And there he was.

Lying on his bed,

Listening to the voice that he wished would just go away for good.

He’s been dealing with it for like a month now,

A month after the shitshow that was the Garden of Delights,

The Beast of Sloth’s obsession with Hollyberry Cookie,

And when he got badly injured himself.

Leaving damaged cracks on his arm.

And causing him to stay in his bedroom for about that long.

Only surviving by the foods the royal family give him,

As they have been starting to worry about him not coming out.

But he supposes that today’s the day he gets out of his room,

And joins them for breakfast.

So he hops out of his bed.

And leaves the room,

But not before he looks at himself in the mirror.

And checks his body out.

With the voice once again,

Harassing him about his self-image.

{Well you should be very lucky that you didn’t become a fatty, you worthless bodyguard.}

{Unlike your arm which still hasn’t healed even after a month now.}

{I mean could you imagine the shock on some of the people’s face if they see that the strong bodyguard like you, actually gotten damaged?}

{And don’t try to hide it with the fact that you were trying to protect Queen Mother. You know damn well that everyone sees you as the strong bodyguard that can’t be hurt.}

{So cover up your shame, you hypocrite.}

Yeah, maybe the voice’s right.

Maybe he shouldn’t reveal the scars to the other people,

Let alone the royal family.

Except for of course Hollyberry Cookie and Tiger Lily Cookie.

So he puts on his suit of armour,

And heads out into the castle’s dining room,

To join the royal family at breakfast.

Even while having breakfast,

Wildberry Cookie couldn’t resist himself from eating some macarons.

As it helps soothe him from whatever pain or emotion he’s feeling right now.

Which the voice in his head does not like.

{Oh jeez, there are macarons, Wildberry Cookie. This is not breakfast.}

{You are eating macarons.}

{Hey! No. What are you doing? Stop it.}

{Stop eating those sweet and go make yourself breakfast.}

{Stop it. Don’t eat one more macaron. Put that sweet down. Do not eat that macaron.}

But still, he ate one more.

{I can’t believe you’ve just ate that macaron. You fatso.}

Jeez, who knew that the voice can be so insulting to him.

But luckily though,

He does have the royal family to comfort him during his time of need.

As they were all shocked to see that he’s out of his room after a month,

Which makes them so happy and relieved to see.

Resulting in a family hug,

Which he likes receiving,

Despite not being a family member by blood.

But it’s to show that family aren’t based on blood,

They’re based on how much they love each other.

After breakfast,

He was about to head out of the castle for the first time in like a month.

Before suddenly,

He was asked by Hollyberry Cookie to do something for her.

“Oy, Wildberry Cookie. Where do you think your’e going? I wanna have a talk with you for a sec.” Hollyberry Cookie asked him.

“Forgive me, Queen Mother. I was just heading outside to do something, I guess.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

“Oh, well that’s good. Because I need you to take Tiger Lily Cookie to the Toy Shop at the markets.” Hollyberry Cookie said to him.

“Why exactly?” He asked.

“Because now that she has been found. I’ve been thinking that it’s time that she gets a doll of her own, just like Princess Cookie with her Pitaya Dragon plushy. As it’s all apart of her princess training.” Hollyberry Cookie replied happily.

Ah yes Princess Training.

He might not have seen it,

Due to being in his room for a month.

But upon seeing Tiger Lily Cookie head into the main room,

Walking like how an actual princess walks,

He can see that the training is actually really good for her.

As ever since she was found and reunited with her true cookie family,

They’ve been working so hard to teach her how to act and even talk like a normal cookie.

And while i’s been working really well with her,

They still let her keep her tiger instincts,

Including adopting both her butter tiger brother and his mate {Who she calls Mei} into the royal family.

But being asked to take her to the shop,

Makes the voice in his head a bit hesitant about it.

{Shit. I can’t take her to the markets.}

{I mean what if there was something in that place that would cause her to go feral and attack a lot of people.}

{She’s not feral, you stupid idiot. She’s been working so hard to be a normal cookie, you idiotic bastard.}

{Your’e a real stupid piece of garbage.}

But still he accepts the job,

As after all this is his first time being an uncle,

Especially to the long-lost daughter of the royal family.

But then when she asks if they can take her tiger brother to the shops too,

The voice also reacts to it very negatively.

{Okay, think idiot. Even though she loves that tiger like it’s an actual brother.}

{You know damn well that tigers can’t be brought to the markets. And for a very good reason.}

{I mean what if, there would be something that would tick the tiger off.}

{And cause it to go ballistic and attack and kill everyone on sight. That would be a huge no-no to you, you worthless bodyguard.}

So he tells her that they can’t bring the tiger to the markets.

Which she understands,

As her brother was too busy with his mate to do anything right now.

And so with Hollyberry Cookie saying goodbye,

Both the niece and her uncle heads out to the markets,

To get that plushy.

While they were walking to the markets,

Wildberry Cookie sees that Hollyberry Cookie has actually made a shopping list for him.

And while it does have the plushy that Tiger Lily Cookie needs on it,

There was something else on the list.

Which turns out to be a bouquet of flowers,

For him to give to Raspberry Cookie.

Which causes him to frown at it,

As why would Queen Mother believe that he is in love with her.

He doesn’t have any attraction to her,

Nor any other girls.

Just men.

Maybe he should tell her that she thought of the wrong cookie he loves,

But his voice knew exactly what he was thinking,

And berates him for it.

Thinking that it would be the best if Hollyberry Cookie doesn’t know that he is attracted to boys.

{Oh don’t you dare think you could just come out of the closet like that.}

{Do you think that Queen Mother would accept you being into boys. When it’s clearly shows that she likes you and that musketeer together?}

{Get real, you stupid bodyguard!}

{After all, you and that wolf captain can’t be together for obvious reasons.}

Fortunately though,

He was snapped out of his train of thought when Tiger Lily Cookie asked him very worriedly.

“Uncle Wildberry? Are…you…okay?” She asked.

Yep, it looks like she’s speaking more clearly,

Which he is proud of her.

But of course he is okay.

Why wouldn’t he?

“Yes. Of course I am fine. But thanks for asking though.” Wildberry Cookie replied to her.

But before they can even reach the markets,

Suddenly they end up having a chat with both Pavlova Cookie and Sugarfly Cookie.

Who are both now happier thenever,

Ever since leaving the Garden of Delights.

“Oh, why hello there. It’s a pleasure to see you two again.” Sugarfly Cookie said happily.

“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you two, also.” Wildberry Cookie said.

And so they talked and talked and talked,

Not realising that they still have to do some shopping,

Which thankfully stopped,

When Pavlova Cookie noticed something on the bodyguard’s hair.

“Hey Wildberry Cookie. I know it’s not that important. But why is there a flower petal on your hair?” The Cupid asked.

Much to the bodyguard’s confusion,

As he doesn’t know why-

Oh my witches.

There really is a flower petal in his hair.

And as he pulls one out.

He looks at it very closely.

And starts frowning at it as well.

{Holy creators Wildberry, did you pulled out some flowers in your sleep again?}

{Because you know well that flowers are for girls.}

Don’t get me wrong,

As he loves flowers.

Especially the red and white roses.

But this flower petal,

Looks a bit different.

As while sure it does have some white colour like the roses.

But it had a different shape.

Why would he have these in his hair?

Before eventually,

He sees that everyone was staring at him to make sure that he’s okay.

{Ah shit, they’re all staring at you now because of the flower petal in your hair.}

{Say something you stupid bodyguard. Open your idiot dumbass mouth.}

“Oh would you look at the time. The store’s about to close in about 2 minutes. So we better get going. Bye!” The bodyguard said happily,

While lying to everyone,

And even taking his niece to the store.

Much to the confusion of the couple.

“But it’s only 9am. Which is when stores usually open.” Pavlova Cookie said with confusion.

As they both wonder why Wildberry Cookie would lie by that,

Yeah it appears that,

Wildberry Cookie is not fine at all…

They finally reach the toy store,

Where they are both greeted by the 2 owners.

Who happens to be a loving couple themselves,

And surprisedly enough, are both male.

Who’m Wildberry Cookie recognises as both Swampberry Cookie and Technoberry Cookie.

As he was shocked to see that apparently,

These two merged their shops together,

As he did see them as rivals during his visit to the markets.

But nevermind that,

As the 2 shop owners greets the 2 family members with happiness.

“Hello there. Wlecome to the Cuddles and Wooden Toy Shop!” Technoberry Cookie greeted the two happily.

“Well, looks like you two made a collaboration.” Wildberry Cookie commented on.

“Yeah, it’s so signify that we’re no longer rivals. Just lovers. But anyways, what kind of toys do you want?” Swampberry Cookie asked.

Wildberry Cookie thinks it out.

Wanting to see if this shop really does have a tiger doll for his niece.

But he also starts to worry that they might not have what he was looking for.

Which once again,

The voice in his head berates him more.

{Oh no, what if these two don’t have the tiger plushy? Now what?}

{Well I could just give her another doll, if that’s okay with her, right?}

{No you idiot! Haven’t you forgotten? Tiger is literally in her name. So she needs that Tiger Plushy.}

{you can’t give her another doll if her name literally has an animal in it. Because it doesn’t make any fucking sense!}

{her name is not Lizard Lily or Horse Lily or even fucking Narwhal Lily.}

{I mean who in the ovens calls their kids Narwhal Lily?}

{witches, your’e so dumb!}

Fortunately though,

He hears Tiger Lily Cookie asking for the doll.

“Do…you…two…have…tiger…doll?” She asked.

And turns out that despite his worries,

They do have the thing that they were looking for.

“Oh yeah, little princess. We sure do. But would you like it in Plushy form or Wooden form?” Technoberry Cookie asked.

“Plushy.” She replied.

And so just like that,

They finally gotten the doll that they were looking for her.

And after the bodyguard pays for it with his coins.

It was now time for the both of them to head to the flower shop,

And get that bouquet of flowers for Raspberry Cookie.

Which he still think was not a good idea.

As he doesn’t even see her as his lover.

Just a friend.

With the only cookie that he has a thing for.

Is-

Suddenly,

He stopped walking,

Just as the two of them were leaving the toy shop.

All the while,

He began to feel a small item in throat,

Which made him gag a lot,

Almost like he was gonna vomit something out.

Much to the worries of those whoa are at the markets,

Including the 2 shop owners,

And Tiger Lily Cookie herself.

And then,

Just as everyone’s least expected it.

{Vomits}

…

Wildberry Cookie violently vomits something out of mouth,

Accompanied with him coughing like he is having an asthma attack or something.

And get this,

The reason why for that sudden vomit,

Was actually because,

Of a flower…

2 to be exact…

Actually 3,

As he sees the third flower on his hand,

Which is now covered in blood and mucus.

He was disgusted and horrified by what just happened to him.

As while it did gave him the answer why he had flower petal in his hair,

It wasn’t the exact type of answer he was looking for.

Before suddenly,

He sees Eternal Sugar Cookie.

Just smiling at him sinisterly.

{What the? What is she doing here in the Hollyberry Kingdoms?}

{Isn’t she supposed to…be-}

And then while he was thinking about this hallucination,

He suddenly collapses onto the ground,

And blacks out.

Much to everyone’s worries for him…

{Wake up you dumbass! We’re at the hospital now!}

Thankfully though,

He was able to wake up.

Where he sees that Hollyberry Cookie was with him,

And was looking very worriedly at him.

And was very relieved to see that he has woken up now.

“Oh holy creators, I’m so glad that you are awake now.” She said happily.

And so he checks his surrounding,

And realises that he’s not at the markets anymore.

So he asks his adoptive mother.

“Hollyberry Cookie? Where are we?” He asked.

“Oh, we’re at the hospital right now. One of the shop owners saw you collapsed and called the ambulance to take you there. And right now, I think he’s having a chat with his twin sister.” Hollyberry Cookie replied.

