“But I don’t understand,” Mei argued. “Kiana drinks worse things! Why is this one so—?”
“She’s been drinking pilk,” Himeko butted in. “Only pilk. We were hoping you’d get her to stop before she died and she exploded pilk innards all over the place like an exploding whale.”
Mei opened her mouth to respond. She closed it. She settled with, “Oh dear.”
