          'The best damn thing' is also a good one. That fic is really cute. The author is not just only focus on developing Adam and Michael but also other side characters which made the story really clear and deep. It feel like you understand the whole thing going on.

      It's sadly still unfinished, I'm not sure if it's gonna ever be updated or not but I love it. It's pretty much about Michael, who grew up very religious and with a pretty messed up upbringing as he ends up falling in love with Adam

       

      Also I totally agree with the other suggestions, fics by StarEyedDistinguishment (especially the Sins of the Father series) and The Best Damn Thing are my top favourites when it comes to midam fics

          It’s called The Divergence of Divine law. It’s so good!! And literally all the other works of the author darkmillennial. Check them out, their fics are so detailed, well written, characterized so amazingly, and just sooo good. I literally worship the author and have taken to kinda stalking their tumblr page. They’re stories got me hooked, and has raised my standards for midam fics! 😭🤞

          Also, they have like 30 works for midam, definitely check them out ASAP. And please come back to share your opinion, I’d love someone to talk to about it. 😩

            YES, DUDE. I loved that fic, I think that's still my favorite "cage fic", I just really loved the way their relationship grew. And, Adam dealing with the hallucinations and Michael eventually realizing and being willing to help out was sooo good.

            I wish I could dish out 30+ midam fics but I am physically incapable of writing one shots lmao everything I think of is multi-chapter and long as fuck lol (aka me struggling rn to write another multichap midam fic now that's I'm done with writing this one). But, that being said, I really do want to try and write some oneshots/short stories for this AU cause I've already thought of a few. I just love these two so much lol

              Yay! Ik right? I loved their fics so much as well! Also, madam is really lacking in long fics do you dish out how ever many you want, k? Cuz let me tell you, I will be eating it up! I guess I am also proud to say that your fic has re-inspired me to try dipping my hand in writing a fic for Midam too. Although it might take a while for me to post it, cuz I actually suck at writing. Like full shade, I am a horrible writer and have so many flaws. I also cannot world build, I have the vision. But not the skill. But one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, or however that goes. So,…🤷‍♀️