To which the bodyguard sees Technoberry Cookie having a chat with his twin sister,

Who’s actually Bumbleberry Cookie,

And is actually one of the nurses of the hospital.

And when he asks about Tiger Lily Cookie.

Hollyberry Cookie told him that Swampberry Cookie was kind enough to take her home.

Which was nice to hear.

But what wasn’t nice however,
Was when the twin stopped having a chat,

And one of the twins turns around to face the bodyguard,

And ask him some questions.

Especially about him coughing up flowers back at the markets.

“So Wildberry Cookie. Please tell me. Is this the flower you coughed up earlier?” She asked him.

While holding up a container,

Which contains the white flower he had coughed up.

To which he answers honestly.

“Yes it is. But it doesn’t look anything like the white roses, which is one of my favourite flowers.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

Before eventually,

The nurse gives him some big news.

“Well I did some test on the flower. And turns out that your’e right. This is not a white rose.”

“But, surprisedly enough, a Snowdrop Lily.” Bumbleberry Cookie said.

Say what now?

A snowdrop lily?

Everyone was understandably shocked about the flower that the bodyguard coughed up,

Especially Hollyberry Cookie,

Who, Wildberry Cookie knows, is an expert on every single flowers here on Crispia.

“But that’s impossible. Snowdrop Lillies never grow in the Hollyberry Kingdoms.” The ancient said worriedly.

So with that answer,

It was time for his diagnosis.

And oh boy,

Was it really bad.

“Say, have you all heard about little disease known as the Hanahaki Disease?” Bumbleberry Cookie asked.

“No, we haven’t. Was is it?” Hollyberry Cookie asked.

And so,

She explains what that disease is…

“Hanahaki Disease is a very old disease. It killed 1,000 cookies in the past. But now is seen as the rare disease.”

“The way it happens is that, only cookies who have any unrequited feelings can get it.”

“And the way the disease works is that flowers spread through the lungs with each passing day.”

“Making them cough up from a few flower petal, to a lot of flowers with stems.”

“Before eventually, it results in the cookie who has that disease dying from suffocation and blood loss. Due to how many flowers there are in their lungs.”

“The only 2 ways to get rid of it. Is if someone returns the cookie’s feelings. Or if the cookie gets a surgery.”

“But I would only recommend that latter choice if your crush doesn’t return their feelings. Or is in love with someone else.”

“As if you do go on with the surgery. Then your memories and feelings of the cookie they loved, will go away.”

“Or even worse, you can never love again.” Bumbleberry Cookie sadly explained.

“So what does that mean, sis?” Technoberry Cookie asked.

Before eventually,

She drops a bombshell to both Hollyberry Cookie and Wildberry Cookie.

“I’m sorry, Wildberry. But the results are positive.”

“You do have the Hanahaki Disease.” The nurse said sadly…

As they were walking out of the examination room,

Wildberry Cookie couldn’t help but hear the voice berating him for getting that disease,

All because of his crush that he just can’t let go of.

{Great job, you fucking lovesick bodyguard. Now your’e gonna die from a disease that actually kills you with love!}

{Just great, just fucking great! Round of applause to you! You fucking imbecile!}

And if that wasn’t bad enough,

He hears Hollyberry Cookie freaking out about it,

As they were walking through the halls.

And even then it’s making him feel tense,

As she was just talking about how they should get to the Raspberry House.

And have Raspberry Cookie be the one to cure the disease.

Which he doesn’t like hearing because again,

They are not compatible with each other.

So without any warnings whatsoever,

“Alright, that’s enough Queen Mother. You know very well that me and Raspberry Cookie are not into each other. I only like boys!” He yelled at her.

Causing the Ancient of Passion to stop walking,

And look at her adopted son with confusion.

“What did you just say?” She asked.

{Oh great job you idiot. You just came out of the closet to her.}

{I hope your’e fucking happy with yourself.}

Ignoring the berating from the voices in his head,

He reveals to his adoptive mother,

Who his crush really is…

As it’s obviously not Raspberry Cookie.

“I’m sorry, Queen Mother. But the truth is, me and Raspberry Cookie don’t have a thing for each other.”

“I’m actually into dudes. Like really into them.”

“And as for who I have a crush on.”

“Well, it’s Chip.” He said to her.

“You mean Crunchy Chip Cookie?” Hollyberry Cookie asked.

To which he nods his head,

And surprisedly enough,

Instead of her being mad at him for being in love with a boy,

Like how the voices in his head was adamant about.

She instead, gives her adopted son, a full blown hug.

Much to his surprise and confusion.

“Oh, you know how happy I am, nope that you have revealed the truth to me. I’m so proud of you my boy.” Hollyberry Cookie happily said to him.

Wait,

So does that mean,

She knew that he has a crush on the wolf captain after all?

“But then, why did you think I was in love with Raspberry Cookie?” He asked her.

“Oh, I just wanted to surprise you. That’s all. As I knew you two would have chemistry with each other all along.”

“Look it’s okay if your’e into boys. Because you have the most amazing and comforting family who’ll always be there to support you. No matter what.” His adoptive mother replied to him.

Which makes him feel better about it.

So he hugs her back.

“Thanks, mama.” He said to her happily.

“Anytime, my boy.” She said back to him happily.

And so after that mother and son hug,

Wildberry Cookie has a thought about how he is going to confess his love towards Crunchy Chip Cookie.

Because after all,

They both live in 2 different kingdom.

And he obviously can’t tell him through letters,

Because he doesn’t know how long he has until the flowers kill him through his lungs.

And it wouldn’t cure it because well,

It’s a letter.

They don’t do jackshit.

So thankfully,

Hollyberry Cookie tells him a very important announcement for how they are going to do that exactly.

“Well do you know that Royal dance that’s going to happen on Friday?” She asked him.

“Oh yeah, it’s to celebrate the 1 month anniversary of you defeating Eternal Sugar Cookie right? And your’e inviting everyone in the entire kingdom to come too.” Wildberry Cookie asked.

“Well I just gave 2 invitations to both him and his older sister. Meaning that they’re both coming to the dance!” Hollyberry Cookie happily said.

Wow!

This is amazing!

Crunchy Chip Cookie is actually coming to the dance?

While it was weird to hear that he has an older sister,

As he has never seen or heard about her before,

But still this is great.

As this means when the dance comes on at Friday night,

He’ll tell Chip how he really feels about him,

And boom, the Hanahaki Disease is no more.

“So when are they coming?” He asked her.

“Well from what I can guess, Tomorrow Morning.” The ancient of passion replied.

To which he gives her a hug.

To give her, his thanks again.

“Thanks again, mama. You shouldn't have.” Wildberry Cookie happily said to her.

“Well, it’s always a pleasure to make my family happy. Especially you. And boy, did I missed your smile for like a month now.” Hollyberry Cookie said back to him.

And so after that hug,

She leaves the waiting room.

With Wildberry Cookie waving goodbye to her.

Happy to know that she accepted him coming out of the closet,

And helped him with his predicament.

But as soon as she leaves,

Suddenly,

The bodyguard felt another gag inside of him.

Meaning that another flower has now entered his lungs.

So not wanting everyone in the kingdom to see it,

Feared that this disease might be contagious.

He runs into the men’s bathroom.

…

…

…

{Vomits}

{Coughs}

Oh boy, was it bad to vomit and cough off blood at the same time.

Especially since the main source of it,

Were snowdrop lilies.

And it took him about 30 seconds to clear his throat and lungs from them,

As when he’s done.

He looks at the sink,

And sees that the snowdrop lilies have doubled in size.

And there were now 5 of them,

Regards to there being 3 of them earlier.

Holy creators,

It seems like he won’t be surviving the week at all.

Or even worse,

Be dead by Friday.

With how big his crush for the little cookie is…

And worse of all,

The voices in his head was back to chastise him about both the flowers in his lungs,

And his crush.

{Oh you silly Bodyguard. Do you really think that Crunchy CHip Cookie would just accept your love for him that easily?}

{Especially since you were heavily damaged during your trip to Beast-Yeast?}

{I mean look at you. You nearly scared him to death when you got kidnapped by those white masked cookies.}

“Yeah, but I was able to show him. That I can still fight without my gauntlet.” Wildberry Cookie argued with the voices,

But it still wasn’t convinced.

As it appears to act like,

The voice of doubt inside of him.

{Even or even without your gauntlet. You still got damaged really badly.}

{Do you really think that he would love someone who is badly damaged as you?}

{Ebven after you showed him just how strong you are?}

{Maybe you should accept that Pavlova Cookie was right about your love diagnosis.}

{That you should just give up, because you know well that this thing between you and him will never work out.}

“No, your’e wrong. I know Crunchy Chip Cookie a lot more than you. Sure we might’ve thought and banter with each other in the past. But this lead to us becoming good friends.”

“And I want to make sure that even despite the love diagnosis. I will not give up on it.”

“Especially if you are trying to give me doubt.” He said to the voice of doubt.

“Okay. Your loss though, you stupid bodyguard.}

And so after that argument with the voices in his head,

He throws the blood stained snowdrop lilies into the bin,

And walks out of the bathroom…

Determined to bond more with Crunchy Chip Cookie,

During his visit in the Hollyberry Kingdom,

So he can finally tell him,

That he loves him…

Monday-

Now that he was out of the bedroom,

It was about time that he revisits the garden again,

That is inside of the castle’s backyard.

Where he resumes some of the things he does while inside of that place,

That being meditation.

This time, he was trying to meditate about how he’s going to ask his crush out,

And even proclaim his love for him.

But try as he might,

The nagging voice in his head would not go away.

As it keeps talking to him about how he is going to talk to Crunchy Chip Cookie.

With all of them being bad words to it.

{So do you really think you can just ask him out that easy?}

{Hah! You still haven’t told the other family members, save for Queen Mother and Tiger Lily Cookie, about the damaged cracks on your arm.}

“Shut up. I’m trying to think and relax.” Wildberry Cookie annoyedly said to it.

But that doesn’t make it more easier.

{Oh yeah? Then tell me how are you going to say to him, if the both of you meet each other since forever ago?}

{Let me guess? Is it gonna be something lame and force like…}

{Hi Crunchy Chip, will you be my boyfriend? Because I have a deadly thing known as the Hanahaki Disease.}

{Or please fall in love with me or I’ll die?}

{You don’t know jackshit about love. Don’t you, you fucking dumbass?}

That’s not true.

He was raised inside the literal kingdom of passion.

Heck, Hollyberry Cookie is known as the Ancient of Passion.

So he should learnt a lot more about love,

Then what this stupid voices in his head is telling him.

And so just like what happened yesterday.

He was forced to cough up a lot of flowers from his lungs all over again…

And it was more bad then yesterday,

As not only were there more blood and mucus coming out of his mouth,

But take a look at how many flowers that he hacked off now?

Plus a dozen of petals too!

Dang it,

Looks like these flowers inside of him,

Really are a ticking time bomb.

And despite the fact that his older self would’ve gotten the surgery if this disease got worse for him.

He is no longer the older Wildberry Cookie.

As he had gotten to know Crunchy Chip Cookie a lot more.

And became good friends with him back at the Creme Republic.

So there is no way on Earthbread is he going to get that surgery.

So after that cough-fest,

He heard talking coming from outside of the castle.

So he decides to investigate,

And check the main entrance of it.

When he secretly looks out through the door,

He sees Hollyberry Cookie,

Alongside both Princess Cookie and Tiger Lily Cookie,

All saying hello to both Crunchy Chip Cookie,

And his older sister.

Whose name is actually Arctic Cat Cookie.

Much to his surprise.

Because when he heard that his friend had an older sister.

He had a lot more different outlook on her.

{Wow. So that’s what she looks like? I thought she would have the same dough colour as Chip and-}

{Wait. Why am I judging a cookie by their dough colour. That’s never a good sign. So just shut up about it.}

All the while he could hear and even see them talking about something.

But what?

“So you must be Crunchy Chip Cookie’s older sister right?” Hollyberry Cookie asked.

