Chapter 1
Steve and Tony, happily married, were excited when they learned that Tony was pregnant with their first child, (something to do with Erskine’s Serum side effect). It made both lovers stun into silence when they found out that months from now, they’d have their first ever child in their arms.
Nine months later, Tony gave birth to their child, but not without any complications. Their son, proudly named Peter Benjamin Rogers-Stark, was born small and came out pale-blue. The doctor had immediately sent the infant in the incubator room for future notice and checked if the infant surfer more than just breathing problem. Tony was devastated while Steve - who was outside waiting for the news and the arrival of their son - found out about the whole ordeal when the doctor had informed Steve regarding the issue of their son.
Steve was apprehensive and although the good news was that Tony was alive and mange to make it during the labor, it was not without suffering from massive blood loss - though they’d succeeded in pulling the newborn out – but Tony came out safe yet their son did not share the same fate. Their little one had to stay in the hospital for the time being, perhaps longer than they’d anticipated just to be sure that Peter would be okay. Steve watched his son from the nursery room tucked warmly inside an incubator. A few tears leaked from his eyes as Bruce gave his support by putting his hand on Steve’s shoulder, telling him to be strong, not just for Tony’s sake, but for their son as well.
The next few days, Tony was sent home and was allowed to leave the hospital. However their little one (Peter) had to remain in the hospital for further observations. Both fathers soon made the visiting-Peter as their daily active activity. Tony even got to hold his son, but only for a little while before the nurse needed to put Peter back in his incubator, which Tony harshly called it his Cage.
Weeks later, they heard the bad news from Agent Phil; that someone broke into the hospital and took their son. They weren’t merely devastated for anger surged through Tony and Steve, dominating their inner emotions. Someone dared do such a thing to them. S.H.I.L.E.D. had assured to assist them look for Peter and bring him back to them. Unfortunately, months passed and they couldn’t find their little Peter. Steve couldn’t get over it. Tony tried his best to be strong for the both of them even though that he was the one who gave birth to him (the pain he felt was tenfold) but failed miserably as he went back to consume alcohol like he used to before the holy matrimony.
They still went on missions. Still, their relationship hadn’t been steady as it was fragile after Peter had gone missing. They talked about it. None of the Avengers brought up topics or mentioned Peter, or on how they wished that Peter was still here, alive.
In the dark, a hope, false or not; Tony and Steve hoped one day, their son would return to them safely and unharmed.

Fourteen Years later. (Time skip)
After the episode with the Lizard three months ago, everything went back to normal. Well mostly normal except for Peter who was still busy committing his fighting crimes of catching burglars, thieves, kidnappers, and so on. The usual cliché things. Peter still continued going to school by day, Spiderman and crime fighting by night.
Peter woke up to the sound of his alarm clock as he switched it off (smashing it, due to his new mutation power). He sat up, stretching his arms and giving a little yawn here and there, before leaping out of bed. Peter went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. When he was done he put on new attires before marching downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast; cereals, milk and sandwiches, before heading to school. He left note on the freezer for his aunty May to know he went out going to school already.

Nick Fury, head of the S.H.I.L.E.D, sat in his office, reading the files agent Phil Coulson sent to him a while ago. The files were mostly regarding the report incident that occurred three months ago about the whole lizard things, followed by the files of Spiderman encountering and fighting Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus a few weeks later. It caught Nick’s attention as he was more interested in Spiderman than the Lizard, who was a Scientist turned into a mad giant reptile.
Nick looked at the files of Spiderman for the last time before he made a call, requesting for Phil Coulson to come back to his office to talk and discus a few things about Spiderman, followed by a call for the Avengers for an important meeting.

Tony often went to visit the nursery room that he and Steve designed years ago whenever he was bored or in need for a break from his lab or sometimes just feel like staying there. He felt as if the child was still around albeit knowing he wasn’t with them anymore. They hadn’t got rid of it or rather, they couldn’t. None of them wanted to forget their son that was stolen from them a few weeks later after he was born fourteen years ago. If Peter was with them right now, he’d have Tony’s hair and smart, maybe Steve’s puppy eyes and ,and, and-
Steve knew it was harder for Tony to just forget their lost son but he had moved on (as heartless as that sounded) but sometimes, all the time, they missed their son. The little boy they had dreamed of to have ever since they knew it was impossible for them to have a child from their own fresh and blood since they were both male. Then this tiny miracle happened. They were exultant for it, given the bless to create their own child, a family they had so desperately wanted, only for the chance to be ripped away from them the moment the child was born.
Tony seldom pondered why such thing like this ensued to them. Did they deserve this? They weren’t the bad guys so how could something like this happen to them? They protected Earth, the people, and every inhabitant, for pity’s sake. Yet some of this people did this kind of cruel thing to them after everything they had done to save them.
Tony knew that he and Steve might not be good or better fathers to their child but they were willing to try to be the best parents to their own child. They had loved the little one that was growing inside Tony those years before, and was eager to try their best for the child, was keen enough to do anything just for their child, even if it meant giving up the Avengers duty.
The universe really despised them then or was just messing around with their lives. Tony moved toward the cribs and placed his hand on the rail. A sad expression marred his face. He imagined their little Peter here with them, at home in his little blue crib, awake and smiling up at his papas, cooing to greet him good morning yet he know in reality it would never happen.
He looked up and stared at the window in front of the crib. “It’s been years now. I’m sure that little Peter is probably around fourteen years old by now, if he is still alive somewhere out there” Tony muttered as tears dropped from his eyes by just thinking of it.
Tony hadn’t realized that someone was at the door until the person voice snapped him out of his thought. “Tony?” It was Steve. Tony blinked his tearful eyes, he wiped them before turned his head to face his husband. “Hey Cap! Do you need anything?” He asked. Steve just gave Tony a sad smile before saying. “Actually… Nick called for a meeting at SHIELD’s headquarters and is expecting us to move there right away.” Steve informed.
Tony eyed his husband suspiciously. “By ‘Right away’ you mean as in ‘Now’?” He asked which made Steve smile and nod his head. “Yes.” He simply said. Tony rolled his eyes. “Alright, Cap. I’ll be ready in a second… Just give me a few minute to get dressed before we head our way there.” He claimed as Steve bobbed his head. “All right… I’ll be in the living room if you needed anything.” Steve spoke, going downstairs and sitting in one of the satin armchairs in the living room while he was waiting for Tony.
Like Tony, Steve too missed their stolen son from them. He fantasized of what it would feel like to teach Peter to play baseball or to teach him to ride a bike. The things a normal father would teach their son. Sometime he dreamed of reading a bedtime story to Peter, if he was still there. Steve bit the insides of his lips as silver tears fell and he turned around to face the back of the armchair.

Nick Fury sat on his chair as the front door flew open. He looked up to see Captain America and Tony Stark as the two walked quietly to their presented seats and filled the empty space. He noticed the way Steve was eye-balling him to get on with the meeting. He complied and motioned Coulson to hand each file to the Avengers. Nick stood up, pressing a button on the oval table. A tri-color holograph of Spiderman swinging from the skyscraper to another skyscraper popped up on the huge screen as he began.
“I’m sure everyone here knows Spiderman, correct?” he asked the rest of the Avengers only to receive a string of nods and murmurs whereas Tony snorted and said. “Who wouldn’t? The guy was like what? Everywhere! In the newspaper, in the news, Time magazines… So what the deal with this kid?” Tony asked.
Nick Fury eyed Tony before continuing. “As you can see here, gentlemen… Spiderman has been getting on my nerves...” He accused. Before he could continue on, Tony butted in. “So let me get this straight. You want us to check out on Spiderman if he’s on our side or if he’s a threat?” he asked. Nick’s eyebrow twitched as he gave Tony the look before he nodded and went on with the speech. “Yes… Coulson already has the information on where you can find or see Spiderman’s whereabouts. He’s mostly out during the nightfall.” He said.
Tony rolled his eyes at the little information that Nick gave away which he already understood. The two began to have a heated argument. Steve on the other hand ignored the two as he looked down on a piece of brown folder. He flipped it open to read the given info. As far as he could see from the Intel that Coulson handed him and at the newspapers he often read? He could already tell that this Spiderman wasn’t a threat to anyone. To him, it looked like Spiderman was just helping and saving people from minor problems that had been going on the New York street during the night.
“I think this Spiderman isn’t a threat… I mean judging from his background you give us and from what I read from the newspapers….he seems to be less a danger to us. In fact I think he’s doing us a favor by stopping petty crimes.” Steve said, not looking up as both Nick fury and Tony stopped arguing and everyone eyed him. “Well, that might be true but what caught my attention isn’t that. What caught my attention is, about the whole incident with the lizard-creature that had occurred three months ago.” Nick Fury sternly pointed out.
Tony blinked his eyes before saying. “So? What’s about it?” He inquired. “Well…it seems like this guy has more spark in him then we have hoped for.” Nick said, as Phil added. “What he means is…that we first assumed this Spiderman was one of the embryonic superheroes we have encountered in the past. However, it appears he’s not one of those. He’s real thing and that he is more than what we have expected him to be.” Phil said.
“So you want us to-…what? Go and see if this Spiderman could like join the Avengers?” Tony asked, already getting mistrustful of what Nick Fury wanted them to do; to see if Spiderman was worth enough to work beside them. “Yes. I want you and the rest of the Avengers to see if this Spiderman is worth the effort of making him as one of SHILED agents, or one of the Avengers.” Nick Fury alleged. “You’re saying to let this kid become part of the Young Avengers group like the rest of the teenagers you‘ve found?”
“Yes.” Nice commented in a deadpan tone. Tony sighed. “Fine, fine…at least I get to do something rather than idling and doing nothing at home…”
“Good. And one more thing…let me know if you find anything interesting about Spiderman and his location. Keep me up to date and send the information your group finds about Spiderman through Coulson.” the eye-patched man inhaled, “That’s all for today. I’ll let you and the rest of the Avengers handle this. Do whatever you can or have to do. Just get me Spiderman” Nick Fury ordered which made Tony roll his eyes at him but nod his head. “We’ll do what we can, sir.” Steve said before Nick shoo-ed them out of the room.

“Can you believe it? I mean, what are we? Babysitters of Spiderman? Sure the guy has some spark and guts for stopping these petty crimes but that doesn’t mean he’s anything big!” Tony ranted. “To the people on the street; he’s something bigger, more important than us.” Clint said which earn him a weird look from his friend. “What?! Okay well yeah we’re also important but we’re different than this guy.” He moaned.
“That not what you said a moment ago.” Bruce softly whispered.
Clint rolled his eyes. “Whatever, Let’s just head back to the tower and propose a strategy to apprehend Spiderman.”

Peter swung from building to building. It was good that nothing happened and anyone in need for his help but still- ‘Aww…come on, man! Three weeks and still nothing.’ Getting frustrated, he spun another round as he performed his acrobatic movement in the air only to pause for seconds when his Spider’s sense was tangling. His sense screamed for him to move aside and he obeyed wordlessly, moving to the left as an arrow missed him by an inch, passing his right ear.
His head snapped as he turned to look behind him and saw a person with an arrow gripped tightly in his hold. The archer pulled the quiver and discharged the arrow, aiming perfectly at him again. Peter blinked underneath his mask before leaping backward, avoiding of getting hit by the piercing arrow. “Damn! The guy’s good!” Clint blinked as he began to chase Spiderman.
“What?! You missed him?! Ha!” Tony mocked through their connection.
“Shut up Iron Man!” Clint replied. “Guys! Stop it! This is no time for an argument. And Iron Man, stop teasing Hawkeye and get back to work!” Steve commanded. “Gee, Cap, chill down. I’m working on it. So Hawkeye did you finally place the tracking device on Spiderman?” He asked.
Clint went mute for a moment, thinking of a way to explain to his group that he had missed on placing said device on their target. In his defense, the guy was swift in avoiding his tracker-arrow. He sighed and decided to just let them know.
“Actually, I haven’t yet…” He admitted. It was soundless on the other side. It was Tony who broke the odd silence and said. “What do you mean you haven’t placed it yet on the guy?” He asked. “He avoids every projectile! I have no idea how he knows and manages to evade my every attack. It’s like he’s eyes on the back of his head or something. I’m chasing him right now to try it again.” He explained. “Haa! Someone finally beat up Clint? Dude! This is something to--” Before Tony could finish his sentence he was cut off by Steve’s authoritative voice.
“Iron Man, don’t you dare finish that sentence or else you’ll get it. Get back to work you two and no more teasing.” He spoke out as both Tony and Hawkeye nodded their yes though it wasn’t without Tony’s small protest that was ignored by his husband.
Soon Hawkeye had caught up to Spiderman. He saw the guy go and take a detour only to stop near a building. He noticed the kid was looking from right to left, making sure that no one was around or following him. He sighed in relief as he took out his bag behind one of the wooden doors. Hawkeye grinned as he lightly made his way toward Spiderman without making any noises.
Spiderman was about to take off his mask when his advance hearing caught a pad of soft footsteps. He whipped around to study the surrounding until he spotted Hawkeye through the left side. Peter dropped his bag, getting into a defensive position.
Hawkeye perceived that he’d been caught. He tch-ed inaudibly. ‘Is all or nothing, now?’ He thought as he pulled out his bow and arrow, aiming one on Spiderman who noticed it and quickly dodged his attack. He kept shooting his target but his mark sidestepped each of his arrows. ‘Damn! How the heck can this guy be this good?! And how the heck can he see and tell where my arrows are aiming at?!’ he thought.
‘Shoot. It looks like I don’t have a choice but to battle him in close combat!’ he groaned as he put away his weapon and went on and began to attack Spiderman head on. ‘If my arrow won’t work then maybe getting close combat might work in placing the tracker on him.’ He thought.
Spiderman remarked the way Hawkeye was about to assault him. He ducked Hawkeye’s firm attack and stirred sideways.
Hawkeye cursed under his breath. ‘Damn it! He knows how to snake away, huh?’ he discerned, going onward and was about to tackle Spiderman from behind him when Spiderman saw this and moved away, making Hawkeye hit the wall where Spiderman’s bag was dropped. He snapped and thought of an idea when he noticed he was beside Spiderman’s bag and quickly placed the tracker inside the kid’s bag before getting back on pretending to attack Spiderman who continued to escape his multiple offensives.
“Dude! What is up with you villain trying to get at me?! Do I have a sign of ‘come on and get Spiderman’ look on my face?” he snapped and was getting tired of being the target of every villain he had encountered, which by the way only a few people; the Lizard, Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus.
Hawkeye raised an eyebrow at him underneath his shade before saying. “Well sorry pal, but you kind of a distraction that cannot be ignored.” He said. “How the heck am ‘I a distraction to you?! I only want to save and help people.” Spiderman confessed. It amused Hawkeye.
Spiderman eyed Hawkeye warily before asking. “Dude, you’re not one of those cops that after my head aren’t you?” He questioned in start. “What? No! I don’t work with those people. Not that they don’t do their best, but they just kind of suck at it.” Hawkeye babbled before he shook his head and said. “Hey! You’re trying to distract me!” He accused. This made Spiderman raise an eyebrow underneath his guise. ‘What the heck?’ he asked confusedly. “Lovely. No! What do you want from me anyway?” He asked.
“Uh… Capture you and make you join our little group?” Hawkeye said without thinking. Spiderman snorted. “Me? Join your group? Sorry pal but I’m not interested. I’m one of those people who work along. The loner and emo type. So you better find someone else who’s interested in joining your…whatever villain group you people are. Besides, I’m not a bad guy and I’m sure you villains don’t like a good guy like me.” Peter said.
‘Sneaky.’ Hawkeye thought. “Uh… Might I point out that I’m not a bad guy, I’m on your side?” He said. “Oh, really? Then what are you?” Spiderman asked. “I work for SHIELD. An organization who gathers people with the ability like you.” He said.
“Uh… Seriously?! So what you some kind of like the SWAT group or something?” He asked. “…Something likes that… We work for the government--” Hawkeye exclaimed but got cut off as Spiderman quickly said. “No thanks. I don’t like working with the government or becoming one of their dogs who they could order around. So sorry. Find someone else.” Spiderman said as he grabbed his bag and took off, leaving Hawkeye behind dumfounded. “Wait--! Great… He left!” Hawkeye grumbled.
“What?! Dude did you just miss our target again?” Tony asked annoyed that they had yet again missed their target. “Nah, don’t worry... I have placed the device inside Spiderman’s personal bag. You should be able to track him soon enough since I switch the tracker on.” He added.
“Well goody. Time to track Spidey.” He said.
“Spidey?” Steve asked through their communication. “My new nickname for Spiderman since it’s kind of easier calling him that.” He pointed out. “Spidey huh? Great nickname.” Hawkeye said as he supplied. “So? Did you track him yet?” He asked. “Yeah. He’s on the move. Just wait for us there so we can all catch up and find out where his hideout is.” Tony said before informing the rest of the team.
“I’ll just play with my iPhone 'til you guys get here.” He said.
Not a minute later, Iron Man and Captain America - who was being carried by Iron Man – and the rest of the Avengers arrived. Hawkeye looked up at Captain America, “Come on get up so we can catch up to Spidey.” He ordered.
Soon they followed to where Spiderman’s location by through their tracking device which was on Tony’s armor suit as the tracker pin-pointed somewhere near Midtown Science High School. “Huh?! Spiderman stopped around here?” Tony said. “Something’s not right.” He crooned as he double checked his device. Bruce, who reverted back to his normal size and form, saw something near a tree.
“I think I know the problem…” He said as he pointed to where the device was placed, hanging in the center of a tree as the other turned around and looked at what he was pointing at before they blinked in comprehension. “Dammit!” Tony cursed. “Ha?! How the heck did he know where I put that thing?” Clint asked in confusion. “He probably opened his bag to get something and saw the tracker and took it out?” Bruce said. “Now how are we going to find out who Spiderman is now when we can’t find him? Dammit!” Tony cursed again.
“I don’t know? You came up with the idea in the first place.” Clint said as he and Tony began to argue again. “Don’t you think is kind of weir that Spiderman stopped here at Midtown Science high school?” Bruce asked.
“You’re right.” Steve said. “It’s might be that he’s a student here.” Natasha nonchalantly established. “It could be.” Tony had frozen and clogged his argument with Clint at the mention of that. “So… You’re saying that our guy could be none other than a kid?” Tony asked.
“Well, I’m just assuming that he might be.” Bruce said. “The only one way to find out if our guy is nothing but a kid...” Natasha said. “Wait! You think what I’m thinking?” Tony asked as Natasha nodded her head. “It looks like we don’t have a choice but to investigate here tomorrow and see if some of the students look like our target?” She said. “Oh… You guys don’t have to worry about looking for our guy… I know what his bag looks like.” Clint said. Everyone turned to stare at him. “Are you sure?” Steve asked. “Yeah. I remember the color of his bag despite quick and short dispute.” He said.
“Are you sure?” Steve asked just to be said. “It color green with a few pins and stickers.” He said. “That’s good. What kind of stickers and pins were they so it would easier for us to track him down tomorrow morning.” He said. “It was uh…” Clint stopped. Tony snorted. “Oh now you forgot it?”
Clint snapped. “No! I remember what it looks like. It’s just that don’t laugh or freak out?” He asked as they blinked at him. “No…why would we?” Steve asked as Clint sighed before saying it out loud. “His bag was full of Captain American and Iron Man logo stickers and a pin that had ‘I heart Science’ written on it.” He said.
“So the kid is like what? A fan of Cap and Tony?” Bruce asked. “Ha! Did you hear it cap?! The kid loves us!” Tony said. “Iron Man… Knock it off... So what if he’s one of our fans? We still need to capture him and ask him a few questions or so. We should be all up early tomorrow to get here and get our target first thing in the morning, okay?” He ordered.
“Didn’t Coulson say someone encountered Spiderman and helped him find an antidote was a student from here? I remember I read it on the files.” Natasha said. “It’s better if we double check then so we can ask that person as well if he or she knows Spiderman.” Steve said which Natasha agreed.

The earth mightiest heroes dressed in their casual garments, waiting in front of the school for the arrival of their target inside SHIELD’s borrowed vehicle. Clint was monitoring the screen, keeping watch on the backgrounds. “So Tasha, find anything new about the person we’re looking for?” Steve asked while looking outside the window. His husband sighed from the driver seat.
“Yes, this person is a she. Name is Gwen Stacy, working for Oscorp as a part time job and also the one who made the antidote and gave it to Spiderman to stop the Doctor Connor from succeeding with his plan.” She explained. “Oh. How does she look like?” Steve asked. “That--…ahh, talk about the devil.” She grinned as she pointed to a girl who walked towards the school, wearing a white sleeve with black stripes and a black mini skirt. Her hair loosened freely and she strode gracefully on her black boots.
Tony whistled which earned him a glare from his husband who was sitting next to him. “What?” Tony asked innocently. Steve just continued to glare at him. Tony rolled his eyes at Steve’s covetous attitude. “Hey guys! We’ve found our guy!” Clint called. They shifted their attention outside, eyes never leaving the figure of a tall, scarily slender boy who was following Gwen Stacy from behind like a puppy in love. The boy was about 5’10 feet tall, in a dark t-shirt underneath his darkish hoodie jacket, adorned with black pants and a pair of old worn sneakers. His bag dangled behind him whilst he was on his skateboard.
“…so that’s our guy?” Tony asked as they watched Peter heading towards the school. “Yup.” Clint said. “Might as well ask students later between or after school?” Steve probed. “Good idea, cap.” Natasha got out of the car as everyone turned to stare at her. “What are you doing Tasha?” Tony’s brows contorted.
“I’m going inside and ask the principal for an interview with Gwen Stacy. I’ll tell them that I’m a FBI or CSI, trying to investigate the incident that happened in this school three months ago. I’m sure it’s the closest thing I can get to talk to Gwen Stacy if she knows Spiderman.” She said as she didn’t allow Tony to finish. She straightened her back and headed towards the destination.
“Now what are we going to do?” Tony asked. “Hmm… Maybe I could also do the same with Natasha? Ask the principal for our target to get him some internship or something? I’ll might be able to get some info out of him that way in a nice way?” Bruce said. “Good idea, Bruce Oh and can you put this thing on so that we can know what’s going on in there too while you talk to the kid?” Tony wiggled as he handed him a wireless-ear set, a small camera for them to know what was going inside. Bruce nodded his head before getting out of the car and joined the Black Widow.

