So, what happened to the Bit? Did they just build a new one, or did they aisolate Shard's code from the Bit's when they put him in his new body? I imagine he'd be a little uncomfortable of replacing another being's existence.
Also, couldn't they just make a copy of Shard's program and have him back himself up every day if he's worried about forgetting?
I was going to expand on it in the next instalment of this, but the Bit is still part of Shard. In the comic, Bits could curl up into these tiny marbles that Professor Von Schlemmer could carry in his pocket. So Shard's Bit body is now curled up and plugged into the controls of his full-sized body, but he can be popped back out if the situation requires it. Kinda like the little Bit is piloting a mech.