“Yep. It’s a pleasure to meet you all. Plus I’m a doctor.” Arctic Cat Cookie replied.

“Yeah, and a good one at best.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said happily.

“By the way. Where’s Dark Cacao Cookie? Wasn’t he supposed to come with you guys too?” Princess Cookie asked.

“Oh I’m sorry sweetie but I already gave enough tickets to these two.” Hollyberry Cookie apologised to one of her granddaughters.

“It’s fine Hollyberry Cookie. He didn’t want to go because he had some important therapy time with Choco-Rose Cookie to go to.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to the Ancient of Passion.

“Oh really? What kind of therapies?” Hollyberry Cookie asked.

“Well.” Arctic Cat Cookie said.

And although he can hear everyone talking.

His mind has a different outlook of what they’re actually talking about.

And a very bad one at worst.

{I wonder what they’re talking about?}

{Probably you and what a worthless bodyguard you have become now?}

{Why don’t you do them a favour and give yourself alcohol poisoning by drinking too much berry juice.}

{No don’t be that stupid. You don’t even like drinking that stuff to begin with. Only stupid idiots drink Berry Juice unresponsively}

{Ugh, why are you thinking that stuff, when you know that Hollyberry Cookie is working her damn well to drink anything else other then Berry Juice.}

And as he continues to look at the conversation.

He thinks that it’s about time that he heads out of the door,

And reintroduce himself to the cookie he loves so much,

That no matter what the Earthbread tries to tell him,

He’s not giving up with.

{Alright you idiot. Head out the door and greet the wolf captain.}

{so walk, now.}

He doesn’t move.

{Walk, now.}

Again, he doesn’t move.

{Walk, now.}

His legs were just frozen,

In the main entrance.

{Come on you coward, get those legs moving right now!}

{Now!}

And so,

He was able to get his legs moving,

And heads out of the castle,

To greet the visitors.

As he was heading out through the door,

Suddenly he gets spotted by his adoptive mother.

Who is very happy to see him.

“Oh Wildberry Cookie. I didn’t noticed that you were just walking out of the castle. How about you introduce yourself to our new friend? Wouldn’t that sound great?” Hollyberry Cookie said to him.

As she pulls him in,

So he can greet Arctic Cat Cookie.

And despite the awkwardness at first,

The two of them started to get along.

As after all,

She is the Wolf Captain’s older sister.

“Oh hello there. What’s your name?” The bodyguard asked.

“Greetings, friend of my baby brother. I am Arctic Cat Cookie. What’s yours?” Arctic Cat Cookie asked.

“My name is Wildberry Cookie. And not to be rude or anything, but what’s with you calling Crunchy Chip Cookie, baby brother?” WIldberry Cookie asked.

“Oh, it’s just a cute little nickname I give him. As no matter how old he gets, he will always be my baby brother.” The doctor replied to him.

But before he could ask where the wolf captain is,

As he sees that he’s now not with her,

Suddenly,

They all hear the sound of barking and roaring coming from both the Butter Tiger and the Cream Wolf.

Yeah turns out that both Crunchy Chip Cookie and Tiger Lily Cookie,

We’re having a kerfuffle about their animal companions.

And oh boy, was it bad to watch.

…

…

“How dare you have that annoying, feline monster, in the Hollyberry Kingdom? You should be ashamed of yourself!” Crunchy CHip Cookie yelled angrily at her.

“Well…at…least…I’m…not…the…cookie…with…a…dirty…and…slobbery…puppy.” Tiger Lily Cookie said angrily to him.

Which really ticked him off,

As he doesn’t like it when cookies calls his Cream Wolf, a puppy.

“Puppy!? Don’t you dare call him that! He is a cream wolf! The most majestic and powerful creature in all of Crispia! Unlike your Butter Tiger and its laziness!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said angrily to her.

“Stop…yelling. Your’e…gonna…wake…up…Mai.” Tiger Lily Cookie tells him to quiet down.

“Oh, I sure hope that this Mai, won’t mind if I fucking attack you and your feline companion, with my claw and fist!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said sarcastically.

But fortunately though,

Before anything brutal can happen to the two of them,

It seems like Arctic Cat Cookie has an idea,

To stop the two from fighting each other like cats and dogs.

So she gets in between the two of them,

And gives them an idea on how to resolve this conflict.

“Woah, woah, woah. Hold your horses. We shouldn’t fight like rabid animals, all because of if either a Butter Tiger or a Cream Wolf is a better companion. We should have a race to determine it.” Arctic Cat Cookie said.

Much to Wildberry Cookie’s confusion.

{Wait? What does she mean by a race?}

{Is she stupid?}

{Those things are too feral to be racing with each other.}

“Uh, what do you mean by a race?” He asked her.

“Well you see, Wildberry Cookie. Anytime my baby brother and one of his friends have a dispute of something. Whether that be who gets the last Okonomiyaki or who gets to deliver a letter to the king first. I have them race for it. With Cream Wolves as their mode of racing. And almost all of the time, Chip wins. So I thought this race would be great to see which animal companion is better.” Arctic Cat Cookie replied happily.

“Well I guess it would be nice to have them race inside the Hollyberry Kingdoms. So let’s do this.” Hollyberry Cookie said happily.

{Oh shit. Having both a Butter Tiger and a Cream Wolf race each other. Is like a recipe for disaster that’s waiting to happen.}

{As can you imagine all of the cookies they might end up hurting?}

{I mean sure while the Butter Tiger wouldn’t hurt anyone. As both the brother and his mate are trained by Tiger Lily Cookie.}

{Cream Wolves on the one hand, are as aggressive and feisty as Chip himself.}

{I couldn’t imagine-}

Suddenly his thoughts of doubt was ended,

When he sees that Crunchy Chip Cookie was already on his Cream Wolf,

And surprisedly enough,

Wants him to ride the wolf with him too.

“So, what do you say bubby? Wanna see what it feels like to ride a Cream Wolf?” The wolf captain asked.

So with no thoughts,

Do to how he just loves the man so much.

The bodyguard sits on the wolf,

Surprised at the fact that it didn’t get squished due to how heavy his body really is.

But at least the 2 friends were able to reintroduce themselves to each other,

Since forever ago…

{Alright this is your chance to talk to him.}

{Don’t say anything stupid or weird.}

“It’s nice to meet you again, Crunchy Chip.” The bodyguard said happily.

To which the wolf captain lovingly smiles back at him.

“It’s nice to meet you again, too.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said back at him happily.

But not before the two of them do a handshake.

{Alright good. You got a handshake from him.}

{Now I think it’s time that you tell him how you truly feel about him.}

{What? No, we still need more time bonding.}

{More time? You two have already enough time bonding back at the Creme Republic.}

{Yeah, but this is his first time visiting the Hollyberry Kingdoms. And I want to make sure that every second counts for us.}

And so after they were done with that handshake,

The race can finally begin.

“3, 2, 1. Go!” Arctic Cat Cookie shouted happily.

And they’re off!

Boy was he not expecting the animals to be this fast,

But they sure are.

And while he was worried about if the race might hurt the citizens there.

Don’t worry,

As either Crunchy Chip Cookie or Tiger Lily Cookie would be the ones to have the citizens get off the path of the race,

If they don’t want to get hurt.

Which was good.

And also by the way,

Is this what riding a wolf feels like?

Because it feels like riding a carriage with Hollyberry Cookie that’s on its way to the Berry Juice Store.

But despite how fast these two animals are,

He already knows who’s going to win.

And that is Crunchy Chip Cookie.

He trained his Cream Wolf to be the fastest,

And even has the heart and soul of a wolf inside of him.

So this should be an easy win for him,

Right?

Well just when they were about to cross the finish line,

Which was at the end of the markets.

“Your’e doing great Chip. Your’e actually going to win this race.” The bodyguard said happily to him.

Suddenly…

Things get a bit weird and confusing…

As Crunchy Chip Cookie’s expression changed from determination,

It that of fear.

As he sees something in front of him,

While Wildberry Cookie couldn’t.

And then just when the bodyguard was about to ask his crush what’s wrong.

This happens…

“No! Stay away from me! I won’t let you turn me into flour again!” The wolf captain yelled in fear.

Before suddenly,

Having his wolf turn away from the finish line.

Much to the bodyguard’s confusion.

“What the? We just missed the finish line. Why would you do that?” Wildberry Cookie asked in confusion.

But still,

The wolf captain was still frightened by what he apparently saw.

“No. No. She’s gonna get me. She’s gonna get me again. Just like last time. I won’t let her get me!” Crunchy Chip Cookie still yelled in fear.

Before eventually,

Both they and the Cream Wolf,

Accidentally run into a hundred barrels filled with berry juice.

And crash into it.

Much to the shocks of the 2 kids who were handling it,

That being both Floraberry Cookie and Karateberry Cookie.

…

…

…

After that collision,

Both the bodyguard and the wolf captain,

Alongside the Cream Wolf,

We’re all covered in Berry Juice.

With Wildberry Cookie not being too happy about Crunchy Chip Cookie freaking out at the last second,

Just when they were about to reach the finish lines.

“What the heck was that?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

“Some sort of destroyed barrels I think?” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked,

As thankfully his moment was fear was gone.

But not did Wildberry Cookie’s anger towards him.

“I mean you. Why the fuck would you let us not only miss the finish line, but also have us crash into a bunch of barrels?” The bodyguard asked angrily.

With the wolf captain starting to feel really sorry for that freak out,

And for losing the race.

“I’m so sorry Bubby. I thought I saw her again, and I panicked. I just didn't want her to turn me into flour again, especially you.” Crunchy Chip Cookie apologised to him.

But before he could angrily tell him off.

“Well sorry doesn’t cut it! And also who’s her? What gives you the bright idea to-“

The voice inside the bodyguard’s head stops him.

{Hey! Don’t yell at him like that. Sure it was his fault, but maybe there was something inside of him that caused him to lose the race.}

{Plus if you did yelled at him, you’d frightened him.}

{so badly in fact, that he never wants to see you nor the Hollyberry Kingdom ever again?}

{Is that what you want? Your crush to just outright be terrified of you because you yelled at him?}

{So that without him, you could just die?}

{So don’t be a monster, okay?}

So he forgets about what he was about to say to the wolf captain,

And accepts his apology.

“Actually forget what I was going to say to you. It’s alright. Even though I don’t know what do you mean by seeing her? I know that it’s not your fault for losing the race. As we do feel fear sometimes.” Wildberry Cookie gently said to his crush.

“I just don’t know what’s happening to me? Everywhere I go, whether that be in the snow or anywhere else. I keep seeing her, and that evil little smile that she has.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said to the bodyguard sadly.

“Do you want to talk to me about it?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

But the wolf captain just refused,

As he doesn’t feel like talking about it all that much.

But that was okay,

As at least Wildberry Cookie still forgave him.

And so after that apology,

It took the wolf captain long enough to see that they’re both covered in some sweet but sour smelling liquid.

“Ugh, what is that smell? And why is this red liquid all over me and my Cream Wolf?” The wolf captain asked annoyedly.

“That’s just Berry Juice. One of the most popular things here in the Hollyberry Kingdom. And you already know how much I don’t like that stuff all that much.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

“Okay. But how are we going to get these things off us? I can’t let my sister see me in it. She’ll think that I had drank that stuff and got you know, what happened to his majesty back at the Vanilla Kingdom.” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked.

{Yeah you heard him. You saw how Dark Cacao Cookie acted when he was under the influence of the Berry Juice.}

{Heck, he even tried fight a tree for fuck sakes.}

{And you know how much you hate that stuff, when you saw the other cookies after drinking it. Just like Queen Mother.}

{But wait. Wasn’t there something inside of the castle that might help?}

{Yes, now that would actually work.}

“Don’t worry, I know a place inside the castle. Where we can wash it all off.” Wildberry Cookie replied to him.

“Really you mean it?” The wolf captain asked.