Natasha glanced around the hallway. She noted the students were talking among each other before she spotted the principal in a deep conversation with a male student. The moment they were done, she made her way toward him. The headmaster of the school saw her making a beeline towards him. “Yes? What can I do for you ma’am?” He asked. “Ah, yes. I’m Detectives Romanoff.” She said. The man’s eyes squinted “What can I do for you, Detective?” He asked. “I’m here to ask about the incident three months ago? I actually work for the CSI-” Here, Natasha showed off her proficiently fake-designated badge, “-and they want me to investigate one of your students that was involved with the incident at Oscorp. If I’m not mistaken, she worked there as her part time job. And I think her name was--” She was interrupted by the man.
“Ah… I see you’re here to ask a few questions with Miss Stacy? There were already police officers asking her about it. I’ll see what I can do to call her to my office so you can see her for yourself." He said. “Ah, that would be great and thank you sir.” Natasha said. “No problem ma’am. Now let’s head to my office, you can wait for her there while I’ll go get Miss Stacy from her class.” He said as Natasha nodded. They walked straight towards his office.
They got inside the office as the principal let Natasha sit on one of the chairs. He excused himself to go and get Miss Stacy. Just then there was a knock on his door as he said. “Yes?” He asked once the door slightly ajar. His secretary’s head peaked in, informing “Sir, Mr. Banner’s here to see you.” She said. The principal frowned before saying. “Let’s him in, Tina.” He gestured. Once Bruce stepped inside, Natasha sent a ‘what are you doing here’ glance. Bruce shrugged weakly, sending a calm nod her way.
“Ah, what can I do for you Mr. Banner?” He said as both Natasha and Bruce looked up at him. Bruce snapped and remembered what he aimed to do and said. “I’m here to ask if I can interview some of your honor students for an invitation of intern scholarship, sir.” he hurriedly added. “I was actually told by Mr. Tony Stark to find him a brilliant student to work in his company.” He explained. “I thought that Mr. Stark wasn’t interested in those?” The principal asked.
“He had a change of mind and thought of it as ‘Why not try’ thing sir.”
“Very well. I could give you a few lists of our honor students here that might interest you…” He said as he went to pick up a thick folder with student grade background. “Thank you. That would be great. Does the student have pictures of them so I may know who I’m looking or dealing with sir.” He said.
The principal nodded in understanding before he went to pick up a second file with photos of chosen students, handling it to Bruce. “Here they are. You can look them up and just come back later or anytime when you have picked one, and I might call them for you so you can interview them." He brushed the bridge of his nose.
“Okay… I’ll be just outside to look this over with and call you when I’m done. Mr. Stark had only told me to pick the best student I see fit to work for him.” With that, Bruce left the room but not before he heard the headmaster made a call for Gwen Stacy.
-0-
Gwen was confused. There was a sudden call for her from the office even though she hadn’t done anything lately. Heck, she hadn’t done a single wrong thing at all. Once she arrived, Gwen knocked on the door. “Sir, you call me?” She heard the principal telling her to get in. Inside, the man wasn’t alone. There sitting was a woman with a fiery hair, a strange look on her face. She turned to look at her. “Ah, Miss Stacy, glad that you made it. I like you to meet Agent Romanoff. She works for the CSI and wants to talk to you about the incident occurred three months ago.” He said.
Gwen eyed Natasha suspiciously before saying. “Okay.” She said. “Good. I shall let you talk in another private room. Miss Stacy I’m sure you can show Miss Romanoff to where it is?” He questioned. Gwen bobbed, leading Natasha out of the office as the two went to another room. “So Miss Romanoff, what would you like to ask me about?” She asked. “Well I’m here to ask you a question regarding the Lizard. We notice that you seem to know Spiderman and we would like to know if you have anything do with it or if you somehow know him or work alongside with him?” She asked.
“Oh…I’m sorry but I really don’t know who he is. He just came up to me one time and asked me for the antidote to cure and stop Doctor. After that I just handed him the formula when I was done making the antinode. He just wandered off and I never see him.” Gwen squeaked.
“Is that all?” She asked.
“Yes...”
“Okay… Can I ask one more thing? It is said here in your statement that you and Mr. P…Peter Parker has been seen hanging out lately and some of your friends said that I should ask you if he was involved. They said you only interact with this kid.” She said.
“Oh...” Stacy said in a small voice before saying. “I…Peter doesn’t have anything to do with this. He’s not even involved. They might think that since he always gets himself in trouble but really he doesn’t even know that I met with Spiderman. He’s one of my classmates that I felt sorry for and helped since he’s always getting picked. After that we become friends. Really he wasn’t involved with anything at all. He was at home when that whole Lizard thing happened. He told me that he was studying at that time.” She said.
“Very well.” Natasha said. “Is that all? Because I really should be getting back to my classes.” She said. Natasha nodded. “Yes, that’s all you can go now.”
Gwen excused herself as she went out. ‘Hmm… I wonder? I think it is also better to talk and interview this Peter Parker to see if anything suspicious that can lead me to believe that this Parker kid is our Spiderman.’ Natasha gathered her stuff. She stopped short when she looked at the photo of Peter Parker the Agent had sent her.
She couldn’t help it. That kid had the same name as the nephew they had lost a long time ago and she couldn’t help but feel disappointed at herself for not trying to look hard for Peter all those years ago. ‘If our Peter was still alive I’m sure that he was about the same age as this Parker kid.’ She thought before sighing and getting out of the room. There was no point in agonizing about it.

When Bruce was done, his eyes caught a photo of one ‘Peter Benjamin Parker’ and couldn’t help but to read and look over at his files, and to his surprise, the kid was really smart despite his outer appearance. Never judge a book by its cover, eh? He was a straight A’s student. Bruce got up and went back to the office. “I have already picked a student and I would like to interview Mr. Parker since he caught my attention. The child is quite smart and I would like to see if he is more than that. He’s the only one that stands out the most.” He said. The principal winced at the mention of Peter.
“Oh him?” He said before sighing. “Sir? Is there a problem that I should be aware about this child?” Bruce tilted his head. “Ah. No. Yes Peter is a great choice. It’s just that I don’t think you might want to pick him as a student. His attitude is a little too much.”
“I won’t know that unless if I see him for it myself. I’d be the judge whether if he is the one or not.” Bruce solidified. “Very well. I shall tell my secretary to patch Mr. Parker right away Mr. Banner.” He said.
“I’ll wait here then.”

It was Peter turn to be confused when he was called to the principal office as he followed Ms Tina towards the office. When he was in, he saw not only their principal but someone else. On the chair sat a man, wearing a purple sleeve shirt, brown pants and office shoes. “Ah. Parker. Have a sit.” His principal declared. He blinked his eyes before sitting down. “You called for me sir?” Peter asked.
“Mr. Banner here would like to interview you about an internship.” He said.
“Internship? But I didn’t request for any internship, sir.” He stated.
“Mr. Banner here is looking for a student to offer an internship.” He said. “Um… May I ask why?” Peter asked as he added. “And why me? I mean they probably have plenty of students here that are legible. So why me?” He asked. “Mr. Banner has taken an interest in your grade and-” The principal said but was cut off as Bruce cut in.
“You’re the only one stands out from the rest. I mean I did look at the other students and their grades however yours was the only one I deem worth it.” Bruce clarified.
“Wow… I mean I don’t know whether to be flattered… I…”
“If you want we can talk more? I was actually here to interview a student that I see fit to take an Internship for the Stark Industry.” He said.
Peter was dumbstruck “Wait! Stark Industry?! As in the one and only Stark industry?!” He asked. Bruce chuckled at the kid’s expression and said. “Ah. Yes…you see Mr. Stark wishes for me to find a better…student for him to take in with…as an internship…err…offer?” He stuttered.
“I would love to try for the internship after-” Peter said.
“Well that good to hear. Sir, may Peter be excused for the rest of the class for today? It seems that I’ll be interviewing him the whole day.” Bruce verbalized. “Of course not at all. I’ll inform the rest of Peter’s teachers and let them know.” The principal said.
“And may I take Peter somewhere else for our interview?”
“I won’t mind so long as Peter would let me know if he has made his decision so that I can let his guardian know of this great offer.” The principal said. ‘Guardian?’ Bruce thought. “Shall we take this somewhere else Parker?”
Peter nodded.
“If you want we can take this at the basketball gym since there won’t be any practice for today.” Peter notified. Bruce agreed as the two headed out. (Yes! Way to go, Bruce!) Clint voice could be heard through the intercom. Bruce couldn’t help but to grin silently in his head while following Peter to the gym.
Unknown to peter he was heading right under their trap.

Chapter Text
Chapter 2
They made it to the basketball gym; the place was completely empty from any students, just as Bruce had preferred. With a beat, Bruce pulled out Peter’s files, flipping it open on his laps. “Let’s see, it’s said here you revel in Science? In fact, your science subject seems to be the only one with the highest score, remarkably I might add.” Bruce smiled. “Well, I love science like really, really love it.” Peter chirped.
“So I take it you’re going to take science course when you get to collage?” Bruce queried. “Yes. I’m still thinking whether I’ll be taking Genetic or Biochemistry or Mechanist or Physics course or-” Peter blushed when he realized he was rambling.
“I think whatever it is you decide it doesn’t matter. You’re smart enough and that is more than enough for you to take the internship Mr. Stark would like to offer.” Bruce explained. “So what else do you want to know about?” Peter asked. “Family’s background… if it’s, okay?”
“It’s fine. I don’t actually have parents anymore. Well I used to have them but they died in a plan crash when I was seven. My Uncle Ben just died about three months ago in an incident. The only family member I have left is my Aunt May. I’m the only child…” Peter scratched the back of his head. (Poor kid) Bruce heard Steve say through the intercom. “Forgive me for asking such matter then.” Bruce actually meant it. Peter shrugged before saying.
“It’s okay. So what else?” Peter asked.
“Hobbies?”
“Does it really necessary?” Peter blinked.
Bruce studied Peter’s expression. “Not really. However, it would be better to know more about the person who is about to work for Mr. Stark. Just for precaution.” Bruce shrugged. “O-kay.” Peter said awkwardly. “Hobbies huh? I don’t really have any exciting hobbies expect for skateboarding, inventing stuff and reading. That’s about it.”
“Inventing? Like what exactly?” Bruce asked. He was interested to know about this one. Peter’s face lit up, probably in excitement more than the fact that he was exhilarated to know that someone curious of the things he built. It was first. Peter shouldered his stance before he began telling Bruce the countless of tiny to medium things he’d created for the past years since he was a child.
(He can invent things? Damn! This kid is a big deal! I want him as my scholarship! As my student! Dude--) Tony voice could be heard from their communication. “That’s astounding.” Bruce said proudly with a smile. ‘If our Peter was alive and this smart, I would be proud of him.’ Bruce thought. “Thanks.” Peter sheepishly said. “It also listed here that you often become the victim of bullying?”
Peter scowled before sighing. “It’s not like I want to be picked. It’s high school. If you’re not on the top of the food chain, you’ll become the laughing stock. It’s either one of these.” Peter said. Bruce knew if Steve was here, the man wouldn’t just let this slide. The Captain disliked bullies.
“I-…I’d assume so. Well then, shall we continue?” Bruce smiled a half-heartedly smile.
They spent almost an hour exchanging questions and answers and Bruce noticed how a pink flush made its way to Peter’s cheeks when the name Gwen Stacy entered their conversation. Teenage crush, I presume. He fixed his glasses, letting the boy talk in his own pace. It wasn’t like Bruce was going anywhere and the boy was bright in his own way it made things even more interesting. It was a bonus.
When they were done, silence filed the room. Bruce tapped his finger on the list board, throwing a glance at the boy before stating his decision. “I think you’ll do.” He said.
“Huh?” Peter made a confuse look. “Congratulation Peter, looks like you just passed the test.” He said. Peter’s eye widened in disbelief. “Really?! Does this mean I’m in? Does that mean I get the internship?” Peter felt like smacking himself. Okay, it was obvious he got it. No need to repeat stupid questions. Bruce chuckled at it. “So…when do I start?” He asked.
“I’ll call or inform you through your mail…” Bruce said which made Peter look in surprise. “Y-You know my Email and cellphone number?” He asked a little shadily. “No, but your school has it I presume.” Peter titled his head before remembering the school did have it in case of emergency. “Oh right. You might want my new number since I kind of busted my old one.” Peter said as he handed the man his new number.
“Thank you; I’ll inform you when I get the approval from Mr. Stark.” Bruce stood up from his seat, bidding the boy farewell. Not turning back to see Peter making weird happy moves.

(Well… That went well. Now, where do we go from here? What if the kid is not actually our guy?) Steve’s voice frantic but the sound was cut off by his husband,
(Relax, babe… I think we can still pull it off. The plan might work if we play it perfectly and carefully.) Tony said and then there were arguments, another short silence and another streak of arguments from both Starks. Bruce would have been worried if not for the fact that he’d known them longer to notice that this was just mere playful banter between the two lovebirds. As always. Bruce noticed Natasha coming out from the principal’s office. She made a gesture with her chin, pointing it to the exit.
It was done. They had wrapped the boy around their scheme. All they needed now was to play it smoothly.
It was Natasha’s turn with the boy.

When students rushed out from the entrance, Natasha’s sharp eyes went through every face and stance before it landed on Peter’s smaller but lean form. Natasha walked towards him with a sleek grace.
“Hello, Peter Parker I’m Agent-”
“Agent Romanoff. Yeah, I know. Gwen told me that you two had a little chat a while ago b-but my answers are the same as hers. I wasn’t involved; I was at home at that time with my aunt May. You can ask her if you don’t believe me.” Half of it was a lie, half it though was not. He was really at home because his aunt May believed so. Or yeah, screw logic and all that.
Natasha raised a brow at that. “Okay…if that is all then I think I need to go then. But are you really honestly sure that you are not in any way involved? Honesty might save your hide.” She pressed. The answer she received was a nod form the boy. “All right. My work is here is done then.” With that, she left.
When she got back to their ride, everyone eyes were on her. “Well? What happened?” Tony asked. The spy just gave them her ‘Not much’ look and ones needed to know when Black Widow gave you that look, it meant you wouldn’t get anything more form her.
“What now? How can we tell if this is our guy or not?” Natasha asked. “Don’t cha worry ‘bout that. Bruce already took care of it.” Clint said with a grin that screamed victory. “Care to dig me in?” The men did just that, with a Cheshire grin plastered on their faces. Except for Steve of course, he looked rather regretful. Like a beaten kitten.

The moment he got home, Peter ran up to his room, ignoring Aunt’s May protest of no running in the house. He sat on the chair and turned on the computer, fingers tapping on the keyboard, searching for any results of Tony Stark offering an internship or anything closer to that. Peter’s eyes puckered into confusion when the results came out empty.
Could it be said that Bruce Banner was working with the guy who attacked him days ago? If it was true, why would they go this far just for one man? Would he play in their twisted game? Should he put himself in harm just for this? Peter inhaled slowly. He could play along, see where this would go. Besides, he was Spider-man. It wouldn’t kill anyone if he joined, right? Right.

Few days later, Peter’s morning was interrupted by a call from Bruce, telling him today was the day where he’d meet Tony Stark and that he should be at Stark tower in an hour. Peter wasted no time, getting ready, taking the train instead of cab – because the road looked crowded with cars today and he didn’t want to be stuck in the traffic – and arriving at Stark tower just in time. He saw Bruce waiting for him at the entrance. “Glad you made it. Why don’t we get inside? We’ll start with what you want to take first.” He said.
Peter blinked his eyes before glancing at Bruce, “Is that really all right? I mean, won’t Mr. Stark be mad or anything?” He asked worriedly.
Bruce dismissed him with a wave. “He won’t mind. In fact, he’s upstairs and wants to meet you first. He wants to test you perhaps. See what you’re capable of. And oh, in case if Mr. Stark’s absence, I’ll replace him, meaning you’ll be having two advisers at one time.” He said with a grin. Peter awkwardly returned it. They went inside the tower, taking the elevator to reach the floor where Tony would be. Once they were inside the elevator, Bruce broke the quiet,
“Did you inform your guardian regarding this internship?”
“No. I don’t want to tell her just yet since I’m not sure if I’m being approved yet. I don’t want to get her hopes up only for it to be crushed down. She- she has a fragile health. So-…yeah.”
“Ah. Fair enough.” Bruce murmured. Soon they made it to the top floor once the elevator door dinged open. Peter looked around his surroundings. He was quite impressed of what Stark’s penthouse looked like from the inside. He had always dream of seeing and getting to meet Mr. Tony Stark. Now he was finally getting to meet the guy and not just that, he was also standing at the very building of Stark Industry. ‘Wow.’ He made a dramatic coo face.
Bruce couldn’t help but to be amused at that. “I know. My first time was the same too. You’ll get used to it sooner or later. Later than sooner, I assume.” He smirked. “Maybe?” Peter hesitantly slurred. Just then Bruce heard familiar footsteps while Peter was dumbstruck at the sight. Walking towards them was none other than Tony Stark himself in all his glory (In that AC/DC shirt of his again) and a familiar blond man (Peter was sure he had seen him somewhere before) following not close behind.
“Hey, big guy.” Tony casually said. “Good morning, Tony, Steve.” Peter heard Bruce say. Peter stared wide eyes at Steve. ‘Steve?! As in the ‘Steve Rogers-Stark?’ Tony Stark’s husband?’ His poor heart couldn’t take any more of these surprises. Steve soon noticed Peter; a smile found its way to his face and Steve was surprised at how genuine it was. “So this is the kid you were talking about.” He beamed. They were doing their act and the plan seemed to be working.
“Ah! Yes…this is…” Bruce hesitated, not wanting to say ‘Peter’. He didn’t want to bring up old memory of what they had lost. “This is P-Peter Parker, Steven. He’ll be working with Tony soon enough once we get his approval.” Bruce said eyeing both Tony and Steve nervously. Tony put up his bravado despite the hidden longing in his eyes. “A-Ah-I see. Hello P-Peter. I’m Steven Grant Rogers-Stark by the way-” Steve stumbled but was cut off by Tony. “My husband.” He finished. “So here he is, the boy who has stolen the entire spotlight since days ago.” He quipped.
If Peter was curious as to why there was hesitation in pronouncing his name, he didn’t show it.
Steve frowned at his husband for cutting him off like that but decided to ignore it. “Peter here is very bright for someone around his age. Science is practically his second life, just like you, Tony.” Bruce quirked his eyes, noticing the way Steve look at Peter. “Oh, don’t worry Steve; Peter is pure and Tony won’t ogle on underage kid.” He jested with a serious expression. Tony barked out a laugh. Peter blushed. Steve glared at the shorter man.
“If you’re sure of it…”Steve sulked.
In a short time, Peter could tell Steve was a strict, going-to-discipline-you-to-death kind of man. He wondered why someone like Tony would tie a knot with someone like Steve. How odd.
“Shall we get it on? I’m sure Peter here is impatient for a tour.”
Soon Peter found him being err- interrogate by Mr. Stark, repeating the same questions just like Bruce did yesterday. The need to know about his family was rather disturbing. He didn’t see the connection between that and the requirement for internship. Steve sent a soft, sad look at the boy whenever Peter mentioned the absence and death of his parents in his life, the incident happened to his uncle Ben and how he was living with his aunt May. Just the two of them. No one else.
Steve, among all of people, would know that feeling. Losing the people he’d loved, like Peggy and Bucky. Especially Bucky because Bucky was always there and he was Steve’s most-…the man inhaled. No point dwelling in the past anymore. “I would like to see how good you are so why don’t we start sooner than later. We’ll do it around…weekend? Sounds good to you?” Tony Asked. Peter bobbed his head repeatedly.
“Good. We’ll start with your first tryout. Sunday, Bruce here will be helping you around. You’ll need it.” The day was spent with another session of interrogating him (Literally) before Tony explained his tryouts and lessons he’d learn from them, from this place and particularly from himself.
Steve on his part couldn’t help but to examine Peter. He noticed the boy had brown hair and his eyes; they looked familiar to him. Sure there were plenty of kids out there with brown eyes and hair but Peter’s shade of auburn was different. It looked exactly like Tony’s. It bothered Steve to no end.
Secretly, Peter was glad this wasn’t a ploy to discover and/or to apprehend Spider-man.
Oh how wrong he was.
-0-
Five months later, Peter still continued being Tony’s intern. Tony found himself wondering why someone like Peter was underrated by his school and fellow teachers. The boy was naturally born genius. Still, he could understand the boy, at least. He would prefer his child experiencing the life of being a normal teenager, despite how smart he was rather to force him to go to a boarding school.
Both science brothers pondered whether this intelligent ran in the family or if the boy’s father taught him. It would explain Peter’s gifted intellectual, obviously. Though, it most unlikely. The boy’s father died when he was a mere child. Tony had to agree. So being smarty-pants ran in the family then.
Along the way, Tony and Steve were getting attached to the boy (something that wasn’t part of the plan at all), opening up and growing worry of the boy. Sometimes being protective of him whenever they saw bruises on the boy, a result from the bullies. In silence, Peter was the son Tony had ever dreamed to have. Thus why he couldn’t help it if the need to pummel whoever hurt Peter somehow overwhelmed him. It was vice versa for Peter. He imagined Bruce as his uncle (No one could ever replace Uncle Ben) and both Starks as his father figures.
Clint on the other hand wasn’t allowed to introduce to Peter yet. If Peter was Spider-man, they didn’t want to take the chance of Peter recognizing Clint as his previous attacker.

