    And yeah, as much as I understand the canon tragically doomed Itachi, the batshit crazy, child soldier, broken shinobi logic Itachi is the most entertaining one.

      Crazy itachi is my favorite itachi honestly and tragic itachi was just the retcon version because I truly believed kishimoto wanted him to be a villain with no reasonable excuses.
