Yeah, the timing of this Fjerdan mobilization isn't at all suspicious and convenient for the folks pushing for Danila (a malleable adult) as King. Good on Alina for seeing it and trying to protect both the borders and her spot in the capital, even if she doesn't have enough soldiers for it.
I am dying at that last section, it's very well done. I can feel Sasha's smugness and Alina's frustration at the situation she's found herself in. I can't wait to see how things progress from here.
