Chapter 1: Lost and something new
Chapter Text
It was really cold. Izuku was just bored and wanted to explore. It wasn't his fault he got caught in a snow storm and was now holding out in a cave. Regardless he was still cold and felt like his coat wasn't doing anything.
He decided to move further into the cave to maybe get a little more warmth. With hesitant steps he made his way deeper into the cave guided by the flashlight on his phone. It was dark but not horrible, the cave seemed to be abandoned and looked stable from what little he knew about exploring caves from his little info rabbit holes, damn ADHD.
He traveled for a bit when there was a click. Izuku froze, bracing for some sort of ambush or attack, but all that happened was a bunch of lamps along the walls he hadn't noticed lit up. That totally wasn’t amonous as fuck. After getting over the initial shock he was curious so he follows the lanterns, which oddly are lit by fire, maybe a quirk.
He plans on going back to check on the storm but a little farther down he sees that the path turns and opens into somewhere. Following the path Izuku finds it opens to a laboratory of sorts. Ignoring the dingy look and all the dust he enters.
The room seems organized but messy, like someone was frantically looking for something.
He walks through the many shelves examining the odd things. “Nether Warts? Ghast Tear? Redstone? Fermented Spider Eye!!? The heck is this place?” moving away from the shelves Izuku sees a work bench and a…. Cauldron?
On the bench is a book. Izuku approaches, the covers and spine of the book are leather and look beautiful, but ancient. “Handbook of magic, spells, and potions.” What an odd title. Izuku opens the book and flips through the pages. His eyes widen as he reads what seem to be spells. He recognizes some of the ingredients from the shelves.
Izuku begins to read further but, “Midorya Izuku!!” A masculine voice calls out for him, he runs back to the entrance of the cave.
“I’m here” Izuku calls back.
He exits the cave to find a man in bright yellow with a dog. “Are you Midoriya Izuku?” a tall muscular man asks.
“Yes I am” Izuku responds and puts his arms up to block some of the wind and snow.
The man grabs a walkie-talkie that was strapped to his bright yellow coat and speaks into it.” I’ve got the kid, coppy.”
A “ Coppy” Comes back through.
“Kid” Izuku looks up “I’m Kimura Haruto I’m here to take you back to the Lodge” The man, Kimura, unloops a rope from his belt. “I’m gonna tie this around your waist so you don't get separated, is that ok”.
Izuku nods and keeps his arms up to let Kimura tie the rope around him.
The trek back to the lodge takes a bit but they eventually make it back.
When they arrive Izuku is bombarded by medical personnel checking for hypothermia, police berating him for going out without checking the weather and when all of that is over his mother frets over him and barely lets him out of her sight the rest of the day.
By the time his mother finally calmed down enough to go to bed he finally got a chance to properly process what he found.
“Magic” he whispers into the dark room filled with the sounds of his mothers steady breathing and rustling from the rooms next door.
He decides to go back to look around and explore the cave and book tomorrow… or when the storm blows over.
Chapter 2: Curiosities and possibilities
Chapter Text
It had been nearly three days. Izuku and his mother were stuck at the lodge due to all the snow and dangerous roads. They and all the other patrons staying at the lodge had been informed that the roads would be travelable in the two days.
Izuku has two days, maybe three to get back to the cave and check out that lab. Only problem, his mother.
Now Izuku loves his mother, but sometimes she worries a little too much. Like yes he did get caught in a snow storm but he had only been exploring so no one really knew where he was, and there was a 0.03% chance there would be another storm, he checked the weather.
“Izu, baby, I really don't think you should go back out there”
“But mom, I really want to keep exploring”
Inko lets out a long sigh, “I don't know…. I don't want you to get lost again”
“Mom the only reason I got lost was because I forgot to check the weather and was caught off gard”
“Izuku-”
“Mom please”
Inko runs a hand over her face “Fine- but to come back at lunch… and keep your phone on you at all times, text me every hour, and please” She walks up to Izuku and holds his face in her hands. “Please” She presses her forehead to her sons., “Be Careful" She wraps him in a tight hug.
“Really” Izuku hugs her back just as tightly. “ Thank you, thank you, thank you” Izuku pulls back and goes to put his boots on but turns and hugs his mom one more time “love you.” He rushes to the door and puts his shoes on, grabs his coat and turns to leave.
Inko stops him “Gloves, hat, and scarf.”
Izuku rolls his eyes and puts the rest of his gear on, makes sure he has his phone, grabs his bag, and opens the door.
