Comment on Forces of Nature

  1. Life happens all the time! I totally get it. I’ve heard of both of those series but have not read them yet! I’ll give them a shot! :D Thanks!

    1. Thank you for your patience! It's truly a fun one! AH so sorry I didn't say that clearly, it's the same series but goes by different names depending on novel/manga >c< I do have another one or two great trope-buster series like that one but I can't recall their titles rn. Hey, what other tropes/cliches do you dislike the most? I may be able to give you a few other recs :D

      1. Got it!

I’m a sucker for found family…I’m also always down for a good transmigration/regression like Villains Are Destined To Die. I usually prefer a female protagonist because I’m a girl myself 😆

Good romances are 👌 People who fit each other perfectly and have a healthy relationship. Honestly? I have a short attention span (which shows in my fast-paced writing), so if a story can keep my attention, I’ll read it!

        1. Hiiii I'm back again, so sorry for the delay!! >-<

Found family and/or super close friendships are my absolute FAVORITE. Idolish7, Natsume's Book of Friends, Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun, A Man and His Cat, Astra Lost in Space (just finished yesterday and whoa it's crazy good and has such plot twists), and My Roommate is a Cat, are all in my top series and have the best found families! <333

For good romances--Snow White with the Red Hair, a healthy sweet relationship and FMC; Knight in Flight, healthy and perfectly matched couple and FMC; and the main couple in Tacit is wholesome and sweet...although the manga gets dark. For transmigration/regression and FMC--7th Time Loop: Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy; and I'm the Villainess So I'm Taming the Final Boss. For transmigration/regression and not FMC--Villain to Kill. XD Totally understand, but I'm weird bc I do have a couple female protagonists that are my favs (like Shirayuki in Snow White) but I often end up liking male protagonists more.

My other top series I recommend--that have awesome friendships or found family of sorts, overall good, and may keep your attention--are The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, Tacit, The Royal Tutor, Servamp, Eleceed, I'm Quitting Heroing.

          1. Omg Iruma-kun!! Yes! I also LOVE The Royal Tutor AND Eleceed!! Thanks for all the recommendations!

My own top series is the Beyblade Burst anime. It’s a childhood show that I have a big ol soft spot for. I’m not the target demographic but I still enjoyed the friendships and rivalries and everything!

I watched some of I’m Quitting Heroing! It wasn’t bad at all! I’ll check out the other series you mentioned! Thanks again!

            1. AHHHH Iruma-kun and The Royal Tutor are in my top 5 series I'm so happy you love them too, and Eleceed is also one of my top 10 manga/webtoons!!! You're very welcome, thank you for letting me share some!

OH for real?! About a month ago I wanted a good entertaining power of friendship anime that didn't have stressful world-ending stakes, and my bestie told me about Beyblade, one of fav her childhood anime. I binged almost all of two of the Burst seasons and loved it so much! :DD It's for a younger audience, sure, but the series didn't slack on great characters and friendships! Ken and Wakiya are my absolute favorite characters (Ken is so adorable and relatable and interesting, and Wakiya is such a cute lil tsundere), and Free (uninhibited and sassy and whatever else makes him himself is perfection) and Shu (talented, and cool but kind) as well. Can't forget Rantaro and Cuza and Xander--well, a lot of other awesome characters. Who are your favorites? I'm almost at the episodes where for Valt and friends to bring Shu back from the dark side, I'm so excited for it! (Also for the angsty Beyblade fanfics I may or may not be plotting to write--)

I'm Quitting Heroing is probably at the bottom in the list I gave just to my personal taste, but it's great for its unique concept (the twist near the end is an intellectually and emotionally interesting one to me) and good characters. Really hope you enjoy the other series!! :D

              1. OMG I also love them!! The whole Red Eye arc was so crazy for me and my siblings lol. Fanfics, eh?? I’ll keep an eye out for them! My sister is writing one called Beyblade Burst Beyond! It’s basically a rewrite of the whole franchise! She’s just started on Evolution, and it’ll probably be posted here once she’s done…who knows when that’ll be? 😂

I have pretty low standards so I loved the other seasons of Burst, but some people didn’t like them. But hey, to each their own. Hopefully you enjoy them!

My favorite characters are Valt (ofc! He’s my bias!) and Ken! (RIP Gabe Khouth)
