The Kaslana in fate

Summary:

As Kiana woke up from her unconscious state she found herself in a dumpster. Frowning she covered her nose and jumped out of it. Stretching she looked up at the moon hanging high in the air. She stopped moving as she noticed something. well it was more of a lack of something Kiana noticed. There was no Honkai energy in the air. That should have been impossible in her world Honkai was always present especially around Kiana. As the realization dawned on Kiana her eyes twitch "You have to be kidding me." Kiana found herself in a new world unknown to her.

Chapter Text

Shirou rubbed his eyes as he was working on the morning breakfast in the kitchen. The soft noise of news from the television could be heard from the background. The sounds of the knife hitting the cutting board filled the room as he focused on the cooking. “What ya making?” A woman’s voice came from the living room and he sighed: “Nothing too complicated Fuji-nee. Some miso soup, steamed rice with egg, and steamed vegetables.”

Fuji-nee made a humming noise in the living room. Now no longer fully focused Shirou could hear the television more clearly “This new vigilante-”. His knife stopped moving and he turned around looking confused at the television and repeated: “Vigilante?” Fuji-nee turned to him and raised an eye brow: “You just heard of them? They have been annoying the police for a few days now. Stopping all kinds of crime. You better not do that mister wants to be a hero!”

An awkward chuckle escaped him and he rubbed the back of his head: “Don’t worry Fuji-nee I won’t do such a thing.” His answer came out naturally but he could not leave his eyes from the television. A bubbling sensation of curiosity began to form. Turning around he continued cooking. As the hours of the day continued he kept hearing more and more about this apparent vigilante. It’s been apparently just three days since it started. He heard many descriptions of this supposed vigilante. A two meter tall heavy muscled Japanese man, A white haired Caucasian girl in her teens, and an even some saying the vigilante was a ghost.

Sitting in the student council room he was eating with his friend Issei. “I mean, can you even imagine a city like Fuyuki having a vigilante? I can already imagine the student body rumours these next few weeks.” A sigh left Issei and Shirou shrugged taking a bite from his food: “I have heard the vigilante has done some good, It’s not all bad.” Issei looked at him in surprise: “I expected you to not like people throwing themselves into danger.”

Shirou sighed and stared at his food: “Of course I rather they left this to the police, however from what I’ve heard the vigilante seems to be capable at least.” Issei clicked his tongue rolling his eyes: “Those are all rumours, the police have yet to reveal any official about this vigilante aside that they exist.” Shirou nodded taking another bite as the bell rang signalling they should return to their class rooms. Packing up his stuff he turned to Issei and said: “I suppose you’re right.” With that said he continued on his day.

Hours later he was walking around the park his thoughts drifting all over the place. Hearing noises from a vending machine he turned around seeing a long white haired teenaged Caucasian girl with a can of soda. She appeared to be dressed something straight out of some manga. He could not help but think she might be some sort of cosplayer with her skin tight suit and jacket. Her white hair was in braids tied together with a red ribbon.

Seeing her in the dead of night under the moonlight he could not help but think of vigilantes rumours. Despite how much Fuji-nee would hate it his curiosity got the better of him and walked up to her: “Hey.” The girl taking of few sips from the can turned to him and he noticed her eyes. A single blue one the other one a striking orange. He heard of some condition that could cause this but he could not think of the name. Did orange eye colour even naturally occur? He thought to himself.
“Hey?” The girl’s confused voice sounded as she looked him up and down. His eyes slightly widened at how fluent her Japanese sounded: “It’s quite late to be out here alone, isn’t it?” The girl just shrugged her shoulders: “I guess, you’re out too.” He was silent for a moment before muttering “I guess I am.” A sigh left and he shook his head. What was he thinking there was no way this girl was the vigilante: “Do you want me to escort you home? It can be quite dangerous”

The girl looked confused for a second before shaking her head: “Nah, I’m good. Thanks for the offer though.” With that the girl walked passed him drinking from her can. Shirou looked for a moment as the girl walked further and further. A part of him wanted to make sure she got home save but was telling that would just make the girl feel threatened by insisting. Before he could decide from the war in his head the girl was already gone from sight. Looking at the moon he supposed he no other choice but to return home.

Kiana was drinking from her can of soda looking down from the sky scraper she was sitting on the ledge from the building. Her white braided hair swinging in the wind as she was in thought. Her feet swaying she sighed putting both of her hands on her head a annoyed scream left her: “Aah! What the hell am I supposed to do now!?”

This wasn’t her world. It wasn’t even the same time. Technology felt decades behind. Honkai that she trained her entire life to fight simply seemingly does not exist. Although her Herrscher’s cores inside of her burned with power all the same, much to her annoyance given Siren’s presence inside did not leave. Fu Hua no longer answered her calls and the feather her soul was in glowed so softly as if the wind could extinguish it. She was lucky finding some assholes who were robbing people to take their cash otherwise she would literally not have a yen to her name.

Yet as she looked down at this world free of Honkai. A world she and her friends dreamed off she could only feel confusion. What was she supposed to do now? Sighing she placed the empty can on the edge of the building and leaned forward. Falling down she felt wind go through her hair as it took a few seconds to fall to the ground. Landing on the ground with her feet she started to wander around aimlessly. The alleyways around the city were quite clean much to Kiana’s surprise much cleaner than Arc city.

As she wandered she suddenly felt a chill down her spine. She heard the wind ruffle like bullets were flying through them. In the corner of her eyes she noticed three black balls speeding towards at incredible speed similar to an bullet. Quickly she sidestepped as the three balls hit the wall next to her creating small craters in it. Her eyes twitched as she turned to where they came from her and noticed a black haired twin tailed Japanese girl in her early teens.

The girl wore a red turtleneck with a short black skirt and a red coat over it looking extremely dissatisfied: “The hell was that for!?” Kiana’s annoyed voice echoed through the alleyway. A similar ball formed in the girls hand and Kiana just clicked her tongue. How this girls black balls even worked Kiana did not know: “Who are you and what are you doing in my city.” Kiana blinked at the girl’s question and tilted her head confused: “Are you this town’s mayor or something? And since when do mayors shoot people on sight with black balls?” Kiana’s annoyed toned turned to curiosity as she spoke.

The girl apparently did not like that and another shot was fired. Kiana leaned back as it passed by her creating another hole in the wall behind her: “Don’t even pretend! You jumped from twenty stories down and walked it off like it was nothing. You’re obviously involved in the moonlit world! Tell me are you the dead apostle who has been active around these parts recently?” The girl’s furious voice echoed with the question hanging the air.