Few days later, the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hank Pym and Logan were having a meeting after Tony sent Peter away.
‘Go do something, study, masturbate or whatever. Just do something.’
Steve had decided to have the ‘Avengers Meeting’ with the rest of the members for their opinions about Peter Parker. Clint and Tony were keen that peter was their target. Although they still needed more proof and that was the very reasons why the other superheroes were here. Even after all those months of getting to know Peter, they were still going with their plan.
Yes, Bruce, Steve and Tony did feel guilty for doing this to the boy but mission came first. Besides, if Peter was really Spider-man, Tony could at least try to do something to ease…whatever it was that Fury was planning to do to the kid. The least he could do for the boy. And for the very first time ever, Tony hoped they were wrong. He didn’t want Peter to be Spider-man. He wanted Peter to be just Peter, someone who Tony grew to care.
“You want the entire super-fucking-heroes to have this meeting just for one kid? A kid. I press and repeat, a kid.” Wolverine harshly took the offered drink from Steve. Ahh, liquor. He still felt annoyed and amused at the same time. All this shit just for a noisy kid Logan knew he could cut, cut chop, chop to pieces within seconds. He wouldn’t do that though. Despite popular belief, he had a heart and murdering kids wasn’t his thing.
“Well, yes!” Tony childishly bawled. Clint rolled his eyes. “Cap here keeps making excuses and looking for any holes to prove that this kid isn’t our guy. Of course, we’re talking about Cap here. A man with a giant heart.” Clint berated before continuing. “But I’m totally with Bruce and Tony. The kid is too smart for his own good. And I fought Spider-man. I know how he moves and talks and this Peter is the very epitome of that! Even though Cap still doesn’t agree.”
Clint pointed his thumb to said Captain America, who was nesting himself beside his husband on Tony’s special heart loveseat (Special made just for them both), looking all innocent with his wide blue eyes. Pssh, a mere façade. Clint knew Captain America could kick ass. Steve raised his chin, “What? I mean the kid doesn’t even look like it. He…to me he looks all innocent to pass up as the Spiderman we know.”
Wolverine snorted. Soft hearted people. They irritated the crap out of him. “Seriously? This kid practically screams I’m Spiderman! Your friendly neighborhood hero. The kid is cocky, smartarse, know-it-all and like we all can tell, he has a huge ego just like Tony! Heck, the boy is mini Tony.” Clint flailed his arms around, making weird faces as he explained it to everyone.
Everyone stared at Clint while Tony’s eyebrow twitched. “Mini-me? Are you serious?” Tony glared.
“He does speak and act like you a bit. We have encountered Spiderman plenty of times and let’s just be honest, the kid has a badass attitude, and talkative. He babbles too much. In fact he’s kind of reminds me a lot like you, Tony.” Clint explained.
Tony didn’t know why that comment flared something inside him but it felt as if Clint was implying Peter was like his son and dammit. Tony didn’t want anyone as his son. He wanted his Peter, his stolen little Peter that was taken from them fourteen years ago. No one could ever replace his blood-and-flesh son. Not just some random kid, albeit he came to care of this- this Peter. Plus, he didn’t want to worry Steve by strangling Clint. So he settled down with the lamest excuse,
“I’m sorry, are you trying to compare me to…this kid?”
Clint looked all smug. “It’s the other way around. I’m comparing this child to you since you’re the child of Avengers yourself.”
Sunnawavitch. Calm down, Tony. Calm your eff down. “It’s the same thing!”
A hiss from Natasha shut the archer and the billionaire up. Bruce chortled.
Hank McCoy took that as his chance to speak up, “Is that so? What this kid has anything to do with Spiderman? Judging from Captain America’s description, Peter seems to be a well-behaved kid and outstandingly smart for his age, but it won’t be enough to denunciate him of being Spiderman. You’ll need more than empty words.”
Tony sighed. “I have instructed JAVRIS to record every move Parker does whenever he sets foot in this tower. It won’t be a problem.” Tony ordered JARVIS to play every record to them. A wide white screen blared to live in the middle of the room. Holographic transmission of Peter could be seen within the whole room. Peter; doing projects with Tony, nodding at everything Bruce was telling him, enhancing some of Tony’s firewall systems (Tony didn’t know about this. He blinked at that), inventing his own implements and showing it to Tony, looking all happy and shy at Tony’s approval (Steve smiled. Tony’s gaze softened).
The scene changed into Peter; taking a rest, resting on a couch while listening to whatever it was playing on his music player. Headset on his ears as he tapped his fingers on his knees and- yeah. They could see Tony in the boy. Not just interior but exterior too. Logan grunted, babbling archer was right. The boy really was a mini version of Stark. Gods help them; one Stark was already a pain in the butt.
“See what I mean? The kid acts just like Spiderman from the way he speaks and delivers his speech!” Tony said to everyone.
“It’s too early to tell, Tony. You can’t possibly extricate everything from something like this. None of us have properly met him other than the Avengers themselves. Consequently, we cannot decide this point yet. Moreover, you see him as Spiderman. All I see is a kid mix of you and good Captain here. Other than that, none of these materials are helping or can be used against him. For now, the kid is untouchable.”
Steve looked relatively glad by that statement. Henry noticed this.
Tony had introduced Peter to Pepper. The boy was a bit shy around her at first, stating that it wasn’t every day you could meet a beautiful woman. Pepper laughed at the comment and few days later, those two became the best of friends. Even Pepper pointed out how the boy was similar to Tony.
“It’s kind of creepy how this kid almost looks a lot like you too, Tony. Especially those eyes and—“Johnny spluttered impishly only to be cut off by Henry‘s ‘Shut the fuck up before I feed you my expired strawberry jam’ glare. The human torch was tip-toeing the line by almost bringing up the memory of Tony and Steve’s lost son.
Both Starks were quiet. Eyes never faltered from the screen. From here, everyone would prefer if the two argue rather, better that than this current silent treatment. Johnny was about to say something when the elevator chimed, suggesting someone was about to enter. Bruce instantly pushed (More like punching and kicking) Clint under the table to prevent him from being seen while Tony hurriedly turned off the screen just before the elevator flew open, revealing Peter himself. The boy looked adorably confused.
“Am I interrupting something?”
“No.” Tony said sternly, face serious. “Just having an epic tea party with my epic friends because we’re epic awesome like that.” Everyone threw him a look. Under the table, Clint hissed when his head knocked against the table. Bruce, darn Bruce, had the tendency to kick him in the shin. The beast! If he was a puppy, Clint would have bitten his leg and then Bruce would turn into a Hulk and then they would have Hulk versus puppy!Clint fight. Clint huffed.
“I-…see…well if you’re busy I’ll just ask you later.” Peter made a move to press the button when Tony’s voice stopped him. “No! Wait! It’s okay. What do you need?” Tony asked.
“I…yeah. I was going to come here and… Well…ask you a favor?” He asked a little bit shy and nervous since Tony’s entire friends were eyeing him like he was something they wanted to dissect and study. “Favor? Oh! Sure kid. You can always ask me anything. So what is it?” Tony asked, a little edgy. “Oh… I was just going to…uh… I was going to ask if…you can sign this for me...” Peter fidgeted, producing a paper and showing it to Tony.
“I.. Well…my school is having a field trip next weekend and…I kind of forget to tell you. I know I have my Aunt to do that but she’s out of town for a few couple of days. I don’t have anyone to sign this for me…The teacher want us to at least have our parents or any guardians to sign this paper to allow us to go. And I really, really want to go it’s just that…well…” Peter said nervously.
Tony waves his hand at him and said. “It’s okay, I get it. And yeah, I’ll sign this for you.” He cooed as he pulled out a pen and signed the paper before handed it back to Peter. Tony didn’t miss the sparkly lit in Peter’s eyes as Peter grinned at him and said. “Thank you, Mr. Stark! I owe you for doing this for me. I wanted my aunt to sign this in the first place for me but since she’s out of town, I couldn’t possibly ask it from her.” He said, now beaming. Tony couldn’t help but to feel something inside him explode with glee and warm. Darn it, he really did care about this boy.
“Hey, it’s okay. So your Aunty May is out of town for a while huh?” He asked to which Peter nodded his head. “Yeah. Something about going to a flower camp, old people stuff, with her fellow friends for a couple of days. Thought I don’t mind. I mean Aunty May has the right to go through that camp after uncle Ben’s…you know, died—” Peter said but was cut off as someone said. “Ben, May? Ben and May Parker as in Richard Parker’s sister-in-law?” Reed asked, surprised. It was just a bet because there was tons of couple out there with the wife’s name as May and husband as Ben but-…Peter turned and nodded his head towards Richard. “Y-Yeah… You knew my dad?” He asked. Richard nodded his head.
“Yes Richard and I went to the same academy together before we went on our separate way. The last time I saw him when he was married to his wife Mary Parker. But I didn’t know he had a kid, much less a son.” Richard Reed was now interested about this. He knew his former college friend had died years ago. He was there at their funeral, and was able to meet Ben and May but there wasn’t any sign of Peter there. “I was at their funeral and was able to meet with your aunt. They never mentioned about the couple having a son before.” Richard said, looking suspicious. “Oh?...” Peter said in a small voice before stuttering.
“Well… I guess it must have slipped their mind with…the news of…my parents’ death and all...” Peter said, clearly didn’t want to talk anything about his parents. Reed realized and backed away from the conversation slowly.
“Of course. So you’re my dear friend’s son huh? I’m Richard Reed, by the way and you are?” He asked friendly. Out of courtesy despite already knowing Peter’s name. Peter smiled at that and chuckled. “It’s funny how you and my dad share the same name. I’m Peter. Peter Benjamin Parker, sir.” He said. He didn’t see the rest of the Avengers’ shock face (Clint was so surprised he banged his head against once again by accident) and their small gasp as he shook hand with Richard Reed, who looked in astonishment but didn’t show it. “A-ah. Nice to meet you Peter. It’s an honor. You do have your father’s smart.” He said.
“Yeah. You too. Well then…I think I should go now. Farewell. Oh, and bye, Mr. Stark! See you on Monday night sir, and sorry about ruining your reunion.” Peter apologized before running back to the elevator, got inside and pressed the close button.
The surprise look on everyone’s faces still didn’t deter. Except for Logan of course. He looked blank from the moment Peter came in and left . “That was stupidly something.” He harrumphed. “T-Tony… Is this the reason why you won’t tell us this kid’s name? Was it because he shared the same—” Henry couldn’t continue when Tony interjected.
“I…yes… But hey! It’s okay. I don’t mind. It’s just that. We’re worried that you guys would react badly if you found out.” Tony enlightened. It made everyone glance at each, clearly worried for their friend.
Pointing out here that Logan didn’t give a damn rat ass about everything. He just wanted more drink.
“This is odd.” Everyone turned to the flexible man. “What’s odd, Richard?” Tony asked.
“No, it’s just as far as I know Richard Parker and his wife had been trying to conceive a child for a long time now. Mary couldn’t have a child. She was barren. I know this because Mary was one of Susan’s friends and she kind of confided to her about this. Like I said, it’s odd this Peter was their kid. Not just that, the boy didn’t uphold his parents’ outer appearances. As far as I know, both Richard and Mary’s side of the family are mostly blondes with blue eyes.” Reed said.
“They could have adopted him, I guess?” Clint said. “Maybe…but Mary had told Richard it wasn’t a good idea to adopt a child due to their work despite them trying to have a child of their own.” He added. “Wait! What was their job?” Tony asked, getting a little apprehensive as well. “They were specialized researchers.” He arched a brow, and then he paled when he realized something. None of them liked the look that marred Reed’s face. “Oh hell no. Don’t tell me…however, he can’t mean that he…” Richard lessened.
“Just get to the point!” Tony forced.
Richard hesitated before saying. “I feared that he might have somehow stolen the child from somewhere and raised it as their own? Or at least that’s how it looks like.” He said. “What are you talking about that they might steal a child from someone—” Tony declared, and then it was all clicked in his head in comprehension.
“Son of a bitch!” Tony screamed and started rampaging.
TBC.

Chapter Text
Chapter 3
It took everyone four hours to stop Tony from rampaging everything and everyone. He finally calmed down and was now in their bedroom, sitting down on the bed while watching a recorded video of Peter doing his stuff in Tony’s lab alone with him. The boy looked somewhat happy, enjoying some time with the legendary Tony Stark. Everyone drifted out from the tower once Tony had finally eased down from his prominent temper and asked Steve if they were still going to continue the meeting tomorrow. Steve looked at him for seconds before he stated that they would, after Tony finally regained his composure back.
Steve went outside, returning minutes later with a tray of two mugs of warm milk. He heaved and leaned his shoulder on the door, looking at Tony who was watching footage of his time with Peter. Steve was getting worried for his husband, of his husband, hoping that Tony hadn’t lost his mind. Tony was doing just fine for these past few years. Well, not that fine. They were still having problems regarding their relationship - the distance between them lately - and trying to avoid the other was just getting out of hand. And Steve, dear poor Steve, was at his limit, worrying over Tony all those years ago and it still didn’t change even now.
“Tony. We need to talk.” Steve said as he walked towards their bed, placing down the tray on the nightstand table. He turned to face Tony to lay a hand on Tony’s knee to get his attention.
The small touch made his husband turn to face him. “Talk about what Steve?” he pathetically asked.
“About what happened just an hour ago…? You totally went wild. Want to tell me what’s going on?” Steve cooed gently.
“You heard what Richard said, right?” Tony asked.
Steve wasn’t stupid. He had heard what Richard mentioned about Parker’s parents. “But we don’t know that. We don’t know if that’s true, that they might be the ones who stole our son. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that—“Steve explained but was cut off by Tony.
“That what? That their Son Peter has the same name as our little Peter? Just a coincidence that they had a son, a child out of the blue? Didn’t you hear what Richard said? He told us Mary; Peter’s mother couldn’t have a baby. She was infertile. Maybe yes, Mary had told her husband that they didn’t want to adopt a child before, because of their job.”
Tony went on but Steve cut his rambling off. “I know that, but maybe they or she might have changed her mind and adopted a baby boy that looked so much a lot like—“Steve twitched when Tony interrupted his string of words. It looked like it was habit now, not letting the other to finish their sentence.
“Steve, there are only one to ten percent of people who have the same looks but are not by any chance, related by birth or by blood, and you know that’s rare to happen!” Tony pointed out. Steve was silent by the statement. Okay, so maybe Tony had a point.
“Tony, we’re not even sure if this Peter Parker is our lost child. Do you think Peter’s parents would do such a thing to us? Don’t you remember Peter once told us that his aunty was a lovely family he has left? She told him his parents loved him dearly even though they’re not alive anymore. And judging by how he sounded when he explains it to us, I doubted Mr. and Mrs. Parker would do anything immoral.” Steve supplied.
“I don’t know Steve. I doubt Peter’s parents were around when he needed them. Didn’t Richard say that his parents were both professional genetic scientists? I don’t doubt that they somehow used our son as their sick experiment when they had him. And it’s sounded suspicious when his parents died in a plane crash!” Tony said.
“What are you talking about?! Are you saying that his parents didn’t die in a plane crash by accident? That someone might have—“Steve stopped in the mid-sentence, paling at the thought crossing his mind.
Tony noticed the look on his husband’s face. “See? Now even you begin to see what I’m thinking…” Tony said.
“B-But Tony! We don’t even know if what you’ve said is true. We don’t even have a proof to steel our claims it!” Steve protested.
“Steve! We do have a proof! Peter is that proof! And I can’t believe you don’t want to believe this Parker’s kid might be our lost child! Don’t you want to have our son back?” Tony snapped.
“What?! Of course I do! You don’t know how many times I wish we could go back in time and prevent our son from being taken from us! You have no idea how many times I wish that we had our son back in our arms safe and sound!” Steve snapped back.
“If it so then why won’t you have faith in me? Peter Parker might be our son! Everyone said Peter almost look and act like me. Don’t you even remember what our precious little son looks like, Steve? Cause I sure as hell do! I can never forget the beautiful brown hair and the eyes our son has! The little, pinch-able nose, the same shape of eyes just like mine, pale, beautiful skin, and that red birthmark on the back of his left arm? I remember every detail on what our son apparently looks like Steve! Don’t even tell me that it might be a coincidence that Parker has the same birthmark as our son! I saw, you saw, we both saw that the kid has the same birthmark on the back of his left arm when he lifted his sleeve shirt at that time in the lab. Steve, I’m a hundred percent sure this is not a pure coincidence.” he pleaded.
Steve was hushed.
“If you have nothing to say, then let me handle this!” Tony forced out.
It snapped Steve from his catatonic state. “What do you mean by that? What are you up to Tony?” he asked his husband who began to get out of the bed and went to the phone beside his small office table he had in their bedroom and picked it up. He began to dial a number.
“I’m going to call the rest of the Avengers and tell them that we will have another meeting tomorrow. We will have a new mission to do; we have no choice but to abandon plan B and go to plan C.” Tony said which confused Steve.
“Plan C?!” Steve asked.
“Yes, plan C! I want some of our Avengers members to go and investigate anything that have to do with Richard and Mary Parker! I’ll list things for them to do tomorrow on our new mission.” Tony muttered the last part.
“Tony! Wait! What about your job as Peter’s mentor?” he asked.
A soft smile graced Tony’s face as he said, “I’ll still continue to be his teacher. And don’t worry, I did give Peter two days off from our project and lesson so that he can have some time with his friends to hang out with once in a while. I’m not that cruel to a child Steve. I know that they too need some break once in a while.” Tony said as he added, “So there’s no need to worry about us having another meeting tomorrow.” Tony began typing something on the computer they had in their bedroom. Steve watched Tony as he began to talk to whoever it was at the other side of the line.
Everything was now a mess. The plan they were working went smoothly a few months ago up until Richard mentioned about the Parker’s couple life history. He had hoped that Tony was right, that this Peter might be their long lost son they’d been looking for years, because if it wasn’t? Then there would be hell to pay. He didn’t want to see his Tony break down again like before. He hated it when Tony was a mess. He wanted his Tony, the Tony he loved. Who was always with smiles and jokes around like before, who secretly was a loving person whenever they were alone. He wanted that Tony to come back to him, and he could only hope, that maybe, just maybe, bringing back their lost son would return everything to the way it used to be. Steve could only hope and pray for it.

Peter got home looking all wrapped up in happiness as he went upstairs in his bedroom and jumped on his bed. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed a familiar number. He waited for the person on the other side of the phone would pick it up, it took three rings and finally the person picked his call and answered it. “What is it, Peter?” a person’s voice toned.
“You can’t guess just happy I am right now, Harry!” Peter’s voice boomed.
“No shit, Sherlock. I wouldn’t know if-- what is it?” Harry said, sounding not so amused.
Peter snorted. “Yeah, well, guess what? I get to go to that field trip next Saturday!” He cheered as the phone went death silent for a while until Harry’s boom (not literally though) of distrust could be heard throughout the receiver.
“No kidding?! Who signed your approve signature? I’m sure it couldn’t be your Aunty May since I know I was there when she went out to that flower camp!” Harry asked.
“Well, who else? It’s none other than the great Tony Stark!” Peter said. Peter could hear something falling out of their bed or something on the other side of the phone as he blinked his eyes in confusion. “Harry?” he asked.
“I’m fine! I’m fine.” Harry said.
“Did you just fall of out of your bed or something?” Peter asked.
“Ah no… I just… Uh…fell off from my chair…?” Harry told his friend in a small tone.
“What? You like what? Lying down on your chair?” Peter asked in amusement.
“Uh…” Harry said. It was quiet all of a sudden and then Harry could hear Peter laugh. “Ha ha, very funny, Peter.” Harry said in his I’m- not-so-amused voice as he added, “But seriously. How did you even manage to get Mr. Tony Stark to sign that paper? Or are you just joking with me? Cause I find it so not funny, Peter.” Harry warned.
When Peter finally calmed down from his laugher, he replied, slowly explaining to Harry about the whole Intern things as both boys talked throughout the whole night.

The next day in the morning the Avengers had another ‘Meeting’ with the rest of the members, but this time Ben of Fantastic Four and Henry McCoy, with Dr. Strange were there at Tony’s conference room. Tony was standing at the center, with a glass of wine in his hand, taking a small slip before putting it down at the table, looking up at everyone who in return were staring back at him with that weird stare of theirs.
Tony crossed his arms before continued on. “Before we go on our meeting, I would like to apologize to everyone about yesterday for my outburst. I’m not crazy or anything, if you guys were thinking that. But seriously who wouldn’t react like that and go on rampage when you found out that—“ Tony was about to initiate his rants and talk nonsense when Steve groaned loudly. Tony took that as his cue to shut up and just go straight to the point.
“Okay, right, I’m sure none of you want to me gossiping about my sob life.” He rolled his eyes at everyone. They snorted at him in return. “The thing is I wanted to apologize to everyone about yesterday… And Reed? No hard feelings, okay? I didn’t mean to snap out like that yesterday…” Tony said as Reed cut him off.
“No. It’s okay. What are we about to do for today Mr. Stark?” Reed asked.
“About that, we are gathering here today for a new mission.” he said as everyone began to listen carefully. “Our new mission will be to initiate plan C. We are going to try and investigate Mr. and Mrs. Parker. I’m going to have to divide everyone into—“ Tony said but was cut off when Clint butted in and asked.
“Wait! What about our plan B?” he asked.
Tony sighed before saying. “We don’t have a choice Hawkeye. Plan C is more important right now.” he said.
“Wait? So we’re just going to abandon plan B?!” Clint screeched.
“What the heck is our plan B anyway?” someone asked, mostly Logan who was confused about the whole thing in the first place. And why weren’t they discussing something far more important such as the outer creatures attack, the possibility of the end of the world –or something along that line? Instead they were, looking up for a…what? A deceased married couple? For what? They weren’t even gathered for anything big. He was only here because he owed that damn Captain America.
Tony sighed in frustration at he was being interrupted. “Plan B was supposed to be ‘us trying to or make Spiderman to join our group’ not my idea it was Nick Fury’s idea.” Tony shrugged.
“We could still do the plan B after we done doing whatever plan C is supposed to be if that’s okay with everyone?” Henry McCoy suggested.
Tony thought of it before nodding his head. “We could do that… Now for our new mission. Good, now let’s start with our plan. I want each one of you to divide into four groups. Now. Here are the groups. Group one would be: Me, Steve, Reed Richards and Bruce Banner. Group two will be Henry Pym, Henry McCoy and Ben. Group three will be Janet Van Dan, Susan Richards, Natasha and Jenifer Walters. Group four will be: Dr. Strange, Clint, Thor and Johnny Strom and John Blaze. Group five will be: Mathew Murdock, Brain Braddock, Francis Castiglione and Logan.” Tony said as he looked at everyone for their agreement.
Everyone (minus the Avengers) was still under the impression that this dead couple had left something to harm the world’s peace.
“Now for our new mission is to investigate all about Mr. and Mrs. Parker, no hard feelings again Reed, but this couple has been bugging me since yesterday the moment you mentioned about them unable to conceive children. I might have a hunch that they might be the people who stole our little Peter.” Tony said but stopped short, looking up to study everyone’s reaction. He could only find calmness and quirk of brows.
Everyone (minus the Avengers) thought that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad really, doing a small thing like looking for someone’s long lost son. It was a rest from the ‘saving the world’ mission. They could indulge the Avengers this time.
Logan was secretly like: ‘Why the hell I’m in this?’ But yeah, things people did for their friends.
“Now the group one would be going to the couple’s former work place to investigate there and see if you could find any lead or whatever we could find that could lead us to Peter’s real history or if his-…Mine and Steve lost kid.” Tony stopped short at the mention of the name and the reason for this mission before shaking his head. He tried not to get sentimental.
“Okay group two will be the one doing a research. Anything you can find regarding Mr. and Mrs. Parker. For group three, the girls will be the ones to go around each neighborhood to where Peter Parker lives and ask them about anything that has to do with the Parker’s family background. Group four’s duty is to babysitting Peter—“
“What?! Hey! That’s not fair!” Clint protested.
Everyone (minus the Avengers) rolled their eyes at Clint. Nothing was fair now since they were going to do intense, ridiculous things just to look for a long lost boy and to reunite him with his parents.
“Well, sorry Clint but I need someone to at least keep an eye on Peter Parker’s every move from going to school and to where he hangs out with his friends. I find that job suits your group! Now for group five, you’ll be getting some evidence at SHIELD about Peter Parker or his parents’ profiles background. If SHIELD has any of it, if not then group five can join with group three. Oh and if Nick Fury asks about anything if we have news about Spiderman? Tell him that we are still working on, got it? Good! So that’s it, and let’s move it people. We’re going to start doing this plan starting right now!” Tony said.
Steve was proud of his husband (even if he thought it was too much. With all the dividing groups and performing things people such as they didn’t usually do). Sure, Steve was the leader of the Avengers and the one who inclined in giving orders to everyone around and his husband might be just his second-in-command but that didn’t mean Tony couldn’t handle or didn’t know how to be a leader to replace Steve when the time called for it. It looked like all the hard work of teaching his husband about leadership had finally paid off.
“You hear what the boss said people? Get out there and find any information you can about the Parker’s family background,” Steve ushered. Soon everyone finally went with their given job. Clint silently sulked and pouted while going towards out with his new group four on babysitting Peter Parker while the team two: Henry Pym, Henry McCoy and Ben started their research on the Stark tower’s main computer lab, which was below the thirty-third floor.
Everyone (minus the Avengers) thought it could be worse than this. Then again, they didn’t want to jinx themselves.

