Chapter Text

Till

It's been ten years. Ten years since Till left with Ivan. Everything was... ok.. but... Till heard things.. Things about what happened to everybody. Things that could've happened to him and Ivan. He tried not to focus on them, but that often didn't work. He saw Mizi and Sua's performance. The love and adoration in their eyes as they looked at each other. How pretty they both looked. Especially Mizi. Her pretty eyes and long pink hair. He loved everything about her. Those feelings weren't as problematic as they were when he was younger, but they were still there. He just wanted to talk to her. Make her feel better. Maybe even talk to somebody else about her. Everytime he brought her up however, Ivan didn't seem interested. Till never knew why. Did Ivan hate Mizi? No, that wasn't it. It didnt sound right to him. Ivan being jealous wasn't it either, was it? No. That couldn't be. That'd be absurd. Naturally, Till had to talk to Hyuna about it to make sure he indeed wasn't going insane.

"He loves you."

Excuse me?

Hyuna just stared at him. "Dude, did you even listen to me? He loves you, dumbass." Till blinked a few times.

"Eh?!" Till's face lit up, but he wasn't sure if it was disgust or flattery. Or neither. Hyuna smacked him on the head.

"God, why are you this dense?" She pinched the bridge of her nose, and took a drink of her beer. "Seriously, dude, you've known him for how long? And you've never noticed?" She questioned him as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Well, yeah, I've known him for a while, but that doesn't mean he likes me!" Till nearly stuttered the words as they came out of his mouth.

"Stupid." She took another drink of beer. "See, your drama makes me drink." She got up and walked out, dragging Till along. "Let's go for a walk. You rarely go outside anymore, dumbass."

Ivan

Hyuna and Till ran off, somewhere down the street, while Ivan just leaned against the wall, thinking about life. What a would've happened if Till didnt leave with him? Would one of them had died like Sua had? Would it be Till? Or it would've been him? Either option didnt sound great. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. It was days like these where he was glad he had Till with him. He stood up properly and took a walk. The streets were comforting to him, even though he preferred when Till would walk with him. He thought about everybody. Everybody stuck in that wretched place. After all, the only reason his mind ever drifted there was because of Till talking Mizi all the time. Did Till know she was a lesbian? Probably not. Would Ivan tell him? No clue. He didnt know yet. He did occasionally wonder how Mizi was doing. Ocassionaly. He didn't know what he'd do if Till died. Probably something much, much worse than Mizi when Sua died. Not that he'd ever let Till die. Till was like.. what did Mizi call Sua..? Right.. Till was HIS universe. Just Ivan's. Nobody else's. Sure, Ivan tolerated Till hanging out with Hyuna because, well, they're best friends. And Ivan didn't want Till to hate him for separating the two. He couldn't bear Till hating him. Then, life would have no more meaning to it. Till will never hate him. Not if he has anything to say about it.

Luka

Sua died. It was bound to happen to somebody. Luka was just glad it wasn't him. Sure, that seems selfish, but let's be honest. He didn't want to die. None of them did. But it's always bound to happen. He's tired of everything, sure, he'll admit that, but he didn't want to die. He wasn't suicidal.
Mizi didn't help. As soon as she was able to wander the halls again, she did. And she'd cry. It was annoying to Luka. He honestly thought it was a miracle his ears didnt bleed. He was glad he no longer had someone to cry over. She left a long time ago, and he doubted she'd come back. He didn't enjoy thinking of that, though. Brings up too many bad things that he can't properly process without breaking down, and he isn't allowed to break down. Not anymore. Sure, he feels empathy sometimes, pretty much rarely, towards Mizi when she cries. Of course he never says anything and looks like a dick. Does he care? No, not really. Should he care? Probably. Should he cry for his health? Most likely. Doesn't mean he does. Once him and Mizi had to sing against one another, he did manipulate her a bit, he'll admit, but he got the crap beaten out of him to even it out. So it was all good. He thought. Mizi mysteriously went missing after that, though. And he won it all. He wasnt worried, why would he be? He never really care for her. The only person he ever cared for was Hyuna. Only Hyuna.

