    I love this re-telling of Merlin so far! I especially liked how you developed the background in the first two chapters without making me feel like I was being dragged through a tedious backstory. It's an interesting take on how Arthur and Merlin could meet in a different world, and I look forward to reading more! I also like Merlin's interactions with Morgana, Gwen, and Vivian. It's a very well-written story (I don't feel like I'm just reading a script of the show). Thanks for sharing!!

      Aww, thank you! That's what I was going for. I've written FemMerlin fics before, but I always felt like they were just a retelling of canon, without too much variance on what happened in the show. But I've grown a lot since then, and I do like how this is turning out. I think you'll like the next few chapters too! I'll put one up tomorrow.