To which the bodyguard nodded his head meaning yes.

“Well what are we waiting for? Come on, let’s go!” The wolf captain said happily.

And so as the two of them walked back to the castle,

Wildberry Cookie apologised to the 2 kids that was handling the barrels.

And he was relieved to hear that they were actually taking them to some of the restaurants,

Instead of drinking them all by themselves.

As yeah,

Kids shouldn’t be drinking,

Especially if their 10 years old…

Including being able to sneak back in without anyone seeing them,

Especially since they were already praising the heck out of Tiger Lily Cookie winning the race.

They finally reach at the location,

Where they’ll get the Berry Juice scent and liquid off them.

“Alright Crunchy Chip. Here we are. I hope you have a strong stomach.” Wildberry Cookie said to his crush.

Before eventually, opening the door,

To which it reveals…

An outside pool of the castle.

Crunchy Chip Cookie was fascinated at how beautiful this place was,

And so was the titular pool.

As not only was the tiles a mix of pink, both dark and light,

But it also had a bunch of angels in them,

Representing as fountains for the pool.

The bodyguard could already see how fascinated and happy the wolf captain was seeing this entire room.

So he decides to talk to him about it.

“Yep, this pool has been one of the many jewels of this castle since I was adopted by Hollyberry Cookie herself.” Wildberry Cookie happily said.

“It’s so amazing and cool. Just like how a Royal family would enjoy their summer fun.” The wolf captain said happily.

“Yeah, and the best part is. You can actually watch the whole thing through the balcony on that floor right next to the pool room. But I don’t reccomend that you jump off from it. It would actually hurt a lot, and possibly kill you too.” Wildberry Cookie said to his crush.

Before eventually,

Both Crunchy Chip Cookie and his Cream Wolf,

Joyfully run into the pool,

And jump into it.

“Canonball!” Shouted the wolf captain.

And so just like that,

{Splash!}

Boy was that splash powerful,

So powerful in fact,

That it caused Wildberry Cookie to get wet by it.

But he’s not annoyed by it, thank witches,

As he was happy to both his crush and his pet wolf have some fun in the sun,

Especially in the water.

And it didn’t take long before eventually,

The wolf captain also asks him to join the both of them on the fun.

“Come on in Wildberry Cookie! The water’s fine! As it’s not too hot but not too cold too. It’s just right for the both of us.” Crunchy Chip Cookie happily yelled at him.

“Alright, alright. Let me show you what a real canonball looks like.” The bodyguard said happily.

He was a good swimmer at best,

So surely he would be able to have fun with his crush after that canonball right?

Right?

Well…

“Canonball!”

{Splash!}

…

Yeah turns out that wearing a suit of iron armour,

While swimming in a pool,

Is a very bad idea.

As yeah while wearing that suit of armour prevents his scars from being revealed,

Including having pink bandages wrapped around his arm.

It was still a stupid idea for him to basically jump into a pool,

Without taking it off.

And now because of that,

He’s gonna die.

…

…

…

No matter how hard he tries,

He just can’t seem to swim back to the surface.

All thanks to his armour being really heavy on him,

And causing him to sink even faster.

And worst part of all of this,

Was the fact that he didn’t get the chance to hold his breath,

After his own canonball.

So after a minute of just trying to swim back to the surface of the pool,

That was when he loses all of the air in his lungs,

And begins to inhale water.

{Great job idiot! Now your’e gonna drown.}

{Alone, with no one to save you. As Crunchy Chip Cookie doesn’t know that your’e actually going to die.}

{Plus I don’t even know what’s worse. Being dead by having water come into your lungs? Or suffocating to death by the flowers sprouting in your lungs?}

{Pick your poison. Because I knew you were already going to die after that expedition.}

{And for a good thing too.}

Fortunately though,

Despite hid mind just telling him to give up already,

And embrace the warm feeling of death.

Just as Wildberry Cookie was about to black out.

He gets saved by both Crunchy Chip Cookie and his wolf companion,

After they both knew that he wasn’t gonna come back up after that canonball.

And that something was very wrong.

If that doesn’t prove that this is an act of true friendship/love,

I don’t know what is.

{Splash}

“Breathe. Breathe Wildberry Cookie. Oh my witches, you nearly scared me to death, especially when I saw you almost losing conscious.” The wolf captain said worriedly to his friend.

And there he was,

Hacking up some of the waters he accidentally got in his lungs,

While being held up by his crush,

As they make their way back to the concrete floor of the poolroom.

And boy does coughing up water feels less painful,

Then coughing up flowers from your lungs.

So there’s that.

He’d never expected Crunchy Chip Cookie would save him again,

Especially since he was trying to bond with him for funsies.

But all good things must come to a stop.

And so eventually the both of them were able to get out of the pool,

And just sit on the ground.

Just as Wildberry Cookie, thankfully stopped coughing up water,

And was now breathing normally again.

Much to the relief of the wolf captain,

As yeah it was scary to almost lose someone from drowning,

Let alone a friend.

And so after a few minutes of pure silence between the two.

Both the bodyguard and the wolf captain begin to talk to each other.

Especially about what just happened back underneath the pool’s surface.

“Thank you, for saving me back there, Chip.” Wildberry Cookie said to his crush.

“No problems. Honestly that actually scared me. Like I thought you were going to die for real. Especially since it almost looked like you were about to give up.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said back to him worriedly.

“I know.” The bodyguard said,

Feeling guilty about nearly drowning to death infront of his crush.

“Here how about next time, when we get onto the pool. You take off that suit of armour of yours. As I doubt that wearing it would make you float. Here let me-“ Crunchy Chip Cookie said,

And as he tries to grab a part of his armour.

Wildberry Cookie turns away in fear.

As he doesn’t want his crush to see,

The damage that was caused on his arm,

Especially since it was caused by one of the Beast of Sloth’s plans,

To make his adoptive mother, hers and hers alone.

 

“No! No. It’s- It’s fine. I already know it would be a stupid thing to do. But I still did it anyways. So I’m sorry.” Wildberry Cookie said worriedly to his crush.

Which he understands,

But was also confused about why he feels so protective over his suit of armour.

“Bub? Are you alright? Your’e acting a bit weird.” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked in confusion.

{Oh shit, he’s starting to catch onto the damage on your arm. What do I do now?}

{Easy, just how him the scars. I’m sure he’ll understand.}

{No you fucking idiot, he won’t. You know how much he hates liars and traitors.}

{So just keep your mouth shut about the scars. And move onto a different stuff you two could talk about.}

“Nothing, nothing at all. Oh and by the way, now that your’e in the Hollyberry Kingdom, I thought it would be best if we could go and find some sweets to eat.” Wildberry Cookie replied to him nervously.

And fortunately it worked,

As the wolf captain was intrigued about that idea,

And completely forgotten about what was going on before,

Because nobody loves sweet more than Crunchy Chip Cookie himself.

“Really? That sounds awesome? Well what kind of sweets does this kingdom have?” The wolf captain asked happily.

And so Wildberry Cookie explains o his crush about all sorts of sweets there,

As another way for the two of them to bond even more then before.

Causing them to forget about all of their worries and confusion,

Especially the near death of Wildberry Cookie himself.

Which was very nice to see and hear.

A few hours later,

It was now the afternoon.

As soon,

Both Hollyberry Cookie and Arctic Cat Cookie both enter the pool room,

To see both the bodyguard and the wolf captain having a chat with each other about the adventures of their respective ancients.

Which was always cute to see.

But soon all stories must come to a close,

As Arctic Cat Cookie was able to call her little brother over.

“Oh baby brother. Time for us to go. Hollyberry Cookie had showed me where we’ll be staying for the week.” She said to her younger brother.

And so, the wolf captain runs over to his sister.

While still expressing some dissapointment about losing the race,

All because of his fear about “her”

“Hey sis. {And then he hugs his older sister, something that he has been doing since he was little, as a sign of comfort} I’m sorry for losing the race. I just got so paranoid about her showing up, you know? I guess that means those Butter Tigers are the best animal companions.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said sadly to his older sister.

And while she knows exactly who he’s talking about,

Wildberry Cookie doesn’t.

But fortunately,

She was a very loving and supportive sister to her little brother.

As she tells him otherwise.

“Don’t worry baby brother, she’s not gonna get you or any of the cookies who love you. Your’e perfectly safe. Plus I always knew that Cream Wolves would be the better animal companion. Even if you did win or lose.” Arctic Cat Cookie said happily to her little brother.

Which cheered up the wolf captain a little bit.

“You really mean it?” He asked her.

“Yeah, I do.” Arctic Cat Cookie replied.

Resulting in both the brother and sister,

Giving each other a hug.

Which was always sweet to see.

Wildberry?

Are you alright?

Damn it,

Why of all now does his arm have to start hurting again?

Yeah turns out that after getting those scars,

They started to hurt so badly.

Heck not even Eternal Sugar Cookie’s healing powers would cause it to hurt less.

So he was able to be prescribed with Painkillers.

So that the pain can be stopped.

Only problem,

He’s all out of them.

 

So he decides to go out and get someone to give him more.

Another problem,

He can’t let anyone know about the damaged arm,

Not even Crunchy Chip Cookie.

So he thinks to himself.

{So who should I do to get some more painkillers for my arm?}

{The king and queen? No they would completely freak out at me. And probably replace me too if they find out.}

{Those 2 shop owners from the toy store? Uh no, I don’t wanna freak them out again. Especially after they saw me vomit blood.}

{Arctic Cat Cookie? Yes, she mentioned that she was a doctor. So she’s gotta have some painkillers.}

{Oh Wildberry Cookie, you made a good choice.}

So he walks towards the doctor.

And asks her to come with him to his bedroom.

Which she agrees,

Because all friends of her brother’s,

Are her friends too.

And so they both head there together,

While Hollyberry Cookie takes Crunchy Chip Cookie to the guest room,

Where he and his older sister will be staying for the week.

When they got into his room,

Wildberry Cookie tells Arctic Cat Cookie that he has a crush on her younger brother.

Which makes her happy to hear,

As she always wanted Chip to have someone to be his special partner.

And even accepted him being into dudes, just like Wildberry Cookie.

But the bodyguard did made her promised not to reveal the confession,

As he wants to confess his love towards the wolf captain at the dance Friday night.

And so after that,

He eventually asks her for a prescription for more painkillers.

“So you want me to get you some painkillers?” Arctic Cat Cookie asked.

“Yeah, that’s exactly right.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

“Well, I do have some in my bag already. But why would you need them? Don’t tell me that you have an addiction to those things or something.” Arctic Cat Cookie speculate him.

And so it was about time,

He tells her about the damages in his arm.

“No, no, it’s not that, it’s just. {Sigh} Alright, don’t freak out about what your’e going to see. And if you do, don’t tell Crunchy Chip Cookie about it. I don’t want him to see it and think that I’m weak.” Wildberry Cookie replied to her.

And so as he unwraps the bandages that was on his arm,

The doctor becomes shocked at how badly damaged his arm is.

“Oh my goodness! How did that happened to you?” She asked worriedly.

“I got it during my time at Beast-Yeast. But it’ll probably heal back right?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

But with that question,

Causes Arctic Cat Cookie to look at him very hesitantly.

“Well…” She tried to say.

“Your’e a doctor right? So please tell me, will this scar fully heal? Because I don’t want to live for the rest of my life with this scar so massive.” Wildberry Cookie asked worriedly.

As he looks at the scar.

And even though it’s pretty sure that she doesn’t want to.

Considering that she’s a doctor an all,

She tells him the bad news about his scars.

“I’m sorry Wildberry Cookie. But it looks too damaged to be healed.” She replied to him sadly.

Much to his confusion.

“What do you mean? It’s like any other wound right? It’ll just probably heal itself right?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

Considering that he has never had a scar before in his life,

Until now…

But Arctic Cat Cookie wasn’t kidding when she said,

That scar of his will never heal.