Mizi

Running off with Hyuna was not what she had in mind. At all. Till was there too. Wasn't what she had in mind either. The three of them ran from officers, street fighters, people of all kinds, actually. It wasn't what she was used to, but it was a good thing to take her mind off... her..
Sua often appeared in front of her. Her memory. Her ghost. Haunting her. Making it seem like her fault. Rarely, ever so rarely, there's times where everything seems... fine. Like nothing is her fault and that Sua never hated her. Even when it seemed otherwise..

Seeing Ivan again wasnt on her to-do list. It certainly was a tad awkward, since they weren't exactly best friends..? She didn't even know what to call them. Friends? Strangers? They talked once or twice. Never more than that though.
It was rather awkward..

Ivan

Imagine that. Walking, peacefully for that matter, just to see your crush's crush. He didn't know how to feel. He's pretty sure his eye twitched with annoyance along with his smile though. Till raised his eye brows at him, most likely wondering what was happening as Ivan stared at the pink haired girl. Her hair was now shorter, probably something to do the adventures she was on with Hyuna and (his) Till. For some reason that just annoyed him more. Somehow. Hyuna smirked at the small interaction, having to cover her mouth so she wouldn't laugh. Which just got a glare from Ivan. So she just smiled, going over and whispering in his ear. "Aw, is someone scared he's gonna get his boyfriend stolen?" This just resulted in Ivan kicking her in the shin.

"Says the one who left her boyfriend." He snapped back, and they both just glared at each other for a minute. Till and Mizi just facepalmed, most likely thinking they were just stupid, but honestly. They think everything's a bit better with Mizi there to join them.

Chapter Text

-Luka-

Luka almost missed Mizi's sobbing. It was so quiet now. He was the only one left. Just him. He missed Hyuna. He actually began to wonder if she hated him or not. He hoped not. After all, she was the only thing that mattered.

Luka was always a strange child. He knew that. He always hung out with Hyunwoo and Hyuna. Like the three musketeers. Except he loved Hyuna. He loved Hyunwoo too, but Hyuna always took the top place in his heart. He'd do anything for her. Sometimes taking it too far. He related to Ivan in that sense. He saw Ivan wrestle with Till once over a.. flower crown? Yes, that sounded right. And he saw the pure joy on Ivan's face. It felt.. like a relative to his own feelings. He often stared at Ivan and Till when they hung out. Sometimes it was violence, sometimes it was bittersweet. He wish he could be like that. He tried. He tried to cuddle with Hyuna once, but she shoved him off. He didn't what he did wrong. Did he do something wrong? All he wanted to do was ask.
As he got older, he got clingier to Hyuna. Her eyes, her hair, how she treated him. She taught him how to count. He just wanted her to love him. Just like he loved her. That never happened. He knew it never would. Never. He didn't deserve that. That's what he started to believe.

Hyuna and Hyunwoo had hung out more, leaving Luka behind in the shadows. Luka hated it. He hated feeling alone. Why? Why him? What'd he do wrong? Why?! He never understood. He just wanted to be with them. At least one of them. He didn't wanna be alone anymore. He'd often wrestle with Hyunwoo, which he did again, that day. He didn't mean to, but.. He took it too far. Hyunwoo had stopped breathing. Hyuna had stared at him like he was a monster. Yet somehow.. he just laid there. Joy in his chest. He never understood why. He still didn't. Maybe because he didn't have competition for Hyuna's love anymore. They could be happy together. Just the both of them. Hyuna cried. Why'd she cry? She still had Luka. He didn't understand. Shouldn't she be happy? She wasn't. She just pushed him away more. Left him. Left without him. Grew up somewhere else. Left him to rot with everyone else. He hated it. His world was no longer as bright as it was before. Everybody was dull. Dull and boring. He longed to have a relationship with Hyuna. He longed to hold her. He envied Ivan's love for Till. The way he'd look at him. Luka wished he could've had Hyuna look at him like that. He wished. He always wished for that.

Now that Luka was older, everything seemed.. even duller than when he was a child. He heard rumors, of course. Of Hyuna. Being the rebel she is, running around with Till. Luka knew Ivan was with them too. So why couldn't he keep his dog away from his Hyuna? He wondered this a lot. He also wondered if Hyuna forgot about him. Or if she still hated him. He just longed to hold her again. To hug her. To just see her one last time. He felt something drip down his face. Water..? No, tears. Tears? He hasn't cried for so long. Why now? Why now of all times? At least nobody was around to see how pathetic he looked. He was just alone. All alone.