“Be careful” Inko shouts after him.
Izuku calls out as he rushes down the hall, “I will.”
Inko closes the door and sighs, "please be careful, Zu”
—-------------------------------------
Izuku rushes through the lobby and out the lodge doors. He is so excited to finally be able to go back to the cave.
The way there is a little longer than the first time, with all the snow, but he manages. After a ruffly 20 minute trek through the snow, and nearly getting lost again, he finds the cave. He goes the same way he did a few days ago, follows the path down into the cave, flinching again when the lamps flicker on. He looks at them for a bit, maybe-..... Maybe it’s magic.
He notes to look for some sort of fire or light spell, and doesn't that feel weird to think, in the book he found. He should also look for others, and maybe try to make a potion, or do a spell.
He finally arrives at the lab? Izuku doesn't know what to call it. He weaves his way through the shelves again and makes it to the bench.
“Good, everything is still here.” Izuku sighs, he doesn't know what he thought would have happened to it, his anxiety was illogical.
He walks right up to the book and this time notices the shelf of books next to the bench. “Wow there's more” he says in aww. Izuku walks up to the shelf and starts to look at all the spins of the old- ancient books.
They all look similar to the one on the bench but they are different colors, have different patterns, and are all kinds of sizes. The covers also say different things like "Elemental magic, healing, transformation potions, and-” one book in particular seems to draw him in as soon as he lays his eyes on it.
“Shadow magic.” He picks it up running a hand over the black, worn, leather. The book looks old and used, it has intricate engravings and marks, and has a few black stones on the front cover and spine.
He brings the book over to the bench, placing it down and picks up the other book he was looking at the other day, closing it and putting it on the shelf.
Izuku shoots a quick glance at his phone and realizes it's 10:15 and has been a little over an hour, he sends a quick message to his mother, ignoring the response he gets near instantly in favor of reading the new book he has on the bench.
He opens the book marveling at the intricacy and craftsmanship of the book.
As he does a quick sweep of the book before actually reading it, he notices the many notes in the margins of the book. His eyes widen as he reads the notes. The handwriting is a neat scroll, and the text seems to be tips.
Did someone actually use this to do magic? Could he learn how to do it? Is it possible?
Chapter 3: Odd books, a quick lunch, and a guide to his inner magic
Chapter Text
Izuku freezes for what feels like an eternity, but at most is a minute. His thoughts race. Is it possible? Could he do magic?
His fingers run over the edges of the pages. He's snapped out of head with a sharp hiss, when a sharp pain shoots through his finger.
He pulls his hand back and looks at his finger. “Just a papercut.”
He studies his finger, it's bleeding quite a bit for just a papercut.
A drop of red blood pools on his finger and eventually drips onto the pages of the book below. “Oh- Crap!”
He goes to clean up the drop of blood but it soaks into the pages and doesn't leave a stain?
Izuku blinks in shock but winces when his finger throbs. He drops his bag to get out a wipe and bandaid to clean up his finger, but when he looks back down at it, he is further shocked when he finds the papercut is completely healed, all that's left is a little black mark.
Yeah maybe that's enough shadow magic for today. He picks up the book, careful not to cut himself on the pages again, and places it back on the shelf.
When he places it back on the shelf he reads the spine of the book next to it. “Basics of Magic: Spells and Potions…….. Hm” He picks it up, “Well I should probably start with the basics.”
He moves back over to the bench, he opens it and immediately starts reading but stops when he sees a name on the inside of the cover, “Ein LastName” Izuku realizes that it's in the same hand writing as the notes in the shadow magic book, he looks around in confusion, like the walls will him and answer. “Who’s Ein?” Again he asks like the walls will just give him the answer.
He goes to start reading but decides to check the time. “11:15, I should probably head back.” So that's what he does, choosing to come back after lunch to actually read the book.
He grabs his bag and heads back out of the cave. Izuku is thankful for his mom making his scarf, the wind has picked up and it's gotten a little colder.
Once he got back to the lodge, he stomped off his boots outside the doors so he didn’t track snow in.
Izuku headed up to the room he and his mom were in and realizing he forgot his key he knocked on the door.
“Mom!” He hears his mothers footsteps and the door opens.
“Izuku!” His mother pulls him in the room closing the door behind him and wraps him in a tight hug. “Oh I’m so glad your ok”
Izuku tilts his head in question. “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?”
