    Kitsune don't seem to me to be very easy to find, considering we saw four (Noshiko, Kira, Hikari, and the nogitsune) over a span of 83 years (1943 to 2026). And we know that Noshiko couldn't reforge the sword, as she was not a thunder kitsune. I don' t know if Hikari, a fire kitsune, could do it.

      Thanks for your comment! I think there was one more in the film, the deputy the nogitsune killed? I could be wrong, but your point still stands :) It would have been super hard to reforge the sword without a thunder kitsune but for the sake of my plot I will... suspend my own belief hahaha.
