      Actually, I mentioned it in the story and I think there was a slight misunderstanding.

      Lady Bone Demon says Wukong disappeared 3 years after the SACRIFICE. So at that time MK was a 2 year old baby and Macaque adopted him at that time.

      So they are actually 23 years old, those 3 years I mentioned represent the sacrifice Wukong made (and this is a very long time, even before Wukong complete goes crazy)

      And sorry for the confusion, I was going to reply to this but it slipped my mind at the very last moment and I didn't have time TvT
