    Oh my tiaaaan padme facing CONSEQUENCES!! Her decision to marry anakin had so much conflict of interests. Mace is totally correct no one on the other side (blah those senators blocking clone rights bill >: ) cares if padme actually was or wasn't compromised, they'd only care she didn't declare said conflict of interest before making decisions. there's a reason why organisations make people declare conflicts of interests or potential conflicts of interests before assigning or not assigning them a role ahhh I have opinionstm about padme and conflict of interests urgh padme was a queen, a senator and was in politics long before she married anakin there's NO WAY she wasn't aware of the conflict of interests but she chose to say screw the rules. would the jedi order be obliged to report the marriage to the senate now that they're aware of it? If they did report what would bail organa and his allies think of padme. Oh bail wasn't at obiwan's memorial ;;;;

    Also what...what are the sith doing ;;;; is that obiwan??

      mmm yes you're so right about padme!!

      i'm gonna say for the purposes of this fic, the jedi aren't gonna be obligated to report it - mostly because they're blocking padme and anakin from contacting each other, and have bigger things to deal with. they also know that Something Else is going on with the senate at the moment, and are not particularly inclined to have faith in the senate to deal with this appropriately.
