        GIRLL PREACH! like jonathan morgenstern and his unexplored potential in fics is my roman empire. unlike draco malfoy he literally has demon blood running through his veins affecting his perception of people and how they perceive him. he's the opposite of a spoilt rich boy, which makes him a character i want to root for, i want him to be happy dammit. if manipulating canon to write sweeter versions of bad boys is possible why not jonathan 😭😭like its already implied that without the demon blood he had the potential be a sweet little cinnamon roll, tweaking the extreme affects of demon blood as portrayed in canon to be less severe is something that truly makes more sense to me but thats just my opinion tbh

          i KNOW. personally i never understood why he was written as such a psycopath cause a) the books go through SUCH painful lengths to portray that demon blood does not make you evil and b) being abused by Valentine sounds more like a recipee to me to be very mentally ill and not just completely unempathetic 😭 especially because Valentine would have told him he's essentially not even a person, why would he think so highly of himself then???

          it bothered me for so long this is the result 😭 me trying to write him like an actual person
