   I keep coming back to this fic when I'm after a bit of light reading; it's really well put together with Pepper being this half-resentful, half-still-kinda-fond-of-Mori in the sort of you see folks who you used to be good friends with.

   Their whole Line interactions are gold, and the He said he was your beard. - yep, definitely makes sense in the modern world!

   And Thaniel being a very clueless young man. Don't we love him anyway?

      I'm so glad you liked this! I really had a lot of fun trying to balance the dynamic of a Pepper who both married Mori but would be willing to put him through extremes to get a handle on his power. Idk if this Pepper would do all the things she did in the book since Midori is still alive but still

      Thaniel truly does not know what's going on but he'll get there eventually lol
