    I AM SO HYPE!!!! also once again CONGRATS on writing such a MONSTER FIC! From one leonie/Lorenz to another, thank you and I'm soooo excited ^_^

    - your writing voice! It's so appropriate for the story you're telling! Even without the authors notes, I'd be able to tell you were doing an Austen thing
    - leonies pumpkin grin! It's both cute and funny, and it's just the perfect image for her (especially as a kid)
    - "town oddity—for each community, no matter how small must have one" love this because a) boy ain't it the truth and b) the FLAVOR. Mmm. yes.
    - Bernadetta! I really love the blossoming friendship you wrote here ^/////^ cuties.....

      LISTEN. KID LEONIE WITH A JACK O LANTERN GRIN ENTERED MY HEAD AND WOULDNT LEAVE. Plus she would have been adorable, getting into trouble and giving headaches to her poor old dad and grandma.

      And Bernie. Bernie, Bernie, Bernie. I ADORE the Leonie/Bernie supports, as Leonie is like “look at this kid. She needs a hypeman and it’s gonna be me”. Their relationship is so SO special to me, I feel like—aside from King Himbo Raph himself—Leonie would really help Bernie in her confidence. Like that give no fucks attitude rubbing off on Bernie? Yes, give it to me. She makes for an odd translation of Jane, even more reserved and shy, but like. She entered my head in 2021 and I can’t unsee it. (Unless I think about Anne Elliot from Persuasion and then my third eye opens.) but yeah Leonie would do anything for Bernie, which yes is headcanon territory but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’m here to think about these two getting into trouble as little kids.