“Oh I don't know” Inko tuts, “I was just worried”
“Sorry, Ma, I didn't mean to worry you” Izuku rubs the back of neck
Once Izuku has taken off all his winter gear, his mom takes them down to the little cafeteria on the first floor of the lodge. They have a quick lunch and after he has rested for a bit, at his mothers insistence, he heads back to the cave.
—-------------------------------------------------------
Izuku arrives at the cave and runs down the path, not waiting for the lamps to turn on, immediately dropping his stuff and rushing over to the magic book? Spell book.
He hops up onto the bench and grabs the spell book, opening it and turning to the first chapter, "Accessing your inner magic” He mutters as he reads.
“Accessing your inner magic may take a while, but is crucial for witchcraft. The best way to find your magic is to sit in a secluded place far from others and outside distractions, and in a comfortable, safe position”
Izuku figures he's pretty far from people but gets off the bench to sit against the wall.
“Once comfortable, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Let go of your conscience and drift into your spirit. This may take a while but try to reach into the core of your spirit. When in your spirit core sense around to find your inner magic. This will look different for everyone but should pull you towards it. Hold onto it for a bit then let go and let yourself come back.”
Izuku places the book down and settles against the wall.
It takes a bit but eventually he slips from his mind into his spirit. He can’t tell if it's bright or dark but it's warm.
Izuku gives himself a bit to adjust and feel around. Feeling around he feels this cold force that seems to call out and pull him in. He follows the force, the closer he gets the cooler it feels.
He's about to turn and try to find his magic somewhere else, when he sees it. A small black flame that flickers and dances back and forth.
Despite it being a flame when Izuku touches it, it's cold. He watches it and holds it in his hands for a bit, engraving the way it feels into his memory.
After a bit he lets go and lets himself return to his mind.
Izuku opens his eyes and huffs “That felt so weird…. But natural”
He picks up the book that he discarded next to him.
“Once you have found your magic, you should be able to find it easier and eventually call out for it.”
For the next thirty or so minutes Izuku practices entering his spirit and not just looking for his magic but also calling out for it. After that he starts to practice calling out for his magic while he has his eyes open and eventually while he's doing other things like organizing and cleaning up the shelves.
A good 4 hours later he trudges back to the lodge, Magic basics book in his bag and well and truly tired, and content with his progress.
Chapter 4: His first spell and heading home
Notes:
Lots of little time skips and a bit of a rushed ending.
Chapter Text
Izuku wakes up at 8 in the morning, planning on going back to the cave to organize a bit more, practice more, and maybe look at a few other spell books.
He gathers his shower stuff and grabs his clothes and goes to shower. He showers quickly and decides not to wash his hair so it doesn't freeze when he goes out.
Exiting the bathroom dressed and ready to grab his winter gear and go he stops when he sees his mom moving around. “Mom, sorry if I woke you”
“Izuku” Inko looks up at her son “you didn't wake me” she continues moving around the room, packing her stuff.
“Oh- your packing” Izuku murmurs.
“Yes, and you should too, I’m planning on heading out after dinner.”
“Y-yeah ok” Izuku feels a pang of sadness, wondering if he'll be able to go back to the cave. “W-would I be able to go back to the ca-” he freezes realizing he hasn’t told his mom about the cave or magic. Izuku ponders if he should tell her, but decides better of it, it’ll probably just make her worry.
“Go back to where?” His mother looks up, her questioning gaze falling onto Izuku.
“Uh- I… there was one more place I wanted to check out in the forest” He lied.
“Hm…. that should be ok, but be back by 3:30 to pack, ok”
“Yeah” Izuku lights up “I will” He runs to the door, throwing in his gear, and leaving.
“Be careful” Inko calls out after him and sighs as she gets back to packing.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Izuku rushes through the forest eager to get to the cave to have as much time to practice as possible. Arriving at the cave He sprints down the path again not waiting for the lights to turn on in his haste.
He throws down his bag, grabbing the spell book from inside he sits against the same wall he did yesterday. He flips through the pages filled with words and diagrams to find the page he left off on. He gets to chapter two and starts reading.
“Now that you've found your inner magic you can start learning basic spells. The simplest spell is a simple telakanesis spell.”
“Hm, so similar to moms quirk,” Izuku muses.
“Find a small object like a tennis ball”
Izuku hums, placing down the book and standing to look around for something to use. He remembers seeing an old dingy tennis ball yesterday while organizing and looking around. He scurries through the shelves and grabs the dirty yellow ball. Going back to the wall he sets the ball about three feet away from his and sits down. He picks up the book and continues reading.