Kiana blinked for a second and sighed scratching the back of her head: “I-I really don’t know what you’re talking about cutie.” The girl’s furious expression lessened a little as confusion replaced it bit by bit: “Yo-you’re not the dead apostle?” “Nope. Never even heard of it.” Kiana said and shrugged her shoulder. The girl looked at her for a second as if assessing her. But before she could say anything else a scream echoed through the alleyway.

Kiana turned to the sound and waved the girl off: “Honestly would love to continue talking to a cute girl like you but duty calls, and besides I got Mei-senpai already in my heart.” Giving the girl a salute Kiana sprinted off into dark alleyway leaving the other girl in confusion: “What just happened?” The girl muttered quietly to herself. Blinking she shook her head and quickly ran after Kiana: “Hey, we’re not done here!”

Kiana did not hear it already too far away. As she arrived at the location where the scream came from the only thing she saw was woman’s corpse. Looking down she noticed some bite on the neck. Crouching down she frowned at the heavy bite in the neck. (Was this some kink play gone wrong?) She could not help but think to herself.

Hearing heavy breathing she turned around seeing the same girl she left behind just a few moments ago. The glare directed to her quickly vanished after noticing the corpse in the alleyway: “What are you doing here?” Kiana asked standing up and turning her back to the corpse. The girl didn’t answer raising her arm aiming another one of her black balls in the direction of Kiana.

Kiana frowned as she noticed the ball wasn’t completely aimed at her. Looking over her shoulder she noticed the corpse had risen to its feet it’s flesh rotting at an extremely fast rate. It was almost standing directly behind her it’s mouth wide open ready to take a bite from her throat. Before the corpse had a chance the same black ball hit the face of the corpse destroying the head of it as the rest of the body fell onto the ground.
“Helping out an idiot .” The self-satisfied voice of the girl echoed in the alleyway. Kiana frowned looking at the corpse(a zombie, but how? There was no Honkai…). Kiana smirked towards the girl: “Thanks for the save.” The girl huffed and walked past her and crouched down inspecting the corpse: “Well it’s obvious you have nothing to do with what I am investigating.” Kiana smiled but It turned a bit awkward as the girl turned her gaze to Kiana for a moment with a glare: “But don’t think I will just forget you showed up in my territory without a warning.” The girls eyes drift back to the corpse and had her hand near the corpse. She began muttering in German as her hand lit up.

Frowning Kiana looked up seeing a red spear silently heading towards the girl. Grabbing her by the turtleneck Kiana pulled her back: “What are you!?” The girl’s offended voice screamed in protest. It stopped as the spear hit the ground where she was just a moment ago stabbing deep into ground. Kiana grinned at her “We’re even now.” Looking at where the spear came from she saw a man above them with a wide grin as he began to slowly clap. “Well, well, well I did not expect the Tohsaka’s to be contact with some capable help.” Kiana was silent as she looked the man up and down. His figure was mostly hidden in a light brown cloak and hat: “Although the help does seem to have a questionable fashion sense.” The man said and Kiana’s eyes twitched at the obvious provocation. “Says the man wearing clothes from the nineteen hundreds.”

Tohsaka’s mocking voice came out as multiple dark balls shot towards the figure. The man did not even bother to dodge as the balls hit him and did nothing. The man scoffed offended: “Basic magecraft such as this has no effect on dead apostle’s girl. Although given your father’s early demise it makes sense your education is lacking.” Tohsaka’s face grimaced as she grabbed a gemstone from her pocket: “Shut your mouth!”

The gemstone was thrown into the air as it shone brightly. Three separate beams came from the gem aimed towards the man. The first beam the man dodged by jumping down. The second was blocked by what seemed to be some form in energy barrier. The third hit the man in the chest as dust clouds filled the alley way. Kiana narrowed her eyes in as the man’s figure became more clear.

His wild dark grey hair waved in the air. He seemed to be about 2 meters tall with big muscles. His nails were extended as if they were claws. He had a toothy grin as his red eyes stared both of them down. Kiana turned to corpse still laying in the alley way and back to the man: “Why did you do that?” The man turned to her uninterested: “What, having dinner? A man has to eat, no?” Tohsaka turned to her annoyed whispering to her so only Kiana could hear: “Focus, we’re up against a dead apostle here.”

Taking advantage of the short moment Tohsaka’s eyes were on Kiana he instantly appeared in front of her. His hand in a forward motion aiming towards her heart. Tohsaka’s eyes widen in shock at the speed. A sicking crunch could be heard as Kiana’s leg connected to the man’s chest. She felt as she broke multiple ribs in his chest and send him back flying where he came from into a wall. Dust clouds showed up everywhere obscuring the man from view.

Tohsaka was breathing heavily her arm on her chest for a moment. Kiana started walking towards where she kicked him stretching her back believing it was over. Tohsaka glared at Kiana shooting multiple balls toward the dust cloud: “It’s not over!” Kiana had a moment of confusion as the man sprinted out of the dust cloud moving as if his ribs were never broken. Kiana blocked the first punch and winced from the strength of the punch.

“A dead apostle can heal so long they have blood and he just had a meal!” Tohsaka’s voice echoed and Kiana blocked another punch from him and punched back. Her hand was caught and Kiana felt herself thrown into the air. The man raised his arm aimed towards Kiana as a fireball formed in his hand “Ignis!” The man’s voice echoed as the fireball shot towards Kiana into the air.

Kiana covered her face with her arms as the fireball consumed her. Tohsaka gritted her teeth as the man turned to her. Grabbing an obsidian gem she threw it in front of her as the man sprinted towards her. The men almost reached her as the gem broke and a dark field appeared around him. The man suddenly felt an increase in gravity as he was forced to a kneeling position, and the ground cracked all around him. Gritting his teeth he looked up seeing Tohsaka with a topaz in her hand.
“A corpse is a corpse.” Tohsaka said in German and the man’s eye widen. Tohsaka threw the gem at his feet as it exploded and a screamed in pain: “Ah! You’re becoming quite a troublesome little girl.” The gravity was dispelled by the man, and he stood up. Before he could move, he felt something hitting his head. Kiana falling down kicked his head into the stone floor below. A gun suddenly appeared in her hand as four gunshots were heard and fired into his head. Each hole from the gun wound instantly healed in less than a second. Tohsaka noticed Kiana did not even seem a bit burned from the fireball.

Before the man tried to grab her leg but Kiana jumped off of him before he could do so. A mocking laughter escaped the man “A magi using guns? How hilarious. Sangius funis!” The spilled blood from the man began to take shape into whiplike shape. The man started swinging it around and aimed it towards Kiana. Tohsaka put her hand in her cloak and widened her eyes as she felt no other gem.

