smiling at his wonderful boyfriend. “I think I’m gonna get meat lovers” Eugene says still looking over the menu “I didn’t think you’d like something like that I thought you’d be more of a mushroom type of person.” “Ew no I hate mushrooms” Eugene says grossed out “huh I guess you learn new things every day.” “Honestly I love learning new things about you every little thing makes me love you even more than I do already.” “Damn how am I supposed to leave you for 3 whole months” Pugsley says with a sadness tangling in his words “you know we can see each other over the summer it’s not like we are just going no contact for 3 months” Eugene says gently “yeah but it’s not the same as seeing you every day and pretty much living together”

The waiter comes over the their table to take their order just as the conversation comes to an end “what could I get for you guys today” the waiter says in that manufactured nice voice “I’ll have 2 slices of meat lovers with a sprite please.” Eugene says nicely to the man “and I’ll have 2 slice of cheese with extra sauce with a unsweetened tea” Pugsley says “ok you’re drinks will be right out and your food should be out within the next 15-20 minutes” the waiter says before walking away. “Unsweetened tea very fitting for an Addams” Eugene says “usually I’d be drinking cow’s blood but they don’t serve that here” Pugsley says with a straight face. Eugene looks at him horrified “WHAT!” “Im joking honey bee” Pugsley says beginning to laugh “oh thats a relief” Eugene says finally exhaling “did you really think I was serious?” Pugsley says giggling “with the Addams I never know”

At that moment the waiter brings over their drinks “a sprite for you and a unsweetened tea for you.” “Thank you” Eugene says answering for the both of them “and your pizza should be out within the next 10 minutes” once the waiter walks away they fall into an awkward yet comfortable silence. “Sooo what are you going to do this summer” Eugene says attempting to start a conversation “counting down the hours till we are back in school and I get to spend every moment possible with you” Pugsley says admiring Eugene “god I love you” is all Eugene can manage to say.

At that same moment the waiter brings over their pizza and they begin to eat. “Holy smokes this is so good pizza” Eugene says in awe “yeah I can’t believe I didn’t discover this place sooner” Pugsley says with his mouth full “we should definitely come here more often” Pugsley says taking another bite of his pizza “oh yeah definitely.” Eugene says agreeing

After that Eugene an Pugsley spend to rest of the day together shopping and doing various activities throughout Jericho. “Hey Eugene I think it’s time we head back to school it’s almost 7pm and we still have class tomorrow” “oh yeah right I’ve been having such a good time with you I forgot we skipped classes today” “ok well let’s go back before we actually get detention we can’t get out of this time” “yeah your right” Eugene says beginning to walk a bit faster.

When they finally get back to campus they get back to their dorm as fast as possible so they don’t get detention. Once they got showered and changed they got in to bed (Pugsleys bed of course) “you know I had a great time today” Pugsley says pulling Eugene into his arms “me too pugs” Eugene says sitting up and facing Pugsley “you know I’m really gonna miss you” Eugene says pulling Pugsleys face into his hands “I’m gonna miss you too” Pugsley says getting closer to Eugene’s face. Eugene closes the space and begins gently kissing pugsley. But of course Pugsley can’t resist and beings kissing Eugene hungrily down his neck over his collar bones and back up. Eugene is here for it though he loves his boyfriend and doesn’t mind his hungry kisses. Pugsley eventually meets Eugene’s lips again and Eugene begins kissing more aggressively as well. But he begins tasting blood and soon realizes it’s not his. He pulls away from Pugsleys face and sees a bleeding wound on his lip.