“Place it on a flat surface and sit in a comfortable position a few feet away. Once settled, slip back into your spirit and take your inner magic, imagine the object a few feet away from you and frap it in your magic, then pull it to you. This may take a while but continue trying until you get it, then you can try to do it subconsciously, and eventually while you are doing another task”
Placing the book next to him, Izuku takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and calls forth his magic. He takes the small black flame, that is his magic, and imagines the tennis ball. While imagining the ball he can feel it, like a small pulsing a few feet away from where he sits against the wall. He manipulates his magic around the ball and pulls.
“Oww” Izuku yelps when he is hit with something. He opens his eyes and looks in shock at the ball in his lap. He kicks his legs out whooping and cheering.
After a good five minutes of Izuku celebrating he gets up, places the ball a few feet away again and sits back down. He focuses on slowing the ball down as he pulls it towards himself. Once he isn’t getting hit by the tennis ball every time he moves to doing it with his eyes open. Izuku soon moves on to bigger and smaller things, like an old jar, the spell book and a few pencils. The pencils take a bit to master, it's harder to pick up multiple items.
After about an hour, it was about 10:30 and Izuku decided to finish organizing the shelves but this time using telekinesis.
Two hours later it was noon, Izuku had finished the shelves, of what were probably potionary supplies, and was hungry, having skipped breakfast in his haste to leave that morning.
He slumped next to his bag, grabbing it. Izuku rummages around for a bit and eventually finds what he was looking for, a granola bar! Izuku grabs his water bottle and eats.
After a twenty minute break, Izuku hops up dusting off his pants and walks over to the book shelf. He looks at two books that sit next to each other.
“Abjuration: protection spells, and Conjuration: summoning/creation spells.” He should probably organize the book, and it would give him a good opportunity to look at all the other spell books.
As he takes all the books off the shelves he sorts them into piles, “Abjuration: protection, Conjuration: summoning/creating, Divination: seeking information, Enchantment: mental influence, Evocation: energy manipulation, Illusion: deception, Necromancy: life/death manipulation, and Transmutation: shape-changing.”
Izuki is surprised at all the different categories, but one book sits alone. All the books tell what type of spells they teach below the title on the cover, except the shadow magic book, the only thing it says is “Shadow Magic”.
Izuku sighs and turns to put the categorized books back onto the shelf. He wants to try and float himself to reach the higher shelves, but thinks better of it and decides to practice pushing objects away instead of pulling them towards himself and saves floating himself until he's home and on his bed.
An hour later he is exiting the cave with a new spell book, “Basics of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth.”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arriving back at the Lodge he heads straight to the room. His mom is packed and he soon is as well. About an hour and a half later he and his mom are leaving early and on the long drive back to Musutafu.
Chapter 5: A nightmare and learning to float
Notes:
Short chapter, y'all, in fact, all my chapters will most likely be fairly short.
Chapter Text
The car ride home took 8 hours. He finished the basics spell book, sadly, he couldn't practice any of it cause he was in the car with his mom. But! He was finally home and could practice in his room in private….. After he unpacks.
By the time Izuku was unpacked, it was nearly 1 in the morning, he looked longingly over to the spell book on his desk and sighs. Magic can wait till the morning, he has three days left of winter break.
—------------------------------------------------------------------
Izuku shoots up in bed. He pants, trying to get air back into his lungs.
It takes a minute, but eventually he feels like he's breathing, he looks around and finds his analysis books, pencils, spell book, his bag, and blanket, floating.
He takes a deep breath, easing the miscellaneous objects down. Izuku runs a hand through his sweat-dampened hair, peeling his bangs from his forehead. He flops back on to his bead and stairs at the ceiling.
A nightmare?. He had a nightmare, but it wasn't like the occasional nightmare he gets about Kachan and his lackeys. No, this one was different, he wasn't scared.
He was in a grey abyss, a man in a long black cape stood in front of him, his presence felt familiar but he’s never seen him. The man had reached up and taken off his hood.
His face was covered in scars, he had shaggy black hair with a white streak and ears, ones similar to a wolf's. The weirdest part were his eyes, one was a pure light green that seemed to flicker, the other was a light grey, and he had no pupils.
He had felt a pull to the man but when he moved black tendrils came from the ground and consumed the man, then he was waking up.
Izuku looks over at the clock on his nightstand, “3:23” He figures he won’t be getting any more sleep so he gets up and moves his blankets and pillows off his bed. “Time to levitate!”