Group five was at SHIELD headquarters, looking around inside though mostly in the lab or in the information room where they began to search for any documentations or forms about the Parker couple. They found a few on the main computer and grabbed it before heading out. However, Nick Fury was passing by their hallway and inquired them about Spiderman. Their answer was a simple ‘No, not yet’. Nick Fury gave them a suspicious glare as they went out of the SHIELD basement then went back to Stark tower.
Group four was inside their van (the one they borrowed from SHIELD, again). They parked just outside one of Peter Parker’s house. They kept an eye on the boy’s movement. It was a good thing that Steve had goaded Peter into giving him his address in case of emergency. Soon they saw Peter, getting out of the house, locking the front door while talking to someone on his cellphone. Just then a car stopped in front of Peter.
“Hey Peter!” the person said as Peter looked up and smiled.
“Hey, Harry!” Peter reacted.
“Hop in and let’s go.” Harry said.
“Wait! What about Gwen and MJ?” he asked.
“Gwen’s already texted me and told me that she wanted us to meet them both at Starbucks.” Harry said as he added, “So I told her that I would go and be the one to pick you up.” Harry said.
“Ah? Okay, yeah sure let’s go.” Peter gave up as he entered the car. The team was following the car from behind.
The girls; Jane, Susan, Natasha and Jenifer, were at Peter Parker’s house. The girls watched Peter get inside the other kid’s car and drove off, noting that group four was tailing not far behind. The girls then parked somewhere near and got out of the van to begin their mission.
They scattered into two sub-groups to quicken their work. Natasha knocked on the first house she spotted. A person answered and a woman around the age of forties was standing in front of them, looking confused and skeptical.
“Yes? May I help you with something?”
Natasha gave her a small smile before answering.
“Hello ma’am, we are the FBI, and we would like to ask you a few questions regarding the Parker’s family? You see one of the colleagues of Mr. Parker was found dead yesterday. His crime and evidence had led us here. Our superior wanted us to investigate if some of the neighborhood might know something.” Natasha informed without a quiver, having used to being deceitful around people.
“Ah, yes of course, do come in.” The lady said as she let them inside her house and served drinks to her guests.
Group two was certainly busy at the moment, finding info about the Parker’s couple in Stark tower. JARVIS helped them as well to make it easier and faster. They were thankful for it.
Groups one was trying to find a way to get inside without being caught. Since, after all, Tony Stark was a well-known rival of said Oscorp Company. “Uh… Tony… Don’t you think that it would be better if you disguise yourself into something less noticeable?” Bruce asked.
“I don’t have to worry about that, Bruce-y. I don’t have to go inside to get the information.” He said in a flat tone which made Steve, Bruce and Richard Reed to stare disconcertedly at him as he rolled his eyes at them. Tony produced the duffel bag he brought with them and pulled out what looked like to be small camera and complex-shaped anode.
“Fine, fine. But will Steve be joining us?” Bruce asked worriedly. Everyone already knew Steve was Tony Stark’s husband since the couple made-public their relationship before their little Peter was even born.
“Ah! Just a second!” Tony said as he went to rampage something from his bag, pulling out what looked like a clean-shaved burgundy wig and sunglasses as he turned to face his husband who was seated beside him at the front seat of the car.
Tony placed the wig on Steve’s head and adjusted it, quickly putting on the sunglass as well on Steve before examining Steve’s new appearance. “There! Now no one will recognize you as Steve Rogers-Stark with this disguise!” he said triumphantly. Richard and Bruce looked at Steve, nodding dimly. It was a good thing Tony didn’t put his husband on anything that could turn all attention to him. Vivid outfit and anything obvious would shift public stares on them the moment they entered the building.
“Y-You look--” Bruce said but was cut off as Steve said.
“What? Do I look weird? Funny? Like a freak?” he asked frankly and he was panicking with worry, which made Tony snort at his husband.
“You look…err…hot?” Richard bluntly blurted without thinking which made Steve, Tony and Bruce to stare at him weirdly before Tony grinned like a loon.
“Aww, don’t start to turn gay on my hot ass-ing, charming, bulk, good, golden boy of a husband, Steve-fucking-Rogers-Stark now, Reed! Yeah I know he’s hot as in hot like a famous model--No make that ten million times hotter than a model. He’s freaking Captain America for crying out loud! But your wife would be not happy if you turn all lovely and gay-ish towards our dear-ol’ Captain America. I might also remind you that said hot gay man is also my husband.” Tony snorted
Bruce deadpanned at Tony.
“Ha ha, very funny Tony.” Steve said sarcastically.
Tony pouted at him before saying. “But you are honey; you look dashing hot with jet black hair. I know that our relationship for the past fourteen years is not as steady as they used too, but I would really, really love to see you in that hair in our bed half naked while I stare at you the whole day as I—“ Tony said but was cut off as Bruce said,
“Okay! I think we should go now!” Bruce cut off as pink flush crawled to his ears. He dashed out of the car before things got out of hand.
Tony, Steve and Richard stared weirdly at Bruce before shrugging their shoulders. Tony began to explain on what they were about to do inside the Oscorp building.
“Okay what I want you three to do inside there is ask the front desk counter to lead you to where the Parker couple’s office was and when they had left there? Go and look for anything you can find that might give any information about their experiment and stuff. After that, come back here, and we can all look at the collected information back at the tower along with the rest of the group, okay?” Tony said with a grin.
Both Richard and Steve nodded and were about to head out when Steve said to Richard. “Reed you go ahead and explain to Bruce about our plan, I’ll catch up with you two in a second. I just… Need to talk something to my husband.” Steve said to which Richard nodded in undersanding. Steve then turned to face Tony who had a baffled look grace on his face. It had been so long since the last time he saw that look and Steve just wanted to- well, squeeze his husband right now.
Steve shook his head at the thought and took a deep breath before looking at Tony seriously and said. “T-Tony… I know this is important to you…” Steve said as Tony frowned at him and said.
“This really is very important to me, to us Steve. I know that SHIELD had tried their best to search for our Peter those years ago. But I think they weren’t being thorough. Still, my point is I think that this Parker kid is our little Peter. I trust my instinct with this. I had the same feeling the moment we laid eyes on the kid when he came to us along with Bruce at the tower five months ago. I just didn’t try hard enough to notice of it, until now. This tiny little hope that maybe, just maybe, that this kid is our Peter and we’re his parents, his biological parents for that matter since I’m the one who gave birth to him. I want to do this… I… I want to be with our baby boy again Steve. I want him back. Don’t you want him back as well and see him grow up and get to know him?” Tony pegged, getting all sentimental and emotional over it. After all these years they’d been married, Tony never showed his emotions to anyone, expect to his husband Steve. Besides, Steve understood him better even without Tony’s knowledge.
Steve gave Tony his soft, reasoning smile and cupped Tony’s face. His thumb ghosted against Tony’s cheeks. Tony leaned into the touch before Steve moved forward and kissed the crown of Tony’s forehead, trailing down to peck his chin, lips and Steve had the decency to sigh contently once Tony responded to his kisses. Tony, in his part, didn’t miss a beat to reciprocate by kissing back.
“I really missed your kiss, Steve. We haven’t been kissing anymore ever since our Peter’s gone. But…I...I want us back. I want those night kisses. I missed you cap. I know that we’re living together; sleeping together in the same bed but everything is so different. You’re so being distant. I was worried that you were going to leave me or something so I never said a thing and I know you told me that no more secrets now that we are married but I--“Tony said talking in a worried voice.
Steve stopped him with another simple, quick on his lips again and hushed him as he said. “Hey, Hey... None of that now, Tony. I’m sorry for avoiding you but you didn’t notice that you too were being the same to me too all those years ago ever since Peter was taken from us. I was worried that you were going to breakdown or something. But hey, I’m glad you’re not… And I’m… I’m just happy to see you back to normal. I was worried that our relationship would never go back to the way it was before like in the old days but I’m happy that you finally snap out of it and move on and well…I wanted us back too. My fear was that all of this would lead to divorce. But I’m glad that, that won’t happen and that you want our relationship back but more importantly, I want our son back as well.” Steve said as he kissed Tony again.
Tony smiled through their kisses before pulling away from it and said in a soft caring voice. “Well I’m glad it’s settled then. Now go out there and give me that information I want, love.” Tony said as he kissed Steve one last time before shoo-ing his husband out of the car, a sweet smile adorned Tony’s face. Bruce and Richard looked behind them when Steve stepped out of the car, they looked at him amusingly, since Steve was looking all, happy and well, better, like a new person, or a person who just got the best Christmas gift in December.
“Are you okay?” Bruce asked.
Steve snapped out of his stupor and glanced up at Bruce before giving him a wide, happy grin and replied. “Never been better, Bruce. I feel just fine. Now let’s get inside the building and get the information for our dear Tony, guys.” Steve said as he walked ahead of them. Both Richard and Bruce glanced at each other, having a confused, wary look before following Steve close.
Steve, Bruce and Richard manage to get inside without problems. A woman who went by the name Juniper Magneta (it funny in a weird way) had led them towards the Parker couple’s office and the moment the woman left the room, the three began to search and look for substantiations they could find.
(Who in their freaking right mind would name their daughter Juniper? And if she’s anything related to Magneto?! I mean her last name was Magneta! Dude! I bet that she’s related to Magneto, or she could be Magneto in a drag?!) Steve, Bruce and Richard could hear Tony making through their communicator. Steve groaned at that.
“Tony, there’s no time for your silly joke right now.” Steve said firmly yet softly.
(Oh, fine, fine, ruin all my fun, Hunckybunny.) Tony replied back through.
“Hunckybunny?!” Steve asked not too amusedly.
(Yeah, don’t you like? It’s my new name nick for you, Steebe!) Tony said, which made Steve’s eyebrow twitch in annoyance, but before the couple could begin their lover spat, Bruce interjected them off with a groan and pleaded,
“Come on you two! Do it later later when we’re done with this thing!” he said, begging them to just listen. To his relief, they did.
Soon they found information about the Parker couple, but not without Tony’s help, Tony had hacked the security camera for a reason so Steve and the others wouldn’t get caught snooping and scavenging around.
Steve found folder files related to their work and experiment, while Bruce found their recorded tapes. Richard on the other hand found confidential files filled with complete algorithm notes. It snatched his attention. Bruce even found something that looked like a cartridges tube, with a few liquid still in it. He examined it for a little while before putting the pieces of the cartridges tube inside his bag. Then he noticed a small aquarium tank full of ten radioactive Spiders inside it, alive.
‘Huh? Funny, these spiders still look fresh and in good condition.’ he said to himself, and then found three more of the same type spiders before putting it in a small cylinder glass tube. Bruce picked the three separated objects, carefully inserting it into his bag, making sure the glass like jar wouldn’t get broken. “So everything’s settled?” Steve asked the two who glanced up at him and nodded as they went out of the office.
The three thanked the woman from the desk before heading out of the building, going inside Tony’s car. Steve took off his wig and the glasses before facing his husband and giving Tony his success smile, earning him a smile in return from his husband. They all drove back home to begin and solve this stuff they had found from the Oscorp to get it over and done with while waiting for the rest of the groups to get back to the tower.

Chapter Text
Chapter 4
When Tony and the other went back to the Tower, they were greeted by group five. Logan and his group handed them a few of the files, video tapes, and documents that the SHEILD kept secret regarding the Parker couple. Tony was thankful for it, he told the rest of the group to get to the main lab on thirty-second floor. Bruce, along with Richard, followed Tony down to lab while Steve waited for the rest of the groups to come back and to inform them that Tony and the others were waiting for them.
It around five thirty pm when group four came back to the tower and Clint filled Steve up about what Peter Parker had been up to lately.
“Well, the kid was doing fine. They didn’t do anything suspicious or any risky stuff. They went to the mall, met up at Starbucks, bought drinks from there, had lunch at Hungry Jack, shopping, arcade games. After that they watched a movie. When the movie ended, they headed back home as Peter’s friend dropped him of at his house before they left. Peter went upstairs to his room and well, study…that’s about it.” Clint said.
“I see...well then you and your group should head downstairs. Tony and the others are already there, reading the files and solving it. I’m just going to stay here and wait for the girls since they are the only one left that haven’t returned yet.” Steve informed Clint as Clint nodded his head and trudged from the room.
An hour later, group three finally came back, looking troubled as they filled Steve up with their mission while walking towards the lab.
When they got there, they saw that everyone was busy. Tony was at the center where a huge oval table was placed upon. Papers, files, boxes and tapes were scattered on the table as Tony began to read some of the files while Brain Braddock arranged some of the records by dates and names. Richard and Bruce were busy examining some of the experiments the Parker couple left behind. Henry Pym and Henry McCoy were busy checking and printing something on the computer.
Dr. Strange and James Rhodes and Johnny were on the other side of the computer, watching some of the old tapes. They had been doing that the moment they got back to the tower. The first thing they did was checking and examining each video tape to see if they could find evidence from there. James saw something out-of-place in the tape as he and Dr. Strange played it on.
“W-Wait! Stop right there! See there! What’s that?” James asked Johnny before calling Tony. The billionaire obeyed and strutted with narrowed brows.
“What is it? Did you guys find anything?” He asked.
“Yea, no…but take a look at this Tony.” James said as he told Johnny to replay the video again. Bit blurry and static. Tony watched it; there he saw a white van parked at the back of the hospital before three people scrambled out of the back door. They were carrying, well more like strolling something, out of the door, putting it inside the van.
“What’s that?” Tony asked. “I don’t know, but it looked so suspicious.” James said.
“Whose did this belong to or where did you get it?” Tony questioned, frantic. “This tape came along with the rest of the SHEILD’s documents and others stuff.” James answered while Tony snorted. ‘Of course the SHEILD has this kind of stuff hiding and keeping it from anyone finding out about it’ Tony thought as he continued to watch the video.
“What is that? I don’t like that.” He caught on what James had found on the video footage. Bruce, Richard and Avengers stopped what they were doing and scanned at the holographic screen.
“Is… Isn’t that looked like a transporter?” Henry Pym said. “Transporter? What kind of transport?” Tony asked and said.
“JARVIS scan that video and zoom it closer so I can see what they are taking.” Tony ordered in a low derision voice. It felt like he already knew the answer but still needed confirmation.
“Yes sir.” JAVRIS voice could be heard from above as the AI began to examine the feed as everyone watched it.
“No way. Isn’t that an incubator transport for infant?” Johnny Storm said which made Tony freeze on his spot. Steve noticed this as he immediately went toward Tony and tried to calm him down before he spurt another outburst.
“Tony, breathe! Calm down, love.” Steve shushed; making a fine grab for Tony’s Shoulder and gave it a light squeeze to calm his nerves a little.
“It’s okay, Cap. I’m calm, cool, see? You can let me go now.” Tony formed a fake smirk. Steve eyed him, making sure that he was actually composed enough.
Once the blond was sure enough his husband managed to collect himself, Steve released him lightly, letting out a small sigh, knowing the others were watching them closely, preparing to lend a hand should both of the Starks in need for it. Steve was grateful for it, he really did. Tony looked he did too.
“JARVIS, can you scan and find out the vehicle’s tag number and printed it right away.” Tony said.
“Right away, sir.” JARIVS authorized, perusing it closely before printing the intended tag number.
Clint who was near the printer picked up the paper and handed it to Tony who was looking it up then went towards Francis, handing him the now printed tag number.
“Francis, can you and Brain along with Clint and Logan go and search for this tag number, finds out it and to whom it belongs too?” Tony probed.
“Can we intimidate the guy if he refuses cooperate?” Logan smirked, hoping he really would have the chance to summon at least just a punch. Tony rolled his eyes, agreeing reluctantly. At least he could spare the mutant this.
“Sure, just don’t kill him.” Tony exasperated.
“Yeah, yeah. Come on you three.” Francis nagged.
Brain remained for a little while before going to Tony.
“Why do you want me to come along with them?” He asked.
“I need you to be there for those three and make sure they don’t ruin anything or do anything stupid. You know how they are. Muscles first, questions later.” Brain frowned at that request but inclined anyway.
“Alright. We’re off. Call us if you need anything alright?” He quirked a grin. Tony returned it.
They continue their research and reading the rest of the files and documents. They had found out that both Parker couple was making a serum. It appeared they were trying to create a remedy for the head of Oscorp owner since said owner was suffering from a slow but fatal ailment.
He was running out of time to find the cure and instead had instructed his two greatest scientists to create it by using any means necessary. This was why the Parkers were trying to find a way for it. They had tried animal test subjects and it worked marvelously and by the time they wanted to do a human test subject, they couldn’t find a suitable volunteer.
“I bet they already used that serum on someone else.” Tony accused. He then swiveled to look at his friend. “What can the serum do?” Richard stared at Tony and thought of a way to explain it to him in an easy way for Tony and the others to understand, sure Tony could understand science language but not to a certain higher level since the billionaire was mostly majored in creating and inventing.
“Well, the serum gives the injected subject a tremendous healing ability, perhaps to an extreme level where it only takes hours to heal for wounds or diseases that almost take months to heal, if not more. Judging from what I’ve gathered in this serum we’ve found at the Parker’s couple lab, it possibly can heal anything range from cancer, HIV and perhaps to an exceedingly deformed external. It may have the aptitude to replace dead tissues and fractured bones.” Richard explained.
This made everyone in astonishment at what this little serum could do.
“Sounded like they were trying to create a super soldiers like Cap here than a simple antidote to cure a disease.” Tony pointed with a hiss. Richard shrugged at that.
“Well it was their work; we can’t do anything about it.” Richard said as he added.” Besides, they are already dead. So I don’t think we can do anything about that or complaining to dead people probably would not be such a good idea.” Richard pointed out.
Tony sighed in disappointment at that before saying. 'So, what else did you and Bruce find?” He asked, “We’ve found something interesting about their spider experiment. Apparently the spider is not just any ordinary spider, is actually a radioactive Spider.” Richard said. Bruce was giving him the ‘No shit, Sherlock’ looks. “Thought we’re not sure what it can cause to a bitten person since the couple hadn’t tried it on anyone to test it: if being bitten by this radioactive spider could gain a person any mutant ability or if it a threat.” Richard tilted his head.
“So, does this radioactive spider have anything to do with Spiderman? Cause I got a hunch that he might have been bitten by one.” Johnny pointed out his thought.
“Actually it might be.” Natasha said.
“I mean, we did encounter Spiderman before, well except for Richard and his gang, but I think it might be it. Somehow, he was bitten by that Spider and gained him some sort of mutant power?” She guessed.
“It’s could be. We won’t know not unless we find out. If only we could get a simple of his blood to test his DNA and see if his DNA has fused with the radioactive spider DNA or so.” Richard supplied.
“Hmm… Maybe we could… Get a simple of Spiderman.” Tony said.
“Okay, how are we going to do that?” Johnny asked.
“When Clint get back. I’m going to ask him a favor to do for me.” Tony said.
“Uh what kind of favor?” Johnny was interested in this one.
“I want Clint to have another close combat with the kid so he can get a few blood samples from Spiderman. I’ll make him a weapon that could prick a drop of Spiderman’s blood without him knowing, and then I might let both Bruce and Richard to analyze the blood. Maybe it can also reveal us on what our target looks like.” Tony said.
“Ah, I guess that will do.” Bruce agreed.
“Just give me a day; I might start working on that weapon for Clint to use.” Tony added.
“That’s great Tony.” Steve said after that they went back to work.
“So, anything new you guys found about the Parker couple?” Tony asked.
“Eh? Not much. And from what Richard said about them unable to conceive was true.” Natasha said.
“We asked around and some of them gave us an interesting story… Well, it was about Richard Parker.” Jane said.
“What about him?”
“It seems that the people live there had caught the couple one time in a rainy day, looking panic, leaving their son with his aunt and uncle before they took off. The next day they found the couple died in a plane crash from the morning news report.” Jenifer explained
“We also found out that Mr. and Mrs. Parker lived in a different town house, in Manhattan New York.” Jane nodded at that statement.
“We also went there and found a few interesting information.” She said.
“We asked some of the couple neighborhood there and found that some of them did catch Mr. Parker coming home with an ambulance vehicle that he had parked and hid it in their backyard garage; with him was what looked like an incubator for infant. I’m guessing that it probably was the one we saw on the video footage James showed us a while ago. The day next the neighborhood had told us that the couple had a son just out of the blue which made them suspicious about it.”
“We’re going to try and investigate the couple’s old house at Manhattan tomorrow since it’s already late night.”
Tony nodded. They continued to talk more about the little information the girls had found in their research. When it was almost midnight, Tony and Steve had told the others to head back to their home.
In the middle of the night, Clint, Logan, Francis and Brain came back with the information. They came with a name: Ronald Withhold, one of Mr. Parker fellow co-workers. He solidified his belief that he knew nothing of this but revealed Dr. Conner Kurt was also involved in it as well.
This surprised Tony and Steve as Clint told them that it was better to go to the old house of the Parker couple since the guy they asked told them that they might find plenty of things there.
When it was done, Clint bid them.

The next day, the avengers had another meeting as Tony told the other to go and investigate the old house of the Parker house. The people who went there were Natasha, Jane, Susan, Clint, Bruce, Steve and Tony himself since Tony wanted to see what the Parkers were up too in their old days.
James, Brain and Henry ‘Hank’ Pym went to the hospital to where Mr. Parker had stolen the infant from to get some of the information out of it.

Tony and the other made it to Manhattan, New York, at the Parker couple’s former residence.
“Wow…this place looked so abandoned and unused. Well then come on guys; let’s check out what we can find about here.” Tony said as he went towards.
He grabbed and twisted the doorknob and found unlock, which was a surprise.
“Funny. The door was unlocked.” He said which caught everyone’s attention.
“And yet nobody has tried to get inside this house before?” Steve asked with a shake of his head.
Tony rolled his shoulders, going inside while the others followed close behind.
The place inside the house was filled with dust and webs. The living room was in the left side, and on the right side was the kitchen and in the midst was a ladder that led upstairs where the bedrooms were. Jane and Susan decided to check the kitchen, while Bruce and Clint decided to check upstairs, and Tony and Steve decided to check the living room.
Bruce and Clint squared each of the room, finding a child’s room along the way. The room looked neat even though this house was abandoned. He went inside the room as he examined it. The room had a teddy bed near the window; the bed had a poster of buzz Light-year. Next to the bed stood a door that Bruce could guess was the bathroom. An airplane toy hanging on the roof, a small cabin with lot of toys, the floor was left with scattered toys, drawing books with crayon shattered around it. Bruce could imagine little Peter Parker playing with his toys here when he was little.
A smile graced his face as he imagined if their little Peter was alive, his room would probably looked like this; messy but in a good way.
Clint found the master bedroom, making a short but careful check inside it but the result was disappointing. He’d found nothing. Clint frowned as he went out of the room only to bump into Bruce who also went out of the other room.
“Found anything?” Clint asked.
“Just a kid’s room. How about you?” He asked.
“Nothing.” He groaned.
“How about that one?” Bruce asked as they glanced at the door before they both nodded and opened the door, only to find another set of stairs.
They went to the loft but there wasn’t anything extraordinary other than common things people usually put here.
Bruce went towards the old baby boxes, opening one while Clint busied himself with the bookshelf.
Inside the boxer was another box, but with red-designated color squared box. He took it out and opened it, only to find that inside it was a baby hoodie blanket that was still neat and new. The blanket had a printed of Captain America design all over it.
Bruce sighed before saying. “Looks like nothing can’t be found here, Clint.” He said, placing the item back inside the box to bring it with them. Not once both men looked at the tag; ‘This hoodie belong to: Peter Benjamin Rogers-Stark’ on it.