“I’m sorry, but it’s true. That scars of yours will never heal.”

“I said this to Dark Cacao Cookie after I saved his life after the stabbing incident. And I’ll say it again to you.”

“I’m afraid that scars don’t heal like many other wounds and injuries.”

“It just stays with you. And while sure it does heal. But never fully, so that your body can be completely cleaned off from them.”

“So I’m sorry Wildberry Cookie. You’ll just have to live with them for the rest of your life.”

“And thanks for coming to me about hurting and damaged arm.”

“So here, here’s your reprinted painkillers.”

“I gotta go now.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to the bodyguard,

As she gives him a new bottle of painkillers.

And as she leaves his room,

Maybe to reunite with her baby brother.

He was just left sitting there on his bed,

Looking at both the painkillers,

And his damaged arms.

With what she said to him,

Yeah turns out that the second day of the visit,

Doesn’t take place at the Hollyberry Kingdoms.

As in order to get Crunchy Chip Cookie ready for the Big Dance this Friday Night,

They’re going back to the Creme Republic.

After one Hot Air Balloon ride,

Both Crunchy Chip Cookie and Wildberry Cookie are now at the Creme Republic.

And despite being rebuilt after the attack by Dark Enchantress Cookie and her goons,

The republic still feels the same.

And so after a bit of a look around,

The two friends walk off to their destination.

“So, do you think this is where we’ll find this fashion designer? Who might be able to make me a new suit in time for the dance?” The wolf captain asked.

“Well if Queen Mother recommended her to us. Then yeah. Plus despite being 23 years old, she has made a lot of really beautiful and cute dresses.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

“Woah Twenty-Three. That’s my age. How intestering is that.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said upon realisation.

But then during their walk,

Wildberry Cookie notices a sign in one of the shops,

That says “You Break It, We Replace It”.

And unfortunately,

He started to think about it,

And what it could mean to him.

{What does that sign say? You break it, we replace it?}

{Sounds like a type of workshop that doesn’t bother to fix your broken things and instead-}

{Oh my witches, is that what’ll happen if the queen and king finds out?}

{They’ll freak out about my damaged parts? And then replace me with someone stronger than me?}

{While also saying. Forget it Wildberry Cookie, your’e replaced!}

{Will it happen to me?}

{Will it actually happen to me because of my scars who refuse to be healed?}

{Shit! Your’e overthinking about it, you paranoid bodyguard.}

{But still you gotta hide that scar from anyone. Especially Chip.}

Fortunately though,

His train of thoughts were stopped,

When both he and his crush finally makes it to their destination.

“Hey Wildberry Cookie, we’re here. So do you think this is the right place? It looks a bit girly?” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked.

“Well if Queen Mother said this is the right place. Yeah, it is the right place.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

And so the 2 friends enters the store together,

To find a suit for the Wolf Captain.

Wow, was there a lot of pink inside the fashion store.

Yeah they weren’t expected to get blinded by how much pink colours there were.

On the ceilings, floors, walls, you name it.

Plus they were too distracted with how pink this shop was,

That they didn’t notice someone seeing the two by the entrance,

And decided to greet them herself.

That someone,

Actually being its owner.

“Hello there, new customer!” Said the owner of this shop happily.

Which spooked the both of them.

But thankfully they were able to see who it was.

“Oh, hello there. Didn’t notice you there.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said.

And as they get a closer look to the owner of this shop,

They see that not only does she have light pink hair {With her hairstyle looking exactly like Sailor Moon’s}

But she also has a pink shirt, which is topped off by a white wooly jacket,

And a pink skirt.

“I’m Strawberry Milk Cookie. Owner and main fashion designer of Strawberry Milk’s Fashion Emporium. Mind if I ask you some questions?” The owner asked. {With her voice sounding a lot like Amelia from Power Rangers Dino Fury}

“The only questions that you’ll be asking to, is me. Because I’m the only one who needs new clothes.” Crunchy Chip COokie replied.

“Okay, prepare to answer them honestly.” Strawberry Milk Cookie said happily.

And so,

The {Sort-of} Interview begins…

“So what’s your name?” The owner asks.

“Name’s Crunchy Chip Cookie. The official captain of the Cream Wolves. Which you can see is right beside me.” The wolf captain replied.

“Okay, and where do you live?” The shop owner asked.

“The Dark Cacao Kingdom.” Crunchy Chip Cookie replied.

“Oh, I heard a lot about that place and even researched about it too. Especially its ruler. Anyways, how old are you?” Strawberry Milk Cookie asks.

“I’m 23 years old.” The wolf captain replies.

“Oh my witches, me too. And what brings you here today?” Strawberry Milk Cookie asks.

“To get a new suit for some kind of royal dance. Since none of the actual suits back at the Hollyberry Kingdom suits me.” Crunchy Chip Cookie replies.

“Yeah, his older sister is the only one who is able to fit in one of the costumes from my kingdom. And hers is basically a hand-me-down from the queen. As it was her wedding dress.” Wildberry Cookie also replies to the shop owner.

“Great, I’ve got everything you need. Okay, just follow me. And I’ll have you in your new suit in no time.” Strawberry Milk Cookie happily said to the wolf captain.

And so as Crunchy Chip Cookie follows her to where she makes all of her clothes.

Wildberry Cookie decides to wait for the process to be done,

Inside the store’s waiting room.

{This is absurd. I mean a waiting room inside of a fashion store?}

{Those things are only for police stations, hospitals and even daycare.}

{Not- Wait a minute.}

{Where’s that noise coming from?}

{I’m starting to lose my train of thought because of it}

When he was done thinking thanks to that noise,

Wildberry Cookie sees that it was actually coming from a young cookie,

Playing on his video game machine {Which looks awfully a lot like the Nintendo Switch}

So in order to speed up the process,

And wanting to know why this young cookie is here,

The bodyguard has a chat with him.

“Hello. I know that I’m not meant to talk to strangers, until I needed to. But what’s a little kid like you, doing inside a fashion store?” Wildberry Cookie asks.

“I’m 15 years old. And what I’m doing here? Well, let’s just say, I always go there after school, to see how my sister’s doing.” The young cookie replied. {With his voice sounding a lot like MK from Lego Monkie Kid.}

Much to the surprise of the bodyguard.

“Wait. That shopowener’s tyour sister?” He asked.

“Yeah, cant you see the pink hair. Although mine is a bit paler than hers. We’re still siblings.” The young cookie replies.

As yeah,

Not only does he have pale pink hair.

But he’s also wearing a pink jacket,

Which matches with his T-Shirt that features a logo of a pop-star known as Shining Glitter Cookie.

“So what’s your name then? If your sister’s name is Strawberry Milk Cookie?” Wildberry Cookie asks.

“It’s Peach Gummy Cookie. And boy can I talk about my sister for days and how amazing she is.” The young cookie replied.

And so the bodyguard listens to the younger cookie.

As he tells him everything about his sister,

Such as how they used to live in a country known as China Plates,

And how she used to worked as Mont Blanc Cookie’s apprentice,

Before eventually starting a clothes store of her own.

A few minutes later,

The shop owner heads into the waiting room.

To tell the bodyguard the good news.

“Alright, big guy. Ready to see what your friend looks like? If he really is your friend.” Strawberry Milk Cookie asked him.

“Uh, yeah. I am.” Wildberry Cookie replied.

“Great! Now follow me. You too, little bro.” The shop owner happily said.

And so both the bodyguard and her little brother,

Follows the shop owner to where Crunchy Chip Cookie is now.

That being the room of the shop,

Where she makes all of her clothes from.

“Alright everyone. Feast your eyes on the new and improve Crunchy Chip Cookie!” Strawberry Milk Cookie said.

As she happily removes the curtains,

Where they were able to see what the wolf captain looks like in his new suit.

And let me tell you,

She nailed it.

As when Wildberry Cookie sees his crush,

He was flabbergasted and surprised by how beautiful he looks wearing it.

While also getting a good look at the suit itself.

As not only was it white and black, just like his usual colours.

But it also has a fur textures on the shoulder parts,

Dots on the suit, which represents the flakes on him,’

And also just how accurate the suit was to the cookies from the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

“So Bub. How do I look?” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked his friend.

But the bodyguard was too distracted by looking at how beautiful he was in that suit,

That his mind started to have some interesting thoughts.

{Oh my witches, he’s so beautiful wearing that suit.}

{I wanna fuck him in that suit. I wanna kiss him dry in that suit.}

{I wanna make love with him in that suit at the party}

{He is so darn beautiful I wanna-}

“Hey, he asks you a question, big guy.” Peach Gummy Cookie said to the bodyguard.

Which stopped him from having more explicit thoughts in his mind.

“Oh sorry, you look really beautiful, chip. Like a true gentleman.” Wildberry Cookie happily replied to his crush.

But then,

Just before the two of them can leave the shop,

Fully satisfied with the suit.

Strawberry Milk Cookie has a chat with the wolf captain,

About something on him,

Primarily his gloves.

“You know, now that I think about it. I think you would look more beautiful, without that gloves of yours.” Strawberry Milk Cookie said to him.

Much to the confusion and yet uneasiness of Crunchy Chip Cookie.

“My gloves? What do you mean by that?” He asks her.

“Well I’ve noticed that when you were putting the suit on. You still have your gloves on. Mind if I take it off?” Strawberry Milk Cookie asks.

But for some reason,

He doesn’t want her to,

As he just tries to hide the gloves.

As he feels uncomfortable without them.

“Oh come on. I won’t hurt you or anything. I just want to see what your hands looks like underneath the gloves.” The shop owner said to him.

Before eventually,

She removes the gloves from his hands,

And sees something,

Unusual…

“Wait a minute. What the heck are those?” She asked,

As her usual happy smile is replaced with worries and confusion on her face.

As from what she could see,

Turns out that on both of Crunchy Chip Cookie’s hands,

Was a massive white blot of paint,

Which almost covers his entire hand.

But their not paints at all,

They look like to be,

Scars…

And turns out,

That scar stretches out to his entire arm,

As the shop owner pulls over the sleeves of the suit,

And sees it for herself,

Horrified by what she is seeing right now.

With her brother even seeing it as well.

“What the? Sis, did you noticed he had those white coloured scars before? Because that doesn’t look like paint to me.” Peach Gummy Cookie asked.

“I don’t know. I didn’t noticed it, because he went over to the changing room to put on the suit.” Strawberry Milk Cookie.

And as the siblings were discussing about this,

Wildberry Cookie was shocked to learn that,

His crush also has scars just like him.

But how?

How did he get a scar much more bigger and more deadlier then his?

Especially with how uncomfortable the wolf captain was feeling right now,

Because of it.

But then,

Just as he was about to ask his crush about it.

Crunchy Chip Cookie sees something,

And freaks out again…

This time,

In front of the siblings.

“Aaaah! It’s her again! She’s gonna turn us all into flour!” The wolf captain fearfully yelled.

Much to the confusion of the sibling.

“Where? I don’t see anyone apart from you, my little brother, and your big friend.” Strawberry Milk Cookie said.

Before eventually,

The wolf captain couldn’t take it anymore,

And just run out of the shop in fears.

“Get away from me!” He shouted.

Much to the worries of the bodyguard.

As he tries to follow him too.

“Crunchy Chip Cookie, wait! Come back!” He shouted.

Until suddenly,

He was stopped by the dreaded gagging in his throat.

Much to the sibling’s concern for him.

As they see him collapse onto the floor,

Looking like he’s gonna vomit,

With how much gagging and light coughing he’s doing right now.

“Big guy? Are you alright? Do you need the doctors or something?” Strawberry Milk Cookie asks worriedly.

And then,

Just as they least expected it.

{Vomits}

{Coughs}

Yep, he’s coughing up flowers again,

He’s coughing up flowers, and this is gross.

Especially to both Strawberry Milk Cookie and Peach Gummy Cookie.

I mean sure, they have seen people vomit inside the store befor,e

But never full on flowers.