“SHIT! pugs I’m sorry I didn’t mean t-“ “honey bee it’s ok I know you didn’t mean to” “at least let me clean it up for you” Eugene says still feeling bad about it “you can clean my wound if you wish my love” Pugsley says smiling at his worried boyfriend. They go to the bathroom and Eugene begins whipping the blood off of Pugsleys lip “pugs I’m really sorry I forgot I have to be careful because of my braces” Eugene says still worried “Eugene I already told you it’s ok you didn’t mean to” Pugsley says still trying to clam Eugene “I know I just never want to hurt you in anyway especially physically.” Eugene says now pushing a piece of tissue over Pugsleys lip to attempt to stop the bleeding. “Honey we need to go to bed now we have class in the morning and it’s nine” “yeah the bleeding has stopped we can go back to bed.” They get back in Pugsleys bed and drift off

In the morning Eugene wakes to Pugsley rubbing his back “honey wake up we have to go to class in 30 minutes” Pugsley says gently “can we just skip class today and spend the rest of the day together” “Eugene no we can’t we leave half way through the day anyway” Pugsley says getting out of bed “exactly even more of a reason to just spend as much time we can together before going home for the summer” Eugene says trying to convince Pugsleys of staying getting back in bed “ok fine…” Pugsley says getting back into bed and cuddling up to Eugene “but this is the last time we skip and like you said yesterday we can see each other over the summer.” “I know but it’s not the same” Eugene says sadly. “Go back to sleep my love.” Pugsley says playing with Eugene’s hair.

“It’s our last few hours together for the next 3 months” Eugene says sadly “Eugene remember we CAN see each other over the summer I can have lurch drive me!” “Yeah I guess you’re right but we have to get up and pack everyone has to be packed up and out by 3pm which means what have about…6 hours left together.” “Once we are done packing we should go explore the woods and find some insects a snack for the road for me and some new pets for you!” Pugsley says excitedly “that sounds great but like actually we NEED to get packing now pugs” “I know honey bee”

Once they are done packing they set off on their little adventure “wowwww look at that one Eugene” Pugsley says as a purple beetle walks up a stump “good catch pugs that one is called a spring dor beetle aka trypocopris” “wow I think I want that one as a snack!” Pugsley says licking his lips “Um no that one is my new pet.” Eugene says smugly. “What ever” Pugsley says rolling his eyes after a 2 hours they leave the forest with a bunch of different bugs.

“Pugsley we have 2 hours left” Eugene begins to get closer to Pugsley. Pugsley closes the gap and meets Eugene’s lips and begins kissing him gently. Eugene is careful this time to not cut Pugsley lip again. This kiss is not hungry it’s sweet,slow and soft. Loving like it’s the last kiss they will ever share. This kiss only lasts about a minute before Pugsley cups Eugene’s face in his hands “Eugene I love you so much more than I can put into words. I want you to know that before we leave for summer break.” Pugsley says looking into Eugene’s eyes “pugs I know how much you love me. And I understand you don’t know how to express it in words but you express it in your actions.” Eugene says looking up at Pugsley “what do you mean by that?” Pugsley says confused “you listen like actually LISTEN when I talk, you sit with me and talk with me after I have nightmares, you make sure you don’t eat bugs near me. You show that you love me through your actions not your words.” “I never thought about it like that” Pugsley says tilting his head to the side “and honestly that’s better than words it shows you know me” “because I love you honey bee.”

At that moment the intercom sounds “ALL STUDENTS REPORT TO THE MAIN HALL TO BEGIN SEND OFF I REPEAT ALL STUDENTS REPORT MAIN HALLWAY TO BEGIN SEND OFF.” “Eugene we have to go” Pugsley says moving to grab his bags. “I love you pugs” “I love you more honey” they begin heading to the main hall having the classic ‘I love you more’ ‘no I love you more’ argument when they finally reach the main hall they have to split up to find their parents but before they do they both get in one last I love you. “I love you pugs.” “I love you Eugene.” They both find their parents and set off on their ways home.

Once Pugsley arrives home he remembered that Eugene had given him his phone number but put doesn’t have a phone so Pugsley does the logical thing and goes to talk with his dad. “Hey dad can I get a phone?” “Pugsley why would you need a phone you don’t have anyone to talk with” “DAD me and Eugene are friends and he gave me his number so we could talk during the summer” Pugsley says trying to get his point across “oh you never told me that you and him made friends. On that note of course you can get a phone” (Pugsleys hasn’t told his parents him and Eugene are in a relationship yet) later that day Gomez sends lurch off to get Pugsley a phone. Once lurch returns and gives Pugsley the phone he runs off like a kid on Christmas morning and begins to set his new phone up. And as soon as he’s done he types Eugene’s number in and texts him “hey Eugene it’s Pugsley!:)” he sends it and waits for hours (in reality it was about 5 minutes but to Pugsley it felt like forever) “hey pugs I thought you didn’t have a phone?”