Downstairs.
Tony lit his flashlight around the living room, viewing his surroundings with keen eyes.
Steve was searching thoroughly everything when his eyes set on a family photo of three; a female on a chair, a man standing behind her whilst his arms were around the woman’s shoulders and a child nestling safely on the woman’s laps.
‘Richard was right. None of the parents had any brown hair, and brown eyes, yet their son has brown hair and brown eyes.’ Steve thought as he placed the photo back to where it was.
Tony noticed a door at the far side of the living room and went towards it, pushing the door open.
Inside he could see an office, probably belonged to Mr. Parker. Then on the left side was filled with security TV and stuff. He turned to glance at his fellow teammates. “Hey Steve, you might want to check this out.” He called to which Steve glanced up at him in confusion before obeying his husband.
The couple went inside and began to look for any evidence they could find.
Steve noticed something that was out of place in the bookshelf, there in the middle of the rest of the book stood a nursery bedtime story. He pried it out of its place only for him to blink when the bookshelf made a clicking sound to the right side. Both Steve, Tony glanced at the bookshelf. It made a creaking noise, opening another route behind it.
Tony whistled.
“You can only see that kind of thing in a creepy horror movie.” He praised.
“Right. So shall we check it out?” Tony asked. Steve hesitated for a moment before he reluctantly agreed, entering the doorway along with his husband. Tony being the most excited among all of them. In the midst was the incubator infant they saw on the video footage, beside it a table trolley with syringes, three empty small jars, and a used glove.
Tony raised a brow as he examined each and every thing his hands could touch in the basement. Steve went on to the freezer and to his surprise; it was still working and inside it was a neatly kept serum the couple had worked on.
“Hey, I think I found a few left serums in the freezer, and some blood sample. They still looked fresh. I’m guessing that the couple probably forgot to shut this thing off when they went away.” Steve informed his husband.
“Huh? Okay, put them in the bag, Steve. We’ll need those to study.” Tony said.
“Okay.” Steve replied as he began to put everything inside the bag.
Tony decided to look around and found a small security system and a small desk. He noticed the tapes in some of the drawer, grabbing one to read the label; ‘Progressions’ input’ and other with documentaries. Tony didn’t waste time to pack everything up. When they were done, Tony had ushered back. Their job was done here, time to head home. Soon they made it back to the tower and made a beeline to the lab, putting things they had discovered in one place.
“So, did you guys found anything?” Johnny asked.
“Yeah, we found a few things. We have discovered the couple, rather cliché, had a secret lab. Can you believe this shit?”
“Huh? Didn’t know they were that kind of people but hey! You can only see things such as that on TV.” Johnny said. Bruce laughed behind him. The human torch raised a brow at the smaller man and Bruce hurriedly hid it with a blush.
“Let’s just check what you guys found okay?” Henry Pym said as he began to rampage through their stuff.
Henry Pym found a few recorded videos and handed it to James to examine it, while Richard and he along with Beast and Bruce left to survey the serum and the blood sample labeled as PBRS. James who was testing and checking the video tape began to play it.
Only to regret his action.
The video tape was recorded regarding the couple’s experiment. Mostly just Mr. Parker’s experiment along with his fellow co-workers.
On screen was a recorded footage of their experiment; a mere baby inside his incubator, crying while some of the scientists were busy doing their stuff. Syringes and test tubes were lined around the incubator.
He saw Mr. Parker hold the jar, pricking the needle into it before transferring whatever substance inside it into the syringe. The man flicked the nozzle twice before heading towards the incubator, opening the postern, reaching his arm to rub the soft spot of the infant before injecting the substance, green liquid poured indignantly into the infant’s system.
The baby continued to cry and cry and cry, showing no attention to stop but before any of the man could do anything, the child stayed still; the beeping on the monitor went quiet for a moment – sending the scientists into disarray – before it beeped once again. This time calmly.
He called Tony and the others in which did and couldn’t help but to have a horrified look on their faces at the sight of it.
“They are using an infant as their experiment to test the serum on?” Richard couldn’t help but to feel sick at the deep part of his stomach.
“James what is this tape label with?” Tony asked.
“Umm…there was none- oh wait! ‘First state’.” James said as Tony told Henry to find the documentary of this label. Henry went and found it, handing the paper to Tony who began to read it.
“Huh? Funny… He only wrote here the experiment name as just Peter… Wait! Fuck! He was experiment on his kid? That’s just sick!” Tony said as he snapped the paper shut, looking all pale and horrified. Just then the video recorder stopped and was placed with a new record; this one had a video of Mr. Parker sitting in his small office in the lab as he began talking.
“Before I continue on to record the experiment result? My wife doesn’t know any of this. I’ve doing this to our adopted son behind her back…” Mr. Parker paused for a bit, taking a deep breath before continuing.
“But she doesn’t know the truth. I only told her lies, lies about I adopted the baby when the truth was that I actually stole the child from his biological parents from hospital with the help of my fellow co-workers. But I will be keeping and raising the child for future examination. With this, I can find any complications of the serum afterward or not as the infant grows older.” Mr. Parker said which sent the Avengers to gasp in shock and at the man’s declaration.
“You see, the serum is called as Therapeutic Serum. It’s s a serum with the enhance ability to heal major type of disease, most of all Cancer and Leukemia. However, the serum has also been tested on animals and we’re proud to announce the serum has worked marvelously. Yet we wanted to tried it on a human being--” Mr. Parker said but only to be cut off as Tony hollered.
“So they think using it on an infant was the better option?!” He hissed
“—But we’ve never found the right potential host for it. Still a few months later, a baby that was born with an impediment during child birth had reached our ears and we’d decided to use the mentioned infant us our test subject. To our relief, Therapeutic Serum did it wonder on Peter. The result came positive without any problems. Peter came out safe and sound. And for future notice? I’m going to keep and adopt Peter to see if the serum effect would last long or not. Also we have the infant blood sample for future studies as well. The blood sample is labeled as PBRS, stands for ‘PETER BENJAMIN ROGERS-STARK’.”
At that statement, everyone was hitched by the thick silence clouded the room.
“WHAT?!” coming from both Steve and Tony could be heard.
TBC.

Chapter Text
Chapter 5
Everyone at the tower headed back home after the shock of finding out about Peter Parker’s secret (They knew Peter was not aware of it). He was the biological, long lost son of Tony and Steve they’d been looking for fourteen years. Tony even told Bruce to do a blood test on the blood sample they’d found in the Parker couple’s old house; the one labelled as PBRS to see the result and to their shock and horror?
The blood result came out positive, meaning this Peter Parker was indeed Tony and Steve’s stolen child. The two were shaken; trying to sink the horrifying fact their son had been used as a test subject to a sick, lack-of-humanity research by none other than Richard Parker himself. This was just too much for them to bear with. Their son as a test subject.
Tony in his dazed state, went on drinking, throwing some of the glass wine on the wall before deciding to just sleep it off and hoping everything that had happened was nothing but just a nightmare he could forget. Just some twisted dream or nightmare, nothing more. Steve, on the other hand, spent his whole night in the gym, trying to vent his anger on the punching bag. It only resulted in him breaking the object from the force he frowned upon it, sending the thing knocking on the wall, creating a dent. Steve panted a little as he glared at the now broken, cracked wall.
Bruce had stayed the night here to make sure and keep an eye on the couple. He watched both Steve and Tony from afar; an understatement expression adorned his face. He could somewhat apprehend what both Tony and Steve were feeling and going through right now. After all, who in their right mind wouldn’t react the same way when you found out your son was being used as nothing but a tool to create another tool?
He silently prayed they would pull it off, could pull it off and back to reality soon, for Peter’s sake. He could only hope both Starks could try to pretend or be strong when they were around Peter. He could guess, heck he did know Peter Parker didn’t have a single grasp about this or whatever his step—or foster father’s scheme was in the past. Perhaps Peter’s aunt hadn’t anything to do with this too, wasn’t related to and kind or form with Richard Parker because if she did? Gods help her, Tony and Steve would make her life a living hell. Old woman or not.
Bruce sighed. Everything right now was a total mess. He could only wish in the end, things would go back to normal, if not okay. He could only pray. He sighed again before getting up and decided to tell and put Steve to bed since Tony was already in his and Steve’s bedroom, fast asleep, but not without curling his arms around his body, trying to make himself as small as he could.

The next morning, the Rogers-Stark couple woke up around six am, feeling the hangover rushed in with a pounding headache. Bruce was already up early as he was now standing on the entrance of Steve and Tony’s shared room, looking at them with a strange expression. “Morning, you two.” He greeted. Tony blinked his eyes slowly before glancing up at Bruce. “Hnn…Bruce? W-Why are you here? Did we have some kind of a wild party and I seem to forget it or something?” He asked while trying to get his head straight. Hangover was one thing Tony hated after paparazzi.
Bruce couldn’t help but to let out a soft snort. “Not likely or have you forgotten everything that happened last night?” Bruce probed. “Last night? What about—”Tony asked but stopped when he suddenly remembered everything, every episode, every dark memory. “SHIT! FUCK! PETER! Of course. Darn it.” Tony cursed before he fell back on the bed. The billionaire didn’t go back to sleep, instead he just stayed there, looking at the ceiling with a deep thought.
Steve wore an indignant look, deep in his thought while he ignored the way Tony twist and turn. Of course he could never forget about last night. Finding out that Peter Parker was their lost son, he was alive, he was taken by a wrong group of people, and he had been used as a revolting experiment by Richard Parker. He clenched his fist tightly at the thought of it.
“Bruce, do you think there are any chances Peter would remember that day? The day he was in the lab or when he was being studied, injected with the serum?” Steve asked. Bruce searched Steve’s facial expression before answering in a way that would be easy for Steve to understand.
“The truth? It would be zero precent, Cap. He was a baby at that time, an infant. A few weeks old if I would presume? It’s impossible for a neonate to retain one’s memory when it happens during their newborn days. And like everyone says, it’s better to forget a horrible past then dwelling on it. What important right now is for you to be strong and make a new memory with Peter even when you didn’t get to see him growing up?” Bruce calmly reasoned.
Steve listened and thought of it. “Y-You’re right. What more important is that Peter is okay and alive…” He reassured his frantic beating chest. “Richard Parker wouldn’t be around anymore to harm Peter.” Bruce added. “Yes, Richard isn’t alive anymore to continue his sick experiment on Peter. I don’t know what I would do if that happen. If he was alive and here, trying to take Peter away from us again.” Tony seethed.
“Good…. Now that settles? Why don’t we all go and have some branch?” Bruce said as he went to make some food in the kitchen.
Steve stayed for a while when he felt Tony moved on the bed and crouched towards him, arms wrapped around his waist. “Steve. I’m scared. What are we going to do when Peter starts to question about everything? If he wants to find out who he is?” Tony asked. His grip a little tight on his husband. “We’ll deal and handle it like when it comes to that. You know Peter has the right to know. Right now let’s just enjoy our time with Peter as his boss-” Tony glared at Steve’s sudden giggle “-and as his friend. Anything he wants us to be. Like Bruce said, we should try and make a happy memory with this Peter.” Steve said.
“You’re right, love.” Tony agreed the two should stay in the bed for a little longer before heading to the kitchen to have breakfast with doctor Banner.

Richard Reed couldn’t believe what his former college partner had done. The horror of finding out one of your college friends had been fallen into madness was just too much, like what happened with Victor Von Doom. However, what Richard Parker did was beyond humanity. It was just wrong in many ways to use an infant as a test subject. A living one at that. He wondered what had driven the man to become so twisted.
Greed for knowledge? Lust for absolute answers? Glutton for information of more and beyond?
He sighed as he got out of his and his wife’s bed. Susan was still fast asleep. A smile on his face when he caressed his wife’s face, getting up and deciding to have a morning coffee. He walked out of their bedroom silently and closed the door softly. He slowly walked down the hallway only to pause in his spot when he passed by his teenage son’s bedroom.
He put a hand on the wall, placing his forehead on it. He closed his eyes in a deep thought. ‘No matter what, I won’t turn or become like Richard Parker. I won’t and will never use my child for my own selfish need. No matter how interesting my son mutation is I will never stoop that low.’ Reed thought. He moved away from the room with a heavy heave.

Francis Castiglione visited Mathew Murdock’s new apartment. Mathew for his part let the man in.
They may not have a stable relationship like the Starks or Erik and Charles, but they were trying their damn best to stay and keep their relationship strong as they could. They weren’t even married to begin with but it didn’t matter. They loved each other and that was a proof enough. He entered the living room; a boy slumped down on the couch, remote in his hand as he coughed once, his back facing him. A smile graced Frank lips as he watched the boy, watched his and Mathew’s son.
A son Frank thought he could never have it again, especially at what happened to his wife and daughter when they were killed years ago in front of him. He mourned, he grieved and the sorrow followed suit it was hard to be eroded away. He thought after what happened to his previous family he was without a second chance of having a family. How wrong he was and he was grateful for it.
Mathew was pregnant with their son, something that had to do with the radioactive isotope. It made Mathew able to bear a child; the news was a shocking to both of them, but secretly overjoyed by it. Their son was two years older than Steve and Tony’s son.
The two raised the child in secret, only the fellow Avengers knew about the boy, and the boy had taken Mathew’s last name for safely reason. After all, Frank wouldn’t want to know what would happen if their son had shared his last name. He had enemies who would shamelessly use what he held most dear just to rile him.
Frank watched the boy with joy and concern. He kind of understood how Steve and Tony felt. He truly did.
A hand on his shoulder snapped him from his thought. He glanced at Mathew. “Something’s on your, Frank?” Mathew asked. Frank raised a brow at his lover, shaking his head. “No, just thinking. There’s no need to bother about it.” They were lovers, yes, but they never exchanged fluffy nicknames, no teases or poking at each other for fun. They were not like most pairs yet they were still happy with being just them.
“All right. Lucas, aren’t you going to greet your father?” Mathew asked. Frank saw the boy wave his hand. “It’s okay, Matt.” Frank said. He moved to place a hand on his son’s head and ruffle it, earning him an annoyed groan from the boy. “Dad! Knock it off!” Lucas chided. Frank just chuckled. “Sure thing, buddy.” Frank said before sitting beside his son on the couch.
Mathew sat on the other side. The three watched Family Guy. Well, mostly it was only Frank and Lucas watching it. Matt was blind to everything, indulging the view of his family.

Two weeks later, everything went normal for Peter. His aunt May was coming back home from her field trip next week on Tuesday.
That night, after his eyes blinked close, Peter was dreaming. He dreamed a dream of him in a closed, confined white room with men in white surrounded him. Through his eyes, he was looking at something but couldn’t tell what it was.
One of the men went towards him and picked up an object (It looked like a syringe). He tried to move but couldn’t. He saw a gloved hand wiped some sort of a liquid along his skin before a needle punctured into his system.
(In reality, Peter was twisting and thrusting his feet. His hands clawed the sheet).
He was scared. He was immobilised. He wanted to scream so he did but the voice that escaped his throat wasn’t of his own. It belonged to an infant. It confused the boy. No, this wasn’t him. This nightmare wasn’t his. He didn’t- this wasn’t his. Not his. Definitely not.
Still he continued to thrash and thrash until he heard a loud beeping and then-…Peter’s eyes flashed at the sight of his blaring alarm clock.
He groaned, shutting the alarm clock off, trying to remember why he had set the alarm clock early in the morning. He remembered the day; it was Monday. He had school in an hour.
Peter groaned.
‘What was that about? I have been having the same dream lately, I wonder why?’ He thought. Peter shrugged it off, got ready to school and had breakfast.
After school he went to the warehouse where he often hung out at, practicing his moves and skills before heading home. The moment he arrived home, he received a call, informing him his aunt was involved in an incident and was now at the nearest hospital at the place where she stayed for the trip she joined.
Peter was panicking. He needed to be there for his aunt May. He didn’t know what to do and the only thing clouded his head was the thought of Tony’s offer about providing his every need or emergency should he was in need for it. Peter didn’t have to think twice as he went towards the tower, taking the train on the way there.

Tony and the other Avengers were busy trying to figure everything what happened in Peter’s past, or trying to figure it out by finding evidence from the files they’d found at the Parkers’ lab. Even though Tony, Steve and the others had already found out about Peter’s true identity, they were still trying to figure why Richard Parker picked their son. To find out if Peter’s uncle and Aunt were also involved in Richard Parker’s scheme and keeping it from the boy. From the Starks.
If they did, there would be no place; no one could keep them safe from Tony and Steve’s wrath.
Tony and Steve didn’t like the thought of Peter Parker not knowing the truth. They knew how it felt to be kept in the dark. Not knowing about anything and always wondering about what ifs. It was something they didn’t want their most treasured person, Peter, to feel.
So they were trying to find a way by solving this scheme and experiment and maybe someday they could explain it to Peter with a proof and the right answer when the boy asked for it.
Children inclined to be curious about everything, and they weren’t that hard to explain in a pleasant and nice way without traumatizing them. However dealing with a teenager who was curious enough for their own good would get themselves into a deeper trouble and danger especially a childlike Peter, who often poked his nose to where it didn’t belong.
The two could only hope Peter would understand, would accept them as his real parents, but for now, the couple would just enjoy their time with Peter for a while.
Their investigation was cut off when JARVIS informed Tony that Peter was on his way to the penthouse. It confused Tony why Peter wanted to come to the tower at this kind of hour. It was already night. Shouldn’t a kid like Peter be at home like a good teenager, eat their dinner and do their homework or go to bed early or something? Tony’s eyes narrowed. No child of his would act like a delinquent-
-then JARVIS’s British mechanical voice notified him the boy looked somewhat troubled. It caught his attention. Troubled meant a worried Peter, a worried Peter meant a restless Peter; a restless Peter meant his son would strain himself for something that wasn’t even worth of Peter’s time. It was something he would not tolerate. His son needed to be in a positive mood all the time.
Tony excused himself from the room. Steve not far behind him.
When he got there along with Steve, Peter was somehow adapted the look of fright and worry. It didn’t sit right with Tony.
“Peter? Buddy, what’s wrong?” Tony asked ever so tenderly. Next to him, Steve blinked. He hadn’t known Tony could use a feathery tone. He didn’t even use that tone on Steve. Not even once and now with their son, Tony spoke as if he was talking to the most delicate thing in the world. Peter took a deep breath.
“I…need your help…I…I got a call from a place where Aunty May went to for her flower trip. She was involved in an incident. I didn’t know what to do or who to call for help. S-So I went here, h-hoping that you could help me out?” Peter said, lips trembling and was about to cry.
Tony didn’t give any reaction to the news. He was more vexed and uneasy seeing his son like this, broken and desperate and gods, if only Peter knew Tony would do anything, everything – he would even tear the world apart for his son – to wash away that awful expression from Peter’s face.
Instead, he settled with calming the boy down. His arms twitched to take the boy into his arms and shield him from the world. . “Shh…it’s okay Peter. Tell you what? Why don’t you stay the night here? And tomorrow we’ll take you there, to your aunt May with my private jet. And, I will also tell Steve to inform your principal of your future absence for a few days due to an emergency. Okay, sounds good to you?” Tony fussed.
Steve rolled his eyes at his husband. Trust Tony and his need to shower Peter with everything. Although Tony didn’t want to do anything for the Parkers – let them be damned-, he had to do this one. For Peter’s sake.
Peter thought of it for a moment before nodding. “Yeah. I would really appreciate that. I want to go see Aunt May. I n-need to make sure she’s safe and-and all right.” Tony’s lips puckered downward. Peter’s voice smothered with love for his fake aunt. The problem with this; Tony didn’t want to share his son with anyone other than Steve, of course. Peter should only look at them, at him, with those gentle eyes, should only love Steve and Tony, his biological parents. Peter was theirs. Always theirs.
Tony took a deep breath and released.
“We’ll go there tomorrow early in the morning, okay buddy? Now, did you have dinner already or-?” Tony asked as Peter shook his head no. “No. I went here immediately the moment I received the phone call…”
Tony frowned at that, he didn’t like his kid skipping meal. “Steve, can you-” Tony didn’t get to finish his sentence. Steve was already hurling (very, very gentle) Peter on his feet.
Peter blinked.
Tony stared at his husband.
Steve made a ‘I’m going to spoil my skinny son with healthy food’ look at Tony.
Tony sighed.
“Go on buddy, go with Steve to the kitchen while I go and make some call, and inform my secretary that I won’t be able to attend the meeting tomorrow and my friends who are downstairs doing our….project. Well it’s a work related project, and no you are not allowed to go in there, mister. Got it? After you done eating your dinner I want you to go take a quick shower and head to bed okay? Steve will take you to one of our guest rooms here.” Tony said.
Peter remembered he was going to need a pyjama, fresh clothes for tomorrow and a toothbrush. “W-Wait! I…I need to go back home to get some things.” Peter quickly added.
“That’s okay, Peter. I tell Happy to get it for and you can borrow an unused sleepwear for tonight and there’s an extra toothbrush on our guestroom, sheesh, and a fresh towel as well. No need to worry about that. Now go have dinner and I’ll see you within an hour, okay?” Tony implored. Peter couldn’t go against that wish.
Tony gave Peter a smile and a tender, slow brush to his head. Peter gawked at the man. That gesture was why too affectionate for Tony Stark.
In the kitchen, Steve was spoiling him with all the food he had cooked, making Peter eat everything, slowly but he must finish it all because he was too skinny and fragile-looking and Steve said even wind could blow him away.
Seriously, Peter thought, did he really look like a mess? The Starks were being so careful with him when they weren’t even like that before.

Tony went to his and Steve’s bedroom. A phone was on his ears. He ordered Happy to prepare his private jet tomorrow morning and to get few things for Peter ‘Everything needs to be perfect for Peter, got it? Perfect. P.E.R.F.E-’ ‘Yes, boss. I got it. Perfect.’ He told Happy to get five days supplies since Peter probably wanted to stay longer with his Aunt May. Next, he rang Pepper, informing her he couldn’t go to the meeting tomorrow and yes, he knew Pepper was scarier than Steve but hey, when it came to Peter, nothing could stop Tony.
Pepper yelled at Tony through their phone and explained to her as to why he couldn’t attend the important meeting tomorrow. Tony didn’t hesitate. He began to enlighten about Peter, about him and the rest of the Avengers had finally found his son, his long lost son.
“Please Pepper. I really can’t go tomorrow. Peter needs me. You know it’s been years. We, Steve and I, we had been trying to find our Peter and now that we finally have him back, I can’t….I can’t miss another thing in his life, Pepper. I can’t miss this opportunity to spend time with him even if it means taking him to see his aunt. Please Pepper?” Tony begged, and that was something because a Stark didn’t beg. No matter what.
“I…all right, Tony. I’ll do it and wow. Peter? Your lost son, huh? Does he know that you’re his father--?” Pepper asked. “No, he doesn’t know anything…” Tony said. “He has the right to know who you and Steve are. His real fathers and not just some guy-…you’re his father Tony, his real father, he has the right to know. Peter is yours. You can always have him back. He is your only heir, after all.” Pepper softly murmured. “I know. Steve and I are planning to let Peter know everything when the time comes…but for now? It’s better to keep it from him.”
“I get it. Yeah, fine. I’ll handle everything. Just go.” Pepper said. “Thank you so much, Pepper! You’re the best! I don’t know what I would do without you!” Tony boomed as he heard Pepper snort through the receiver.
“Probably somewhere in Switzerland, lost, hurt, lonely and totally broke while weeping near a dumpster.” Pepper rolled her eyes. “Pep, you just stab my poor heart with your lack of faith in me.” Tony pouted. “Whatever Tony. You have a good day tomorrow and may things go smoothly with Peter’s adopted aunty.” Pepper said before she hung up.
After the call, Tony met his brothers in arms, err, battles, whatever, to update them of everything.

Steve watched Peter. No he wasn’t being creepy. He just loved the sight of his son eating his food as if it was the most heavenly thing he had ever tasted. “Did you like it, Peter?” Steve asked, blinking like an old-school housewife. “Um? Oh yeah! You’re a great cook, Mr. Steve. Thank you for the food as well. I haven’t had this great meal after aunt May left for her trip.” Peter shyly admitted.
“Really? So what do you mostly eat when your aunt’s not around?” Steve asked. Peter blushed in embarrassment before saying. “Uh… Takeout? Burgers? Pizzas? ” Peter shrugged and looked up at Steve who wore a horrified look. Urgh, yeah. What’s wrong now? Steve batted his eyes. His son was eating junk food the whole time? Preposterous! His son needed to be in a perfect shape and health.
“Starting tomorrow morning you will be eating here, green and healthy food and no Peter. You cannot go against it. You ear or I’ll make you eat.” Steve berated. “Eh? But—”Peter protested. Steve sent the kid a light but serious glare. It shut the boy up. “No buts. No nothing.” Steve said. “…fine.” Peter gave up.
The Starks had gone mad. They were acting as if they were his parents. It was rather annoying than touching.
After dinner, Steve showed Peter his room for the night. The guestroom was right next to Steve and Tony’s bedroom.
“Wow…” Peter amazed as they entered. The room was huge and executive. It was bigger than the living room in his house.
“Okay, I leave you to yourself for the night Peter. Here’s your new sleeping wear for the time being. Oh and one more thing, don’t go down to the main lab. It’s off limit. Well then, that’s about it. Have a good night sleep and…sweet dream, Peter.” I love you, son. Steve sappily uttered as he ruffled Peter’s messy locks. The man left the room, closing the door behind him
Peter watched the door to the bathroom. “Might as well take a long bath.” Peter grinned. That night, he had a bubble bath.

