    omg i was so excited to see you post! i love this story so much and was patiently but not so patiently waiting for the next chapter lol. you honestly get all of their characterizations so right (even marina’s who i sort of feel can be tricky based on how she was only in one season and how she was kind of all over the map at that) and it’s really fun to read, especially nano who i have a love/hate relationship with lol. and even though their friendship is also love/hate i really like seeing marina and carla interact. their friendship in the show is so tragic to me but also super interesting so im happy you’re exploring it :)

    i also love seeing carla and samuel be nervous around each other it’s somehow very new and entirely in character of them. a dynamic i love about carmuel is how carla is definitely a girl confident in her body and sexuality and used to being flirted with but samuel still can make her shy or blush, it’s honestly really cute. i cant wait for them to start to get together!

    and, as always, i hate carla’s parents lmao

      You won't believe how glad I am that I get their characters right; Marina's quite a challenge but I think she's a nice girl and a good friend deep down, even though she doesn't always act like it and can be quite selfish. Same goes for Nano, they're just both so controversial and including them definitely adds spice to the story. Honestly writing about the friendship between Marina and Carla kinda makes me sad - they were probably even closer than it's displayed in the show bc they most likely spent their whole childhood together and I can imagine that their friendship's somehow special, particularly for Carla who grew up alone. It makes everything happening in canon so much worse & even sadder...Besides I would've LOVED to see Carla and Marina acting up as teenagers - Carla definitely has some rebellious tendencies and with Marina pushing her they could've been such a troublesome duo after reviving their friendship! But nooo, Marina had to be murdered..

      And about Carla & Samuel: Samuel being nervous is nothing new bc he's still a dork and stayed in his S1 character which I just looove; it's so cute :) And yes Carla's definitely confident in her body but I think she's not so confident when it comes to her personality or character traits - I mean she never had people telling they like her just because she's being herself; compliments always basing on how she's hot, rich and sexy. So when things get more personal she's quite dorky, too; and she already senses that Samuel is genuinely friendly and interested in her, which is completely new for so she doesn't know how to act lol

      No comment regarding her parents...

        yeah i found that a lot of people tended to hate marina and while some of the things she did were so stupid (and it wasn’t right of her to lead samuel on like that) i mostly just think she was caught between a rock and a hard place and it’s especially interesting to see carla resent her in s1 or not understand what she’s going through to completely being put in her shoes by s2. i brought up in my soulmate au (which funnily enough also focused on marina and carla) how carla tells marina not to throw away everything she knows for a guy she just met and how that’s literally what carla ended up struggling with when it came to samuel. like i said their dynamic is so interesting and the fact that carla now understands and sympathizes her makes how bad she feels about everything that happened so much sadder :(

        and i agree! she’s used to people only seeing her beauty so it sort of disarms her that samuel almost immediately sees past that to the person she is deep down. it’s such an interesting facet of their relationship i love it so much lol

          Its truly interesting how these two are confronted with more or less the same conflict; and while Marina apparently wanted to stay in Spain after all (at least that's what she wrote in her unsend text to Nano and maybe would've told him when he came to pick her up), its Carla who packs her bags and runs away in the end, probably realizing Marina had been right all along...

          Their relationship is gold! I absolutely love those scenes in which she tries her weird seduction techniques and they just don't work on Samuel and Carla gets confused af; like that one time when she calls him a pervert in the school hallway, idk why but its so funny

            skfjsjdh it really is so funny but in my opinion you can kind of see her shock but also a weird sort of intrigue?? like she likes that he’s different lol
