    I’ve been looking for good Jake angst literally since I started this show (a week ago, granted, but usually I’m good at finding fic on ao3) and this is the FIRST good one I’ve found. It’s frickin amazing, and I’m loving it so much. Maybe we could see some sickfic? Jake comes to office and tries to work through a sickness, sophia’s words ringing in his head “you’re not a good detective”, and he lIke. He’s gotta solve this case or he’s a shitty detective, doesn’t deserve to rest over something as silly as cold until this is solved.

      Thank you so much!! I've been binging and rewatching B99 for like a year or so now, I'm so glad you found the show! It grows on you impossibly fast. Also, there's some fucking amazing Jake whump fics! The community is a lot smaller than like Spiderman whump which is my other favorite but we're definitely here! swimthewholeriogrande especially has some good jake whumps. Thanks for the prompt!!!! It's alittle bit of the inspo for some of chapter three, but I'm trying to figure out a good long one for it too. Let me know if there's anything else you're dying to read! I know when I first started watching I saw a thousand different perfect opportunities for Jake whump