Flopping onto his bed, Izuku closes his eyes and concentrates his magic around himself, just like he would an object. Filing all tengilly he opens his eyes and nearly screams when he finds himself floating a good four feet above his bed. The panic causes him to lose control of his magic and he falls.
He just looks up at the ceiling in shock. He was just floating. He cheers, quietly of course he doesn't want to wake his mother.
Throughout the night he floats many more times, using the walls and book shelves to push himself around the room. Eventually he gets the hang of controlling where he goes and landing softly.
Chapter 6: Elements and a new vigilante
Notes:
Heeeey, Guys, Galls, and Nonbinary Palls, I'm back, sorry for going MIA for over two weeks, had a school break, and lost all motivation. I am going to try and post more often, or at least every Friday. I have been going through my other chapters, and I apologize for improper grammar and punctuation, typos, and short chapters. This is my first fic. Enjoy the chapter; this is where I hopefully get the ball rolling.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Izuku was trying, he really was, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't use the elements.
It had been two weeks since winter break. At school, nothing really changed; Kachan and his lackeys still bullied him, destroyed his stuff, and the teachers ignored it all or blamed Izuku.
Nevertheless, Izuku was happier. He liked doing magic. He's gotten really good with his telekinesis; it came so naturally to him that there had even been a few instances where he used it without thinking and nearly got caught.
But for the life of him, Izuku could not use the elements, or water, wind, and earth; he could use fire, but it was just the cold black fire that didn’t do anything but look pretty. It was frustrating; no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t use the other three elements.
He lets out a long-suffering sigh; it was nearly midnight on a Thursday night, and Izuku had been trying to use water manipulation. Like, sure, He could use telekinesis to move the water, but he wanted to actually learn another spell.
With a yawn, Izuku pulled the glass of water towards himself. Did he mention how good he'd gotten with his telekinesis, like the movement was so smooth? But resigning himself to fate, he got up and went to bed; he could try again tomorrow.
_______________________________________
It had been a day; Kachan wasn't at school, so his lackeys had apparently decided that with Kachan gone, they had to make up for his absence and torment him worse.
Izuku was beaten up no less than four times that day, and his uniform was all kinds of ripped up. As if that wasn't bad enough for them, after school, they had chased him out of the school all the way to a quiet part of town, Izuku had never been in.
He was now effectively lost, and because life is an ass, his phone is dead. With a heavy sigh, Izuku puts on a hoodie and pulls the hood up to fight off the chill, and walks through the dark streets to find his way home.
Roughly, twenty minutes later, approaching an alley, a crash comes from within, and a feminine voice cries out, “What the!” followed by a gruff male voice, “Shut it.”
Izuku hides in front of the wall at the mouth of the alley so he won't be seen. He peeks around the wall and gasps. The man doesn't look like much, but he is clearly drunk and has a knife to a younger lady's throat.
Without thinking, Izuku uses telekinesis to pull the knife from the man's hand, which, looking back on it, was a terrible idea, as the knife comes flying at his face. He ducks and isn't hit, but then he looks back up and finds the man staring at him and looking PISSED.
Completely ignoring the woman, the man rushes at him while screaming, “You Little Prick,” and he prepares to throw a punch at Izuku's face. Still, being drunk, his punch is considerably slow, slower than Kachan's, so Izuku easily dodges. The man goes tumbling out of the alley and onto the sidewalk beside Izuku and doesn't get back up.
“He must have hit his head.” Izuku’s head snaps up, and he stares wide-eyed at the woman.
“I-ah-... A-Are you ok, miss?”
“Yeah, I’m ok.”
“That's good,” Izuku wrings his fingers. “I-I should go, and you should probably call the police.” Izuku blurts, realizing he can't just leave the drunken man on the street.
“Yeah, you're right.” The woman reaches for her phone, which is on the ground, and pauses before looking back at the person, who is obviously a kid, maybe teen by his voice and height. “Are you a vigilante?”
The green-eyed boy freezes, realizing with his hood still up that she probably can't see his face. “N-” He starts to deny, but if he says no, she might tell the police, and how will he explain using telekinesis if his record says he's quirkless. Stelling himself, he rolls with the punches and agrees. “Y-Yeah, I am.”
“Oh- what should I call you?”
Izuku racks his brain for a name and blurts, “Uh- W-Witch.” There is a long silence. “You can call me the Witch.”
“Odd name, but ok, since you're a vigilante, you should probably go before I call the police.”
“Yeah,” Izuku turns and leaves, wondering why she was so ok with him being a vigilante but not willing to stick and get in trouble, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, and all that.