The rope like shape of the blood turned harder and into a spear as it got closer to Kiana. Gritting her teeth Kiana started dodging them. Every two strikes from the man Tohsaka could hear a gun shot. The man not even bothered ignored the wounds as Kiana exclaimed in frustration: “This is ridiculous!” The spear grazed her cheek as a bit blood spilled. The man sniffed the air and his eyes widened for a moment before a giant grin came on his face. Kiana felt her back against the wall as the spear aimed for heart.

Kiana struggled as the man tried to force through her grip and stab her heart. Tohsaka shot a black ball towards the spear breaking it into pieces. The man lost a bit of balance and Kiana took advantage hooking her feet behind his and pulling causing him to fall onto the ground. A spear appeared in her hand to Tohsaka’s surprise and Kiana drove it into the man’s chest. Letting go of the weapon Kiana let out a breath.

*boom* the spear broke apart as the man’s wound forcefully healed itself. Kiana felt her eye twitched and, in the distance, heard sirens ring. The man stood up and sighed and grinned at the both of them: “Let’s continue this another time. Although you could follow, I am excited how this could go on.” With that the man jumped on top of a roof disappearing.

Kiana was breathing heavily looking where the man disappeared to and turned to Tohsaka and grinned: “You weren’t bad.” Tohsaka looked at her like she was crazy: “What is wrong with you?! Fighting a dead apostle in hand-to-hand combat even the most dedicated exorcists aren’t that insane!” Kiana blinked in surprise as Tohsaka walked up to her looking extremely furious. The sounds of sirens got closer, and Kiana looked awkward. “Can we do this somewhere else.” Tohsaka gritted her teeth and spat out a “Fine.” Kiana smiled and grabbed her hand much to Tohsaka’s shock “Great I know a place! ”

Rin did not know what to expect where this white-haired girl was dragging her too. But this was definitely very low on that place. In the sewers in a big empty part of it. In the corner of it was some hasty put together tent with a self-made bed. The physical monster that could fight a dead apostle with her fist grinned at her with a bit of embarrassment: “I know it’s not much, but I build it up in just three days.” Looking closer at her face the cut she has gotten from the fight had already healed.
Tohsaka felt her eyes twitch and trying to ignore the smell. Taking note of the days, she looked at the girl: “So, you are the vigilante?” Kiana shrugged and nodded and grabbed two cans of soda and threw one to Rin: “Yeah it was just so I can have a bit of cash. And not like I mind stealing from thieves.” Opening the can of soda Rin noted down her surroundings. There were no defences. It was an ordinary shack in every way imaginable and that just confused Rin more.

Taking a sip from the sugary contents of the can Rin looked at Kiana: “Are you a magus?” Kiana turned to her with a genuine confused expression: “What’s a magus?” Rin felt her anger flare up again but furtherly explained: “Somebody that uses magecraft.” Kiana’s confused expression stayed the same and Rin felt her eye twitch: “Somebody that uses magic.” Kiana’s expression lit up happy she finally understood the question and looked at Rin with a genuine smile: “No.”

Rin took a deep breath and messaged her eyebrows. She had already suspected this but having confirmation did not make it easier. This girl had enough strength to fight a servant yet was seemingly completely ignorant of the moonlit world. There was always the possibility of Kiana has been deceiving her but looking at Kiana’s genuine expression and her current surroundings Rin mused that was a low possibility.

“Ah right you don’t know my name! the name’s Kiana Kaslana, just call me Kiana.” Rin nodded her head: “You might have already heard my last name; however introductions are still in order. The name’s Tohsaka Rin call me in whatever way you prefer.” Kiana nodded with a what Rin could only call a goofy grin: “Sure, Rin.”
Sighing feeling a bit more calmed down Rin started to think: “You have no idea what you fought just now did you?” Kiana shook her head and stretched. Only now did she notice the rather unique clothes Kiana wore: “Nope aside from that the guy is a murderer and can make zombies apparently.” Rin sighed and thought for a moment: “Well to make it easier for you to understand just think of the man as a vampire without the weaknesses of one. As for his healing it isn’t normal. Dead apostles heal because of a curse that reverse time on any wound they suffer. Which is why your lance idea did not work.”

“Ooh.” Kiana said as if understanding “So how are we going to catch the guy.” Rin blinked for a moment and turned to Kiana: “You wish to help me?” Kiana looked confused at her: “Of course.” Rin looked at Kiana’s genuine face and sighed. With Kirei gone for a long while she was in need of any help she could get for dealing with a dead apostle: “Fine but you’re following my lead, understand? No more running into danger head long like before.”

Kiana was silent for a moment but eventually “Yeah sure. Now how do we make sure this guy doesn’t make half the city into zombies.” Rin smiled: “A dead apostle’s curse strength is tied to the moon. So, if we were to attack him in daylight regenerating is much more expensive on his blood supply. Compared to the full moon of tonight where dead apostles are practically invincible.”

Kiana nodded putting a finger on her chin: “So we have to find him during the day… best to do it when he’s alone no need to involve civilians.” Rin nodded in agreement. She has no desire to alter the memories of ordinary civilians. Looking around Rin bit her lip at how vulnerable Kiana was. It would be of no help if her only help against the dead apostle were to be assassinated during the night.

Looking at Kiana who tilted her head in confusion at Rin’s stare. Sighing Rin spoke up “Come on we’re going to my home.” Kiana looked at her confused: “What, why?” “It’s not safe here. You’re of no use to me if you’re killed in your sleep.” Kiana was silent for a moment and looked around then sighed: “Yeah, you’re right. But you’re sure your fine with that?” Rin felt her eyes twitch: “I wouldn’t have told you if I weren’t! so stand up and let’s get a move on. I want to get a bit of sleep this tonight at least.”

Kiana nodded and stood up. Looking around Rin noticed she grabbed some stuff that looked unfamiliar to her. Waiting for a second Rin started noticing Kiana did not have any other clothes: “Don’t you have any other clothes?” Kiana looked at her and shook her head: “Nah I got here without preparing for it. Still have to shop for new clothes.”

Rin looked Kiana up and down noticing they were about the same height and body type. Then how Kiana’s jacket seemed slightly singed and her skintight broken with some tears. The jacket had a logo which appeared to be two wings. It was difficult to tell given the logo was ripped apart making it almost impossible to look at it clearly. Her body suit seemed to be missing sleeves underneath the jacket: “I’ll give you some clothes now let’s get going.” Rin turned around her steps echoing in the sewers clearly wanting to leave fast. Kiana having put some stuff in a plastic bag ran after her: “Wait up, Rin!”