Especially Snowdrop Lilies.

Which Wildberry Cookie now sees that one of them,

Has a stem.

Shit, this disease is getting a lot more worse than he imagined it too.

And worse of all,

He just did it infront of two random cookies,

Instead of some of the people from his kingdom.

So after that gross moment was done,

He picks up the snowdrop lilies he vomited,

Places them in his bag,

And apologises to the siblings.

“I’m sorry you two had to see that. I feel shameful now.” He said to them.

Before eventually,

He runs out of the shop,

To go and find where Crunchy Chip Cookie might be,

Inside of this huge kingdom.

As the bodyguard couldn’t find him anywhere in the Creme Republic.

Only stopping his search,

When he comes across a Bar.

Which he hesitantly thinks about.

{Okay, one drink. And then, find Chip.}

Fortunately though,

It seems like the voices in his head changes his mind,

Right as he was about to open the door.

{No, what am I doing? I’m just making Chip more angry at me.}

{Plus you already promised yourself that you would never drink again. Especially Berry Juice.}

{I mean, who could blame me? As there are a lot of cookies who might be angry at me now because of what’s been happening to me.}

{I mean look at Hollyberry Cookie, and Tiger Lily Cookie and the shop owner and her brother back at the fashion store.}

{It’s all because you made them worry about you, you selfish bodyguard.}

So he leaves the bar behind,

And continue his search for the wolf captain.

As he continues his search,

He begins to think about the siblings too.

But this time, in a negative light.

{Wait why am I worried that the two of them might be angry at me?}

{It’s there fault that Chip has gone running away.}

{Maybe, the reason why they wanted to see the scars on him. It’s so that they can see his weakness.}

{Of course it all makes snese now, those two might be those White Masked Cookies in disguise.}

{What? What are fuck are you talking about? They would never be like that?}

{I mean sure the way that the shop owner was friendly is odd enough.}

{But they’re not evil, unlike those white masked cookies from 2 years ago.}

{Now that’s absurd, you dumb bodyguard.}

{Don’t you dare accuse anyone like that ever again.}

Fortunately though,

He was able to find what he needs.

As he hears crying coming from one of the wooden boxes in an alleyway.

A crying that sounds too familiar and strange, even for him.

Before eventually,

He realises who’s crying.

“Chip?” He said in confusion.

Before eventually,

He runs towards the box.

At first the bodyguard was confused about how the wolf captain was able to fit inside of a box.

Because that could not be possible to do,

Due to how big he is,

Which was weird as he’s the shortest cookie that he has ever met.

Even for a 23 year old.

But anyways,

He was able to find out how exactly Crunchy CHip Cookie was able to fit inside of a box,

As he looks through the hole of it.

Turns out that Crunchy Chip Cookie,

Can shrink his body at any will,

Which is why he was able to fit inside the box.

As small spaces make him feel safe,

But unfortunately, because of what he saw,

He’s now scared.

Which Wildberry Cookie could tell by seeing that not only was his crush hugging himself,

But he was also hyperventilating,

And crying too.

Which he realises is some of the main symptoms of a panic attack.

Which was something he knows about,

Thanks to his experience with it after Beast-Yeast,

And seeing his own adoptive mother deal with it,

During the Dark Flour Wars.

Which made him feel sad about it.

But he did have a fight with the voice about if he should help him deal with it or not.

{He’s having a panic attack. Maybe I should calm him down.}

{What no? He brought this on himself. As he wouldn’t shut up about “Her” and has been acting like a crybaby.}

{Hey, it’s not his fault. You saw how uncomfortable he was with getting his gloves off.}

{But he didn’t tell you that he has scars too. And what does that make him? A bad friend.}

{He’s not a bad friend, he’s just a friend who I am deeply in love with. So just shut up already, so I can comfort him, like an actual friend would do.}

{We can deal about what he means by “Her” later.}

So despite what the voices in his head was saying,

He decides to help his crush,

Through what he presumably sees,

As his first panic attack…

The first thing he did was remove the lid from the box,

And gently scooping up the tiny wolf captain with his two hands.

While also reassuring him that everything’s gonna be okay,

And he’s not gonna hurt him.

Showing the special bond that these two share with each other.

Then he brings him closer to his body,

Hoping that his crush would just cling onto him for support.

Before eventually,

He hums a little tune.

The same tune that Hollyberry Cookie used to sing to him when he was little,

As he still remembers the lyrics and how the song goes, to this day. {Which is of course, Beautiful Boy by John Lennon}

And turns out that it works,

As he sees and even hears during the humming,

That Crunchy Chip Cookie was starting to calm down now because of it.

Which made him feel happy and relieved about it.

Even more so,

As the wolf captain also started to cling onto him for comfort.

Which was exactly what he thought would happen.

But it was alright,

As right now,

It was just the two of them.

Sitting right next to an alleyway,

Listening to a song.

In the name of comfort.

It would take a few minutes before eventually,

Crunchy Chip Cookie would be fully calmed down,

And ready to talk to him.

Especially with his scars.

“I’m sorry, for running away like that. I just saw her again, and I panicked.” The wolf captain said to his friend sadly.

“It’s alright. But what about your scars? Why were you so uneasy about them?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

“{Sigh} Well you see. They make me look weak. They hurt my pride and even my happiness. And no matter how hard I try to pretend that they don’t exist. That they’ll just go away in a few days. They’re still there. And now I think, they’re never gonna be gone or healed. Because I’m afraid that they’ll stay with me forever.” The wolf captain sadly replied.

Wow, so all this time,

Crunchy Chip Cookie also sees his scars as damages to him,

That can be never be healed.

Just like his own scars.

But despite his content to show Crunchy Chip Cookie the scars on his arm,

The voice keeps telling him to keep them hidden,

So that he doesn’t know that he also has them.

In fear of angering him ever more.

So he decides to cheer him up the best he can.

“It’s alright Chip. No need to be sad about them. As that’s what happens with scars, they don’t heal like damages or even wounds. They just stay on your body for rest of your life. But that’s okay, as scars like these, won’t stop us from doing the things we love. Such as protecting our own kingdom.” Wildberry Cookie said to him.

Which cheered up the wolf captain a bit.

“You think so?” He asked him.

“Yeah, I do. Do you still want to tell me, how you got them in the first place?” Wildberry Cookie asks.

But it appears that his crush was not in the mood to tell him that,

Pretty understandable as after having a panic attack like that,

He would be tired.

But still, he wants to know,

As he has gotten a bit worried for him ever since seeing those scars back at the shop.

“Come on. I think it’s time that we go back to the Hollyberry Kingdom.” The bodyguard said to his crush.

And so both they and Crunchy Chip Cookie’s cream wolf,

Who was with it’s owner during his panic attack,

All head back at the Hot-Air Balloon.

But not before they run into the siblings again,

Who wants them to pay the suit.

Which they do,

Through Wildberry Cookie’s coins.

And boy does he have a lot of them,

I mean he does come from a royal family,

But jeez, that belongs in a pool of money or something like that.

But anyways after that was done,

They all head back to the Hollyberry Kingdom.

It was already the evening,

As Wildberry Cookie hands the wolf captain to his Adoptive Mother,

So that he can have a proper rest,

After everything that happened.

While he and Arctic Cat Cookie have a chat about something else that’s been going on with the bodyguard.

Inside of the garden.

“Alright Arctic Cat Cookie. What do you want to talk to me about now?” Wildberry Cookie asked.

To which the doctor pulls something out of her bag,

Which turns out to be a bottle filled with Anti-Depressants Pills.

“Here. Take these.” She said to him.

Much to his confusion.

As he has never seen those pills before,

Only Painkillers,

Which he is still taking to make sure that his arm hurts less.

“What are those? As they don’t look like Painkillers.” The bodyguard asks.

“These are Anti-Depressants. It’s to help you with whatever’s been happening with you right now.” Arctic Cat Cookie replied to him.

Which confuses him ever more,

As why would he be feeling that,

I mean sure it does make sense with the voices in his head bugging him.

But he has never felt that he would have that stuff to begin with.

“Why would you think, I have it?” He asks her in confusion.

“Because I feel like that your’e going through the same exact things as another cookie I know. The voices nagging you, you feeling a lot less happy or having less emotions inside of you. And how you feel like that your’e weak and you want to die.” Arctic Cat Cookie replies.

“Wait. What do you mean by another cookie?” Wildberry Cookie asks.

“Oh, didn’t you heard from what I was telling Hollyberry Cookie yesterday? The king’s son Dark Choco Cookie, has returned to the Dark Cacao Kingdom.” Arctic Cat Cookie replied.

But before he could say anything about what she revealed.

She does the talking for him,

And why it would be a good idea for him to take the pills.

“I know what your’e gonna say. But let me explain.”

“Look I get it. He used to be a member of the Cookies of Darkness. You know, kill everyone and reign hell on Crispia. But here’s 2 important words. Used to.”

“Yeah, turns out that after reconciling with his dad, and left the Strawberry Jam Sword for good. He actually redeemed himself.”

“Not only did he helped out with curing everyone from the pale ailment a month ago, by delivering us those o shoots.”

“But he’d also saved a lot of cookies, who were traveling to the Dark Cacao Kingdom from monsters who lived in the forests. Before eventually, he felt comfortable enough to go back home.”

“But even if his relationship with his father has healed ever since his return, what didn’t however, was his trauma and the scars.”

“As no matter how hard he tries, he’ll never be happy, he’ll always keep hearing the voices from his head about killing everyone in this entire kingdom. Heck, before I went on this trip with Chip, he told me that everyday he wishes he could die. Or at least wished he did died during the stabbing incident.”

“But that’s okay for him, as with my help alongside the king, his sister Caramel Arrow Cookie, and all of the other citizens who still sees him as their prince. He’s not alone. And that he can heal from the past. Not fully mind you, but enough so that he can be happy again.”

“So that’s why I want you to take these pills, as I told the prince the same thing. And he said that, he’ll think about it.”

“Will you please take them? So that you won’t have to feel this way anymore?” Arctic Cat Cookie asks Wildberry Cookie,

As she hands the pills.

And after just one look at the container,

He makes his decision.

“I’ll think about taking them tomorrow.” He replied to her.

“I knew you were going to say that. Anyways, bye Wildberry Cookie, I sure did enjoyed our second doctor’s appointment.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to him.

Before eventually she walks out of the garden.

So, she wants him to take these pills huh?

Better look at the side effects just in case.

So he checks them out,

And turns out that the side effects for them can cause:

Headaches,

Nausea,

Dry Mouth,

Sleep Problems,

Dizziness,

And of course, Weight Change.

{What? This looks like that these pills will cause more damage to me.}

{Not help me out. Especially with the fact that it can cause Weight Change.}

{I don’t want to be fat, because as far as I’m concerned, bodygaurds are not fat!}

{What was she even thinking when she gave me these.}

{No, don’t blame the doctor. She was very concerned for you and your problems. So that’s why she gave you these pills.}

{yeah, I know. But now I’m not sure if I want to take these pills or not.}

{Wether they help me or not, I’m not going through with the-}

Suddenly he felt another gag,

Oh no,

Not again.

And so just like that,

He drops the Antidepressants onto the ground.

And coughs up more blood and flowers once more.

This time however,

All of the Snowdrop Lilies he has coughed up,

Have stems on them now.

Shit, is this keeps up.

He doesn’t think he’ll be able to live long until the night of the dance.

It just keeps getting worse and worse.

Gotta confess to him quickly.

Gotta confess to Crunchy Chip Cookie that he loves him,

Not as a friend,

But as his special someone.

On Wednesday…

Crunchy Chip Cookie was invited by Wildberry Cookie to do somehting inside of the garden,

That actually turned out to be a dancing lesson.

Which he thinks is a good idea,

As well, he can’t dance very well,

Unlike the bodyguard who is a natural dancer,

Thanks to his time at the many parties and dances hosted at the Castle of the Hollyberry Kingdom.

