    The only person I could see figuring it out or having a heart-to-heart with Lexie is Donna. When Donna figures out how little time Lexie has left, I have no idea what she will do.

    The learning to play piano thing is so bittersweet. It’s almost heartbreaking. Well, it’s definitely lung straining.

    I keep imagining all the ways everyone will find a very unalived Lexie. I am saddened and exhilarated to see it all play out.

      I’m so glad you picked up on the bittersweet nature of the piano subplot. Lexie’s journey with it has layers that are hard to put into words, but I hope it comes through in the writing. Your note about it being ‘lung straining’ is so poetic and fitting...it really stuck with me.

      Currently, I'm writing the next chapter, and everyone is going to find out...soon. It's getting harder to write each chapter 😢

      And yes, I plan to update every two weeks—if I don’t stick to this, I might keep postponing it! 😅