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rin saw her home enter her sight and she felt her shoulders sack down in relieve. Kiana’s constant talking still filled her ears and her not so subtle curiosity about Rin’s life. “You’re like an actual mage that’s pretty cool. Can you make a fireball like that guy did?” Rin sighed and nodded her head; “I could but it would be a lot less effective for me. The dead apostle put a ridiculous amount of prana into that spell for it to be that dangerous. That spell is much more convenient for turning on the stove.”

Rin glanced at Kiana’s confused expression and sighed at her ignorance: “Prana is magical energy.” Kiana’s face lit up: “Ah, I see! Is that your home?” Kiana pointed towards Rin’s mansion, and she nodded grabbing her keys and a sigh left her: “Yeah…” As she opened her gate and stepped inside, she felt her bounded field once again under control.

Bounded fields were a standard form of magecraft. They were simple in principle but could be mastered to great heights. In essence bounded fields were just that, a field covering a magus’s base of operations or were used to create space for magical circles in magi conflict. The Tohsaka’s have been magi for many generations and as such their bounded field protecting their home is extremely complex with many effects. And from all that the bounded field felt cold and calculating to Rin.
The bounded fields had many effects from defence mechanisms, Detecting the intent from everyone who stepped into it, bringing out calming sensations making those who do not notice it much more comfortable than they normally would be. As Rin turned to Kiana as she stepped into the range of the bounded field, she noticed a few things. Kiana seemed to be completely unaware of the bounded fields effects or that it exists. Yet even though the bounded fields informed Kiana was no danger to her that orange eye of hers made Rin feel uncomfortable.

Kiana’s shoulder’s dropped down and seemed more relax. A relieve sigh left her. Kiana looked around with a smile: “You have a nice place.” Her positive words echoed through Rin’s ears. Rin looked around and awkward smile came onto her face: “Yeah, I guess.” Kiana looked confused for a moment: “Is everything all right?”
Rin looked annoyed for a moment before a smile covered it up: “Nothing for you to worry about. You will leave after the dead apostle has been dealt with after all.” Turning her back to Kiana she walked to the front door and opened it. Walking into hall she looked at the neat and tidy. Kiana walked inside past her and Rin closed the door. Rin looked at the clock noticing it was already three AM. “Come on I’ll show you where you can sleep.”
Rin walked past Kiana towards the stairs into the second floor leading her to the guest room. Opening the door, it showed an old wooden styled king-sized bed with two nightstands next to it. There was also a big closet and desk in the room: “It is not much but it will suffice.” Kiana looked at her with a bit of an awkward smile: “Thanks for this” Rin sighed walking past Kiana “Just be helpful against the dead apostle”.

Rin was walking towards her bedroom her mind still thinking over the battle that has not even happened an hour ago. If she just taken more jewels with her Rin was certain it would have been possible to take on the dead apostle together with Kiana. Sighing she opened the door into her room. There was no room for regrets after a battle already has taken place.

Kiana opened her eyes in a wide-open courtyard from Saint Freya. “Kiana.” Kiana’s eyes widen and turned around seeing a tall Japanese woman standing behind her. Dark long hair was behind with a gentle smile on her lips eyes closed. She was dressed in her Saint Freya’s school uniform. She is wearing a red and black dress with a brown top, red sleeves, black gloves, yellow, black and red thigh highs with black and red shoes. “Mei-senpai…” Kiana said and instantly regretted at seeing the smile turn into a little smirk as a giggle escaped the figure “You always fall for this K423.”

Kiana turned around seeing another Mei-senpai behind her this time with her eyes open. She wore a familiar Halloween costume. Kiana could still the remember when Mei showed her succubus costume to her with a embarrassed expression. But instead of those lovely indigo go eyes that would stare at her with affection were Bright orange eyes with ridicule in them. “Stop wearing her face Sirin.” Kiana angrily muttered out staring at Sirin. Suddenly another figure appeared next to her once again in the form of Mei whispering in Kiana’s ear. In the outfit Kiana saw her for the last time. Where Kiana could still hear Mei beg her to return to Saint Freya. “But wasn’t this once one of your fantasies Kiana~”

A gunshot echoed throughout the dream scape. Kiana coldly stared at the Sirin imitating Mei who was still grinning at her as blood slowly dripped from her face from the gun shot hole in the centre of her forehead “How cold~ shooting your dear Mei-senpai. Quite unbecoming of a member of house Kaslana, no?” “Shut up you know nothing.” Kiana said back glaring at Sirin.

Sirin laughed and walked a bit away from Kiana. The fake Mei’s around disappeared and her the body Sirin was walking around changed. The dark hair into the same pale white of Kiana flowing freely. Her clothes began to mirror that of Kiana and Sirin’s face turned into an exact copy of her own the only difference was being her two bright burning orange eyes.: "Every Kaslana bold must live by their oath. Smash the vile Honkai, and purge the false gods. Your sires sleep in the fields, as humanity's brave shields. By the Judgment of Shamash, Kaslana’s die and never yield. Your little family motto isn’t that right K423."

Kiana scowled and the dreamscape changed into the familiar alleyway. The woman’s dead corpse laying on the ground “Your humanities brave shield wasn’t it? You keep failing at that part don’t you? I do have to give you credit for ark city but I wonder. If we counted those who you failed to the ones you saved which number would be higher?” Sirin posed that question with an almost disgusting innocent tone putting a finger on her chin. Her smile swiftly turned into a arrogant smirk seeing Kiana’s difficult expression “Who am I kidding? It’s obvious which number would be higher, isn’t that right K423?”

Kiana scoffed and her glare bore into Sirin’s head: “Don’t put the blood on your hands and blame me for it Sirin. And stop calling me K423 you know that’s no longer my name.” Sirin laughed for a moment as if she heard the biggest joke in a long while: “You are so hilarious K423. Taking the name of that poor girl that died saving you.” The surroundings changed to interior of a aircraft. A man was in the front seat driving with two near identical girls in the backseat. One with two bright blue eyes while the other one had bandages covering a single. “Look at that poor girl looking so happy.” In a instant the aircraft was hit by something creating a giant hole in the ship. The girl was nearly sucked out by the other identical girl covered in bandages grabbed her hand trying to keep her in the ship. However the suction was too much and the young child could not hold on and the two bright blue eyes sucked out of the ship. The memory stopped at the image of the girl flying out of the ship.

