    OK so I absolutely adore the reversal of the Robins, it gives Damian such a beautiful character arc, and I LOVE all the Batfam's interactions with Jon. Everything was smooth and natural, the dialogue was phenomenal (I particularly enjoyed your Steph and Jason) and the little touches give this such flair - Jon always referring to Bruce as Batman, Clark conscripting the League so he can go to Jon's graduation, Conner being woven into the story. And the idea of Jon and Dami being Flamebird and Nightwing together?
    Also love the way you brought in Dami's sexuality in such a subtle and sweet way.
    Literally one of the best fics I've ever read for these two, so glad I've discovered this series!

      Haha dialogue is my favorite. I should switch to playwrighting or something so I can all dialogue all the time. I hadn't had the chance to write Steph before, but I love her. :) Conner worked out as a kind of weird corollary to Tim and Damian. I wish I knew the character better so I could have given him more. (Does he ever get resurrected? I don't even know. I was distracted by reading Impulse arcs instead).

      The verse kind of spawned out of the slightly goofy ALL YOUR BATS ARE ACE fics I wrote a while back. Not-Oblivious-Just-Ace!Damian and pining!Jon make me really really happy. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well!

        Since you asked, Conner does get resurrected in cannon, and he and Tim have a really cute moment where they reunite. It's probably for the best that he didn't come back here, though. Can you imagine? Superboy and Impulse come back from the dead only to find that their best friend died while they were gone, and then, just when they make peace with his death, they have to watch him become a villian.

        I loved this story, by the way. It was really sweet. I especially liked your portrayal of Stephanie Brown here.

          High-contrast cut off Robin from Batman Beyond. The background and part of his uniform are hot pink, while the main sillhouette and elements are in black, other elements like the "R" insignia and his eyes are yellow.

          That's actually the best and the worst and the only possible outcome, it'd fit perfectly as the last part of the series

            Lol, that's the great and frustrating part of the series. It's all happening more or less concurrently. If you wanna get super technical, the post script is the secret wedding drabble I buried in the comments.