“Oh yeah my dad sent lurch to get me one so we could talk I still don’t know how to work this thing really well”

“ah I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it once we hang out I can show you how to work it!”

“Yeah about that when will we hang out?”

“I’m free like all of next week you can come and spend the week with me and my mom if you want!”

“Obviously I want to I think that’s like a no brainer”

“Well idk maybe you didn’t want to come”

“Eugene. Obviously I want to come my feelings for you will not change no matter how far we are from each other.”

“Hey I gotta go to sleep now. We can talk in the morning I love you more than anything good night my love”

“Good night honey bee I love you. sleep well”

In the morning once Eugene wakes up he texts Pugsley “good morning my love hope you slept well” Pugsley doesn’t reply for a few hours “good morning honey bee I’m sorry for texting you back so late I slept in.”

“It’s ok I know you like to sleep in when we don’t have school”

“yeah anyway I’m soooooo excited to see you next week”

“I’m excited to see you to Pugsley I was thinking we could go to a theme park or something while you’re here!”

“I don’t know what a theme park is can you explain?”

“Oh um it’s like a place with a bunch of roller coaster and rides”

“Oh wait that sounds fun I’d love to go!”

The rest of the week passes by and it’s finally time for Pugsley to go spend the week with Eugene. Pugsley finally arrives at Eugene’s house and meets Eugene’s moms.
“Hello mrs.otinger and…uh mrs.otinger?” “Oh please call us sue and Janet” janet says warmly to Pugsley “you must be Eugene boyfriend!” Sue says hugging Pugsley “oh yeah i am!” “Ok well you boys go have fun just don’t get into trouble or anything” Janet says to the both of them

They go to Eugene’s room and Eugene gives Pugsley a brief tour. “Eugene you didn’t tell me you told your moms that we are together” Pugsley says “oh yeah well about that…they kinda just figured it out on their own when I couldn’t stop talking about you” “oh well uh I haven’t told mine yet” Pugsley says scratching at his hand nervously “well that’s ok your family is different then mine you don’t know how they will react but I already knew of course given the fact that I have 2 moms” Eugene says grabbing Pugsleys face “well yeah I don’t know how they will react and that’s why I’m scared I’ll tell them soon though I promise” Pugsley says in an almost worried tone “pugs I don’t care if you tell them in 10 seconds or 10 years you have to tell them when you’re ready I don’t care when that is” Eugene says still holding Pugsleys face “well I thought you would be angry at me for not telling them about us?” Pugsley says tilting his head in confusion “no pugs I don’t care who knows and who doesn’t as long as your happy it doesn’t matter to me” Eugene says pulling him in for a hug they hug for awhile about 5 minutes to be exact

“It’s late we should go to bed” Pugsley says breaking free from Eugene’s grip “yeah probably I have a fun day planned for us tomorrow” Eugene says excitedly “what exactly do you have planned for us?” Pugsley says questioning “that’s a surprise Pugsley!” Eugene says heading to his bathroom to change into his pjs while Eugene is in the bathroom Pugsley changes into Eugene’s room. Once they are both done they get into bed together and fall asleep fast.

In the morning when they wake up Pugsley smells the smell of fresh pancakes. They get out of bed and head down stairs to eat breakfast. “Good morning boys” sue says “how did you guys sleep” Janet says continuing sues sentence they both mutter out a half “good” and begin eating. Once they are done they go back upstairs to bush their teeth and get dressed “so isn’t this theme park thingy like our second real date” Pugsley says finally coherent enough to form proper sentence “I mean pretty much yeah I’m just excited because it’s your first time going to a theme park and I’m going with you” Eugene says smiling at his boyfriend “my moms are waiting in the car for us so we have to hurry” Eugene says “ok I’m ready to go sooo let’s gooo!” Pugsley says excitedly

They get in the car they both fall asleep about 15 minutes into the hour and a half car ride. They soon arrive at the theme park and Eugene’s moms wake them…
