    Yh I understand it isn’t aimed at the author I meant if the story makes you annoyed at the characters or irked by them (which it seems to do based on your comments on lumine which are your opinions are valid) then stop reading or rather if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it
    Constructive criticism is fine however the tone you come across sounds more like complaining and not sounding like proper critisim

      They aren’t giving constructive criticism. They are laying the thoughts they have about the characters actions out. And it is a completely valid. You can have distaste for a characters actions and voice them and still enjoy the story.

      Fact of the matter is, Lumine was kind of a selfish bitch. It’s a popular theme I see in Xiao/Traveler fics that the Traveler goes through all this trouble to open up someone as broken, hurt and recluse as Xiao only to kick him to the curb the moment their sibling is back. Like why the hell go through all that trouble.

      This story takes it up a notch by adding a child to the mix. Lumine not only forced herself into the life of person she had no intention of staying with but she dumped and abandoned her child on Xiao as well and then expected to be welcomed back like nothing was wrong when she decided to to return to Xiao. As if she hadn’t abandoned both him and her child with absolutely no explanation. Aether had more heart and brains than his sister. Like damn.

      And no joke, but honestly Xiao was extremely forgiving here. He had every right to turn her away and only allow visits. Communication will play a huge part of in this relationship flourishing and hope she’s ready to step up ToT the plate.

        I love this comment. It's so real, the point is to hate Lumine rn, what she did was wrong, I'm glad some yall aren't forgiving or forgetting. This is a second chance fic and Lumine has a lot to work on <3
