   This is so lovely ! It covered a lot without the magical gods & ghosts aspect. I like the pirate captain Hua Cheng. I would expect Yin Yu as a first mate but He Xuan adds more to the story.

   I love the little things Hua Cheng does for Xie Lian , even giving him his chambers at first , healing wounds, writing an entire play for him.
   I wonder who the lead actor was ?

      i also wonder about the lead actor LOL bc there’s simply no way hua cheng would consider anyone worthy of playing xie lian so it’s a perpetual mystery to me hahaha