Steve went back to the lab and saw Tony, looking up the moment the elevator door dinged open and smiled up at him. “Well? How is he?” Tony hastily questioned. “He went to take a bath. I warned him to not go in the main lab since you are busy at the moment doing whatever project you are doing with your friends.”
“Oh, okay.” Tony glanced at everyone. It was surprising most of them were present. Especially the steel-claws mutant who was there because he was dragged by none other than Beast.
‘Why, do they have to drag me into their mess?’ Logan grumbled. He got no time for this shit. He needed a drink and a smoke. Not doing a petty investigation. “All right. Now, let’s get back to work people.” Tony clapped his hands once.
After everything was settled, the Avengers were done solving everything, well not everything, but they did do their best. Tony shoo-ed everybody (in a polite, Stark’s way. Logan was throwing a murderous glare at him) out of the tower after they were finished expect for Clint, Bruce, Natasha, and Steve.
“Natasha, Bruce, I want you two to stay a few days here at the tower and make sure everything is safe and sound. You know, keep Jarvis company, while I’m away. He gets lonely without me.” Tony wiggled his brows.
“Where are you going to, Tony?” Clint asked.
“Something’s happened to Peter’s aunt. Now, I don’t want to do anything for the Parker members, but since Peter was pleading me to help? You know I can’t refuse him, ever. He comes first, the rest is second.” Tony turned to throw a glance at his husband only to find Steve wearing the same cemented viewpoint.
Peter would always come first.
“Yeah, sure. We understand. So what am I going to do?” Clint asked. Tony waved a hand at Clint before saying. “You’re coming with me. Steve too, obviously. I need Steve’s support. In the meantime, you will be doing some night out duty. Like err, bait for something, anything-”
“I feel loved already-” Clint’s left eye twitched in annoyance.
“-while keeping Peter safe from harm’s way. Steve and I need to be there for him so we won’t be focusing on anything but our son.”
“Yeah, okay, fine.” Clint moped. “Oh, and by the way, Steve, Peter and I will be leaving tomorrow morning. So I might suggest you guys stay the night. Clint, you need to wear this hat and shade just for safety. I don’t want Peter finding out that you’re among my friends; it would only make him more doubtful of us. And that won’t do.”
Clint looked at the hat Tony handed him. “You’re kidding me, right?” Clint wailed. Tony ignored him, going towards Steve to give his husband a kiss to the temple. “Dude! I’m so totally not wearing a ‘Dora the explorer’ hat with a weird looking shade. I mean- come on! Look at this!” Clint whined.
Tony frowned. “Well, It’s this or I’m giving you a pink wig.” he calmly countered. Clint frowned at the hat then at Tony before sighing, finally giving in. “I hate you, you know that?” Clint snatched the cap and the shade, putting them on. Natasha smirked at him. It faltered though when Tony gave her a different set.
“Well, Peter already knows how you look like five months ago. It’s better to be safe than sorry.” Natasha huffed. “Fine.” She took the black wig and shade from Tony. At least she didn’t look like a total dork like Clint.
“Hey! No fair! How come she gets the normal stuff?”
“It’s Natasha. I prefer to keep my head where it is right now. Oh and by the way, Clint, please pretend that you’re mute. We don’t want to take the chances of Peter recognizing your voice.” Clint gaped. The monster!
They went upstairs and saw Peter in the living room, watching a show on the screen.
“Hi?” He said a little shy all of the sudden. “Hi, buddy. Listen. Bruce and these two will be staying the night. I need Bruce and her to stay here and keep the house company for a few days since we’re going to see your aunt. And this is Dicklin Darling. He’s coming with us. He’s one of my elite bodyguards.” Tony clarified.
Bruce kept a serious face at Clint’s name. Natasha threw the man a mischievous grin. Clint felt like he wanted to throttle the shit out of Tony.
Peter was amused. “Dude! Seriously?! Your parents named you ‘Dicklin’? And your last name is ‘Darling’?” Peter looked somewhat curious. Clint just snorted, glaring at Tony who flashed him a wide beam. Steve groaned.
This was not going well.
TBC.
Notes:
Oh gee, and wow, everyone actually vote for Harry as the venom?! Wow. Okay, so... It a Venom Harry/Peter and a deadpool/Peter then?
But since I'm the author I decided to make the story of a Harem/Peter or Peter/Everyone expect with Tony, Steve since they are his parents here in the story, oh and Matt and Frank are so totally my second favorite OTPs~
But Peter will eventually going to up with neither Harry, Wade in the end, since only one had voted for two voted for flash as a Venom, (the second one who voted as Flash as a venom was me, lol, but I don't count.) Or does everyone want me to make this a foursome pairing? I wouldn't mind.

Chapter Text
Chapter 6
It was midnight when Peter woke up from his sleep; he was having another strange dream like the last time. He glanced around his backgrounds, finally remembering he was at Tony Stark’s tower in one of the guestrooms. He sighed and frowned. He knew he wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep. Not when his mind was preoccupied by his dream and of his aunt May.
Peter blinked his eyes, making up his mind. The boy jumped out from the bed, exploring the place since he hadn’t finished sightseeing yet. He opened the exit door and sneaked quietly as softly as he could, trying not to make a noise. He knew both Steve and Tony along with the guests were already asleep and he didn’t want to alert them.
He walked down the hallway, all the way through the stairs and went to the kitchen to get a glass of milk and some cookies. After he was done, Peter headed back to his room, lying down on the bed, thinking for a bit, wondering if aunty May was going to be okay. He hoped and prayed she wasn’t in a terminal condition.
He closed his eyes, and finally dozed off.

The next morning, Tony was on the phone, talking with Peter’s headmaster and informing him that Peter would be away for a while. Once he was done, Tony made another call, waiting for Happy to pick it up.
Steve at the moment was busy making breakfast for everyone. Bruce, Natasha and Clint were sitting on the crystal stools while Peter was setting the table, glancing at Tony every so often.
“Is he always like that?” Peter asked Clint, pointing at Tony who still glued to his StarkPhone.
“Hmm…must be a tough job being the head or the CEO of a company, especially with someone like this?” Peter joked a little, earning him a chuckle from Clint (though Peter didn’t hear it), since Clint was pretending to be mute.
Bruce and Natasha heard what Peter said and couldn’t help but to beam at the statement. Steve who heard it too just shook his head. After breakfast, Happy barged in to the crowded kitchen and handed Peter expensive-looking garments. The boy hesitated, and Tony sent him a wide grin.
Steve gaped at the stuff Tony had bought for Peter. He glared at his husband. Clearly he wasn’t amused at Tony for pampering the child. Sure Peter was their son but it didn’t mean it was right to indulge him right away. He needed to talk to Tony about this. He didn’t want Peter to become a spoiled child.
“Uh…t-thank you...” Peter said and picked up the items from Happy.
Tony addressed the boy, “They are yours. Now go on and get ready. Steve and I will be waiting for you.” he said. Peter shyly thanked Tony before going back upstairs to take a quick shower.
When he was finished, the boy was wearing a branded greyish pants, a printed t-shirt with a black hoodie jacket, a black-white paired sneakers, and a new patented watch.
‘I think Mr. Tony is out of his mind for spoiling me too much with this. Not that I don’t mind but I think he went overboard.’ Peter thought with a flushed face. When he rushed into the living room, everyone was already there, waiting for him. Tony was wearing his usual suit, and Steve was wearing his trademark attires. Even Dicklin Darling (Clint Barton) was in his dark bodyguard getup. The only thing that was out of place was the cap he wore, but the black shade was okay.
Tony glanced up from the stairs and couldn’t help but to grin at the kid and said. “Well look at you! You look rather dashing, Pete.” Tony proudly claimed. Peter couldn’t help but to return the smile with a blush.
“Thanks.” He murmured.
They entered Stark Industry’s private helicopter.

When they arrived, everyone rushed (Just Peter really) to May Parker’s room. Unexpectedly, she was relocated into a cloistered room. If Tony wanted to be on Peter’s good side; putting May Parker in one of the most expensive private rooms was the only way.
Though secretly, it was the other way around for Peter as he felt indebted to the man and this looked like something he couldn’t ever repay back.
When they went inside, May was lying down on the hospital bed, fast asleep. She looked worse, much worse than the last time Peter had saw her. An IV attached to her left arm, and an oxygen mask strapped to her mouth. Peter marched towards her, grabbed her hand in his and squeezed it gently; a worried expression marred his face.
Luckily her injuries weren’t deep, but since she had a weak body and a fragile condition, it was only natural something like this would happen.
Tony and Steve watched sadly and concerned for their son. Just then the door opened as a doctor came inside, probably to check on May, and was astounded to see them inside the room. “Oh, hello, sorry for the interruption. I didn’t know Mrs Parker has guests today. I’ll just make this quick and check if Mrs Parker is doing okay.” The doctor said, going towards May to perform the procedures.
They watched the doctor do his job, noticing the doctor’s expression turn to concern then to worry, and finally disheartened. Whatever he’d found wasn’t probably a good thing. The doctor looked around hesitantly.
“I need to make a call for the Parker household—“He said but was cut off as Peter interjected. “Wait! I’m her relative!”
The doctor eyed the boy.
“And you are her-?” The doctor asked as Steve answered. “His nephew, sir.” He said. “Oh…and how old are you?” The doctor asked a little concerned since Peter looked much too young than he had thought.
“Fourteen. Why?” Peter slurred in confusion. The doctor wavered. He didn’t want to break the news to the kid about his aunt’s condition, especially since May’s health had gotten worse than he had expected it to be. Yesterday she was doing fine; as fine as she could be in coma, but now her health suddenly plummeted down.
“I—“The doctor was about to say something when Tony quickly jumped in. “Would it be all right, if you can tell us, my husband and I about Mrs Parker’s wellbeing? Peter could just stay here with his aunt to keep an eye for her while we, the adults, talk this somewhere else. How that does sound to you?” He said in his business tone though alarm latched somewhere in between.
The doctor looked at Peter, who was frowning at Tony. “I…very well, Mr. Stark.” The doctor gave in. Peter wasn’t surprised the doctor knew Tony. Who wouldn’t? Tony Stark was a well-known CEO, and not to mention he was the one who called the hospital May was in and arranged everything. The doctor, Tony, Steve and Clint scurried out of the room, while Peter was left behind to keep his aunt company. They entered the doctor’s private office.
“Well? How is it for May Parker??” Tony asked.
The doctor blinked. “Not good. I don’t think she will survive. Her injuries aren’t serious, but the trauma and pain she’s endured has led her into her current state. She has a fragile body. There is a chance that she could survive this or likely….not. We won’t know. It’s up to her now.” The doctor explained grimly.
“It’s okay, sir. You did your best, and we’re grateful for that.” Steve beamed forlornly. The doctor nodded his head before excusing himself to tend to his other patients. They were the only ones left in the room. Silent filled the room until the archer broke it. “Look on the bright side, it means you can have Peter back in your life by adopting him if May doesn’t survive this.” Clint shrugged. Steve gaped at his friend, his mouth wide in disbelief. “CLINT! How can you say such a thing?!”
That’s my son’s guardian, you arsehole!-….wow.
Clint didn’t even look apologetic. Tony turned to stare at his husband with taut shoulders, his voice empty and reverent at the same time. “Clint’s right, Steve. It means Peter will return to where he truly belongs. With us.” Tony gave nothing away. He wanted nothing else but to have Peter as his, as theirs again. There wasn’t anything wrong with that. Steve was too naïve sometimes.
“What? I can’t believe this! You too? Tony this is a human being we’re talking about! Imagine Peter’s feeling if May—”
“Steve, I know is not right. But these are the same people who have taken Peter from me-…from us years ago.” Tony objected.
“I know that but still, it’s not right to just accuse her like that! We don’t even know if she’s involved in this.” Steve replied. Before the two could continue, Clint intruded in the middle.
“Okay you two. Knock it off. We didn’t come here to argue. We’re here because Peter asked us to help him out. Not for this. If you really do care about your son then please do try to get along, for Peter’s sake.” Damn the stupid wig and shade made him less chilling.
“Y-You’re right.” Steve said. Tony looked away as he huffed, affronted. Clint nodded. “Okay, now why don’t we all go back to Peter, alright?”
-0-
Three days had passed and May still hadn’t opened her eyes. Peter stayed with her through that. The Starks and Clint decided to stay at the nearest, expensive hotel, due to Tony not wanting to stay in a cheap motel.
Then on the fourth day, May finally woke up from her coma, looking pale. Peter was with her the whole time. “Peter? Y-You’re here? B-But how?” She stuttered. Peter bit his lower lip. What could he say? That Tony Stark helped him with everything, for free without wanting anything back? She would hardly believe it.
Then Peter looked at his aunty May and knew he couldn’t hide this from her any longer. So he began to describe everything, slowly and with every bit of detail.
After the explanation, May wore a perplexed look, but secretly proud of her nephew. Perhaps it was about time to tell him the truth; of how the boy wasn’t related to them.
“I’m happy for you, Peter. You are always so special. I will always support you on whatever you want to do in your life. But that’s not what I want to tell you.” She smiled reassuringly.
“What about, aunt May?” She was using her ‘gentle’ tone and Peter knew it too well she was about to say something he wouldn’t prefer to hear.
“I…want to give you something before I go. Before that, I want you to know the truth.” She said. The boy’s brows knitted together. He didn’t like where this was going.
“I…Peter…you-you are not Richard and Mary’s son. You’re adopted.” May reached out to the boy. Peter stayed still and quite as he continued to listen. His face gave nothing away.
“You see, dear. Your mother Mary couldn’t conceive. She was barren and thought they wanted to adopt before but they couldn’t due to their work. A month later, your parents came to our house with an infant in their arms. That was you, Peter. They had changed their mind and wanted to adopt in the end despite their tight lifestyles.” Mary explained weakly and knew she couldn’t stay any longer.
What he felt that moment was betrayal more than anything.
“So… I was adopted? But w-what about my real parents? D-Do they know how my real parents look like? Why-why did my biological parents thr-throw me away? Why wouldn’t they want m-me? O-or did mom and dad adopt me from an orphanage?” His throat felt dry. So dry.
“I…guess…I don’t know that. They have never said much. So very secretive of your adoption process.”
“I…understand. D-Did mom and dad ever tell you who my real parents were? Their names? Their place? Anything?” He pleaded. He might be adopted and unwanted, yet, he was still curious of everything.
“I do not know, Peter. Your parents have never said a single word. However, your mother, Mary did leave a letter and her journal for you. She wanted me to give it to you when you turn fifteen but you’re old enough now to understand this thing. S-She even managed to get your father’s journals as well without his knowledge and wanted you to have it. So please Peter, whatever happens, just remember that we all love you. Your uncle Ben and I, your parents, adoptive or not.” She said with a soft yet trembling sad smile before adding.
“I wish I could stay longer.” Her words were gentle and genuine when her hand brushed his hair.
“A-Aunt May, what are you t-talking about?” Peter extended his arms to hold her hands in his.
May angled her head, motioning the boy to come closer, kissing the boy’s forehead when he did so. “I love you Peter. Be strong and stay healthy. Remember what your uncle Ben said, with great power, comes great responsibility.” Her fingers kept treading through his hair, again and again until it finally stopped moving, limping to her side. The beeping of the monitor remained flat.
Peter held his scream, his jaws trembled, crying silently in the room where once, was occupied with two heartbeats.
That was how Steve, Tony and Clint found themselves when they came to visit; the sight of a broken Peter. Eventually Steve had to pry the boy away from his aunt as the nurses, and the same doctor surrounded the deceased woman, stating the time of her death.
She’s gone.
Peter was in the waiting room with Steve. He emphasized how he didn’t need Steve to coddle to him but the older man insisted, cuddling the boy protectively in his arms. “I-I didn’t even have the chance to tell her I love her.” Peter murmured. Eyes rimmed red, as Steve rubbed the boy’s back. He glanced at his husband. For the first time in his life, Tony didn’t have the answers to appease his son’s pain. He just had to be useless when it came to his son, wasn’t he? The goatee man excused himself from the room.
Clint just stood there against the wall. He felt left out.
Peter grieved the whole day.
Few days later they went back to New York. They buried May Parker next to her husband, and in-laws.
Everyone was there and Peter had to admit at how surprised he was at the numbers of people who came to pay aunt May her last respect.
The again, this was aunt May. She was loved by everyone she had met.

Peter was put in the system for a while, while Tony and his husband went to get the adoption for Peter (without the boy’s awareness). They weren’t going to allow anyone to adopt their baby. When they had finally won the custody (As expected) for Peter parker, they took the boy back at to tower to where he truly belonged.
Still, they were worried for the boy. He hadn’t spoken much after the death of her Aunty May. It like the boy just shut down himself, like he knew something big and wanted to deal with it himself. The boy didn’t have his own room yet - staying in the previous guestroom - but the Starks were planning to build one for him soon.
They still needed to pack a small number of things from Peter’s old home. Peter hadn’t left his room for the past few days. He only came out to fill his stomach.
In the boy’s defense, it wasn’t that he was being ungrateful. He was still mourning and everything the Starks had done for him didn’t go unnoticed by him. He truly appreciated it but he couldn’t deal with any of it yet. He needed time.
Peter stared at the neatly folded letter on his table his late Aunty May had submitted to him before she died. Two journals belonged to his late parents were beside it. He stared at it for a while. Almost fearful, dreading of what he would find out. He already knew he was adopted by the Parker’ family. What could be worse than that?
He took a deep breath, tearing the seal, slowly reading the paper.
Dear Peter,
By the time you read this letter, it means that I have passed away. I have never told you about my weak condition before but the truth is, I’m doomed to live such a short life. That’s the reason why I want to go to the flower camp. To ease my mind because I don’t want to concern you with my complications.
I want to apologize for leaving you like this. You’re still too young to be left alone in this world, Peter. Nevertheless, I know I need to have faith in you. After all, we didn’t raise you to be dependent. We’ve raised you to be a better person and we are proud of you. Even though at times you have your moments and problems. We have always loved and supported you with everything.
As you may have already known, you are adopted. You do not carry our flesh and blood but there’s never a day where we never stop loving you. And I hope you are content of being our nephew just as much we are proud as your aunt and uncle. You are wonderful, Peter. I don’t know why anyone would abandon such a wonderful and loving child like you. I will always be in your heart, both me and your uncle Ben.
We love you, always and forever.
Be strong and brave. Move forward and never forget how much we love you.
With all the love,
Aunt May and Uncle Ben.
Peter read the letter with a trembling hold, letting the tears well down to his cheeks. He wiped them with the palm of his hand. He carefully placed the letter back on the table. When he was done crying, he picked the red journal belonged to his mother. He flipped it open as a letter fell from it. He picked up the note and read it, carefully.
Dear Peter,
This is your mother, Mary. Well, you know, adopted mother, but I never love you any less. Peter, what you are about to read from this letter is how we have you. Or how we have come to adopt you. And no matter what you have read from this letter, I want you to know I never regret having you as my child.
I assume May has handed you this letter,
I write this letter for the reason that I think that you have the right to know the truth. I have never wanted to keep you in the dark and I’d rather tell you everything then to let you find it out from someone else.
Before I tell you everything, I would like for you to know that your adopted father and I were a professional scientist and genetic. We worked for Oscorp Company. Peter, you need to know the reason why we have adopted you. You see, I couldn’t have a child of my own. I was infertile.
We were devastated by the news, I more than your father. Though, we’ve moved on from this pain, until your father came home one night with a baby boy in his arms. The baby was you, Peter. We had a fight that night for as much I wanted a child, I feared my work would prevent me to spend my time with you. It would be unfair for you. Despite the argument, I decided to keep and have you.
You’ve grown to become such a wonderful boy. That was until I’ve found out your father had lied to me all this time. Your father didn’t go to an orphanage to sign a contract to adopt you.
The truth is, he had stolen you from your biological parents—
At that statement Peter’s eyes darkened. Then, then it meant he was never unwanted. He was taken away against his parents’ will.
-with the help of his friends.
I had read on your father’s journal how you were born with complications. Your father had heard the news and took advantage of it. I confronted your father about these whole things when I found out. But he didn’t give anything away. He wanted to keep you.
When you turned five, I realized he had a workroom down in his office.
Peter, love, your father had used you as his test subject. He was working on a serum. He was obsessed with it and I lamented the day how I didn’t try to stop him sooner when I could. You were never a healthy boy, Peter. You were born weak and delicate. Whatever your father did to you, it had made you stronger.
I hadn’t forgiven your father for what he had done to you, even until now. I wanted nothing else but to return to you to your biological parents, because it was the right thing to do, because it’d be better this way even though it would hurt me more than anything to give you away.
But then your father had refused and began to explain why he couldn’t just bring you back to your real parents. You see, Peter. Your real parent was none other than ‘Tony Stark—
At that shocking news and statement, Peter let out a wheeze. ‘W-What?!’ He screamed inside his head.
This was the reason why he begged me not to do it. He feared what would become of him. You must know, Peter, after everything, I do still love your father and I can’t bring myself to commit the right thing in the end. I still hold the blame and guilt to this very day. This is also the reason why I don’t want your uncle Ben and Aunt May to know. They’re innocent.
Please, Peter, no matter what, know that I love you. Never doubt this. And I’m sorry for everything we have caused and done. I don’t know if your father, Richard, had ever loved you. It’s not my place to say.
Oh, and one more thing? Your real name is indeed ‘Peter Benjamin Rogers-Stark’. It seems your father, Richard, had decided to keep your real name. Perhaps there’s somewhere in him that he feels guilty.
I may not be your real mother but I have always loved and proud of you.
With all the love and care,
Mary Parker.
When peter was done reading the letter, he took a deep breath, exhaling it out harshly. Then he laughed and laughed and laughed. His life was complete a mess.
He wondered would he be able to face Steve and Tony after knowing the whole truth about him being the biological son of the great Tony Stark and not to mention that ’Tony Stark’ was working for the SHIELD organization.
‘Wasn’t the guy I encountered a few months ago works for the SHIELD too?’ He thought as he held his fist in frantic towards his father’s memory. ‘How could you do this to me?’ He might be able to forgive his mother and understand her reason. But not Richard Parker. He could never forgive this betrayal, this hurt and all it happened because of one experiment. Did he ever worth anything to him than just a test subject?
He glanced and glared at the journal belonged solely to Richard. It wouldn’t do him any good to dwell with this anger and the past. Perhaps he should take a walk for a while.
He took his Spiderman outfit, stuffed it in his bag, ran downstairs to meet the Starks and informed them of his need to take a walk in the park, he wouldn’t leave for long. Steve reluctantly allowed him to do so. Tony disagreed bitterly; protectiveness latched within his voice but eventually let Peter go.
Peter jumped into the elevator and went into some alley to put on his Spiderman costume before he spun off somewhere to cool his head a bit.

