    yes, Raf's effort to expose himself to Sonny was Herculean. But it was necessary, otherwise the vicious circle his life has become of ruining all his relationships might never have broken. I honestly think that this circle had the first rift with Jacob, as they both left whole and without bitterness towards each other, but that now this circle has had its total break with Sonny. Now I wonder how much Sonny realizes what he has in his hands and if he accepts the challenge of living up to that feeling. The barisi dads series has already given us the answer. Thank you for writing.

      That's an interesting take on it, and I hadn't thought of it that way. But you're right--Jacob played a very important part in Rafael being ready for Sonny. Without that experience, he wouldn't have learned as much about what he wanted and what he didn't. Thanks so much for your comment!
