    Thanks so much! I had a big plan for this fic, but then I got harassed for writing it and I haven't worked on it since I didn't want to invite anymore hate. I would like to get back to it again but honestly I'm scared.

      I'm really sorry you had to deal with that. Is there any way for you to block those people from harassing you again? Either way, you do what's best for you and if you don't feel safe writing this right now then that's totally fine. Take all the time you need ❤

        I was mostly being harassed on AO3 (which doesn't have a block feature) and Twitter (which I didn't even have an account on. Hence why the moderated commenting happened; got to the point people were leaving nasty comments on my other fics. It hasn't happened in months though, since February at least. Though there have been one or two people who have told me not to comment on their fics because they recognized my username from when everyone was shit talking me. I think I'd be fine continuing if I wanted to; it's just fear that I'd be poking the sleeping bear.

        Either way, I really appreciate that you took the time to write that comment and check in with me. I would love to continue writing this and I hope I will eventually. Knowing there's someone out there who wants to see more of this story makes me feel better.

          Of course! And if you do remember their usernames you can always report them for abuse on Ao3. There is a button at the bottom where you can make complaints and stuff and I do believe that they will take harassment seriously. You don't deserve to be harassed for posting content and what they did was extremely out of line and rude.