“And there goes the first person you failed to save.” Sirin’s mocking voice sounded and Kiana sighed “Is this the best you can do or are you running out of ideas.” Sirin was silent for a while “I can get creative.” Kiana rolled her eyes “You can’t, always the same with you.” Closing her eyes Kiana breathed in and out: “I am done with this.” “Fine, fine. I don’t mind waiting a few more weeks. The results will stay the same. After all K423 you’ll need my power someday and that chicken is no longer capable of protecting you.” Sirin said as her body dissolved. Kiana didn’t dignify Sirin’s taunt with a response sitting on a bench in the dreamscape. Opening her palm a soft red feather barely staying aflame “Fu Hua…”

The next morning Rin’s peaceful sleep was disturbed for the fifth time by the ringing of the most evil thing that exist, her alarm. Laying on bed her she covered her ears in annoyance and she grabbed the clock and threw it at a chair in the room screaming “I’m up!”. Sitting on the edge of her bed Rin rubbed her tired eyes and dragged herself through her morning routine. After showering she walked down and turned on the kettle for some morning tea. “Feuer” a small flame from her hand turned on the fire from the kettle.

Turning on the radio she started to listen to the radio as she waited on thew water to boil. “Another three corpses have been found this morning around Fuyuki. The police have yet to make a announcement-” The radio continued on and Rin’s tired mind tried to remember the details. It seemed the dead apostle at the very least had another three victims. As the kettle made a ear piercing sound her mind woke up. Blinking her eyes she shook her head and poured herself a tea cup and looked outside the window. However instead of the usual sight of a peacefull garden there was a new addition. Kiana practicing some kind of martial arts in the morning dew.
Rin’s mind twisted in confusion at the sight. Slowly memories came up one after another and Rin sighed. Rubbing her head she looked back at the white haired figure In her garden noticing the concentrated expression. Rin couldn’t help think it was a refreshing sight compared to her almost continuous grin or easy going expression. Taking a deep breath and smelling the tea she took a sip. She looked inside the kettle and noticed enough water and she made another cup. Placing them both on a silver tray Rin walked outside and placed it on a outdoor table. Rin turned around to call out to Kiana but was surprised to see the silver haired woman already in front of her with a grin “Hey.”

Rin was surprised at the casual greeting and flicked her head “So you already noticed me, huh?” Kiana giggled “You were standing like a zombie in the kitchen. Who wouldn’t notice you?” A blush covered Rin’s face thinking off how she must have looked barely awake. Huffing she put her arms crossed and looked away from Kiana “Well I’m simply not used to have visitors over!” Kiana saw the reaction and looked a bit amused and grinned putting a hand on her hip “Well did you sleep all right at least?” Rin nodded her head grabbing the second cup of tea handing it over to Kiana who accepted it. “Quite well and did you get any shut eye? You’re awake quite early.”

Kiana smiled and took a sip from the cup and nodded “I have gotten used to waking up early these last few months.” Rin nodded ignoring the fact Kiana did not answer her question. Kiana put the empty cup down and stretched “Well I will take a shower now.” And with that Kiana walked inside leaving Rin alone in the courtyard. Rin looked at two jade birds sitting in the courtyard and whispered something in german. The jade birds began to move and fly into the air and Rin went back inside with the tray. Stopping Rin muttered to herself “Ah right Kiana needed some clothes.”

Both Rin and Kiana were walking around in Fuyuki city. The sun was set high in the sky causing it to be extremely hot. Kiana wore a white blouse with some jeans. She also loaned some brown shoes from Rin. In the distance the sounds of everyday life could be heard. People enjoying their day out and going shopping to people sitting and eating with their families. Rin was walking seemingly not really focused on her current surroundings. Kiana grabbed Rin’s and said: “Come on let’s get something to eat.”

Rin opened her mouth wanting to say no but her stomach growled and a small blush came onto her face: “Sounds like an excellent idea.” Smiling Kiana dragged her towards where a bunch of people were sitting and eating. A waiter soon came by them and they both ordered. Kiana was excitedly waiting on her food and Rin was waiting for her familiars to send any interesting pieces of information. Looking at Kiana Rin remembered something interesting. Leaning forward she smirked and asked Kiana “Who’s Mei?” Kiana body stiffened surprised before an awkward smile came onto her face “Hod do you know about Mei-senpai?” Rin smirked widened in amusement: “Mei-senpai is the only one in my heart. Was that not what you said when we met?”

An embarrassed expression came onto Kiana’s face. Kiana looked away from Rin’s smirking face and scratched her cheek. “She’s a… friend.” Rin raised an eyebrow: “That’s all? I expected more from someone that has claimed your heart.” Rin said those more in jest but seeing a hurt look on Kiana’s face a short pang of regret welled up in her chest “Things were complicated.” That was the only thing Kiana said in response to Rin’s words. A waiter came by and placed their food on the table. Kiana and Rin started eating. “Mei was kind.” Rin looked at Kiana in surprise and Kiana continued looking at the food with as a loving smile bloomed on her face, as if remembering something beautiful: “She was a great cook actually. Learnt it for me and I loved it every time she cooked for me, didn’t matter what it was. Not to mention how smart she was-” Kiana kept on going and Rin listened with a bit of intrest.

Rin had expected some level of affection given what Kiana said before but this was a bit beyond affection. Kiana had only been talking for a few minutes while playing with her hair but hadn’t stopped once to catch her breath. Her eyes were distant lost in memories and Rin felt like she stepped on a landmine. As Kiana kept talking Rin learned more of this woman than she would have expected. Clothing style, hobbies, abilities, and her general temperament. As the breakfast continued Rin noticed Kiana got more comfortable with sharing information. If it was because she was talking about something she was familiar with or because she got simply lost in her memories, Rin did not know.

After some time Kiana froze up as an embarrassed blush came onto her face “Ah sorry I just sometimes get lost when talking about her.” Rin shook her head and took another bite “Don’t worry I do not mind. It appeared you had something to get off your chest.” Kiana blinked and a soft smile appeared on her face. “Thank you for listening Rin.” Rin smile kept her smile and placed her hand on table and her prana surged and created a bounded field around them. “Don’t worry but let’s talk about a bit more important matters now. If I remember right you do not know anything about dead apostles and magecraft if I am correct?’ Kiana nodded her head “Not a clue. Is it something common?”

Rin shook her head “Nothing of that kind it’s quite opposite in fact. Magecraft is a secret art and must be kept that way and there are organizations made to keep it so.” Kiana listened closely “So no talking about magic with ordinary people?” Rin nodded her head in confirmation “Indeed. Now as for the dead apostle just think of it as a undead monster. It needs blood to stay inside of this world. All the dead apostle’s carry their curse which they can infect other people with their bite so whatever you do, do not get bitten by the dead apostle. ” Kiana chuckled “Well I wasn’t planning on letting that guy sink his teeth into me anyway.” Rin nodded “Well so long you remember that you’ll be fine. From what I’ve seen your capable enough to fight him. Now some basic information about magecraft.”

