    What else do I do with my thoughts when I cannot use them?

    Robin and Sunday are sirens, drastic difference from mermaids, like hoyo kept their wings those mfs are sirens.
    That being said in Greek mythology, a siren who can’t sing isn’t a true siren and loses their identity of self

      i've been calling them mermaids, but mentally i use them interchangeably lol i definitely think there's a lot to explore in relation to the sea (the harmony) and its connection with those who belong to it, and the kind of toll it takes to have a core function that is so integral to your identity just...not there?? i have a lot planned in terms of that and how GW would weaponize it :3 :3
      i also haven't dived (lol pun) much into it, but mermaids in this fic are omnivores and do not consume humans :) their songs are mostly defensive to keep from being hunted/have a means to escape should they be cornered or captured. i'm still working out the kinks and deciding how i want to portray them in this fic, i appreciate the link!!! i'll take a look <3 :D
