Two things. I was more asking about whether enhanced vitality was more of a healing buff for injuries rather than any form of duribility since it actually seems implied from the trait description and I was curious if he simply died before it could even do anything and secondly, regular humans can (though not exactly likely) survive being hit by trucks, so for someone who has supernatural vitality to die instantly from it implies that either the effect is too weak, does not apply to this situation, or simply wasn't there yet
Enhanced Vitality is more of a multiplier for an invisible vitality stat than a straight plus to your existing vitality, its like 2x vitality instead of +50 vitality. So Yuta was more like an extraordinarily healthy person than a superhuman. Also, this doesn't cover durability, just health. Like poison resistance, regenaration, virility, and health.
Yuta was an incredibly, borderline supernaturally healthy highschooler vs a 20 ton 80mph steel brick.