“Thank you!” The lady calls as he runs off.
________________________________________________________
TWO HOURS LATER, Izuku is finally home, clean and bandaged up and in bed. Thankfully, His mother had a fourteen-hour night shift from 2 PM to 4 AM, so she wasn't home to fret over him.
But in bed and able to properly calm down, he falls asleep with one last thought: Maybe being a vigilante wouldn't be so bad.

Chapter 8: A detective on the case
Chapter Text
Tsukauchi was a little confused. Last night, he was called out to help with the clean-up of an attempted mugging that had oddly been called in by the victim.
When he arrived at the scene and took the young lady's statement, she told him, “I was on my way home from work, and I had gone through the alley as a shortcut when I got grabbed by this man.” She gestured to the man being put into a police cruiser. “I was startled and yelled, then he put a knife to my throat and told me to be quiet, but before I could completely register what was happening, the knife was pulled away.”
“He just let you go?” Tsukauchi interrupted.
“No, when I looked up, there was no one there, then this figure at the mouth of the alley pops up in a dark hoodie with the hood up, so I didn't see their face, but they were quite short, at most 5’2, and their voice was masculine but high-pitched.”
Tsukauchi nods. So, they were most likely on the younger side, possibly a teenager, and had a telekinetic-type quirk.
“The man holding me hostage wasn't very happy with his knife being taken, so he lunged at them, though they dodged pretty easily, and the man went sprawling onto the sidewalk next to them, and I think the impact with the ground knocked the man out.”
“Who did you say saved you?” Tsukauchi asked.
“I didn’t get a look at their face, but they said they were a vigilante and told me they went by ‘the Witch’.”
“Hmm, haven't heard of a vigilante named Witch yet.” Tsukauchi muses.
“They did seem quite nervous, so it could have been a one-time thing.” The lady offers.
“Well, thank you for your statement. Are you sure you're not harmed?”
“Yes, Witch saved me before the man could hurt me.”
“Ok, are you good to walk home on your own, or would you like a ride?”
“Oh, no need, my apartment is just across the street, that's why I was in the alley.” She points across the street to a tall building that looks a little dingy. But on this side of town, that was normal.
“Ok, have a nice rest of your night, Miss.” Tsukauchi bows his head and walks off to his partner, Officer Sansa. “I see the perpetrator is awake.” Naomasa gestures to the car.
“Yes, luckily, he was already in the car before he woke up.” Sansa looks back at the still drunken man who was raging in the car. He walks around to the driver's side and gets in.
“Hmm,” Tsukauchi hums and follows Sansa by getting in on the passenger side.
__________________________________________________________________________
Back at the station, Tsukauchi slumps down into his chair, rubbing his temples and letting out a deep sigh. It had been nearly three hours since he was called out for the attempted mugging. And now he gets to stare at his computer for hours, opening a file on the new supposed vigilante.
“Wow, not even a ‘Hi'?”
Naomasa jumps and nearly screams at the deep voice that came from nowhere. Well, not nowhere, it came from the homeless-looking Pro hero lying on the small couch in his office.
“Jesus Eraser, didn’t even see you there”, Tsukauchi sighs.
“You need better social awareness,” Eraserhead quips back. Tsukauchi rolls his eyes and turns to his computer. Eraser gets up and walks over to the small coffee machine in the office, “Coffee?” he questions the tired and frankly haggard-looking detective. And God danm, he looks almost as bad as Eraser himself.
“Yes, please,” The detective nearly begs. The hero nods and starts making the coffee.
“So, what's got you looking so done with the world?”
Naomasa groans, “I got called out for an attempted mugging that had been called in by the victim. She said she was saved by someone who claimed to be a vigilante who goes by the alias ‘Witch’.”
“Haven't heard that one yet. Do you think they're legit?” Aizawa huffs.
“It could be a one-time thing, but I still have to make a file.”
“Hmm,” Eraser hums as the coffee maker dings, and he pours the bitter excuse for coffee into two mugs. Tsukauchi nearly chugs the coffee as soon as Eraserhead places it on his desk.
“Well, I keep an eye out for them.” The hero offers, “Did the victim say what they looked like?”
Noumasa sighs, “Nothing descriptive, they had a hoodie on, so the victim didn't get a look at their face. She said they were fairly short and had a masculine voice, but it was high-pitched, so probably a younger male, teen maybe, and they had a telakinetic type quirk.”
“Kay, I'll keep an eye out.”
“Thanks, Eraser.”