Kiana gained a excited glint in her eyes “You’re gonna tell me about magic?” Rin sighed and nodded her head “It’s called magecraft not magic. Do you know why I am comfortable talking about this in such an open environment?” Rin looked at Kiana waiting on a answer. Kiana looked around as if remembering they were out in the open “Oh right no clue.” “I used a spell called bounded field. It’s basically simple in principle. The spell creates a field with certain effects so long prana is provided. I created a bounded field around us after you finished talking about Mei that made sound not leave it and hypnotizes people to not get close.” Rin took another bite from her food finishing her food. Kiana looked around as if seeing something “Is that why the air’s wavy? Although it’s a lot less than in your home.”

Rin blinked in surprise looking at Kiana “Yo-you can see bounded fields?” Kiana looked confused at Rin and hesitantly nodded her head “You’re not supposed to?” Rin stared Kiana in bewilderment and narrowed her eyes at Kiana’s orange eyes “No, you’re not supposed to unless you have a certain mystic eye.” Rin leaned forward taking a closer look at Kiana’s orange eyes. Kiana leaned backwards surprised at how Rin was suddenly so close “What’s a mystic eye?” “just eyes with spells imbued with them allowing for special abilities. Now is there anything special about your eye? It feels… weird” Rin stated and Kiana felt a chill down her spine “No, no it’s nothing special.” Kiana quickly explained. Rin raised eyebrow in suspension but sat back down on her chair. “I’ll go pay and then we can continue searching for the dead apostle.”

Rin and Kiana just walked out of one of the many parks in Fuyuki. As they were walking together they suddenly her a dramatic gasp “Rin Tohsaka out of town with another girl. I must be dreaming.” A short brown haired girl said with an grin and Rin’s face tuned impassive “This is the first I’ve you in the town with someone else going about Rin.” Kiana blinked in surprise and got an easy going smile “Ah you must be a friend of Rin’s!” The girl kept her smirk and put her and on her hip “we’re more like rivals but it wouldn’t be wrong to call us that either. As much as Rin always denies it.”

Rin sighed and crossed het arms “Ayako it’s great to see you. How has archery practice been going for you lately?’ Ayako sighed rubbing the back of her head: “Nothing much although Shinji’s been a pain in the ass. At this rate he’s gonna try to get Shirou to quit.” A teasing smirk came onto Rin’s face: “oh is Shinji too much to handle for the archery’s club president? Ayako rolled her eyes “Nothing like that but enough about me who is this girl your hanging out with? She looks like a foreigner and I haven’t seen her before in Fuyuki.” Rin smiled and looked at Kiana “Oh just some distance family from Europe. She has come to Fuyuki to look around. Isn’t that right, Kiana?” Kiana knew that kind of smile and nodded with a wide grin “Yeah, Rin was so nice to let me crash at her place. Fuyuki is a nice place you two got here.”

Ayako shrugged her shoulders “A nice place huh? Never really thought about it. I guess Fuyuki is a pretty nice place to live. Not too big, normally almost no crime, a great shopping mall and a nice forest in the surrounding area to hang out.” Kiana grinned “You guys regularly hang out in the forest?” Ayako giggled and nodded “Yeah it’s a nice place for a bit of privacy ya know. No one will bother you there if you want some privacy with some friends.” Rin frowned and seemed into thought.
“Ah how long will you stay in this place Kiana? Is it just for the vacation or will you join the new school year?” Kiana looked unsure and shrugged “I am not really sure on what I’ll do after this. Just living life I geuss.” Ayako smiled “You’re certainly not like Rin. Well I got to go it was nice catching up with you Rin.” Rin smiled “Certainly it was a good conversation.” As Ayako walked off Kiana turned to Rin “So any idea where going next?” “The forest. Apparently it’s a good place for privacy.” Rin answered with a frown.

Kiana was walking around the forest. The sun was almost completely blocked by the trees and their leaf’s. Walking carefully she turned to Rin “Did we have to stray off the path?” Rin grunted and nodded “Yeah there’s no way the dead apostle is on the path. But a bit more hidden close to it? Absolutely.” Kiana sighed “Okay and why are you so sure the dead apostle is here anyway? Aren’t vampires supposed to be in some mansion?”

Rin shook her head “No this is a recently new dead apostle given how he acts. New dead apostles cannot be in the sun. So a densely covered forest would be a nice place to wait out the sun. At first I thought he hid in the sewers but my familiars already checked them and could not find him.” Kiana sighed stepping over a big root “Very nice and all, but how will we find him in this massive forest anyway? I barely can look in front of me!” Rin sighed and shrugged her shoulders: “No clue but I rather find him in the day then fight him again while it’s night. “ Quietly she muttered to herself “This already costed me a fortune that fake priest better compensate me.”

Kiana raised an eyebrow but ignored it and continued walking through the forest. Eventually she saw a giant castle in the middle of the forest. Around it was that same weird field like Rin’s house but a bit different: “You think he is in there.” “No. there’s no way.” Rin instantly replied. “That’s the Einzberns castle although they are there not currently not in Fuyuki the dead apostle must be suicidal to even think of taking over their castle.”

Kiana nodded and sighed “Of course it can’t be that easy. Well let’s get to it.” As they walked around the day past by slowly. The sun almost dipped down and the night was soon coming. Rin pursed her lips “Let’s go back.” Kiana nodded her head “All right.” As they were making their way back to Fuyuki Kiana stopped and Rin bumped into her back: “ugh, why did you stop? We don’t hav-” Kiana summoned the exact same lance that was destroyed before and threw it with all her might. Rin could only barely follow it as it pierced through a tree creating hole in it hitting the dead apostle who has behind it.

The lance went through the dead apostle as a hole was made in the dead apostle’s stomach. The sound of the tree collapsing onto the ground echoed throughout the forest causing a dirt cloud the shroud the dead apostle’s figure. A wave of magical energy flowed around Rin and Kiana causing Rin to frown: “He made a bounded field.” “What does it do?” Kiana quickly asked her eyes scanning around trying to locate the dead apostle.

The surrounding area changed into near absolute darkness. It was as if not a single piece of sunlight entered the area. Rin bit her lip as sweat started to form on her head: “He prepared a trap for us…” Kiana clicked her tongue and pulled Rin by her turtleneck as the claws graced Rin’s cheek. Kiana’s fist met the dead apostle’s face causing him to wince in pain and take a few steps back. “Can you undo it?” Kiana asked as she watched the dead apostle disappear into the darkness again.
Rin nodded with a frown biting her finger “Just buy me some time to find the wards!” Kiana nodded “Then get to it I’ll hold him off.” A fireball emerged from the darkness and another lance appeared in Kiana’s hand and she threw it to intercept. As the ball and lance met a explosion of flames burst forth. Rin crouched down as her magical energy slowly traced over the ground searching for any weak sports.

