    Thank you for the story, you really delivered the intended feelings well, and the GRIEF oh my ─ I also find it ironic that just now I was reading another fic where Ran is the one who died. I usually prefer cheerful stories I don't know why I'm doing this to myself. (⁠╥‿╥⁠)⁠

    Poor Shinichi, and poor Ran, she will probably be traumatized for life.

      Unless he has completely no choice in the matter (I shocked or something sudden) I can't imagine Shinichi being in front of Ran and dying looking like how he feels.
      Just because it's him and it's her.

      And thank you so much! I haven't read one where she's died yet, but I have read a few where the kids have died. I don't usually read them either but I love the feelings from time to time
