I wonder if, when everyone's memories return, they'll be self-aware enough to process how differently they treated McKay when they didn't have their pre-conceptions of him in the way. When he's just a person, they're all treating him quite respectfully - Keller admitting that hands are sensitive, people saying thank you, being generally impressed with Rodney's abilities. Telling him he's done a good job. Maybe it will make themm take a look at themselves.
That is an interesting idea. I guess I was imagining sort of a gradual process of memory recovery where the contrasts might not stand out quite so much, or more optimistically that people would regain their memories but still keep that second-first-impression they got of Rodney. That's the sound of opportunity knocking, isn't it?