The dead apostle emerged from the flames his clawed hand swiping down towards Kiana(Ah you really think you can protect her long enough?) Kiana ignored Sirin’s voice and put her arms in x form to block the attack. The dead apostle’s right leg hit her in the side and Kiana grunted. Grabbing the arm Kiana threw the dead apostle over her towards the ground. Grinning the dead apostle looked towards Rin that had just stooped up and ran towards the south.

Before the dead apostle could move a lance pierced through his calf. Glaring the dead apostle grunted: “You know I won’t have to stop her. I just have to kill you and Tohsaka would be helpless.” The dead apostle’s wound healed and the lance broke into pieces and Kiana blocked a kick that went towards her stomach forcing her a few meters back. The ground lit up as a torrent of flames rose up into the sky engulfing Kiana.

Rin sprinted through the endless darkness. Following the traces of magical energy leading her to the first ward of the bounded field. The ground shook and Rin almost tripped looking back Rin couldn’t see anything. (The hell!? Both of them weren’t this strong when they fought in the city.)Gritting her feet she could only trust in Kiana. As she reached the first ward point she saw an dead body with a magical circle engraved into them. She gritted and bend down and placed her hand on the dead body as magical energy went through her hand “Abzug” was this just a lucky passerby? “Bedienung” just some convenient material for the dead apostle “Mittelstand” in the end it no longer mattered.

Rin looked as the circle broke apart and the first ward broke. Standing up she ran toward the the next one. To use innocents like this. It would draw so much attention and possibly risk exposing the secret of magecraft towards the public? The dead apostle was reckless and desperate but Rin could not understand why. Finding another ward she casted the spell again and she noticed a torrent of flames flow towards the sky and she looked in slight horror.

This bounded field merely blocked out the sunlight and created a wall to keep her and Kiana in. It did not block the sight from those outside of it. And a flame torrent that high? It would be noticeable by the entirety to Fuyuki. Rin sprinted faster running over the uneven ground of the forest. The ground every now and then shook from the battle nearby and she could hear trees break apart and the forest light on fire. Even though flames started to form the darkness stayed the same making it difficult to quickly run across the forest terrain.

Rin still incapable of seeing barely anything further than her own hands. Reaching another anchor of the bounded field. Once again another dead body engraved with a circle. Kneeling down she started the spell again and quickly the third anchor was broken. Rin kept her breath steady as her figure dashed through the forest.
The ground began to shake less. Rin wondered if the battle between the dead apostle and Kiana had neared it’s end? Has Kiana perished and is the dead apostle now going to slit her throat. Unconsciously she started to clutch a gem In her hand. After a few more second Rin reached another anchor. Quickly she started the spell again and the anchor was destroyed. Slowly the darkness went away and sigh of relief left Rin. Only for her heart to sank as it was already dark outside.

However the flames slowly spreading across the trees granted enough light to clearly see. Another shaking in the earth made Rin look towards it direction seeing Kiana face smashed into the ground and the dead apostle’s teeth biting into her neck. Her eyes widen as terror set in her heart. She grabbed a gem to cover her escape but stopped as she heard Kiana screaming with the dead apostle soon following after.

How long had this battle been going Kiana thought to herself. She was used to fighting for prolonged times. It was natural for Valkyries to be on the field for hours on end fighting Honkai beasts. However as the dead apostle’s claw scratches her arm once again drawing blood Kiana winced. The darkness limited her vision and it was clear that this dead apostle had no problem in the darkness. “Oh my look at you. You’re bleeding Kiana.” Sirin’s mocking voice echoed in Kiana’s head.
Once again the dead apostle disappeared into the darkness. How many times was this now? Ten, twenty times? Her body had dozens of small cuts slowly dripping blood. Kiana felt the death core inside of her slowly healing at an accelerated rate. The small cuts healed in seconds and the blood she was missing was quickly replenished.

However the more the core was used Kiana could feel Sirin’s control expending. First it was put of a sentence her and there. Now it’s gotten worse. Phantom images to draining her mental energy (Stop this Sirin we’ll both die!) the only thing Kiana got in response was a amused chuckle from Sirin. The dead apostle noticed the distracted Kiana and did not waste the chance. Kiana felt dead apostle’s hand on her face smashing her into the ground. The force racked her brain and her Kiana’s vision slowly got more dark and unclear. Kiana felt fangs pierce her neck and her blood being sucked. Kiana could see Rin face twist in horror grabbing something in her coat. Then something changed. Her blood it raged and it felt like her body was on fire.

The dead apostle jumped over body clutching his throat looking at Kiana in confusion. He too fell onto his knees as pain flooded his system. Rin’s face went from horror to confusion as both Kiana and the dead apostle started screaming. The dead apostle started scratching open his stomach in futile effort trying to claw out the blood he drank. However his wounds would heal before he could rip it out creating a merciless cycle.

Kiana started clutching her head and the wound from the bite on her neck started to steam much to Rin’s confusion. Rin ran up to Kiana glancing at the dead apostle who was on his knees. Rin surmised her was no threat in the tortured state he was in. Rin muttered a spell as her magical energy entered Kiana’s body looking what was happening. However the moment the magical energy interacted with Kiana’s blood the entire spell broke apart it’s mystery failing to keep it together.

Blinking in surprise Rin used her finger to scoop up a bit of Kiana’s blood and tried to enter magical energy into it with no success. Whenever magical energy would touch the blood it would break apart. Looking back over at the dead apostle and back to Kiana Rin felt her stomach drop. Kiana’s blood destroyed anything created from magical energy which would include the dead apostle curse. Given Kiana was bitten the dead apostle cure should be ravaging her body. And Kiana’s body most likely was destroying the dead apostle’s curse most likely creating a agenizing experience. Rin just hoped Kiana’s blood won this battle somehow and prevent Kiana from turning into an dead apostle. If the holy church or the clocktower were to know of this a sealing designation would be getting off lightly. Kiana could be used as a blood bank for the entirety of her existence.

Blinking in confusion she noticed Kiana had stopped screaming screaming. Rin felt a drop of rain fall onto her onto her head that was quickly starting to get worse. Looking up she started to notice clouds quickly starting to come together as a storm formed above them. The flames that were spreading were all doused by the rain quickly as Rin heard Kiana chuckle. But there was something wrong the voice was different. Her voice it sounded distorted like a mocking imitation of a monster trying to speak like a human.

