A drunken Osomatsu and an old forgotten boogieman walk into a convenience store. Almost the perfect set up for a joke except for the fact that none of it is remotely funny in the slightest.
An episode 24 AU wherein somehow everything is infinitely worse for everyone involved, cats are a lot wiser than anyone would ever guess, and happy endings aren't so easy to come by. -

Giann happily munches on diced peaches and the sweet victory of Marius failing to rattle him. “And the last big thing I missed?”
Marius smirks, “I’m in a romantic relationship rest of the current NXX Investigation Team in a super cool polycule setup.”
Giann loses all the composure the media loved to praise him for and nearly chokes on his fruit. “What?”

After Giann (and Neil) are rescued, Giann learns that Marius is dating four people. That’s…a lot of people to Giann needs to vet. Because he’s the older brother, y'know? He has to vet Marius’ boyfriends + girlfriend.
And while the logistics of intimidating an entire polycule to Not Break Marius’ Heart are a bit of a doozy, he's determined to see it through.

Before Dragonspine was a place of exploration where people actively climbed the mountain in search of its various treasures and truths, there were only dead bodies buried deep in the snow. Few persisted up the peak and all who did died by the obsessive hand of the looming mountain. To turn the burial ground into a great place of exploration, change had to start somewhere. In this case, it began with two men and a bitter struggle to live to see the warmth of the sun once again.
