If there comes a day where "they are each other's exceptions" fails to make me giddy, assume I have been replaced by a doppelganger because that is no longer me.
Writing that letter was so much fun! I really just needed to pack every ounce of yearning and pining I could into it. I am SO glad that my goal was realized! Alhaitham knows that Kaveh is it, and that his options are to live with these flowers or lose him. And he refuses to lose Kaveh again. (Plus there was so much angst to consider in Alhaitham looking back at his Akademiya memories and wondering if the him from then felt the same all-consuming love he felt now, because now the feelings are gone forever and he has no way to know. I loved the idea of Alhaitham just being ready to live this way for the rest of his life.
