    Imagine if I had ended the chapter right after Pythagoras' part! (I seriously contemplated doing that for a while, lol) Gah, but I couldn't do it. I needed Jason and all the comfort he offered, because Pythagoras was really in a terrible shape. There aren't much that can trigger me but writing this chapter made me feel really awful, so the almost-fluffiness of the second half was just what I needed - and I figured that readers would be like that, too. :) But as you've said, they really needed to have that conversation, and though the circumstances were far from ideal, they've at least moved forward now.

    I'm sorry to hear you've been ill! Coincidentally, I've got a cold a couple of days ago and have only started to feel better today. What's more, my wisdom tooth is acting up again so I'm consuming painkillers in an amount that is probably not ideal, urggh. :/ Anyway, I'm happy I could cheer you up by tormenting Pythagoras! :D As I always say, angst is all good as long as there's comfort and happiness waiting at the end of the road. ;)

      Argh! If you had stopped right after Pythagoras was attacked and left it on a cliffhanger like that, I think there would have been an angry mob hunting you down and demanding the next chapter *right now*! Although I probably shouldn't complain too much, because that's exactly the kind of evil cliffhanger *I* would leave a chapter ending at, lol!

      Also, that guy who attacked Pythagoras? He'd better be praying that Jason and Hercules don't catch up with him any time soon, because if they knew he was the one who hurt their friend I don't think he would survive the encounter.

      Oh no, not you as well! Loads of my friends suddenly seem to be ill with colds and flu this week. At least you're starting to feel a bit better now. Mine seems to be getting worse still :-( Hope your tooth gets better soon.

          Lol! Yes, I would be very cruel. I love cliffhangers. My readers... not so much *evil grin* Should I be admitting that when I read your list of warnings at the start of this chapter, I saw them less as 'warnings' and more as 'incentives'? *very evil grin*

          Ooh, sounds good. Why isn't it Friday yet? Why can't we have chapter five now?!

          I think the healthy vibes worked! I'm feeling much better now, which is good. Sadly, I feel better enough that I should probably go in to work tomorrow, and not have another sick day at home, which is less good. :-(

          Oh no! I've just checked to see if the next chapter is up, and seen the note saying it's delayed due to illness! Noooo!!!!! I need my weekly fix!!!! But of course, more importantly, you need to get better. Hope you feel better soon and post chapter five.

            Sorry :(( I feel really bad about letting you guys down but I couldn't finish the chapter in time. I got worse again last weekend (thought I wrote roughly 3k words), snored away Monday and Tuesday, then I traveled home on Wednesday which exhausted me again so Thursday went away in a blink, too. :/ (Also, it's that time of the month when I have cramps all day. Just what I needed!) I really hope that I can finish Pyth's part by Sunday, but it still needs to be beta'ed after that. In worst case scenario I resume updating next Friday, but maaaybe there will be an early next week update, too. We'll see. :/

            I'm really sorry. But thank you; I hope I'll be better now that I'm finally home and can rest in peace.

              Never mind, RL crap happens, and you can't help being ill. Sounds like the best thing you can do right now is rest and relax and if the fic happens it happens, and if it doesn't we'll just have to wait. I'm sure the angry mob can hold off for a while longer yet, lol!
