    Oh, yay, this story is so beautiful! ♥ I love how you structured it like an episode, because that's awesome and because it literally could not be more appropriate for Troy and Abed to get together in identifiable story beats. Yay yay yay!

      Identifiable story beats may be my new favorite phrase. Like, ever. It trips so beautifully off the tongue. So, thank you both for the lovely phrase and for the wonderful feedback. I'm still not sure what kind of insanity made me think about a week and a half ago, "Gee, I really need to sit down and watch Community." It's one of the best media-consumption decisions I've ever made!
