THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I THINK YOUVE WRITTEN THE CAPTAIN AND EDITH INTERACTING AND I!!! LOVE IT!!!! i love this SO MUCH like theres so much of krupp in him and so much just fuckin. i love seeing krupp's mannerisms simplified so much just by having shame and fear taken out of the equation, if that makes sense? i love this a whole lot and in general i just fucking love these drabbles..... like, its so good and i cant believe you didnt edit these?? sign me the FUCK up, good shit. im so excited to see you writing a lot of stuff again, i always get really excited when you post something!!!
Hehehe- thank you! Yeah, I know in It's Hard I keep nudging at that but like- I can't figure out how to work it in. I know I want to eventually though, and I think with the series coming out, I should have plenty of fodder to use... Captain is SO FUN to write for all the reasons you just listed out. Like, Krupp I feel is driven by so much BITTERNESS and FEAR and ANGER and I mean, it's always good to have something that drives you? But you can't let it CONSUME YOU, yeah? And Captain- Captain doesn't have any of that weighing him down. Like a child, he's fueled by joy, and a desire to have fun. That, coupled with his wanting to do good, MAKES him such a wonderful foil to Krupp... *drags hands down face* oh my god dude there's so much I want to edit- nitpick at it and fix- but I'm not gonna do it. I held myself to a standard and I'm gonna stick with it. Aah! But I'm so glad you enjoyed this!
