    I think specific types are more common in certain areas. Most of the Galahdian Glaives are all wolves, because that type is just prevalent over there, but there are other types in Galahd. I think the types are probably tied to the geographic region much like the types of animals in the real world are linked to certain biomes. Like, out in the desert region there would be more desert-specific Hybrids, where a more forested area would have those types. That was more past Eos, though, where there was less travel and people tended to stay in one place. Coeurls aren't strictly from Tenebrae, but there aren't many of any type of Coeurl around anymore (They were hunted or captured because they are potentially dangerous because of their magic) so that makes Ignis rare on that front, but more so because even amongst Coeurls, he's rare because of his coloring/breed.

      Oooh, rare even amongst coeurls!! I wondered about that, because of his white color. Does that make him an Elder Coeurl? Especially rare!
