    This is SO sweet...
    I often think about the doctor being basically alone and the last of his culture, and none to share it with, or none to trust or have time to share it with... Donna and rose learning gallifreyan is such a wonderful concept 🥺🥺

      Thank you! I love the idea of Donna and Rose having some left-over Time Lord traits after all this. And the idea that the Doctor, despite being grounded on Earth, doesn't have to feel completely alone and alien is just more incentive for me to headcanon that. My stepmom's German and I know she feels left out not using her language with most of us in the family and having grown up with completely different shows/movies/references. It's always lovely to be able to share someone's culture when they're away from home, even a little bit!