Turns out,

He actually had a lot of fun with his friend.

As throughout the day,

Wildberry Cookie was able to hep him dance like a professional,

And even dance with each other,

Which was kinda romantic coed but he doesn’t know that just yet.

With the audiences, which contains Arctic Cat Cookie, Hollyberry Cookie and even the bodyguard’s 2 nieces, cheering for them while also watching the scene unfold.

They knew that they have the biggest and strongest bond out of everyone in the entire Earthbread.

But unfortunately,

It appears that Wildberry Cookie was about to tell him something.

When suddenly he started to gag,

Before eventually just leaving to go to the bathroom.

Which started to confuse and also concern Crunchy Chip Cookie a lot.

As ever since he had arrived at the Hollyberry Kingdom,

He’d noticed that Wildberry Cookie has been acting all weird.

Too weird, even for him.

Especially since he wanted to know everything that happened to him during his journey with Hollyberry Cookie in Beast-Yeast.

He’s starting to become paranoid and a bit unwilling to trust anyone,

And unfortunately the more days passes,

The more it just gets worst.

The night before the big dance.

All he has to do now is sleep through the night,

And then get ready for the dance.

Well turns out that with trauma,

He just couldn’t sleep,

No matter how hard he tries too.

All he could do right now, was stare at everything that was in his guest room.

That either be his cream wolf,

A chair,

The suit he’s gonna wear tomorrow evening.

And Mystic Flour Cookie…

Wait what!?

Holy shit, she’s here!

Most of the time, he never sees her staring at him while he’s in his bed,

With that creepy ass smile of hers.

But it did genuinely spooked him.

So badly in fact, that it caused him to fling himself off his bed,

In a panic.

Only to see that she’s gone,

And that it was just an hallucination.

Much to his relief.

“Why is this still happening to me? Can’t I just go one day without seeing her everywhere I go?” He said to himself in a worried tone of voice.

Yeah it appears that he’s done with just seeing her everyday.

So in order to clear his mind.

He decides to go to one of the balconies of the castle.

And get some fresh air,

That’ll help him catch some sleep, right?

It’s been a really rough month for him ever since his own journey to Beast-Yeast.

As he still remembers that horrifying moment to this day.

The fact that he and the others were in a place filled with nothing but white,

The fact that he, Caramel Arrow Cookie and the others, save for his majesty got turned into flour,

And the fact that he just accepted that death,

Knowing that he won’t have to worry about his own cream wolves,

Really rubbed him the wrong way.

As he knows that he doesn’t want to die,

But still did it,

Because he didn’t want to worry the king so badly.

And even when he and the others were brought back from being flours,

The pain and trauma that comes from it still stayed.

As frequently he would just see her all over the place,

And he would get scared by her.

Oh, and don’t get him started on the scars,

He knows that everyone who got returned to flour has them,

But his scars might be the worst ones yet.

As they just stretch out from his hands to shoulders.

And all though they didn’t hurt so bad,

They still left mental like damages to him.

Plus the reason why he decided to go to the Hollyberry Kingdoms,

Not because he wanted to go to that royal dance.

But because,

He wanted to get out of the kingdom for a while.

Although he was happy to go and see Wildberry Cookie again.

Because of the bond they had back in the Creme Republic 2 years ago,

As he couldn’t stand seeing the snow outside the kingdom,

As it still reminds him of the flours,

And that traumatising memory of him being reduced to nothing,

But flour…

And there he was,

Just standing on the balcony,

In silence.

Turns out that the balcony he went to,

Was actually the one that oversees the pool area,

That he and Wildberry Cookie went to on Monday.

Seeing it,

Brought him a calm feeling inside of him.

As he just wants this nightmare inside of him to be over and done with.

He just wants the trauma to be gone.

Because if can be able to go on with their lives while still dealing with the trauma that happened to them.

Why can’t he?

“Why? Why can’t I just let go of this painful memory. Why?” Crunchy Chip Cookie said to himself,

As he started to feel sad and upset.

That he’ll never be able to get over this trauma of his,

No matter how hard he tries.

But fortunately,

Oh wait, I mean, unfortunately,

He’s not alone.

As someone was already there with him.

Which turns out to be the Beast of Apathy herself,

Mystic Flour Cookie,

Or rather the hallucination of her.

“You wanna know, why that is? It’s because you’re letting your emotions consume you. Your poor and weak emotions.” She said to him.

And when he sees who it was that is with him right now,

He freaks out again.

And starts running towards the door of the balcony.

But unfortunately,

It appears that he accidentally locked the door on the outside,

And now can’t run back inside the castle,

No matter how hard he tries to open it.

“Come on. Come on, open you stupid door. Open the fuck up! Open right fucking now! Open Seasme, you fucking door!” The wolf captain said,

As he tries to open the door while still being scared for his life.

But it was all for not,

As eventually,

The hallucination of Mystic Flour Cookie walks right up towards him,

And starts speaking to him.

“Where do you think your’e going?” She asked him.

“Stay away from me! Don’t you dare turn me into flour, again! I won’t allow it!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said to her in a scared tone of voice.

“You really think you can escape from me that easily? You do know that I just keep coming and coming and coming back, until the bitter end. But perhaps there is another way of you getting rid of me.” Mystic Flour Cookie said to him.

“Really? Like what?” The wolf captain asked.

To which she brings him to see the pool,

From the views of the balcony.

With the wolf captain knowing exactly what she’s gonna talk about,

And not loving every bit of it.

“See that pool? See how beautiful the water is? The way it looks like any blue, clear water? Unlike the waters from my realm? Well I want you to end it all. Go for a swim, will you please? Then sink into the bottom, where you can be in peace, be surrounded by darkness. And when you can finally return, to nothingness.” The Beast of Apathy whispered to him.

But there is no way he’s gonna do that,

By just jumping headfirst into the pool from the balcony,

And drowning.

“Are you out of your mind? There’s no way I’m doing that. I have so much to live you know! Plus, I’m only 23 years old.” Crunchy Chip Cookie protested against her.

But unfortunately,

This only seems to make her more angrier and scarier in her eyes.

“Hmm, it appears that your foolish emotions have made you blind by what’s truly going on.”

“No matter how hard you try to forget about, deep down, you know that it will truly never go away.”

“Why couldn’t you accepted apathy. Just like the rest of your friends and family?” Mystic Flour Cookie asked him sinisterly,

With her creepy smile being back for vengeance.

He tries to talk back to her,

But it gets cuts off by the sudden fast beating of his heart,

And the fact that he can’t breathe right now.

He couldn’t tell if the air being siphoned out of him,

So that he can suffocate to death because of her,

Was real or not.

Because right now,

He doesn’t know the meaning between real or fake at all.

While the beast of apathy,

Keeps tearing into him,

Like a puppet filled with strong emotions.

And all of them were bad ones to be exact.

“If you truly want them to go away. I suggest you end it all. Take a nice long dip in the pool.”

“On one will know that your’e here, no one will mourn you and no one will remember you.”

“Because why? Your’e a screw-up. A big screw-up who hasn’t told anyone about the things you’ve been dealing with.”

“Not even your close friend Wildberry Cookie.”

“So why don’t you go ahead, and jump off from this balcony?”

“Bring an end to your suffering. Won’t you?” Mystic Flour Cookie said to him sinisterly.

Someone,

Please save him from this nightmare.

This has to be a bad dream he’s having right?

This all is a bad dream right?

No way is he dying from suffocation.

No way is he gonna die from the hands of the Beast of Apathy now.

Cause she’s gone now.

Dark Cacao Cookie already defeated her in battle.

Arctic Cat Cookie bolted through the halls of the castle,

Just trying to find where he was,

Until eventually she finds him in one of the balconies,

Hyperventilating like crazy.

So worried for him.

She was able to quickly open the door,

Just goes to show that her love for her brother,

Does make her strong.

“I’m here. Just tell me what’s going on now, and we can get through this together.” She said worriedly to her little brother.

But unfortunately to her,

It was a lot more than what she expected from him.

As not only does she see that he’s acting like he’s struggling to breathe,

But she realises that something bad must’ve happen to him that caused him to do that.

She knew that his trauma from Beast-Yeast would be bad,

Especially with the fact that he kept seeing Mystic Flour Cookie for like a month now.

But she never knew that it would get so bad,

Especially tonight,

Before the day of the dance.

But fortunately,

She knew exactly how to calm him down, as an older sister.

So she gently picks him up,

And hugs him,

Before eventually talking to him.

“Hey baby brother? Do you remember what our mum said to us? The last time we saw her before she gave her own life to save us?”

“It’s 1 little word. The word that I always use , to describe us.”

“Gajog {Or family in Korean}”

“Gajog means family.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to her little brother.

Which thankfully was able to calm him down,

As he stops choking himself to death,

And sees his own sister,

Which relieved himself from the traumatic experience he was having before hand.

Until eventually,

The siblings say the line together.

“Gajog means family. Family means no on gets left behind or forgotten. And that they’ll always be there to comfort each other. No matter how bad things get for them.”

“Because they’ll always have each other. Both blood and non-blood.” Both Crunchy Chip Cookie and Arctic Cat Cookie said together.

But even after that they both said that,

It didn’t stop the waterworks inside of the wolf captain to burst out of him.

As he begins to cry,

Much to his sister’s worries for him.

“I can’t do this anymore!” He shouted,

Before eventually crying his tears out.

While Arctic Cat Cookie does everything she can to comfort him.

“Hey, everything’s gonna be okay, Chip. I promise. We’ll fine a way.” She said to her younger brother.

“I want those scars to be gone already.” The wolf captain said in tears.

“I know. I know you do. But everything's gonna be okay.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to him.

“I just want to die!” Crunchy Chip Cookie blurted out in tears.

Which was something the doctor didn’t expected him to say,

As she never once saw that her brother wanted to…

Until now…

But still, she does everything to tell him otherwise.

“No, no you don’t brother. I promise you that everything will be alright. And so will you.” Arctic Cat Cookie said to him.

Before eventually she hugs him again,

He just needs a bit of comfort from his sister.

While Arctic Cat Cookie keeps repeating the 2 little words to him:

FRIDAY-

Well everyone,

I’m happy to say that the royal dance,

Is now here on this fine night.

Where all of the cookies from the Hollyberry Kingdom {Including the visitors who get an invite by it’s ruler} all gather round,

And celebrate the day when Hollyberry Cookie herself took down her beast counterpart Eternal Sugar Cookie,

And saved the kingdoms.

This shall be the most epic,

Most fun,

Most loudest,

And most craziest party ever!

By the time it was the evening,

Arctic Cat Cookie was worriedly eating for her little brother to come out of his guest room,

Plus she’s already in her dress.

And boy does she look cute and beautiful wearing it.

But nevermind that,

As it was pretty clear that she has become very worried about him,

Ever since what happened last night.

With him wishing to die and even having a panic attack about Mystic Flour Cookie.

Which she doesn’t like seeing,

She doesn’t want to see her brother suffer like that.

But then a few minutes later,

Suddenly the door finally opens.

And she sees Crunchy Chip Cookie in his new suit.

Not only that,

But he looks happy to be in it too,

Including going to the royal dance with her.

Much to her shock but also relief.

Plus she just love how her brother looks in a uniform.

“My, I must say Chip. You don’t look bad in that suit of yours.” She said to her little brother with respect.

“I know. Plus I think you look beautiful in that dress as well.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said back to her.

But even though the sibling were happy to see each other in their party uniforms.

There was something in the older sister’s mind that was bothering her.

“You know baby brother. I thought you would refuse to go to the party. Because of what happened last night. But I’m glad to see you that your’e okay now.” Arctic Cat Cookie said happily to her brother.

“Yeah, me too. Anyways enough chatting. Let’s get this party started!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said loudly and happily.

And so just like that,

The 2 siblings head towards the ballroom.

Which is where the royal dance will be taking place at.