Chapter Text
Chapter 7
It was raining when Peter took another spin from his night duty. He was still mad about the previous ordeal.
He had witnessed the death of his aunt a few weeks ago, followed by the crucial news (presented on papers) of his real identity from his adopted mother and deceased aunt. He was a stolen child, taken away from his biological parents by the man he had thought to be his real father all this time. In his whole life, he was lied to by the people he came to care as his own family.
He took out his resentment in a typical way; apprehending lawbreakers, throwing angry punches at them before hovering off once again. He wasn’t being snarky with his comments tonight. He just tried to calm his mind. He didn’t want to come back to Stark Tower with such a foul mood.
He was the son of the great Tony Stark, who had accepted him as one of his students and even treated him as if he was his son (Did Stark know the truth?). He wondered if Tony had longed to see his son again or if ever he had mourned and moved on. Did he even miss his son?
The couple was acting a little strange towards him lately, even before the death of aunt May. They acted like they were…related. It couldn’t be right? Did they find out he was their son? Were they only treating him as one because they saw him as a replacement for the child they had lost?
Frustrated and confused, Peter didn’t notice someone was keeping an eye on him - a man with a bow, arrow slung on the quiver as he hid in the dark. He was keeping an eye on Peter (Yes, he still believed Spiderman was Peter) as ordered by Iron Man and Captain America.
“How’s it going with babysitting Spiderman, Hawkeye?” A voice called out from behind him. Clint squinted around to see the Punisher. He grinned and waved. “Doing great!”
Frank nodded. “So what’s he been up to lately?” He asked.
“The kid’s been busy but he’s doing okay. He looks distracted for some reason.” Clint squared his shoulders. “You know why?” Frank asked. Clint shrugged. “Whatever it is, it looks like it bothers the boy a lot. Enough to take his mind off important things.” The assassin narrowed his eyes.
“Just try to make sure the kid won’t do anything stupid to hurt himself. We still need him to join our group. Captain’s order.” He stated. Clint blinked. “Which one? Steve’s order or Nick Fury’s?” He asked.
“Steve.” Frank replied.
“Ah, okay. I can do that.” Clint said. He saw Spiderman take off. “Well got to go. See you another day, Frank!” Clint said before he jumped off. Frank watched him go and chased Spiderman from behind.
Clint shadowed the boy from behind, careful not to be seen. It wasn’t that surprising when he lost the boy in his chase but still. It seemed like the kid knew that he was being trailed close and had tricked him into following him around.
‘Dammit! I lost him again! How the heck he does that?’ He cursed, deciding to just head back to the tower or maybe going back to where Frank was to disturb him.
Peter, on the other hand, was hiding in some dark corner where Clint wouldn’t see him. Peter had known from the start he was being tracked by someone; his spider’s sense was alerting him a while ago.
The kid glanced behind him when Clint was finally gone. He sighed in relief, taking another spin from the building before landing on some empty street to take a break. It was then his sense was stinging him, alerting him that he wasn’t alone in this empty area.
Someone wanted to bother him when he wasn’t in the mood to deal with anything at the moment. Slowly, shadow of man merged from within the shadow.
“Who the heck are you and what do you want from me?” The kid sounded pissed.
“We are the SHIELD. I’m Nick Fury, the commander of the SHIELD organization.” Nick said as he stepped out from his hiding spot.
“So what do you want from me? The last time I encountered one of you, he tried to shoot me with his arrow.” Peter accused. Nick raised a brow.
“So Hawkeye had been keeping a track on you as I had instructed him to do? Funny that he failed to inform me this. Wonder why?” He said to himself.
Now that caught Peter. “HAWKEYE?! Wait! As in one of the AVENGERS?” He asked, slightly stunned. His anger had finally subsided away by the news.
“I…I didn’t know the Avengers are working with SHIELD. I thought Iron Man hates working for the government?” He asked confusedly.
Nick snorted a little bit. “Not likely. No. Yes, he hates working for the government. Though, we are hardly involved with the government. We collect and bring candidates to become heroes, protectors of the earth. The very reason how the Avengers are formed. We brought them in.” Nick Fury said.
“Wait! Are you telling me that you want me to join the Avengers?” He questioned. “It’s your choice, kid.” Nick instilled.
“What makes you think I want to join your group or the Avengers? I mean, I work alone. Not that it wouldn’t be nice working with Iron Man or Captain America but still I-”Peter was cut off by Nick. “Really? I have every right to force you to join the group, Peter Parker.” Nick Fury. The boy was paralyzed on his spot. “W-W-What?” Peter said, sounding panic all of a sudden.
“W-What makes you so sure that you think I-I’m Peter Parker? I hate to say this but I think you might have mistaken me for someone else—” Peter stuttered.
“We have the evidences. Fingerprints, blood samples and so on.” Nick said. “What’s your answer, kid? You don’t have any relatives left. Your aunt just died a few weeks ago. You only have two choices. Join the Avengers or we’ll hand you to the cop. I’m sure they will be delighted if we hand you to them. After all, they still think you’re the murderer of one Captain Stacy.”
He had no other choice but to threaten the boy.
Peter was furious. Who the heck this guy thought he was. He was about to tell Nick his final answer when a young voice joined in.
“If you join the Avengers, you might get to be one of the most powerful sidekicks? Or if you want you can work alongside them or join the Young Avengers like us.” It was Sam Alexander, Nova, the new recruit Nick had found and joined the Young Avengers group along with Frank’s kid last year.
Frank and Matthew allowed the boy to join. It was a better option they had than letting their son go out there and do his superhero alone without anyone to keep an eye on him. Even people like Frank Castle and Matt Murdock were protective of their kid.
Peter thought of it for a minute. This was a hard decision. He was still confused, lost and angry.
“I…I’ll think about it. Give me a few days—”Peter said but was cut off by the director. “No. I don’t have time to be idling around, Peter. You’re a threat to us and we’re just trying to make sure you’re one of us. Pick your choice kid. I don’t have much time to deal with this.”
Peter cursed under his breath, “I…fine! I’ll join your stupid boy band. You don’t leave me a choice.” Peter huffed. Nick gave the kid a victory smirk.
“Good. Meet me here tomorrow in the morning. We’ll take you to the Avengers tower to meet the rest.” He said. Coulson stayed behind and went towards Peter. “Look on the bright side kid; you’ll get to meet your idol.” He smiled, leaving the boy by himself. Peter was shocked by the statement.
‘How the heck did this guy found out about me hero-worshipping Iron Man anyway?’ He screamed inside his head.
Peter watched both Nick and Coulson leave. Nova stayed behind and pulled out his cellphone, snapping a photo of Spiderman who looked weirdly at him. Nova flashed him a grin. Peter just shrugged his shoulder.
‘What was that all about?’ he thought, going back to the Stark tower.

The next day.
Peter woke up early in the morning around eight am as he went and had a breakfast with his adoptive…err…biological parents. Weird
After that he excused himself from his adoptive parents.
Technically, they were his parents but he thought Steve and Tony didn’t know about it.
Peter went towards the elevator, bag on his shoulder with his Spiderman costume in it as he took off. He ran into a nearby alley and put on his costume before swung to where he met Nick Fury yesterday.
When he got there, Nick Fury, himself and a few SHIELD agents were there. He and Nick were talking about something important before they headed off, drove in one of the SHIELD expensive cars to the Avengers tower.
When they got there, Peter was speechless. The tower they got into was none other than Tony Stark’s tower. His dad’s tower. Peter was panicking. His mind was wild, thinking lot of stuff.
“U-Umm…should I have to reveal my secret identity to the rest of the Avengers or not?” He asked, already fearing of showing himself to the rest of the Avengers. Especially towards his biological dad who was working for SHIELD. Nick raised him a brow before saying.
“That’s up to you kid. Either way it doesn’t matter since now you’re part of the Avengers and you’re not a threat. The Avengers don’t need to know what you look like if you don’t want them too. There are plenty of fellow Avengers who are secretive of their identities; except for me, the head and founder of the Avengers.” He said.
‘Of course.’ Peter thought. “That’s a relief.” He said. Soon, they went inside the elevator. Nick pressed the button to the conference room where he was sure the rest of the Avengers and young Avengers were waiting for them to arrive.
When the elevator door flew open, Peter was frozen on his spot. There, he could see all of the Avengers and some of them probably - he could guess - were the Young Avengers. Everyone was gathering around. Some of them were at the meeting table, sitting in their respective seat while few settled down in a nearby mini bar, talking among themselves.
On the center of the meeting table, sat Iron Man (his Idol), with his mask stayed on. Beside him was none other than Captain America himself (his other idol too).
He could see the Fantastic Four, the Beast from the X-men, Wolverine who was sitting with a bottle of an alcohol in his hand.
Gambit who was playing with his cards looking bored, Johnny Storm also known as the Human Torch was beside Daredevil, thumping with his iPhone.
What surprised him was the one on the center between the Beast and Ant-man. In the seat was none other than Bruce Banner, his mentor. Well one of his mentors, which surprised him.
‘So he works for the Avengers too?’ he thought and felt a little betrayed by it. Then he was more surprised as well when he saw Black Window.
‘Damn! So that FBI woman was an Avenger too?’ He thought.
Everyone in the room stopped talking the moment Nick Fury and the new member showed up. Peter could see Captain America and the others had a disordered look on their face. It made him feel out of place.
“All right, everyone. Gather up.” Nick said. They did just that.
“I would like for everyone here to know that Spiderman is already part of the Avengers. He will be working alongside us. Well, mostly he will be put in the Young Avengers for the time being. I’ll let it be handled by Captain America and Iron Man since the two are the leaders of the Avengers. They will be the ones to decide to where they want Spiderman to be with.” He said.
Everyone eyed Nick with a serious stare while the Young Avengers all looked interested to meet and get to know Spiderman. Nova, who Peter met last night, came towards him. “Yo! Nice to meet you. I didn’t get to introduce you myself. I’m Nova.” Nova asked with a wide beaming grin. Peter just blinked his eyes at Nova. “Ah…okay, right.” He said. “Cool. Now come on and sit with the rest of us.”
Peter eep-ed as he was dragged towards the other side of the huge and wide table where the Young Avengers sat. Nova placed him on one of the empty seats.
Tony and Steve eyed Spiderman. “Huh. Nick, can I have a word with you?” Tony asked as he got up from his seat and went towards the exit door. Nick followed him from behind along with Coulson and Steve.
But before Steve left - “Uh, Hank, Brain can you two take my place for a while and continue on with the meeting. Iron Man and I will go and need to talk to Nick Fury with something.” Steve politely directed.
“Sure Cap.” Hank said. Brain just waved a hand at him. He smiled at them before following his husband somewhere else.
Probably in one of the many small meeting rooms Tony had in his building.
Peter watched his two idols left along with Nick Fury. A frown dominated his face; the mask prevented anyone to see it. Did his idols don’t want him to join their group?
Nova whistled next to him, glancing at the red-spandex boy. “Cap and Iron Man must be a little pissed with Nick.” He said. “Why?” Peter asked. Nova shrugged.
“They were planning to do a mission for the rest of the Avengers to capture and persuade you into joining our group. It seems like Nick had beat them up to it. They were trying to make Hawkeye test your skill a few months ago. That was the mission they were supposed to do but Nick was at his limit and being impatient about it and well…” Nova said, stopping a bit to think of a way on how to break the news to Peter in a nice way.
“So he went ahead and did it himself.” Peter ended to which Nova nodded his head. “Yeah.” Peter blinked his eyes before saying. “It’s taken them five months planning all the stupid moves?” He asked.
“Well you were not that easy to bait, Spiderman. Not easy to capture since you’re fast, smart, and all…but they were trying.” Nova said.
“The only person I have encountered was Hawkeye and you could say that I have mistaken him for a bad guy.” He said.
Nova looked at him with a blank expression. “Eh? They did? As far as I know they wouldn’t let us, Younger members of the Avengers to get involved in it. Cap said it was an adult stuff or something. But hey look, you are now part of the Avengers. So it doesn’t matter either way.” Nova cheekily smirked.
‘IT DOES MATTER!’ The rest of the Avengers screamed inside their head while listening to the two. They were still trying to figure out if Spiderman was Peter Parker himself or not since Tony and Steve feared that Peter, their son, might be Spiderman and if he did, they wanted to figure out a way how to deal with the news.
It was the Avengers’ mission, well, new mission. It was also the reason why they didn’t want the younger members to know about it.
Peter and Nova continued to have their own conversation while Brain and Bruce continued to explain their new plan. They put aside the plan for Spiderman for now.

Steve and Tony were in one of the small meeting areas that was part of Tony’s tower, a few floors away from the main meeting room.
“Nick! What the heck are you think you’re doing?! I thought you wanted us to be the one to capture and make Spiderman join the Avengers? You left that to us to handle it! Now what made you change your mind?!” Tony screamed. Nick wasn’t affected by his demands and screams. He simply uttered.
“You take your time to recruit Spiderman. It’s been five months already and you people still haven’t gone anywhere with him. So I decided to handle it myself with the help of the rest of the SHIELD agents. Coulson also took his time into helping me to solve the problem into baiting Spiderman out. It wasn’t that easy, I know that. But we tried and look how it turned out. We found him skyscraping one night and surrounded him.” Nick said.
Tony snorted. ‘More like force him to join the Avengers.’ He thought.
“Is that all? I may take my leave now. I still have things to do. I leave Spiderman in your care, Cap, Stark.” He said before leaving. Coulson followed him out of the small meeting room.
Tony felt like he wanted to struggle Nick right here, right now. ‘Damn that guy pisses me off!’ He hissed. Steve too was livid at Nick right now, but he didn’t show it and willed to calm himself a bit.
He glanced at his husband who was ready to make a scene right now. Tony was far from pissed. He wanted to murder Nick Fury right now. Steve sighed, easing to calm his husband down by turning Tony to face him.
“Tony, look at me?” He softly ordered. Tony did. Steve saw Tony’s expression- It was of concern and worry.
Steve sighed.
“Tony, I know that you are worried and fear of finding out the truth if our son is indeed Spiderman. I know how you feel because I feel the same too. But listen okay?” He brought Tony’s face to his line of vision.
“I will deal with it when the time comes. If and only If our Peter is Spiderman then we will deal with it like the adults we are. We’re his parents. I’m sure he has reasons of his own why he wants to be a superhero. But right now I want you, me and the rest of the Avengers to keep an eye on Spiderman for a while. He’s with us now. We have enough time to spend and get to know him and if he trusts us enough, I’m sure by then he will reveal himself.” He said.
“Yeah…I…sure. Will do that, Cap.” Tony weakly claimed. Steve gave him a smile. The man out of time looked around; making sure no one would come in here. He glimpsed down at his husband, giving Tony his genuine smile, kissing him fully on the lips.
They were being all lovey-dovey again.
Unknown to the couple who was busy lip-locking, Logan scurried out from the room to summon Captain American and Iron Man, only to regret it when he saw the leaders of their Avengers were smooching-like-shitty-opera-couple out in the hallway. He shut the door real loud, marching off elsewhere. Face red in anger and displeased.
‘FUCK. GOD DAMMIT MY NOT-INNOCENT EYEBALLS’ Logan harrumphed to himself, going back towards the main meeting room.
-0-
Brain (Captain Britain) was busy explaining their mission and plan while half of the Avengers were bored (mostly the kids) when the door to the meeting hall flew open with a loud bang.
There standing in the door was a mortified Wolverine. Everyone stared at him weirdly. Logan noticed this, glaring at every single in the room, running a hand on his face before purposely marched to his seat. Though not before he threw the glariest glare he could muster at Brain.
“What?” Captain Britain asked. “I so hate you right now.” Logan said. “Huh? What did Cap Brit. Do now?” Johnny asked confusedly. Logan groaned
“I saw Cap and Iron Man.” He crossed his arms. The mutant puffed his chest forward.
Everyone looked more confused and interested at what Logan was keeping from them.
“They were what?” Johnny asked with a wide grin on his face. Logan ignored the human-Charizard.
“Do you really want to know?”
“Well duh! I did ask, didn’t I?” He pointed out. Logan made a rumbling sound under his breath.
“Good Captain and Iron Steel were making the fuck out like hormonal teenagers.” He settled deeper into his seat. Johnny gaped at the statement. The other gave the man a dirty grin. Well, screw them. What did they know? His soul was officially scarred now.
Peter was more surprised. This was his first time watching how the Avengers acted around each other. Everyone was being…themselves, with the way Natasha was strangling Clint for accidentally spitting his coffee on her face (After Logan mentioned Captain and Iron Man kissing) and the way Bruce just laughed warmly. His mentor and uncle figure tried to stop Natasha. Nova just there, laughing without a care for the world.
They acted like they were at home. Acted like a family, which made him feel uneasy. Maybe just maybe, it wasn’t a bad idea joining the Avengers after all?

Chapter Text
Chapter 8
It was around three pm when the meeting was over. Everyone headed back to their home. Spiderman even got to talk to Mr. Fantastic and met some of the Young Avengers since Nova said not everyone was present for a while; due to Richard Rider was away on a school field trip at the moment and wouldn’t be back for another week. The Daredevil and The Punisher’s son was away for a school camp.
It surprised Peter to know some of the Avengers were parents themselves but still had time to be a superhero.
Sliver surfer wasn’t present as well since he was still busy somewhere else. He was okay with. Saying he’d meet them at some other time when they were present.
He was the only one left who stayed behind in the Tower while the rest of the Avengers were gone. Well except for Iron Man, Captain America, Bruce Banner, Black Window, Hawkeye, Captain Britain, Ant-Man, Mr. Fantastic and his wife, The Punisher and Daredevil were the only ones left aside.
They were busy talking about something important.
He had a great time getting to meet the rest of the Avengers, even made friend with the Human Torch, who revealed to him as Johnny Storm, the young brother-in-law of Reed Richard (which surprised Peter because he had met Reed Richard a few weeks ago in his dad’s reunion party).
Though he did wonder if his father even knew Mr. Reed Richard was Mr. Fantastic himself. But who was he kidding? Tony Stark was working with SHIELD and probably an Avenger himself as well so he doubted Tony didn’t know any of the Avengers.
Peter sighed and excused himself, telling the remaining Avengers members he wanted to go out or maybe headed home, but the Tower was his home where his father (Tony Stark and his step-dad were living) so he came up with a lie and told them as he left the tower, still in his Spiderman suit when he deiced to just take a stroll on the city for the meantime.
-0-
It was around six pm when Peter got back to the Tower and went towards the penthouse, pretending he didn’t have the best moment of his life and went towards the kitchen.
There he saw Steve who was making their dinner.
Tony was somewhere else. He went towards Steve and led his arms on the cooking table as he watched Steve cook their meal.
‘So we’re having steaks for dinner eh? Awesome.’ He thought. “So…how’s your weekend, Pete?” Steve asked as Peter glanced up his step-dad and blinked his eyes before saying. “It was doing okay. You?” He asked. “Busy.” Steve simply said.
“Where’s Tony?” Peter asked. He didn’t know how to address the Rogers-Stark couple. He didn’t know whether to call them his dad, or Daddy, or pops or papa yet. And he wasn’t sure if they were okay with him calling them that. After all, he was still trying to get used of being Tony Stark’s biological son.
“You know you can call us, me and Tony, dad or pops or whatever you prefer to call us. We won’t mind. In fact we’ll be happy about it.” Steve said as he added. “I know that all of this is just too rushed to you and I know that you’re still trying to get used of us being your new parents. But really Peter, Tony and I will be more happy, proud and glad if you call us like that.”
Peter thought of it before looking at Steve with a hopeful look. “Really?” He asked. Steve nodded his head with a smile. Well, maybe it wasn’t that bad. He never had anyone, or a father figure to call them as his dad before. So why not?
“Uh…um…w-would it be all right i-if I called…you uh…pops? C-Cause I think it’s…kind of cool to call you that?” He said. Steve couldn’t help but to give a genuine smile and chuckle at that as he ruffled the boy’s hair.
Peter ducked his head, but didn’t mind the affection Steve was giving him. In fact, he liked it. He had always wanted to have a dad since Richard Parker wasn’t around. Okay so maybe he didn’t think of Richard Parker as his dad. He still couldn’t forgive what Richard Parker had done to his life, so he was out of the question as Peter’s father figure-like.
“Sure, Peter. You can call me pops if you like.”
Tony who was from behind the hallway heard their conversation and couldn’t help but to smile at that. Peter was finally opening up a bit after the past few days.
“D-Do you think that…Tony wouldn’t mind if I…If I call him Dad?” He heard Peter ask. Tony couldn’t help but to grin at that. Of course he didn’t mind. In fact, he would be happy and proud if Peter finally called and accepted him as his father.
“I’m sure Tony will be happy if you call him that, Peter. In fact he’ll be delighted. We didn’t adopt you because your one of Tony’s students, you know?” Steve said as he added. “Besides, we already see you as the child we always wanted and dreamed of.” Tony heard his husband say it with the most sincere and gentle tone. ‘Gee, Cap….’ Tony thought, feeling somewhat happy by the statement.
“I—” Peter said but was cut off when Tony decided to come out from his hiding spot and said (surprising the boy). “Of course I won’t mind you call me dad, Peter. It means you finally accept me and Steve as your new parents--”
Technically he was their son. But they thought Peter didn’t know that yet.
Peter, for his part, felt loved. So his dad did really want him as his son, but did he think of him when he went missing those years ago?
“—In fact, I think it’s time for you to know something.” Peter snapped out of his thought. “Huh?” He asked confusedly.
Steve looked seriously at his husband, giving him the look of ‘Are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this’ to which Tony returned it determinedly, meaning he had made up his mind and was ready to tell or show Peter something.
“Come here Peter, I want to show you something.” Tony said, grabbing Peter from the kitchen and away from Steve as they went upstairs.
They stopped at one of the rooms. He pulled out a key and inserted it to the keyhole, opening the door. “Go and take a look inside.” Tony said. Peter glanced at him for a while before sliding the door open.
He stared wide eye at the sight in front of him. It was a nursery room Tony and Steve had made those years ago when they found out they were going to be parents. “I-I…wha?” Peter blinked. Tony took a deep breath. “Technically, this was supposed to be mine and Steve’s real son room. We built this room for him. We were excited you know? We looked forward to it. To the day that our little boy would come home after he was born…only to be…” Tony stopped at that.
Peter looked at his father and saw Tony’s pained expression. ‘So he does miss me all those years ago.’ Peter said, feeling somewhat loved.
“Anyway, after he was born he was taken away from us. We tried looking for him, looking for the people who had stolen him from us. We even had our friends to help us out but years passed and we couldn’t find him. Steve and I couldn’t get over it. And we never could get rid of this room. We couldn’t. Didn’t want to forget about him. Most of the time, we had hoped that one day that our son would return to us safe and sound with open arms and all.” Tony finally decided to just tell Peter the truth.
Peter nodded his head and said. “I-If I was that kid, I-I’m sure I’d be glad to hear my parents were still looking for me. At least they did their best. I would be glad my parents still want me. B-But w-why would you want to show me this?” He asked. ‘D-Did they finally find out that I-I’m their lost kid or something?’ He asked himself in panic.
Tony took a deep breath. “I…you see, Steve and I decided to make you your very own room. I think it’s time for me and Steve to move on. Our son will still be in our heart. W-We want you to have this room as your own, Peter.” He said.
Peter was surprised to hear this. Tony was giving away the nursery room he and Steve had worked so hard for it. “No…” He said. “No?” Tony asked with a frown.
“I mean, no. It’s okay. You were trying to make me felt at home but really. I’m already quiet satisfied with the guest room as my own room. I-If it makes you feel better, we could maybe renovate the guest room into my very own room? I can see this room is very special to you and I can see you really don’t want to give this up to someone like me...so really it’s okay.” Peter answered.
“Are you sure?” Tony asked as Peter nodded his head. “Yes…definitely.”
“Okay it’s just that. I don’t think it’ll be a good idea if your room is beside us. I don’t want to scare you when you hear Steve and I are doing it, going at it all night or something.” Tony said with a playful look. “Oh my god! Eww…dad! I definitely don’t need to know that.” Peter said, already grossed out at the thought of hearing his father and Steve doing that stuff.
Tony just chuckled at that. “I want you to design your own for it will be your room for a long time.” Tony said, because Peter was not allowed to leave them.
“Really? I mean, is it okay to you if I want to design my own room?” Peter asked as Tony nodded his head. “Yeah, you are after all my son now.” Tony said. Peter smiled at that. “Thanks…dad.” Peter said, flashing Tony his sweet smile. It made Tony stomach flip in a happy dance.
“Why don’t we go back to the kitchen and have that steak Steve is making.” Tony said. Peter smiled and followed his father back to the kitchen.
He glanced at the now closed nursery room and couldn’t help but feel happy about it. Happy knowing his dad, his biological dad still wanted to have him back. And technically he did return to his parents like they had hoped.
During dinner, Peter thought of something as he said. “Would it be okay if I still keep my surname as ‘Parker’?” He said as he saw both his real father and step-dad had a frown on their face.
“Not that I’m not happy and proud to be a Rogers-Stark. I don’t want to get too much attention if they found out I’m adopted by the great Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.” Peter said.
“You’re right. We won’t mind Peter, but sooner or later they are going to need to know the truth but if only you are really ready for the world to know that you are the son of one Mr. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.” Steve said which made Peter sigh in relief. “Thanks pop.” He said as he added. “Can I still continue to go and school at the midtown science high school?” He asked.
Both Steve and Tony glanced at each other. “As long as you’re happy going to that school, I don’t see why not.” Steve said. Peter flashed them a smile. “Thank you.” He said before continued to eat his dinner. Steve and Tony watched their son eat his meal with content. They couldn’t help but to be happy that Peter was at ease with them. Tony and Steve held their husband’s hand under the table.
‘He’s home. He’s finally home.’ the couple thought with a soft smile graced their face as they continued to watch Peter.