-Hyuna-

Lugging Till back home wasn't the best experience Hyuna had. Till got shot in the leg, because of the dumbass not being careful, no matter Hyuna's warnings. His karma from this is now he can't walk. Hyuna groaned with annoyance, and just dragged him back to their place. When they got back she just threw him on the couch, and called for Ivan.

“Iv! Your boyfriend was being stupid again!” She took a drink of her beer, because somehow she always had some with her.

“Of course he did….” Ivan sighed, looking down at the sleeping Till. He didn't know how the hell he coukd just sleep. He's probably been through much worse though, so he wasn't all that surprised. Hyuna just shrugged and walked outside for a breather. She saw posters, screens, all covered with pictures of Luka. She felt a horrible mix of concern, sadness, worry, and rage all at once towards the shorter blonde. She missed him. She'd admit that. She'd never forgive him for what he did, but.. She missed him. She felt goosebumps on her skin as she looked at his piercing yellow eyes on the glass. Watching her. Always there. Everything seemed intoxicating. The air. It all seemed so.. blurry. She wanted to cry, she wanted to scream. She wanted to find Luka and beat the shit out of him for what he did. Yet.. she also wanted to hold him. She wanted him to hold her too. She wanted them to be able to argue, and then make peace. She wanted him to be out here with the rest of them. Hyuna's eyes shined in the light as the salty tears filled her eyes. Her gray eyes almost looked green in the yellow street lights, as she looked to the sky. The stars only seemed to remind her of what she lost. Her brother, and.. Luka.

-Ivan-

As Till slept on the couch, Ivan watched over him. Mizi had come back in, but just went into her room. Ivan sighed and sat on the floor beside the couch. He brushed a few strands of the blue gray hair out of Till's face, but didn't touch him anymore than that. That'd be pushing boundaries, wouldn't it? Ivan didn't care at the moment. His hand slid down to Till's neck, gently resting there. For some reason, Till's pulse was comforting to him. Really comforting. Ivan hummed, kind of like a lullaby, despite Till already being asleep. He looked so calm, peaceful. Till honestly looked adorable in Ivan's eyes. He couldn't get enough. He remembered when they were younger, how angry Till would get at him. Yet all Ivan thought about was the mere fact that Till looked at him. That's more than he was worthy of, but also less than what he wanted most. Sure, he loved Till looking at him. Sometimes he craved it. Still, he wanted more. He needed more at times. Did he ever get any? Rarely. There were times where he got to wrestle with Till as a child. Times where he got the privilege of even touching his skin. Like now for example. Till was warm. So soft and warm. Ivan was always so.. cold. Cold and rough. The opposite of Till. How would Till ever be able to like someone like him? Could he? No, no. Why was he even thinking of this? He doesn't have a chance with Till. Not when Till adores Mizi, so much.. Ivan slid his hand down from Till's neck, and let it fall by his side. He then stood up and went back to the kitchen. Fuck. He couldn't let this get to him. Till will never love someone like him. Never.

-Till-

When he finally woke up, he had a headache. Just his luck. Ivan was in the kitchen, obviously lost in thought, but Till didn't know why. Was Ivan mad at him? Was he gonna cuss at him because he got injured? Did he really love him like Hyuna had said? Or was it all a lie? Till's head whirled, he must've looked really stupid.

-Ivan-

He heard a soft thud from the living room, and rushed out there. There was Till, halfway on the floor, and halfway still on the couch. He looked a tad dizzy, but he looked so adorable. Till made a cute little yawning noise, which Ivan only interpreted as a small puppy waking up.

-Till-

Till jumped when he noticed Ivan staring at him. Creepy as hell.

“Um.. Good… evening…” Till practically whispered, but he didn't know what time of day it was so.. He didn't know what else to do. It was better if Ivan didn't properly hear him, because then Ivan wouldn't have to correct him on what time it was, and he wouldn't feel stupid. Right?

“Good evening, Till.” Ivan smiled at him. It felt.. cold. Yet warm. Both at the same time. Like a perfect mix. Till felt his cheeks heat up. That wasn't normal.. right?