Thankfully they just arrived at the dance just in time,

As it has already started.

And let me just say,

How amazing the party looks right now.

With foods,

And most importantly,

The guests of the party.

And while Arctic Cat Cookie heads off to go and have a chat with some of the cookies who are the same age as her.

Crunchy Chip Cookie quickly sees Wildberry Cookie having a chat with his 2 nieces.

And boy, does he also look good in his own suit for the royal dance.

So much so that it causes the wolf captain to start blushing at him.

As not only was the bodyguard’s hair done up in a small ponytail style.

But look at his suit.

I mean, not only is he wearing what appears to be a dark pink tuxedo,

But there a flower pin that serves as his bow tie.

And white sleeves on him.

Man does it make him look more beautiful than before.

But thankfully Crunchy Chip Cookie was able to snap out of it.

And eventually calls out to his friend.

“Yo! Wildberry Cookie! Guess who arrived at the party tonight? This guy!” The wolf captain said to his friend happily.

To which the bodyguard notices,

And so sends his 2 nieces away to have a bit of their own fun.

Before eventually,

He just stares at his crush.

Wondering what he should do for his first move.

{Alright Wildberry Cookie. Tonight’s the night where you finally tell him how you really feel.}

{Don’t screw this up.}

{Because if you do, then that’s it. You’ll die to this fucking disease.}

{So make every minute count}

And so the bodyguard walks over to his crush,

And they have a conversation with each other.

“You look really good tonight in that suit of yours.” Wildberry Cookie said to his crush.

“Really? Well you too.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said back to him.

It was a bit awkward at first.

But at least the two of them were happy to see each other at the party.

Before eventually,

“Do you wanna dance the night away with me?” The bodyguard asked.

“Fuck yeah, I do!” Crunchy Chip Cookie happily replied.

The two of them join some of the other couples and friends on the dance floor.

Thanks to the dance lesson that Qildberry Cookie gave Crunchy Chip Cookie on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The two of them were able to dance with each other without any problems.

Especially through some of the songs,

Wether that be a fast song {Like for example: Be our guest from Beauty and the Beast}

Or even a slow song {Like for example: Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis}

It was a magical experience for the both of them.

As right now,

They were dancing in each other’s arms.

Which was always cute to see.

But Wildberry Cookie knew that at this moment,

This was when he’ll finally tell his crush that he loves him very much.

Which will cause the Snowdrop Lilies to go away,

And he can live happily ever after.

“Chip, there’s something really important I’ve been meaning to tell you.” The bodyguard said.

“Really? What is it?” The wolf captain asks.

But unfortunately, just when things were about to be good for him,

Something just has to crash it all down to the ground.

“I-“

Starting with of course,

The bodyguard suddenly gagging infront of the wolf captain.

Which causes him to let go of his friend,

And looks at him with confusion and worries.

“Woah, Wildberry Cookie. Are you okay? You don’t look well.” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked worriedly.

{Crap. Not right now.}

{Not right fucking now.}

{JUst hold it in Wildberry Cookie.}

{Come on, don’t puke out the lilies in front of him, you stupid bodyguard.}

Not wanting to ahev his crush witness it,

He immediately bolts to the bathroom,

With the mistake of not telling him where he’s going exactly.

But that doesn’t matter at all.

As just when the wolf captain was about to follow him.

Suddenly he sees something on the floor.

Turns out that Wildberry Cookie had coughed up a small Snowdrop Lily petal before he bolted away.

And because of the fact that it has blood and mucus,

Crunchy Chip Cookie knew that something was up with the bodyguard.

And he doesn’t like it.

He doesn’t fucking like it at all…

Okay that was brutal,

That was so gross to hear.

Oh my witches, it’s gonna make me puke too.

That just doesn’t sound right at all.

It took about 5 minutes for him to start breathing again,

And yet he was starting to hyperventilate.

Why?

Because look at how many blood and Snowdrop Lillies he just coughed.

It’s an ungodly amount of them.

Shit, he really is going to die by the end of this fun filled night.

Isn’t he?

He doesn’t want to die now.

He’s doesn’t wanna die at all.

He has a future,

And even a crush he never even gotten to ask out,

Because of this stupid disease he has right now.

But even with the hyperventilation gone.

Appears that the flowers have really grown on him.

As he keeps on coughing,

While even speaking.

Fuck, when did it became so hard to breathe,

Even if you had coughed up everything in your lungs.

So after he washed off the blood on the sink,

He returns back to the dance floor…

Hoping to tell Crunchy Chip Cookie again.

This time without any gagging.

When he returned,

The bodyguard was greeted by the angry look on his crush.

Which results in the two of them,

Having their first fight with each other,

But turns out that the wolf captain wasn’t angry at him about that.

It was actually a lot more worse.

As Crunchy Chip Cookie shows him,

The blood stained petal of a Snowdrop Lily…

“Mind explaining to me what the fuck is this?” Crunchy Chip Cookie asked angrily.

{Oh shit, he finally found about it!}

{Now what are you going to do about it, you stupid bodyguard?}

“Uh, what are you talking about?” Wildberry Cookie asked,

Trying to lie about it.

But the wolf captain was not ready to hear a lie from him.

Especially since he saw everything.

“Don’t you dare lie to me, Bub! I saw you coughed up a single petal from your mouth, while you were running to another room.” Crunchy Chip Cookie yelled angrily at him.

Causing Wildberry Cookie to grow a lot more nervous about it.

As now that Crunchy Chip Cookie knows about the blood stained petal,

Things start falling apart from here.

“Wait I can explain.” WIldberry Cookie said to him worriedly.

But not before Crunchy Chip Cookie sees the pink bandages.

And decides to do something about it.

“Oh wait, my mistake. I forgot to ask you. Why are you still wearing those at the party? Here let me help you, take them off!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said sarcasticly.

And despite the bodyguard’s protest and telling him not to,

It was already too late.

As the wolf captain takes his bandages off,

Revealing the big scar on his arm.

Not only shocking him.

But also everyone at the party,

That includes the king and queen,

The bandmates,

And even some of the cookies that the bodyguard had known for a long time.

And soon,

It didn’t take long for the wolf captain to be angry at him for that too.

“What the? Is this why you covered yourself? So that you won’t show that? It looks worse than mine.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said in shock.

“Wait I can also explain that too.” Wildberry Cookie tries to explain.

But it was very obvious that the wolf captain was done listening,

And was now berating his friend for not only the scars,

But also getting hurt too.

“No! I already gotten what I need. Especially the fact that your’e a fucking liar!” Crunchy Chip Cookie said angrily to him.

“Oh, so you think your’e calling me a liar, is that right?” Wildberry Cookie asks,

As he also becomes very angry at his crush too.

And soon,

Things go even more downhill from here.

“Yes I do. Because how could you lie to me like this Wildberry Cookie? Me? You told me that you were okay during your adventure at Beast-Yeast. And yet here I am seeing that you have scars that are even worse than mine.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said angrily.

“Oh yeah? So let me guess then? You think that my scars are worse than yours. When even though I’m sure that you gotten you scars from her. Even though I have no idea who her is?”

“And speaking of which. Why the fuck do you keep freaking out about nothing?”

“And don’t tell me that you keep seeing her. Because me and everyone knows that it’s complete bullshit!”

“I think that the reason why you keep freaking out over nothing, it’s because you want everyone to see it, it’s that right? You selfish bastard?”

“The race, us smashing into those barrels of berry juice. And even the store back at the Creme Republic. It’s so that everyone can sympathise with you.”

“Well let me tell you, I ain’t falling for that.”

“So why don’t you admit that this is all apart of your dumb ruse. And stop fucking kidding around for once!”

“Do you hear me, Chip? Your’e a fucking hypocrite!” Wildberry Cookie yelled angrily at his crush.

Which turns into one of the biggest mistake he ever created,

 

As after saying that to him.

Crunchy Chip Cookie,

Has a complete meltdown over it.

“That’s it! I’m done! None of you understand what I’m going through okay!”

“None of you do!”

“None of you understand what kinds of problems i;ve been dealing with ever since the journey in Beast-Yeast.”

“Every fucking night, I keep seeing her.”

“Whether that’s in the kingdom, in my bed or even while I’m with my sister. I keep fucking seeing her.”

“And it gets more worse with everyday. Because I know that she’s gonna kill me at any day now.”

“Plus not only that, but I can still remember that horrible memory.”

“The memory of me and Caramel Arrow Cookie being reduced to flour like we’re nothing.”

“I could still feel myself withering away into flour, even while I’m not at the Dark Cacao Kingdom right now.”

“I thought that if I went to the Hollyberry Kingdom. Then all of those things could stop right?”

“Fucking wrong! Because I can’t even have fun, if I have to keep seeing the Beast of Apathy everywhere I go!”

“And I’m fucking sick and tired of it right now!”

“So there! There’s your fucking answer!”

“Happy! Because I hope you are!”

“As I never want to see you or this kingdom ever again!” Crunchy Chip Cookie angrily yelled.

Wow,

He thought hat his crush was kidding.

But no…

Just by how he talked about it.

It seems like he did go through some horrible time after the journey to Beast-Yeast.

Wildberry Cookie tried to apologise to him.

But Crunchy Chip Cookie made it very clear that he doesn’t want to see anyone here ever again,

“I’m sorry, Chip, I didn’t-“ The bodyguard tried to say sadly.

But the wolf captain just pushed him away.

Before eventually,

Ending their friendship…

“No, don’t be. You were the only thing I was looking forward to, when coming to this kingdom for the first time.”

“But if you’re just gonna keep me in the dark, not understanding the pain I’m going through right now, and basically lying to my face.”

“Then I don’t think I could trust you anymore.”

“Because it sounds like that you hate me. You really do hate me.” Crunchy Chip Cookie said angrily.

And just like that,

“No, Chip, I don’t-“ The bodyguard tried to say.

“But that’s fine…”

“Because, I hate you too…”

His heart was broken into a million of pieces.

Not only that,

But it appears that the wolf captain saying that he now hates him.

Causes Wildberry Cookie.

To start gagging again.

And even coughing too.

Before eventually…

Just as everyone least expected it…

{Vomits}

He couldn’t control himself.

As now he was basically acting a like a fountain of blood and Snowdrop Lilies.

And worse of all,

With the amount of blood he’s losing because of it,

He collapses onto the ground.

Watching as everyone starts panicking about it.

As they think that the Hanahaki Disease that he’s having right now,

Might actually be infectious.

Until he faces Crunchy Chip Cookie.

Who was horrified to see that he was basically vomiting blood and flowers.

Before eventually running away in disgust and anger.

Much to the shamefulness and sadness of the bodyguard.

Who then passes out,

Because of blood loss…

With the last thing he hears,

Being the sounds of the partygoers still screaming…

{Chip, I’m so sorry.}

Especially from the cookie who he doesn’t want anything to do with anymore.

And still loves him.

Because he feels ashamed and sorry for what he did back at the dance floor.

Causing the wolf captain to see who it was,

That stopped him from falling to his death,

And becomes very angry at him.

“No, I won’t. Why do you think, this is a good reason? These are never a good reasons, especially when we are dealing with traumas.” Wildberry Cookie asked worriedly.

“It’s the only way to stop her from following me. You wouldn’t understand, because apart from that scar of yours. Your journey went very well with you, you selfish prick!” The wolf captain replied angrily.

To which Wildberry Cookie finally tells him all about his own problems.

And what actually happened to him back at Beast-Yeast.

“I do understand Crunchy Chip Cookie. I understand how you feel about being tormented by the memories of a beast. Because that’s what’s been happening to me recently.”

“Not only do I keep having nightmares of Eternal Sugar Cookie. But some of them revolves around me losing Hollyberry Cookie to her.”

“And worse of all, these scars were a result from me saving her.”

“And even though they’re a lot better now, because of Eternal Sugar Cookie healing them.”

“And I’m also sorry for not realising that you’ve had your’e own problems and trauma too.”