After dinner Peter excused himself and went towards his bedroom. He flopped down on his bed, thinking about stuff, about how his life turned out now that he was home with the Rogers-Stark couple. He glanced at the desk table to where his adopted parents’ journal on, wondering what he should do with it.
-0-
Twelve weeks later
Peter woke up to the sound of his alarm clock, getting out of bed, preparing himself for school. He stayed up for the whole night, reading Richard Parker’s journals. To his shock, the serum Richard Parker had used on him was similar to the one that was used on Captain America, but less different.
The serum was supposed to replace Peter’s former deteriorating condition into something extraordinary and strong, giving him the healthy body with a strong immune system.
It was bit awesome for Peter. It meant he wouldn’t get sick ever. He had always wondered why he never got a fever when he was a kid, despite his weak features. He never complaint about his outer appearances, about why he was born small, short and thin. He was completely satisfied with the way he was.
Thought the effect only lasted once a year. Richard had been injecting the serum into Peter’s system each time he aged. Each serum was different; the first serum Richard had injected Peter with was the first serum that he had created.
The second serum he had injected on Peter, when he was two-year-old, was the second level, making the serum lasted a bit longer up to three years. The last serum Richard had injected him at that time lasted for about eight years.
But after Richard Parker’s death, the serum had less effect on Peter’s system. If it wasn’t for the Radioactive Spider’s bite, Peter would probably be dead by now.
He also found out, that Tony, who he thought was his biological dad, was actually his biological mother who had given birth to him. It freaked him out. Richard Parker didn’t reveal much information on that part about Tony Stark being his mother. He also found out that Steve Rogers-Stark was his biological dad, who had impregnated his mom (Tony).
Now, he was totally freaked and scarred for life. Peter swore he would never get the image of Tony being his mother out of his head for a long time.
He also had found out one time during one of the Avengers’ meetings that Iron Man and Captain America were his parents. The leaders had taken off their mask one time when they had an argument during the meeting. Though, he was proud to know his parents were heroes themselves. Worried and proud.
His only wish was so Tony and Steve wouldn’t find out the real identity of Spiderman. He also planned to tell them he was their blood-son but still couldn’t find the right time.
On the bright side, Peter was starting to like living with the Rogers-Stark couple. The couple was very loving and supportive of him. Steve sometime even took him for a ride with his bike while Tony spoiled him too darn much.
Peter got up and got himself ready for school. He went downstairs to have breakfast with his dads before heading to school. They offered the boy a ride to the school. He gladly accepted it. They arrived in front of the building as Peter got out of the car.
“Well, have a great day at school Peter.” Steve and Tony both said.
“And try to avoid getting in trouble.” Steve said with an innocent smile. “I can take care of myself.” Peter whined and pouted at them, his parents just chuckled at him before waving him goodbye.
“So I guess that, that must be your new parents, Peter?” Gwen asked from behind him. He spun around to face her with a shy smile. “T-they are the one who’s…uh…adopted me the next day after aunt May was buried.” He said. Gwen gave him a soft, caring smile. “I know how it feels like losing a love one.” She said as she gave Peter a hug before they went inside the school.
He and Gwen weren’t together anymore as a couple, they had broken off their relationship a few months ago. It was hard but they were still best friends. Peter was single again, while Gwen was dating one of Flash’s football friends. Harry and MJ were together now, after everything that was going on lately. Harry’s dad still hadn’t accepted him dating MJ.
Everything was back to normal. Well as normal as they could be. He was still doing his Spiderman’s duty sometimes and meeting up with his fellow Avengers.

During classes, Peter was interrupted by his private Avengers phone. It was signaling him they had an emergency at the moment. He groaned. He was in the middle of their history class when the thing vibrated in his pocket.
He raised his hand.
“Yes, Mr. Parker?” The teacher asked.
“Uh, Professor, m-may I be excused? I don’t feel good, sir.” He lied. The teacher eyed him for a while before nodding his head. “T-Thank you sir.”
-0-
He spun around the city, heading towards the Avengers Tower when he saw Hawkeye. He landed in front of the man. “So what’s up, Hawkeye?” He asked. “Sorry about interrupting you during your school hours. But Iron Man and Cap need your help along with the young Avengers.” Clint said. Peter raised a hand.
“Nah, it’s cool…history class was boring anyway.” Spiderman said. Clint shrugged before saying. “Anyway-”Clint was about to say something when he was interrupted by a loud crashing and banging noise from beneath them. They looked down.
Below them were robots. “Are those robots?” He asked and realized it. “Dude! Those look like the kinds of robot you see in anime! Like the Gundam, Eureka, Tiger and bunny. A mecha! Are you saying you want our help to uh…? I don’t know? Get ride of these things?” He asked.
“Don’t destroy them too much. Iron Man still needs some of it for examination and sees to whom it belongs to.” Hawkeye said. Peter nodded, jumping down.
Hawkeye watched him from above. He saw the kid shot a web from his arms, aiming for strong kick from one of the robots scattering around New York City.
Hawkeye pulled out his bow and arrow and began to move.
Soon the rest of the Avengers were there, helping their teammates.
Peter busied himself with fighting the automatons as he punched and kicked. His spider’s sense was tangling as he looked up behind him, but it was too late when he was punched in the chin, making him lose his balance.
He heard a familiar laugh from Green Goblin, who was mocking him with a smirk. “Well, well, well…look what I have here? Isn’t it the little ol’ Spider boy?” He mocked, pissing Peter off. Peter rubbed his chin before staring at Green Goblin, glaring beneath his mask before aiming at the man.
“Are you behind this?” Spiderman demanded. Green Goblin just chuckled and said. “Why? Don’t like my little gift for ya, Spiderman? I’m sure you are starting to get bored just doing nothing but petty crime now aren’t you?” He irked. “Shut up! Where did you even get this thing? Or are you working with someone else?” He asked.
Green Goblin laughed. “Stop laughing you son of a bitch!” Peter hissed as he was about to punch him again. “Go ahead and do it, Peter.” Green Goblin scorned. It made Peter stop. “W-What?” He asked. “Ohh? Did I say it right?”
“So, Spiderman is a boy with a name—“Green Goblin was about to finish his sentence when Peter stopped him by punching him in the stomach, making Green Goblin cough.
“You little shit!” Green Goblin hissed. “I should have killed you those months ago when I got the chance!” he admitted.
He whispered in the boy’s ear. “Poor Peter Parker. No mother, no father, no one.” He then stabbed the boy in the hip.
Peter grunted in pain. Green Goblin took this as his cue to escape and kicked Peter off him as he flew away.
Peter who was on the ground, moaning in pain as he took out the dagger. He heard Black Window screamed for him. When everyone had finally stopped and destroyed the rest of the robots, they all went towards Spiderman.
Hawkeye had his hand around the boy’s waist, trying to support him, since Peter was struggling to stand up due to the pain in his hip. The stab was a little deep, but not too deep to actually kill him. “Hey kiddo, are you okay?” Hawkeye asked. Peter’s vision started to blur. ‘W-What the heck? W-What did Green Goblin just stabbed me with?’ He asked himself before he blackened out.
The only thing he remembered and heard was the scream of his name from the Avengers.

Chapter Text
Chapter 9
The Avengers were in shock when they found out that Spiderman was none other than Peter, their little Peter, when Reed removed Spiderman’s mask. The Avengers took Spiderman into their private infirmary, and Reed did his work to fix and treat Spiderman while the boy was unconscious.
Steve and Tony’s son, they couldn’t believe it. It was just as they feared. What was they supposed to do? They were confused; they didn’t know whether to let Peter join the Avengers or force him to leave.
But this was their son they were talking about and judging how determined Peter could be, they couldn’t stop Peter from doing his duty.
“What are we going to do now?” Tony asked as Reed informed them that Peter was going to be okay, thanks to his healing ability. The poison was cleansed from Peter’s system.
Tony and Steve sighed in relief by that news. But right now, they had a bigger problem. The couple did the only thing they thought was right; they asked for counsels from their fellow Avengers who were parents themselves.
Reed and Susan had given their advice of letting Peter join the team, he had already been part of the Avengers, so it was out of the question to stop him. The boy would just find a way to sneak out to perform his duty behind their back. It was hopeless to stop him.
“The least you can do as his parents are to support and be there for him, keep an eye on Peter. Train him to be better if you feel the need to. Or maybe put him in a group like what I and Richard did for Franklin. We put him in a group and make sure his fellow members keep an eye on him so he won’t do anything stupid.” She told them.
Even Matt Murdock and Frank Castle gave the same advice.
So in the end, Steve and Tony didn’t have any choice but to let Peter join the group, and made sure that he wasn’t alone. Tony was planning to do something about Peter’s Spiderman suit. He had found out when Reed handed him the boy’s suit, it was made of Spandex. Of all the things in the world, Peter was walking in night and day fighting villains in a spandex suit?! Seriously, his son couldn’t be this stupid? Sure, he was proud that his son was a genius, making a web shooter weapon on his own, and had a super healing factor.
He wouldn’t need to worry much. Still, going out fighting in ‘Spandex’ was definitely a no-no on his list.
Well, finding out your son was a hero was a big no-no on his last but it was too late to regret that now.
For now, they would wait until Peter was out from the infirmary. They needed to discuss this with the boy. They must tell him everything now. And when Tony said everything, he really meant everything.
-0-
When Peter woke up, he found himself in a white room. He had a guess it was probably the private infirmary in Stark Tower. He groaned, moving his hands to touch his face, panicking when he realized his mask wasn’t on. He sat up, looking for his Spiderman mask only to find it wasn’t anywhere in the room.
Peter froze on his spot when he noticed Bruce was inside the room as well, sitting on a plastic chair. “Uh…B-Bruce? W-What happened?” He asked. Bruce just eyed him seriously which made him felt uneasy. Bruce sighed before saying.
“You were stabbed by the Green Goblin with a poisoned knife. Your body was doing its wonders and got rid of the poison from your veins with an extra help from Reed Richard himself.” Bruce said.
“And you had been asleep for two days now, Peter.” Bruce said as he added. “And one more thing, Steve and Tony are in Reed’s office, talking about the poison Green Goblin had used on you.” Bruce said.
Peter groaned. “S-So t-that means that t-they know I am Spiderman now?” He asked. Bruce sighed, nodding his head.
“Yes…Reed had to take off your mask.” Bruce said.
‘Damn it!’ He cursed inside his head. Now what was he supposed to do? He wasn’t planning on getting caught and he definitely didn’t want his biological parents to know about this. He had only stayed with the Starks nearly two months but he knew they were protective.
He groaned at the thought of it. He wondered if he could get away with this somehow.
Just then, the front door hovered open softly as both his parents, Steve and Tony, went inside. Peter paled. They looked solemn.
Peter swallowed deeply before saying in a small voice. “Uh…hey?” He said cheekily, dropping in a curl at the glare from his parents.
Steve looked at Peter, sighing as he threw a glance at his friend. “Bruce, can you excuse us for a while?” He requested. Bruce nodded and got up; he peeked at Peter with a weak look before leaving.
Tony took Bruce’s seat while Steve walked the other way around to sit on his son’s bed. Peter looked drained. He threw his tired gaze at his hands, not having eye contact with his parents. He was too scared to see their disappointed look. Steve frowned at how Peter was looking afraid of something. But afraid of what?
He reached a hand and tipped the boy’s chin to look at him straight in the eyes –and Steve just wanted to kiss his son’s lids tenderly to wash away the fear-.
“I-I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you guys sooner. I’m sorry that I-I f-found out you are Iron man and Captain America. I was scared what both of you would d-do if you found out that I was Spiderman. A-And also….I…I know that I…I’m your biological son.” He said with a trembling voice.
Steve and Tony were stunned at this new found information.
“Y-You knew?” Steve asked. There was no point in hiding it anymore now that they’d found out he was Spiderman. It was time they shared the truth. “A-Aunt May told me that I was adopted. Though, she didn’t know all of it. I found out about it in one of mom’s letters she left for aunt May to give it to me, but aunt May decided to give it to me before she died.” Peter explained. “I knew what Richard did to me too. I…I was going to…let you know. B-But I couldn’t…” He said.
Steve looked confused at that. “Why not?” He asked. “I… I was scared. I was scared that you wouldn’t….believe me…” He said in a small voice.
He was surprised when his fathers hugged him, tightly as Tony murmured to him.
“You idiot. We would never be mad-…well, a bit. But we’re only mad because you’re Spiderman. Other than that, you have no idea how long your father and I had been looking all over for you. I thought…we thought we couldn’t find you ever again.” Tony said as he hugged his son tighter, giving little kisses here and there on Peter’s head and cheeks.
“So does that mean you won’t disown me?” Peter blinked. Tony and Steve gaped as they looked at Peter with a horrified expression at the statement before the boy was hugged again by his fathers. Oh god. “Idiot! We could never be disappointed or disown you as our son, Peter! I’m proud to have you as my son. But...” Tony stopped dramatically for a second.
Peter listened. “But your pops and I are still going to talk about what to do with you being Spiderman and stuff. And we think that you too should know the truth as well. Steve and I…also knew that you are our son all this time. Ever since Reed explained to us about Mary Parker’s condition.”
They slowly explained everything to the boy: discovering Peter Parker was their biological son. They also explained to Peter about their investigation at the Parkers’ old house and found evidences about their experiment on him.
“Wow. Okay, so what will happen now?” Peter asked, looking at his fathers. Tony raised a brow, shaking his head. “For now we are going home and figure out a plan to deal with this- and no, young man. You’re staying in bed for days. Weeks or months or years, for all I care. It’s Reed’s order that you take a few days off duty as Spiderman and takes a rest. In the meantime, I’m going to fix your suit.” Tony said.
Peter blinked. “Why? What’s wrong with my suit?” He asked. Tony frowned at the boy and said. “Seriously, Pete, going out crime fighting wearing Spandex? Spandex, I might add? Spandex. Seriously, it’s not safe! The Green Goblin hurt you easily. Nope. You are never ever going out fighting villains in Spandex - your pops is a special case -…I’m making you a new one that won’t get ripped off easily by anything.” Tony stated.
“Your dad’s right, Pete.-”
“-I’m always right, Stevie darling-”
“-I have to agree with him. It isn’t safe and don’t think you’re off the hook yet. You, mister, are going to have a long training with either me, or Tony or one of the Avengers. You’ll join us for missions when we think you are ready. Completely ready. So for the meantime-”
“What?! No, you can’t do this!” He scowled. Steve ignored the boy.
“--the meantime, you’ll get some rest. The rest of the Avengers will understand. Your father and I are thinking of putting you in a group. It’s for your own safely. Call us unfair and all, fine. But I want you to understand that your dad and I are doing this because we care and love you, Peter.” Steve said.
Peter just looked at Tony then at Steve before sighing and slumped back down on his bed. “Fine. But what about school?” He asked.
“No need to worry about that. I’ll tell Bruce to handle it for you. He’s better at this than I do.” Tony said.
“Guess that will do—ah shit-”
“-Peter, language!”
“-I left my bag at the school!” He panicked.
Tony patted his son’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. I’ll call an agent to pick up your bag later on. Now where did you leave it so that I can inform Agent Phil to pick it up for you?”
“Agent Phil? The dude who works for Nick Fury?” Peter asked with a squeak. “Yes. Oh, so you have met him?” it was of a statement than a question. Peter nodded anyway.
The Starks stayed in Peter’s infirmary room, talking among themselves. Peter had told his dad where he left his bag and Tony called Agent Phil to inform him about Peter’s bag. Reed visited the room and Peter used the opportunity to thank him.
Just as Tony promised, Phil did go to his school to pick up his bag, handing it to the boy with an annoyed look, obviously disliking the fact he was called to do mundane thing – but did it for Captain America’s sake.

A few days later
Peter’s friends, Gwen, MJ and Harry had called him, asking about his conditions and it pained Peter that he had to lie to them. At least he was honest to them when he said he was adopted by rich parents after his aunt had passed away. Maybe one day, he’d tell them everything. Maybe. He didn’t know. Right now, Peter was bored but on the bright side? He was finally okay and healed. His body was in a good condition again thanks to his healing factor, and the wound on his hip was slowly fading.
Though, he wasn’t allowed to do anything for a long while, not even a simple hangout with his friends because his dads didn’t trust him enough to let him have his short freedom.
Tony was down in his lab and he was prohibited to go there at the moment. Tony quoted the ‘I’m busy fixing something and don’t want you to see it since it’s a surprise’ kind of quote. Steve was out with a new mission with the rest of the Avengers.
It was so unfair that both his dads were allowed to go on missions while he couldn’t. He had already cleaned his room yesterday, did his homework, and read books. He even finished watching all his favorite anime in three days and played video games.
Now, he just rest in their penthouse.

Steve finally came back home after a fight with the Green Goblin along with his teammates, minus Tony and Peter. He took off his mask and shield and placed it on the end table. He looked around for a sign of his family, but found none. He sighed. “Jarvis, where are Tony and Peter?” He asked.
“Sir is currently in his lab.” Jarvis voice boomed from above. Steve sighed. ‘Oh Tony, when are you going to take a break?’ He thought before asking again. “And what about Peter?” He asked.
“Young sir is currently-”Jarvis paused for a bit, wondering how to explain this situation to the blond. “Well? Where is he?” Steve asked. “He is currently at the rooftop, sir.” Jarvis said. Steve blinked at that.
“Rooftop?! What the heck is he doing there?!” Steve asked. “Actually, young sir has been there the moment you left his room this very morning. And he’s wearing nothing.” Jarvis informed him.
Steve for his part stared at the ceiling in disbelief.
“PETER BENJAMIN ROGERS-STARK! GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THE ROOFTOP! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU EVEN DOING THERE BUTT NAKED FOR?!” Steve yelled through their communicator in the house. He could hear Peter squeak and yelp.
“But pops! I was bored!” He retorted. “So staying upstairs the whole day wearing nothing is your way to spend time?!” Steve asked. He certainly didn’t expect this.
“Actually pops I was sunbathing, and since the pants was getting in the way, I had to take it off.” Peter pointed out obviously, which didn’t amuse Steve who was already having a hard day.
‘Sunbathing in October?!’ Steve thought.
“So you think that it was still a good idea going upstairs butt naked? What if someone saw you?!” Steve complained, stomping his foot on the floor. Wow. Tony took the cue to come out of the lab. “What going on?” Tony peaked.
“Your son. Naked. Sunbathing. Rooftop.” Steve gritted, looking a little pissed.
Tony wasn’t any help since he just laughed the moment Steve said it. “Peter! H-He actually just did that?”
“But pops! No one’s going to see me when you’re up in a hundred floors building!” Peter said with a whine.
“I DON’T CARE! JUST GET DOWN HERE, MISTER! YOU ARE SO GROUNDED AFTER THIS, YOUNG MAN!” Steve stated before he turned around to face his husband. “And you! You are not helping at all!” Steve stormed off. Probably going to the kitchen to prepare their dinner.
Tony just watched his husband. The elevator door dinged open as Peter marched inside the house stark naked. Tony raised a brow at Peter, who looked flushed and ashamed before he ran off to his room.
When Peter was out of earshot, Tony just laughed. ‘Ah, how I love my family.’ Tony thought before going towards the kitchen to wash his hand and get a drink.
Steve and Peter were done getting dressed. Tony watched Steve scowl at their son in the living room. The boy felt guilty. So Tony saved the boy from further trouble by telling them that they should have dinner together but Steve told Tony that Peter wasn’t off the hook yet. Tony just patted his son on the shoulder. Who whined in return for the whole night about him being grounded by Steve.

The next day.
Peter was called to get down to the lab by his dad. There he saw both his parents standing with a smile on their face, which made him stare at them suspiciously.
“Alright, who won the lottery?” He joked. “Very funny, Pete. But we didn’t tell you to come here for nothing.” Tony said as he grabbed and dragged his son towards one of the glass tubes.
There in the center beside Tony and Steve’s costumes was his new Spiderman suit. He stared, gaping at it. Three new Spiderman suits.
One was painted in his original red-blue and a spider symbol. The other one painted in a shiny red and yellow with a lager spider symbol on the chest, the boots were painted in yellow, then at the back of the suit were appendages spider-arms like made of metal in yellow paint. The third one was a metal spider armor suit that was painted in red and blue.
They were awesome. Peter couldn’t help but to let out a loud squeal and hugged his dad, chanting ‘thank you’ numerous times. Tony chuckled at the boy.
“Well, go on. Try one of them. But the armor suit? I want you to use it only for emergency, am I clear, Peter?” He said. The boy nodded in understatement.
He tried the red and blue suit, the one that looked the same as his original though the element of his new suit wasn’t made of spandex. It was made to look like it one but different; the fiber of the suit was ten times thicker, and stretchable. Plus, it was as light as a feather.
“It’s used to endure blister. It also prevents from getting ripped off easily by a knife or any types of sharp object. The contact lenses are made out of mainframe glass, to help you analyze your surroundings, yada, yada.” Tony explained as he continued to explain the rest.
“Also, the arms have a small hole to where your web shooter can come out. The inside of the suit has a mini web shooter that I design.”
“Cool!” Peter said as he tried shooting Dummy with his new web shooter. The robot wheezed. Tony just shook his head.
“Anyway, your second suit, which I call it the yellow Spider. The suit is made of armor like suit, but it’s really light, almost weightless. The same material that I used to made Steve’s costume.” Tony said.
“The third one is almost like Iron Man suit. Plus, here.” Tony handed what looked like a thick watch to Peter.
“This thing is your armor suit’s remote. Whenever you need it, just press this button here and your suit will come and get you and you can get inside it, like how I do with my own suit. But, like I said a while ago. The spider armor suit is used only for-”Tony said but was cut off as Peter said.
“Only for emergency, I know, dad.” Peter said. Tony rolled his eyes at his son, ruffling the boy’s head. “And one more thing? You’re not yet allowed to go on a night duty.” Steve said. Peter whined at this. Steve ignored it and continued to explain. “Your father and I already discuss it and come to an agreement. You will never go out alone as Spiderman ever.” Steve said.
“What?! But Pops!” Peter complained. “No buts, Peter. It’s either that or no more Spiderman.” Steve firmly said. Peter made a dramatic groan before nodding his head and said. “Fine. But I want to know who I’m going to work with.”
Steve and Tony gave him a grin. He didn’t like it at all. It meant he was going to be paired up or teamed up with someone who he would not get along with.
‘Oh god! I can already feel a headache coming. And I’m sure as hell won’t like where this is going?’ Peter thought as he was dragged by his parents to meet his new teammates.
TBC.
Notes:
PS: If anyone could guess about where I get the idea of the yellow Spider suit that Peter's received from Tony?
If anyone guess it right? And yes, that yellow Spider suit was the suit that Spiderman used in the Civil war comic verse. :3
My brother had that comic book, that Avengers 'Civil wars' comic book version issue #4 , and I read it once, it cool. I'm not going to say what the issue #4 was, that would be way spoiler for those who haven't read it yet.
I wanted to re-read the Avengers Civil war issue #4, but my brother's bedroom is always locked whenever he left! :V So I can't re-read it, I was planning to maybe made a Superfamily Civil war version of my own, story, but since I can't read that comic that my brother had since he hide it his room that is always locked whenever he leave.
Maybe I can sneak it, and get in through his window? His window isn't always locked so.. :D
BTW: I wanted to know if anyone here want me to make a Civil war Superfamily version fanfic? Just asking. I might make one when I finish this one? This story I means.
Chapter 10: Not an update
Chapter Text
Hello everyone.
I'm thankful for everyone who enjoy this story. But I'm going to abandoned this story due to my busy work and will be deleting this story and my other work as well. Since I don't have time to write fanfiction anymore. And for a good reason. Other reviewer and reader keeps saying that this story was a rip off or a copy of someone work and my other work too. When in truth I haven't read any of those stories or work. Everyone keeps saying they read those story from neither in ff.net or wattpad or here. I don't even reads story that are posted on ff.net or wattpad. Well not anymore. Expect here. But I would never copy them! >:/
So to not make things matter worst. I'am deleting all of my work. That or someone whose willing to adpot them for me and continue to where the story left off. If anyone willing too, that is. Just pm me.
Thank you. That all. Love you all. Sorry for the inconvenience.
