I’ve had the idea for this scenario for a long now. At first I thought I might write a short anthology fic where Kirika goes around and asks people to do other silly things. Then it became a potential omake art candidate. But in the end I realised that it would make the perfect opportunity to try my hand at some animation. In fact, the idea to have an abrupt cut to the credits is I think what pushed me fully over the edge in terms of resolve.
And it makes me so unbelievably happy to hear that it all paid off! Animation is hard work indeed (frankly I don’t feel like touching a timeline ever again), yet there are aspects like visual gags and comedic timing that can only really work in that medium. I sincerely hope that there are others who might see this and give it a try as well — because even if it’s hard work, it was so worth it in the end.
