The parts leading up to jongdae believing that baekhyun would actually stay were so many kinds of heartbreaking. The idea of a wolf who couldn't hear and its implications was brilliant as the basis for the story. The way you described jongdae's early isolation, loneliness, and sorrow was so amazingly well done, I could almost feel what it would be like to be in his situation. jongdae's relationship with baekhyun was such a beautiful contrast to his life before, especially the immediate past when he lay alone and dying. This was just such a great story!
