I get the feeling that Jamil would quite like Yuu, or at least understand some of her feelings. If the two of them ever play a game of mancala or chess, I find the image of both of them trying to lose to each other to be quite funny. (Jamil has been taught to have 3 losses and 2 wins, while Yuu has been taught to always let her customer win). I can also see Leona appreciating her for her strategic mind.
This Yuu reminds me a bit of Kuroki Yuuya, the protagonist in the ln. They both have a timid nature and couldn’t really speak back when being accused of bringing Grim. I think it fits really well here, because Yuu is from a period of time where women are historically submissive—doubly so for this Yuu, who is a literal courtesan. I thought you portrayed that quite well!