Looking back at Kiana she saw Kiana stare at her with two orange eyes and a maniacal grin and a chill went down her spine. Waves of magical energy came out of Kiana’s body like a tidal wave making Rin feel sick from the feeling. “Wha-” Four portals opened as out of each them a rope from a unknown material wrapped around her limbs as it kept Rin stuck and pulling her into the air. Rin tried to move her limbs but she was stuck no matter how much force she used.

“HeheheAHHAHA” Kiana’s body exploded in laughter as she stood. Her clothing slowly changed into something unrecognizable. First her shoes changed into a black high heels and her legs began to be covered in black thigh highs. Black and blue mechanical skirt connected toa black and blue suit. A long black and blue glove appeared on her left arm reaching above her elbow and a short black glove on her right hand. Around her collar appeared a golden unknown symbol with black fur coat around her neck. Behind her a wing appeared flowing behind her on the left and three sperate lances Kiana wielded before also floated behind her mirroring the wing.

“Kiana?” Rin’s confused sound asked and the Kiana frowned grabbing Rin by the chin floating above her to look down at her “Do not call me by that name Insect.” Rin felt a chin go through her back as her chin was released “I’m the Herrscher of the void not that my pathetic vessel. Be patient I will deal with you after punishing that parasite” Rin was silent as the word Herscher echoed in her mind. It was an German word meaning ruler. Ruler of the void what did I mean? The Herrscher released and floated over the dead apostle trying to get the Kiana’s blood out of him. He looked at Kiana with “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?”

Rin could not look away as a bright purple lighting bolt bigger than any she seen before crashed down precisely on the dead apostle. Rin just in time closed her eyes and opened seeing the dead apostle skeleton with smoking coming off it. The meat started to regrow at a visible pace as the undead curse refused to let the dead apostle die: “You managed to push my vessel to near death and your disgusting disease attempted to change my vessel. The highest punishment is in order for that parasite.”

The dead apostle looked at her in horror as another lightning bolt crashed down. Once again the dead apostle was reduced to nothing but a smoking skeleton and the Herrscher thinking of a idea smirked. Slowly dark vapor came from her hand and enveloped the dead apostle as he regenerated getting between the meat. Rin could see that where the dark vapor touched his flesh would be rapidly rot and fall apart. The dead apostle seemed barely being able to contain his screams as his limbs refused to follow his orders as they were stuck in a cycle of rot and regeneration.

His screams echoed in Rin’s ear and the Herrscher sighed as another portal opened and the dead apostle was thrown through it “Too much noise.” The Herrscher turned back to Rin and Rin started to breath harder as panic flooded her body. What the hell was this being that has taken over Kiana’s body? And did it take over because Kiana went unconscious from the pain. If so why hadn’t this being taken over when she slept. Did Kiana keep the Herrscher prisoner even in her sleep? Were did all this power and magical energy come from? Did Kiana access to it but simply choose not to use it? If so why?

Rin’s thoughts were racing extremely fast but we’re halted as an amused chuckle could be heard and Rin looked up seeing the Herrscher grin at her floating above her with amusement twinkling in her eyes “Go on, it’s amusing seeing insects struggle to comprehend what’s above them.” Rin opened her mouth and closed it knowing words would be useless.Rin’s eyes widen as the Herrscher began to move her arm as began to be covered in those dark mist again. Rin started to struggle pulling her head as far away as she could but the bindings made it useless. The Herrscher seemed merely amused by Rin’s struggle as her hand almost reached Rin’s throat but suddenly stopped. The Herrscher frowned in confusion and tried moving the arm again but failed to do so.

Rin looked confused and so the Herrscher. Fury soon took over the Herrscher’s face “YOU PATHETIC VESSEL DARE T-?!” The Herscher’s wrathful voice sounded throughout the forest but her sentence was cut short and she started to clutch her head. Her eyes started to flicker between orange and blue rapidly as the Herrscher gritted her teeth The Herrscher glared at Rin in resentment trying to move her body towards Rin. The Herrscher was efforts were futile as her body suddenly went limp and fell towards the ground. Rin looked down confused at the unmoving body on the ground. Rin then suddenly felt the rope’s disappear and she followed the Herrscher and fell to the ground: “Wah!”.

Rin stood up and looked over Kiana’s form as the outfit the Herrscher wore disappeared in an instant replaced by her normal clothes. Although mostly ripped through shreds a relieved sigh left Rin. She had survived this ordeal somehow. Looming over Kiana’s body countless thought drifted in her Rin’s mind. Should she kill her? No that was stupid perhaps that would just release the Herrscher. Leave her here alone in the woods? That wasn’t optimal either Kiana clearly wasn’t capable of taking care of herself given her situation before. Give her over to clock tower or the holy church?. Yet as Rin looked at the peaceful unconscious body of Kiana she scoffed and picked her up muttering “You better not make me regret this Kaslana.”

Kiana felt as if she was drowning in an endless darkness. Deep in the distance she heard a muffled sound. It was unclear yet it’s desperation was clear to her. Kiana tried to focus on it and she heard Fu Hua panicked voice “Kiana wake up she is going to die!” Kiana’s eyes opened wide in panic as she felt the familiar feeling of Sirin having taken over. She could look through the eyes of her own body as it moved against her will. The gloves of the Herrscher once more over body. She could see Rin’s composed gaze yet her eyes were terrified as the Herrscher’s hand covered in death’s vapor got loser. “No!” Kiana screamed and her entire body was frozen still.

It was quiet for a quick moment there after Kiana’s outburst. Then the darkness cracked and broke apart as a giant orange eye looked down at her from above “YOU PATHETIC VESSEL DARE T-?!” “Shut your mouth!” Kiana cut her off glaring at the eyeball. “This is your body Sirin with it.” There was a short silence as Kiana felt Sirin’s rage ignite. The eye broke apart and Sirin flew towards her face wrathful but her body was quickly caught in flaming chains in the same way Rin was “You can’t keep me trapped forever Kiana! I will have my vengeance.” Kiana scoffed and created a giant door behind Sirin “Not so long I am alive.” “I swear on the Honkai I will tear your soul apa-!” Kiana didn’t bother for Sirin to finish pushing in the door and closing it. Flaming chains wrapped around the door as Kiana fell to her knees.

Kiana felt hands embrace her and looked behind her noticing Fu Hua smiling softly at her “Rest it’s fine now.” Kiana wanted to say something but her mind was too tired and her mind slept in the embrace of Fu Hua.
