    Oh my god this was amazing! Magnus' reaction was so relatable :DD Also I love the part:

    "He releases his grip on Magnus’ shoulder in favor of cupping his neck, and the gentleness of the gesture when compared to how the same hand was white-knuckling a knife hilt only moments ago makes Magnus go weak all the way down to his toes."

    because,,, same. :D I love the instant difference in Alec when he's talking to Magnus compared to when he was talking to Oaktree.

      I'm thrilled you pointed out one of your favorite parts! Incidentally, I, too, adore that particular shift in Alec's demeanor. The fact that he so obviously showcases two different sides of himself depending on whether he's "Alec: Head of the New York Institute" or "Alec: Magnus' Alexander" is something I'll never get tired of delving into.

        Yessss the difference between professional Alec and the person he is with people he is close to is like night and day and I love both sides of him. His hard exterior somehow makes the soft Alec feel even more soft :D
